Ryan looked at Aaraon and sighed then looked down at the Mall Car Park and turned his flashlight on his USP on, he shined it down and he saw the same things Aaron did. He switched to his M4 and switched the flashlight on then attached the scope this time then checked the silencer was tight enough to not make any noise and then he'd knelt down, his M4 being supported by the barrier of the Fire Escape and Ryan sucked in his breath for less misfire and looked through the scope. He aimed at the Lickers first and dropped the first few with ease and dropped a zombie in the process of one, he'd shot at a Licker but the bullet had gone through the zombie's head, a through and through and he'd hit the Licker too. He looked at Aaron then back through the scope and saw some infected hounds. "The f**k?!" he'd thought "Where did those four legged infected freaks come from?" He zoomed in with his scope and scanned the parking lot and saw a pet shop across the way "s***, this is gonna be harder than I'd anticipated!" he thought in his mind once again, he'd daren't speak because the Hounds, infected or not will still have excellent hearing. He pulled out his binoculars from his pack and handed switched on their little light and it illuminated the dark parking lot, he handed them to Aaron and pointed to where the Hounds where and pressed a finger to his lips in a motion of 'keep quiet'. He looked through the scope again and just as predicted; the hounds were still munching on the dead Lickers and he looked at Aaron and whispered in a low voice through the comms they'd had and said..
Ryan: Keep quiet and watch the hounds while I pick 'em off. I can't have one going one direction and then reappearing beneath us.
He spoke in a serious tone, he'd witnessed Infected Hounds leaping higher than a normal canine would; plus, they were stronger. Ryan looked through the scope again and aimed at a hound, he'd shot it and within moments it was dead. He picked off several hounds and then noticed an Infected Pitbull. "Oh crap! My favourite breed of dog.." he thought in a literal terrified whimper in his mind. But this WASN'T a Pitbull, this was an INFECTED creature. He pushed the thoughts of the Pitbull aside and thought of it as an infected creature and shot it like any other canine he'd earlier eradicated in the Mall's Parking Lot. All that's left were the dumb and dumber zombies, he'd not bother picking them off from a distance, all you'd need to do is just aim for their head with a Sidearm. But it was easier said than done. He'd spotted an unused car at the back of the parking lot and he knew it was unlocked because both doors were wide open but no traces of blood or infected had marked outside of the doors, making it known it was a safe car to get in and with any luck the keys SHOULD still be in the ignition. Ryan and Aaron made their way down to the floor after the Marine told Aaron his plan to get the car but because after both men made their way down to the ground they saw alot more zombies than they did on the fire escape and Ryan saw a clear path to the car and made sure everything was safely strapped onto him and bags were zipped. He wanted a clean run and not have to stop to run back and get something, he made sure his USP sidearm's silencer was properly fitted and he looked at Aaron and started into a full blown run, his M4 lightly banging against his back and contents of his bag and pockets were rattling; this was enough to get the undead's attention and he looked back at Aaron then saw an undead blocking his path to the car and Ryan just rose his USP infront of him and shot the rotting walking corpse in the skull with slightly jarred aim but he still hit his target. He reached the car and jumped in and looked around for the keys, he was right. They WERE in the ignition and he'd turned to Aaron who had took the passenger seat and he told him to strap himself in and lock the door. Ryan followed his own commands and strapped himself in and locked his door. Then turned the key in the ignition and the car burst to life and he put it in reverse, mowing over Zombies and hitting corpses, he did a 180 degrees spin and saw the exit to the parking lot and drove towards it and he was swerving to avoid a BAD accident with a few larger undeads, it was gonna be a hell of a long travel to the exit; there SO many undead in the way.

