The Final Wave soldiers in unison moved from cover to cover once the doors were blasted open from the inside, the five man team moving back and forth between cover. To an untrained eye, it would seem that their movement was completely random. Calhoun stayed back, firing his weapon towards the out flowing soldiers from the base. The Final Wave soldiers lobbed grenades towards the doorway, catching the outgoing soldiers in a funnel as they continued to laugh sadistically.
"Stop laughing!" Calhoun barked at the madmen. Their chuckles were starting to get on the American's nerves as he fired more rounds at the incoming soldiers. ************************************************************
Ander looked at the viewing screens, seeing from several different angles from the soldiers the Umbrella troops running and gunning out of the building. How he loathed them. His face cringed in anger and then in joy as his soldiers blasted down the Umbrella troops.
"Out with the old." he chuckled. "You relics...you fossils....you are extinct!" he growled. "I am the future! Me and my men! Me and my soldiers! My army!"
He pressed a button on his chair for the intercom.
"Get A001 prepped and ready for insertion." he ordered.

Trenton watched through the security screens as the men inside the entryway were decimated. "All units, hold your position, fire only from your cover. Make them come to us!" Trenton shouted over the radio, sighing in relief as the men followed his orders. There would be no back up, but if this base held long enough for his men to complete their mission, he'd still get the cash prize at the end. "You, Doc, I need to know what we have in this facility that can be used against those men. What B.O.W.s do we have here?!" Trenton said slowly rising to a shout. The doctor he was talking to was little more than a lab assistant, not even fully informed on what he was working on. His ignorance of the situation angered Trenton.
Far below the facilty, in levels even Trenton had not been warned about, a veritable zoo waited. Creatures aging almost as far back as Raccoon had been stored there and experimented on. And when the facility was closed, another was built on top of it, hoping to seal away the monsters forever. The connection between those facilities is about to be discovered by one, scared, explosives expert seeking a way to escape the facility...

OOC: Sorry about that, was waiting to see if Kroic would get back in.
Calhoun and his men continued to move up towards the entrance of the facility. The Final Wave soldiers mowed through the guards as Calhoun brought up the rear. Calhoun was just at the door way of the facility when a large cylinder crashed down behind him. He turned to see A001 emerge from the capsule, rifle in hand, dressed for battle. Calhoun took cover as the large creature marched into the facility, firing it's rifle carefully into the heads of the guards.
"Calhoun to Broken Union!" he barked angrily.
"We read you." Ander's voice replied smugly.
"What are you thinking sending in this thing! My men-"
"Your men? Your men! MINE!" Ander replied bitterly. "Remember, you are my soldier! You are my game piece! You matter only as far as you prove your usefulness, Commander!"
Calhoun bit his lip as he turned and looked back at the Tyrant entering into the facility.
"Besides, better to give us some field time with the improvements to the unit, isn't it? See if they are up to snuff so to speak, and them implement them into the other 999 we have in the bullrushes." Ander chuckled over the radio. "Get back to work....Commander." he finished, as the line went dead.
"Damn it." Calhoun cursed, as he continued behind the Tyrant, who had moved ahead of the Final Wave Soldiers.
"Come out, doc!" the Final Wave Soldiers laughed sadistically, as they tossed frag grenades out in front of the Tyrant. A001 stopped in it's tracks as it allowed the grenades to explode before it.
"God help us." Calhoun lamented as he watched the carnage breaking out before him.

OOC: It's all good man, I'm just going to assume he's one of the many men storming the facility...
Trenton cursed loudly over the radio. "All units, retreat to the lower levels and begin the barricading on level B3. I want everything blocked off; stairs, elevator, f*cking seal everything! If you're not in B3 by the time they start barricading, hide or fight, these guys don't look the type to take prisoners." Trenton was about to grab his rifle when he noticed something. "Door team, has anyone escaped?"
The Door Team, located on level B5, remained ever watchful of the large bay door that could serve as both an exit or an entrance. "Negative sir, no one's even come this way. I think the scientist went all the way to B8." the team leader responded. "Pr*ck" the team leader added just after his radio clicked off, gaining a few chuckles from his men. "I wonder how bad things are up top?" one of the men remarked. "Can't be too bad if they're keeping us here." another answered.
Far below level B8 though, the majority of the scientist were helping the explosives expert rig a sealed door with a charge suitable to escape. "This has to be that jungle exit I hear the gaurds talking about, that warehouse bay's too obvious, they'd shoot us before we got out." the demolitionist said as he put the finishing touches on the facilities bloody demise. "Okay everyone, get back I'm gonna blow it." he shouted as we ran down the lengthy hallway, the scientist following closely behind...

