The Abraham Lincoln Memorial, Mirror Pool, Washington monument, and Vietnam monument are all located closely together in a large park. This area was over run with zombies during the outbreak.

The Heuy slowly roared over the mall, which now looked like a battlefield with trenches and some jeeps and tanks and the alike, The pilot said to Hans, "There it is! The US Treasury, Use that MG42 to take out those zombies guarding the entrance, Along with you will be one of our finest men!" (A npc operated by good ol' Big Boss.), Hans manned the MG42. Lifting up the reciever and putting the bullets in, he slammed it shut and cocked the bolt three times to chamber the rounds in good and nice, Hans then fired at the zombies guarding the entrance and killed them all, shortly running out of ammo. Hans and the other man jumped out, and slowly made there way to the door, and assumed battle position. Hans kicked the door open and saw a dead T-103 and another one who turned to them.
(I want to get a good boss fight in, before we do anything.)

"Jeepers!" the soldier gulped, as he kept his rifle trained upon the large creature. The massive Tyrant turned and faced the two men, it's white eyes staring right through them as it charged forward, it's fist curled into a massive fist.
The soldier opened fire with his rifle, peppering 5.56mm rounds at the torso of the Tyrant as it punched him square in the chest. The soldier was sent flying through the air from the force of the punch. He landed into a nearby sandbag pit. His body crumbled into unconsciousness from the blow.
The Tyrant turned it's attention to the other soldier as it slowly stalked towards the man, it's fists curled angrily into balls. The silent fury of the Tyrant was going to rain down on this man.

Hans looked to the tyrant as it charged and threw the man across the area, Hans turned and started running, His AK-47 and AUG, juggling as he ran. Hans saw a open window, Hans jumped on to a nearby mail-box and hopped in to a window, Hans was on the 2nd floor of the US treasury, abandoned. Hans saw a nearby bottle of flammable Liqour, and took it in his hands, stuffing in a newspaper, which he found. He lit the top on fire, using his lighter. Hans threw it down on the T-103, who was trying to get up there. The T-103 started to burn, slowing it's mobility greatly, He jumped out of the window, on to a patch of grass, sustaining no injuries. Hans ran over to the soldier, trying to wake him up.. Hans then grabbed his body, trying to pull it in to the building.

Strolling through the historical monuments that were set out on lawns for all passersby to see the beautiful past of the U.S. Artimes couldn't help but scoff at how a once great nation could slowly fall to that of the undead. Creatures that lived for only one reason . . . the need to feed. She let out a sigh before stopping, and placing the strap of her rifle across her back. There wasn't a need for the weapon at the time a simple handgun would do to deal a killing blow for any undead that crossed her path. But for the time being the area was clear and she could take another look at the map that was given to her. She was Neo-Umbrella's lap dog what other units couldn't finish she would. She would never fail Umbrella or would die trying, but it had never come to that.
This mission was no different. Though none of the other unites from Umbrella had even come here to try this mission. Kyle had informed her that he wanted the best out here because of the constant trouble with the B.O.W life forms. So far she hadn't crossed paths with a single one or any of the resistance that fought back to keep their homes and way of life ever how meaningless it was. There was a hive hidden under this very park that she stood on one that the governments never seen. But to hide something the best place would be in plain view. The entrances were also in plain view. Her objective was to destroy the hive it wasn't very big, and there for she wouldn't have to step foot into it.
All she had to do was find six buildings that lead to the life systems to the hive and destroy them allowing the toxic flammable gas to seep into the hive. Once the sixth one was dealt with all she had to do was place a charge and the gases would do the work for her. Granted where she stood wouldn't be standing anymore. An explosion like that would cause the area above the hive to cave in onto of the hive. She looked up at the sound of a chopper flying overhead. Her chopper and several of the soldiers that she had brought with her. She informed them to remain with the chopper and remain in the air. They would be her eyes when she couldn't see the entire city.
Pinpointing her first target she set out toward it just in time as the undead seemed to make its way into the area thanks to the sound of the chopper. At least one good thing about this mission the area's she needed were not located to far from her. She would make her rounds, set the explosive and then leave just in time to watch the ground collapse in on itself.