After hopping into the passenger seat of the vehicle, Aaron lowered his window so he was able to fire at anything nearby, but unfortunate for Aaron and Ryan, there was a plentiful amount of enemies nearby. "Well, tough luck for me, I guess. Better just cope with it." he thought, sounding a bit scared in his mind. The zombies and their canines were closing in on them, so Aaron fired his first shot at the infected chihuahua chasing after them. Aaron would have hit its stomach area, but Ryan turned as soon as Aaron fired the bullet, and it luckily pierced the dog's brain.
Aaron couldn't help but let out a little chuckle when he shot the chihuahua, it was kind of funny to be shooting a handgun at such a tiny dog, but at the same time it felt kind of sad that even the dogs were infected and turned into horrible creatures.
Ryan seemed to be having a hard time driving through all these zombies, so Aaron continued to shoot at the creatures to help. He leaned out the window a little bit to fire at another canine. He fired at the dog. The bullet just went clear over the clawed beast, and instead strayed far away from the target, and hit a no weapons sign post.
"Damn it!" he shouted, upset at the miss. Nearby the car was another licker. Aaron checked his clip before he noticed the licker, and saw that he only had one bullet left. Right as Aaron looked up, the licker jumped on leaped on top of the car, scraping the top of the car. The screech of a claw scraping through metal was blaring throughout the parking lot.
"s***! He's clawing through the damn top!" Aaron's said, his adrenaline pumping fast. He fired his clip's last bullet up at the roof. The bullet pierced through and hit the licker's leg. The licker let out a shriek, and began clawing at the roof again. It was almost through.
"Ryan, shake that bloody creature off our damn car!" he hollered. If that creature managed to break in, they would both be dead. This licker was one of the smartest he had encountered, and it definitely had a great grip on the car. The licker cut through the roof, and looking up, Aaron could see it. Aaron almost let out a scream, but Ryan managed to shake it off.
After that disastrous event, it was finished. They escaped the parking lot, and reached the road.
Aaron let out a couple gasps for breath. "Good driving, man." he said, and had a grin on his face. "Good thing I met up with you, eh?"
If Aaron had never met Ryan, Aaron would still be in the mall, and would be made a meal. Aaron felt really lucky now. Luckier then he did when he first entered the mall.

Ryan grinned at Aaron and then continued driving down the road, aiming to get to the streets to find the Police Station.
Ryan: Luck had nothing to do with it Aaron.
He spoke after a few minutes of silence and engine rumbling, he was talking about what Aaron said "Good thing I met up with you, eh?".
Ryan: It was fate, we were meant to meet. I mean, uptil a few years ago, I never believed in fate or Karma so to speak. But seeing all this, it's made a believer outta me.
Ryan avoided a mountain of zombies, all dead most likely as none of them appeared to be moving but they weren't taking any chances at finding out if the corpses were dead or alive in a manner of speaking.
Ryan: Shoot at anything that'll pose a threat to use and make sure you shoot it in the head, hard as it may be while driving you'll soon get the hang of it.
He passed Aaron a box of bullets that were suitable for his sidearm. Ryan then focused back on the driving, occasionally looking up through the torn roof of the car to see if anything was coming at the from above. Ryan had his USP in his lap just incase of an emergency that he needed to shoot at something coming from his side or the sky. He put his window down just enough to shoot out of it and kept swerving to avoid corpses and walking dead. Nothing serious had crossed them since leaving the mall's car park. They were now headed for the Police Station, but first... They need to navigate through the gore filled streets.
[Ryan and Aaron have left the Mall and on the Streets]

[Gabriella,Artemis and Edward entered Raccoon City Public Mall.]
Gabriella and Edward arrived at the Raccoon City Public Mall. The Truck was out of gas and zombies was coming towards them. "Edward...I think we should get inside...Now!" she yelled as she started to shoot at the zombies, then turned around and ran for the Door. She opened it up and let Edward run in, then she followed and closed the door. "Ok...What do we do now? Those things are everywhere." she said to him, showing signs of nervousness. She was extremely frightened of the Infected ever since they killed her family. Then she heard a loud noise upstairs, "What was that?!"
---
Artemis had been hiding underneath the truck for quite some time now, waiting for the right moment to strike. She could hear the vehicle stopping, then the two survivors got out and started to yell to each other. A few seconds later they ran inside the building, trying to get away from the Infected. She climbed out from underneath the vehicle and went straight for the building, climbing up the wall and onto the roof. Artemis went straight for the door and impaled her tail through it to get it open and went inside...

Running through the door, Edward closed them behind, making sure the infected couldnt get back inside. They didnt now how to open door, and they were strong enough to hold a lot of force even though they were glass. As they pushed against it, Edward turned away, focusing on the inside now. Just then, he could hear a grumble in his stomach, and a sharp pain followed. But a loud noise coming from the higher floor of the mall caught his attention even more.
"Sounds like more infected upstairs, this mall is probably overrun with them. Just stay calm, I wont let them hurt you..." Holding the shotgun with both hands, Edward had confidence that the carriers didnt stand a chance. If they were in a group, the shotgun could easily mow them them, even if it just allowed them to quickly escape by them. A mall, seemed like a good place to grab some food for, he was getting hungry. Its been nearly a whole day since he had anything, energy would be required if they wanted to last very much longer. Upstairs, however, was the food court, so looks like they would have to work for their meal. Fitting, in an ironic sort of way, because that was exactly what the zombies were doing. Only theyve been doing it for a much longer time them Edward and Gabriella.