A001 and the Final Wave Soldiers approached a large oversize elevator, only to find it inoperable.
"Maybe it needs a battery..." one of the soldiers remarked as Calhoun approached.
"We take the stairs." Calhoun replied. "Two of you stay here...guard the elevator and this entryway. No one in or out unless escorted by us. Shoot first."
Two of the giggling maniacs nodded as Calhoun and the remaining three Final Waves and A001 made their way to the stairs. Calhoun watched at the massive Tyrant pulled the locked doorway to the stairs off of it's hinges as though it were made of plywood and not of high grade steel and marveled. No wonder the Doctor had sent the beast in with them. It would have taken quite some time to work their way though the door.
"Move down....clear floor by floor....kill all who do not surrender to you." Calhoun ordered to the Final Wave Soldiers. A001, however, simply walked on in search of it's target.
"What of our heavy duty piece of equipment, why does it go ahead?" one of them asked.
"If you think you can reason with it...." Calhoun replied, as he and the others wend on to the next floor below.

Trenton continues to issue orders from the B4 security room. "They've secured the G and B1 levels. All men above B3 start setting up traps. I know none of your are MacGyver but buy us some time." he neglected to mention the men above B3 were going to die no matter how much time they bought them. "Any word on those scientist?" he added, still searching the monitors for a blind spot he may have missed. "Why do my cameras only cover part of B8?" he asked the nervous doctor he had held here as his assistant. Trenton had never been to the B8 level, he had no reason to. It was entirely computer labs and server rooms, or so he thought.
The men on level B5 started their own plan. With the hand grenades, explosive packs, and enough fishing line to catch half the ocean, they began rigging the entire warehouse to explode. "This new commander thinks we'll stick around and be wiped out?" the team leader muttered as they closed the bay door behind them. "I don't think so." he added, walking with his men into the jungle. "We'll join up with the recovery teams on the parasite gathering mission."
The scientist waited anxiously while the bomb maker connected the black box to the red and black wires. When the connections were complete the bomb went off instantly, knocking all the scientist to the ground. Many hadn't recovered when they heard the screams. It seems the old facility had never evacuated their scientist, but many of them still waited at the now wide open entrance. The rush of zombies and weakened BOWs happened just out of the cameras view, no one in the B8 level lived long enough to warn anyone. So now, the creatures wait, not yet realizing there is anything above B8...

Calhoun and his men moved slowly down the hallway of B2, weapons raised as they swept the hallway. Above them, on the first floor, the soldiers that had been issued orders to secure the elevator were starting to get bored. They each took a frag grenade from their vest and forced them into the tracks of the elevator before them. They took cover as the grenades exploded breaking the elevator loose from it's breaks, causing it shift down the shaft a few inches.
"We were told to make sure no one can use the elevator." one said to the other, as he took another grenade and lobbed it atop of the elevator. His partner did the same. They both began to laugh manically as the grenades exploded, sending the elevator falling down the shaft.
Below, the explosions from above them startled the Final Wave troops as the elevator whooshed down the shaft. The explosions from above were then dwarfed by a massive explosion from below.
"What the?" Calhoun said to himself, as the facility began to creak from the explosion. Suddenly, a contingent of Umbrella soldiers burst from out of hiding and began to open fire on the soldiers. **********************************************************************
"Start prepping the launchers." Ander ordered. "Load up some of our lovely flying bombs....I want to blow something up!" he chuckled.
"Target sir?" one of the aides asked.
"Why that facility of course...."
"But...our men-"
"Will die a glorious death, unlike you if you do not carry out my orders!" Ander sneered. *********************************************************************
Calhoun and his men began exchanging fire with the light team of commandos. One of the Final Wave Soldiers rolled out of cover and began to spray the hallway with fire from his rifle. The commandos took cover from the attack, giving the others a chance to move forward, weapons trained on the positions of the defenders. One by one. as the men came out of their cover, the Final Wave soldiers took them down with precisely aimed shots to the head and chest.
As the soldiers lay dead before them, Calhoun and his men continued onward.
A001 came to a stop at B4. The Tyrant unslung its rifle and prepared to enter into the halls before it.