Gabriella kept her pistol ready for any infected that came her way. There was zombies upstairs, but then she could hear voices... "Bill! He's been infected!" yelled one of the survivors. Gabriella became curious as he heard the voices coming from upstairs, "Who do you think that is?" she questioned Edward. There was few zombies down on the floor where they were, it seemed most of them was attracted upstairs to the survivors. "You think we should go help them?" questioned Gabby. Just then she saw the creature crawling down the wall and onto the ground. "Why dosen't it just give up!?" she yelled as she raised her pistol, before she could get a shot, a man jumped out from behind a corner and tackled the Lizard-like Monster. The man pinned down the monster, but just then, the mans mouth started to open up, and not like a human... ---
Artemis crawled down the stairs, and through a door. She started to hear the moans of the Infected going after some survivors, but not the ones who she had been after. She wrapped her tail around a survivor and dragged him off into a old Diner. The man started to scream in pain and agony as she ripped his flesh from his body with her Jaws. But just then she heard the voices of her prey, the two survivors. She crawled down the wall and onto the bottom floor as she hissed at them with her Inner Jaw out. Before she could attack the survivors, she was attacked by another creature. She kicked it off and prepared herself in a battle crouch, whipping her tail around and hissing at the Creature.
---
Vesco prepared himself in a fighting position, he opened up his mouth, and waited for the other creature to attack. Just then some gunshots started to come his way, both him and the other creature ran away from them and into different shops to hide.

*Marcus has left the RPD and is now entering the Mall*
Marcus was running now. Running from everything he'd left behind. After the ambush from that huge monster...
Marcus became seperate from Bennett and Breznhev after that thing had scared him away. He shook his head. He wasn't interested in thinking on that now. What mattered was surviving. As if on cue, after that though had passed through his he heard a monsterous scream coming from the Mall. Stupidly, he thought, he had gone to go and find out the source of the cries. He had nothing better to do, after all.
As he entered the far end of the mall, he saw what the commotion was all about. Apparently some survivors who could not make it to the RPD had holed up in the mall, and none of them knew it. It made sense that they didn't know, however, as the RPD could only do so much on their own. He saw two other men running from...something. He had never seen it before; still couldn't because it was moving too fast. "HEY!!!" He screamed as loud as he could, directing them towards the back of the mall. He waved his arms wildly to get their attention. He knew he was a dead man if he did so, but his job was to protect and serve the public, and he would be happy dying with that thought.
He had stopped shortly after he knew they noticed him, pulling out his Browning and taking aim. He didn't want to waste his 686P on the thing, as he knew he'd probably miss. Four shots, but only one hit. When the other two caught up with him, no names were exchanged. The first thing out of Marcus' mouth was "This way!!" They ducked into a store not far, hiding inside one of the Shopper's Drug Mart Pharmacy areas.
Finally, seconds later, Marcus looked at them, smiling like an idiot and said, "Name's Marcus Liam, Off-" He stopped himself short from declaring himself a police officer. They knew it, but he doubted they'd feel any safer with him than before. "Who're you guys? Got a place we can hide out from... that thing??" He didn't even care about the shamblers. Whatever that thing was, it'd have them long before anything else.

Edward had moved with the survivor, without focusing too much on the creatures. He had no more answers then anybody else, and probably just as much questions as Gabriella. Once they were inside the store, however, he began to close over the security gate. It was a drugstore, they had a security gate to make sure nobody broke in at night, even if they were able to. Once the gate was closed off, Edward could focus on answers. "Edward, and this is Gabriella, and no, weve been running from that thing for near the whole day now. Theres two of them up there, you said? Looks like its good to have some backup, then." Edward saw that the man, Marcus, was a police officer. He had a gun, wore the right outfit, and still had his badge on him.
Holding onto his shotgun, Edward leaned up against the wall of the pharmacy, looking at all the drugs around the pharmacy. They could treat quite a few wounds in here, maybe even develope a way to slow down the viral process of T. But that would take some chemestry, and making sure you knew exactly what you were doing. Youd also have to understand it, how it works, way out of his leauge. Edward was good at his own job, a doctor or anything of the sort was far from his cup of tea. "So your a cop, right on. I used to be a Private Investigator, still am as far as im concerned. How did you get in here, exactly? Because if you can get in, that means we can get back out..."

Marcus smiled a wide, toothy grin. "Ventilation shafts. I used to play in them when I was younger, so I knew my way around. Believe me, I'm just as surprised as you are. I can't believe I can still fit through them!" Marcus' smile quickly dropped, and suddenly, like a mood swing, appeared to be very serious. "But going out there is no more safe than we are in here. There's lots of people in the RPD, but all kinds of monsters along the way. Some Russians were hanging out at the station, passing out ammo and guns if you guys need some." He padded his own gear and added, "I don't really need more, I've got my guns right here." He was quite proud of his 686P. It served him well the last few weeks.
Suddenly, without warning, the shamblers started to slam against the gate. They weren't going to open it, but the other things running around out there might. "Small chat can wait, we're still safer outside than in here. This place is a death trap..." Marcus scanned his surrounding, mumbling something constantly to himself, and finally, with an acknowledgement to the others in a form of a loud "There!!", he motioned them to follow. "There's another air duct right...here. We can follow it to the second floor. It won't get us out, but it will take us to the security room. The place is locked tight, so we can figure out what to do in there. There may even be something up there we can use."
Marcus' eyebrows scrunched together, making it look quite hilarious, and yet extremely grim at the same time and said, "But be careful. Like I said, I wandered these as a kid. I don't think they're all that stable anymore. Reason we can't go out the way we came, other than those zombies, is that it collapsed on the way in. Let's try to keep a meter space between us. I'll go first." Marcus pulled the duct off with ease, as if it was another signal to just how old the ducts were. The manager of the mall was quite cheap; he cut every corner and then some. It was nice that they were quite spacious, though; big enough for a man and a half to move through, so getting stuck was not a problem. Marcus pulled himself inside and motioned for the others to follow, giving them enough room to get in. As a joke he added, "Last one in close the window!" It was a bad joke, but keeping a level head was what counted.

Gabriella followed behind the other two into the air vent. She crawled through with the other two, she was curious who this guy was. Just then, Gabriella looked to her left and started to hear voices coming down from another direction of the Vents. She started to crawl that direction with the other two following. Then she reached the end, and noticed Civilians in a small room with a Dog. Just then she heard the loud screeches of that Reptilian Creature...
---
Artemis ran into the large room to escape the gunfire. Another Survivor was around and he had a powerful gun that could probably take her out in a shot. She ran through the store towards a Air Vent, she clawed it open and ran inside, then heard some voices up ahead. She gave out a loud screech and started to approach them, she could smell their scent...
---
Vesco ran into a Plumbers shop to hide from the gun shots. He started to look around, observing the tools in the place. Then he found a usable weapon, a crowbar. He took it off the shelf and ran out of the place after the humans was gone, then noticed a group of humans and their German Shepard scavenging for food and supplies. Vesco snuck up behind one of the Humans and impaled the crow bar into the back of his head, then the other humans started to shoot at him. Vesco charged at them with full force, took in a few gun shots to the chest but then one of the humans shot him in the head. He then left his host, and jumped into the dog that was with the group. The Canine started weep as he tried to get Vesco out. Then after a few minutes, the group and their dog went back to their hiding place....

Marcus looked up in a sudden jolt, out of nothing but fear. It was the same screech he'd heard on his way there. "No.... this way! Quick detour!!" Marcus made a quick left at the next passage and started to kick at the bottom part of the vent. It appeared solid to the other survivors, and yet it collapsed finally, as Marcus kicked it again. It came off cleanly at the welded seams, the rusted-together pieces giving way.
Marcus didn't bother calling to the others, grabbing Edward by the hand and yanking him quite hard down. He watched Gabriella slip into the same passage, sharing the same shocked expression as Edward had. It was one of those "what the hell just happened?" looks. Marcus didn't care though. immediately he signalled to Edward to help him pick up the air vent piece that had fallen and put it back in place. He said quickly to avoid confusion, "My brother and I used to come here to the maitenence room years ago to hang out. One time we had broken it, but, luckily, we knew one of the mechanics. He fixed it up, but enough so we could knock it loose anytime. He was a great guy... I certainly miss him..." Marcus' face grew sullen with sorrow.
What had happened to the man? He had never seen him shortly after that so many years ago when they were still young. Richard Newmeyer was his name. A great man who lived alone. He let Jaimie and himself come over quite often to hang out. He knew our family, so they were always fine with it. The man had a beautiful house so many years ago with a single oak tree in the back (Sound's like a kid's book eh? XD). Jaimie and Marcus used to climb it years ago, racing to see who could get the highest. One particular day Marcus had fallen out of the tree. Richard rushed over to make sure he was alright, picking him up and putting him inside. "Not too serious, just some scratches. I'll go get the first aid kit." The mechanic had left for quite some time, maybe an hour. Jaimie said he would go find him, see what happened. Jaimie never did tell Marcus what had happened, however. Jaimie just said they needed to leave, rather quickly....
Marcus shook his head, glad for the nostalgia but ungrateful for the loss of concentration. Edward stared at him, calling his name when he finally looked up and nodded. They had wedged it in place just enough so something could pass over them, but it probably wouldn't have mattered. If that thing wanted to, it could shred through the vent with ease. Marcus turned to the others and said, " We need to keep moving. We're on the third floor, we need to get to the fourth. This way!!" He directed them to the stairwell out of the maitenence room.
They came out to the locked door leading out of the room, and two solid kicks later, the survivors stood where the door once was. Marcus pointed past them not more than 20 meters lay the escalator to the fourth floor. It wasnt far from the top of the stairwell to where they needed to go. Unfortunately the Undead did not seem to be willing to give up the chase, as many of them already rushed up from the second and first floors. There were also a few along the pathway to the escalator, but they wouldn't be hard to pass. Not to mention they all knew that monster was not far behind. "A stairway to heaven.." Marcus said jokingly.