Trenton grew more and more enraged as he watched the men on B5 desert their post. He threw threats and curses with such fluidity the scientist suggested he take a career in urban rap music. Trenton however had no time to deal with the men, the explosion that rocked the facility had taken the majority of his 'eyes' offline. "What's in B8, why did they set off an explosive down there?!" he shouted to the scientist, passing him a modified Remington 870. "We're going out, I can't lead from behind anymore." Trenton continues as he opens the door and walks right into the giant that had just stopped on his floor...
The security expert continued to yell at poor John. John had been used to yelling, even at home his wife yelled at him. He hadn't seen her since Umbrella moved him shortly after the first outbreaks. He couldn't complain though, as much as this security expert yelled, it was nothing compared to home. When the man lowered his voice and handed him the shotgun, he nearly dropped it on his own feet. He'd never been trusted with that kind of power before, and now that there were men killing his coworkers, he wasn't sure he wanted it. That was until the expert opened the door. The Giant that stood just on the other side of Trenton seemed to look right at him. John didn't hesitate, he turned the shotgun to the monster and pulled the trigger. Trenton went down, wether he jumped out of the way or was hit, John didn't know, all John knew was that the monster was still there and he had more shells to fire...
Meanwhile, on B8, the sounds of gunfire catches the attention of the monsters. Without aim, they find their way to the stairwell and make their way up...

A001 took the shotgun blast to the chest with the stoicism that had made it the perfect warrior, at least in Dr. Ander's opinion, and continued forward. The creature moved onwards, towards it's assigned target, rifle now at the ready. More soldiers ran out to meet the creature as it let loose quick, precision bursts from the Soviet rifle, taking down the soldiers before they had a chance to react properly. **************************************************************************
"Finally....a true test....a true battle for my creation." Ander chuckled, seeing what the Tyrant was seeing on his monitors. "Have it find my old friend and place the business end of that weapon of war against his temple....I want to see the life leave his body!"
The Broken Union's flying bombs were being prepped loaded into their ramps as it moved into firing range of the Umbrella facility. As it did so, two workers looked down at the facility.
"Wouldn't a place like that be full of dangerous chems?" one asked, his face showing a bit of concern at what they were about to do. His coworker turned around, now dressed in a HAZMAT suit.
"Possibly....hopefully our bombs will burn most of the killy burny stuff." the man replied, his voice muffled from the HAZMAT suit's helmet. *****************************************************
Calhoun and his men had started planting explosives on the walls of B3. The Final Wave soldiers planted package after package after package of explosive on the walls, doors, ceiling, laughing as they did so.
"That last explosion from down stairs....no way am I risking you guys going down there." Calhoun said gruffly, as the giggling manaics continued their work. "Get the charges ready....we'll make sure that this man has a proper grave....in the mean time....let me see if I can find our opposite number on the air."
Calhoun adjusted his radio and tuned into the frequency of the base.
"Attention to the security detail in this facility...we are preparing to blow a large bit of explosive up here...and I am certain that you have no real loyalty to this company....or what it represents....so I am giving you this opportunity to leave unharmed....my goal is the destruction of the base and the commander of you men....the head scientist...please respond if you can hear me." Calhoun said calmly, as he turned his head to see the Final Wave Soldiers finishing up their work.

Trenton stood up slowly behind the Tyrant swiitching his radio to the base frequency. "All units..." then the power cut out. Trenton groaned and stood up, the better part of his shoulder bleeding. He waited for the emergency lights to come one, but they never did. "Something got the generators? All of them?" John the scientist said behind him. Trenton answered by shooting him in the chest three times. "All units, report." he said switching back to his radio. "B6, why are the lights out?" Trenton said, scared but he'd be damned if he let it show. Trenton slowly made his way to the stairs, his flashlight out and his weapon holstered. Almost forgeting the Tyrant walking maybe twenty feet from him...
Meanwhile the men on B7 were in an interesting mess. With the infected having not originaly noticed their floor, the men had some time to barricade the stairwell. Using chairs, beds, and whatever they could find they sealed off their floor without so much as a single injury. But with the lights out, they had no clue that there was a hole, where one of the server rooms had been, that was quickly filling with the now awakening scientist who'd tried to escape...
B6 was in a state of panic, the men were fighting as best they could, but the sheer number of the zombies and BOWs was quickly overwelming the individual men and smaller groups. The larger groups, like the one holed up in the cafeteria were doing little more than keeping them at bay. "Powers out, that means Radio is too." on man said between reloading his rifle and adjusting his flashlight. "I thought they ran on batteries?" another man replied, pulling the trigger on his rifle and obliterating the skull of an almost skeletal zombie. "They do, but inside we rely on relays to comunitcate, since the building itself blocks the signal. No signal, no sound." the first man finished.

"Wrap it up, gentlemen." Calhoun said, swirling his finger around in a circle. The soldiers followed orders as they made their way back to the stairs. In the stairwell, Calhoun heard the sounds of the infected, followed closely by gunfire. He stopped for a moment as the other soldiers went up the stairs.
"Commander?" asked one of the Final Wave Troops, as the others filled past.
"You hear that?" he asked. The gunfire continued, but the roars were steady.
"The fight?" the soldier asked, his face in a mad grin. "Of course...it sounds like a glorious battle."
"Then why don't we give them a hand...we came to destroy the facility...and kill the doctor....not to kill all these men...."
The soldier looked with a bit of doubt in his face.
"Besides...save them now...and you can face them later in a fair battle...no blasted BOWs getting in the fray." Calhoun said sharply.
The soldiers stopped and looked down the stairs.
"A glorious battle...." they murmured amongst themselves. "Orders wouldn't forbid it...yeah...let's go!"
"Lock and load....goggles on." Calhoun ordered, as he pulled down a pair of night vision goggles over his eyes. "Targets are not free....BOWs, infected, and scientific staff are your primary targets. Only open fire on military personnel that fire at you...."
With that, the Final Wave Soldiers moved down the stairs. ********************************************************************
"WHAT!" Ander cursed, as he frantically pressed the call button on his communication array.
"CALHOUN! ANSWER ME!" he shouted into the microphone. "YOU TRAITOR!"
"We have loaded the payload into the ramps. Awaiting orders to fire." one of the aides said, as Ander turned in his seat towards him. His face was a light with anger.
"Hold fire until I give the order." he snarled, as he went back to his terminal and began to work on the targeting parameters of A001. *************************************************************
When the lights went out, the Tyrant lost track of the soldiers who had opened fire on it. As it stood in the dark, weapon at the ready, muzzle flashes from automatic rifles illuminated the sight of several infected as well as what seemed to be Hunter class BOWs. A001 took aim with it's rifle and began to open fire on the infected, ignoring the commandos around it that fired as well. ****************************************************************
Calhoun and his men marched down the stairs of the facility, and encountered a team of Umbrella soldiers, who immediately aimed their rifles at the soldiers.
"Hold fire!" Calhoun barked, as he held his weapon away from the men. His soldiers followed suit. "We offer a truce....a common, unrepentant enemy is at your gates....and we shall offer our assistance in the pacification of it."

The group of men who'd encoutered Calhoun laughed. The kind of laugh you hear when someone is scared sh*tless and doesn't know what to do. Finally, the squad leader spoke. "Our comm is down, so we can't really ask the higher ups." shaking his head he holstered his weapon and held out his hand. "B4 has only a few, Trenton is on B5 last I heard, if you get in touch with him and get the reserve generators online you can get the orders out. Problems is, the B6 is a slaughter house. We just came from there and there were three times as many of us then. That's also where the generators are." the soldier finished before drawing his weapon again, "We'll keep the stairs and this level secure, and spread the word as we can. Find Trenton."
Trenton had just finished clearing the main hallway of all infected when he noticed the warehouse was completely rigged to blow. "I could use that later." he muttered out loud. "Find the egghead they want, put him in there, let the Tyrant go after him, and both problems are solved." Trenton finished his plan. He liked it, it was simple, full of holes but at the same time left alot of room for improvisation.
Meanwhile the men on B6 were losing the battle. With a veritable horde between them and the stairs, the soldiers had taken to giving the few remaining scientist shotguns or given them the task of reloading thier magazines. Even with their help though, the undead were getting closer and closer to the counter the men had once accused of poisoning their tri-daily meals. Now, the humans were the appetizing buffet and zombies aren't nearly as picky...