[Try to keep a posting order, alright?]
Edward dropped his shotgun down to the floor first before landing on his feet, arm extended for when Gabriella needed help getting down. He heard shuffling inside, and then saw a pair of legs sticking out, hanging and giving a kick every now and then. Edward grabbed a hold of Gabiellas waist when she was inches from the side, and then eased her down onto the ground. "Easy now, I gotchya..." He did this without making a big deal about it, she would do the same for him, given they switched roles. Picking up his shotgun, he gave her a nod, and then followed Marcus out of the security room and into the narrow hallway leading back into the mall.
The cop was ahead of them, already kicking at the locked door. In a matter of seconds though, it had been busted down, and the famillier little jingle could be heard faintly through the PA system. Edward saw the elscelator that Marcus pointed to, and then quickly moved along with him to get to the fourth floor. Along the way, however, he could hear the sound of barking dog up on the higher floor. "Looks like we have some more company, lets keep our guard up. Not everyone is as reluctant to help survivors as you might think."

Gabriella heard the barking of the dog, then started to hear the loud screech of the Lizard-like creature that had been chasing both her and Edward. "Umm I think we should hide...sounds like that thing is coming this direction." she whispered before heading into the Grocery Store nearby.
---
Artemis climbed out of the vent and onto the floor that the two humans and their new friend was on. She gave out a loud screech before running in the direction of the humans.
---
The group of Survivors and their Dog rushed down stairs, to see what the screech was coming from. The dog ran away from them after they were downstairs, the canine ran off into a small store crying in pain...

Officer Bennett entered the mall with his sidearm drawn. Since the Russians took back their precious assault rifle, he was down to what he had started with, handgun and shotgun. He moved slowly through the mall, weapon held at the ready as he moved. He couldn't see where Marcus had gotten off to and cursed under his breath. Maybe he would have been better off staying with the Russians, but to tell the truth, the soldiers really scared him. They were mechanical in their thought processes, they had no compassion for the city or the people in it.
"Better to die trying to save something....then trying to kill something." Bennett said to himself, as he took his radio from his side and pressed the call button. He prayed that Marcus had a radio on him.
"Officer Bennett to Officer Liam....can you read me? Please respond. I am on the lower level of the mall...." Bennett said into the radio. As he released the call button, he heard a clatter behind him and turned quickly with his weapon aimed. A stack of display boxes had been turned over by a far away zombie. The officer moved quickly from the out in the open towards what looked to be a electronics store.

Marcus jumped at both the screech and the sparking of his radio. He was excited that the radio worked and at the same time, he was scared that the monster was coming his way. He was glad that Bennett was still alive, happy that he had made it. But he had other things to worry about.
He didn't even bother with protocol. Immediately he picked up the radio and said in a hurried manner, "Benett, it's Marcus. We're on the third floor, on our way to the fourth. Do NOT follow us! Go hide, I'll talk to you in a second!" With that he shut the radio off and placed it back on his belt. As he looked up he saw the monster running right at him. "NO TIME...", he thought to himself. He raised his other hand in which the Browning had been in during the last period of time and aimed low. Killing it was something to worry about later.
Four shots off, all but one missing. He did not have time to aim; he was moving too quickly. There was only one thing to do. Marcus crouched into a running crawl, extending his shoulder out in front of him. He was going to pull the same trick he had done with the Hunter before.
Marcus picked up speed, not minding the zombies he passed; they were too old (degenerative proccess), and therefore could not catch him. If all went well, he'd either send the monster flying into the crowds of undead ahead of them or stumble the creature, stunning it momentarily so the others or himself would have time to shoot it. He did not care for the weapons the creature might have; if he hesitated, they'd all be dead anyway. Soon the creature was no more than five feet away. Marcus went even faster, seconds before something would happen.
Time slowed to a crawl. The tension was palable. Either he would die or the creature would be busy trying to fight it's way back through the unending undead.