A001 moved down the hallway towards the warehouse area, weapon in hand as it marched. Suddenly the creature stopped in it's tracks. It's eyes closed as data was being relayed into it's mind from the receiver inside of it's head. ******************************************************************
Calhoun nodded at the men who he and his troops had met.
"No power..." Calhoun muttered. "No radio..." he scratched his chin slightly, as he looked down the stair well. He could hear sounds of gunfire and screams. "Your men are being overrun...my men and I will find your commander....I would suggest holding your ground as long as you can...however, do not be foolish...retreat...this base is lost to you and your men....by your own design..."
As Calhoun finished, he and the Final Wave Soldiers moved out into the B5 Hallway. ***********************************************************************
"What is taking so long? Why haven't it's orders been updated?" Ander asked, looking at the screen before him. It still read that A001's primary target was the scientist in charge and that hostiles were to be considered secondary.
"I don't know sir....we are boosting transmission."
"General!" Ander spat, bringing up the General AI on his com-line. "What is wrong! You yourself have reminded me on several occasions that you are the most advanced military stratagem-"
"Relays are down below. Signal is being blocked by layers and layers of interference. Final Wave Special Soldier A001 orders are being sent, as such, subject is in offline status until orders can be received."
"WHAT!"

Trenton rounded the corner still watching the warehouse and slammed straight into the Tyrant, again. "Jesu-" Trenton froze, his jaw still dropped at the sight infront of him. 'Why the hell isn't it moving.' Trenton thought, backing up slowly and checking his PDW. The thought dawned on him suddenly. "The relays? We're under several hundred tons of concrete, no signals in here without the relays." Trenton said to himself not realizing the lone hunter behind him. Years of thirst and a poor food supply had made most of the hunters weak, almost killing their screeching ability. If it weren't for the fact that it also lowered their strength to just over that of a strong soldier it would've made them perfect killing machines. Trenton smiled and turned to face the stairs just as the hunter lept...
A small group of men held the door to the power room. All infected, and all severely wounded the only thing holding the door closed was their weight and the occasional burst of adrenaline when something almost opened the door. One man though, was working on the generators. "If I can get these things running we can get comm. We can get rescue, there's no way these things can be all over right?" he said, going through the active and inactive systems. As he sorting through the systems, the men behind him begin to succumb to their wounds...

Calhoun and his men opened fire on the leaping hunter with their rifles. As the creature sprawled on the floor behind Trenton, Calhoun looked at the Umbrella Operative.
"Can we be of assistance?" he asked, his weapon lowered away from the operative. The Final Wave soldiers giggled slightly, as they moved into the hallway and stood over top of the dead Hunter.
"Stupid creature..." one of them remarked, as he looked up to see A001 standing perfectly still in the hallway. "Even dumber creature." he giggled, as he went up to the Tyrant, pocking it with his rifle. *******************************************************************
"Tick, tock, goes the clock," Ander hummed to himself, almost childlike, as he worked at his controls, attempting to boost the radio signal. "And what game shall we play?"
The dials on the power to the signal began to creep upward slowly, as Ander grunted and cursed at the controls.
"Tick, tock, goes the clock....we laughed and sung and lived, but," he sung, as the dials continued to rise, "Tick Tock goes the clock...now you and I must die." **************************************************************
"As I have said before, my men and I have no interest in killing you and your men....we just want the doctors and the facility to be destroyed...." Calhoun continued. "You are the grunts....just like us...well," he looked at the Final Wave soldiers, who were giggling to themselves, looking down the hallway for more monsters, their twitching figures disturbing. "Some of us are regular grunts."