Joshua stood on one of the rooftops vacant of the hungry undead that littered the streets around the U.S monument. His handgun withdrawn, readying it for any purpose whatsoever, a look of determination in his eye as he looked out over the streets.
Raising his head, Joshua noticed the chopper flying overhead, the wind blowing against his hair, moving it behind him as he took out a set of binoculars to inspect the chopper, getting a glimpse of the personnel inside, frowning.
"A chopper filled with people like that... Doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Can't be good news"
Joshua aimed his binoculars around the ground level of the monuments, sighing, catching a glimpse of Reaper walking casually through them, Joshua with no time to waste turn tailed and ran for the rooftop door, quickly opening it and making his way down the set of stairs that led down to the ground floor, his beretta in his hands for any B.O.W monsters that would attempt to assault him.
Joshua continued to make his way down the stairs as quickly as possible coming in contact with an undead B.O.W. Joshua sent his leg into the knee of the zombie, snapping the weak bone that resided in it as the zombie fell onto its stomach with a moan, attempting to scramble its way up to Joshua. Joshua quickly curb stomped the head of the zombie before it had a chance to retaliate, crushing it with ease with minimal noise as to not alert any residing Bio Organic Weapons.
Making his way onto the ground floor Joshua moved past the undead that were slowly rising, opening the front door and rushing out into the streets. Turning to his left he spotted the coming horde of the undead deciding it was best to make a run for it, Joshua turned away from the monsters and ran, spotting the Reaper once again making her way elsewhere, Joshua made his chance to follow her as best he can, hoping to find out what she was up to.

Joanna looked at the scene at the monuments through binoculars, focusing on the woman on the ground. She had been sent to the dead city of Washington DC by the BSAA, who had gotten a tip that NEO-UMBRELLA had dispatched their top operative to the city. Her mission was simple; verify the tip, and if found to be true she was to find out the reason for the appearance and gather any intel on NEO-UMBRELLA she could. Also, if the oppertunity presented itself, she was to either capture or kill the operative.
Her mind flashed back the mission brief yesterday. "Her name is Artemis Matheson, callsign 'Reaper'." said the BSAA dispatcher, handing joanna the briefing tablet. Joanna nodded as she scrolled through the tabled. "She an expert sniper, tactician and hand-to-hand combatant. She has done many solo missions with as far as we can tell, a 100% success rate." The dispatcher leaned forward, her face a reflection of concern. "Please be careful on this one Joanna, this one gives me the creeps."
Joanna snapped out of her memory as she continued to watch her pray. "I'll be carefull." she whispered to herself.

Joshua was synced up with Joanna, Being part of the B.S.A.A himself, though missing the briefing, he decided to inquire her about it.
"Hey, I'm in pursuit of a suspected Neo Umbrella officer, kinda look female, but, you never can tell these days!"
After a quick chuckle from joshua, Joanna would probably notice the B.S.A.A soldier running on the ground to try and catch up with the Suspected Neo Umbrella female, Beretta out in pursuit.
"Hey, Care to give me a rundown on her behaviour and all? I'd hate b*tch slappin' blindfolded!"

Artimes moved across the grounds to her first destination which was the Lincoln Memorial. It was simple the six destinations Lincoln Memorial, the Constitution Gardens, The World War II Memorial, The Washington Monument, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and finally the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. It made a complete circle so there was no back tracking and she could be picked up at the last place. Silence filled the air with the exception of the moans that filled the air a little closer than she expected. An undead stumbled out of the bushes that she passed wrapping its arms around her trying to bite her neck. Of course they would go for the only place on her body not protected from their bite.
She placed her free hand against the base of the creatures chin, and in one quick jerk snapped his neck. The creature fell lifeless to the ground a place it should have stayed in the first place. Looking around she watched the gathering of the creatures. The blades of the chopper drawing even more of the undead toward the area. "Pull back and wait for my call," she called into the radio. "Try using the chopper to draw the undead away."
"Roger that. Reaper be advised we have been informed that B.S.A.A are in the area."
"When aren't they being a thorn in my side? There a bunch of civilians with guns and a title. I can deal with them."
"Be careful Artimes," Kyle's voice came over the radio. "You’re getting cocky. An remember the last two interference you stated were a bit more of a challenge. They’re starting to send professionals after you know that you have become a growing threat to them."
"I'll keep that in mind sir." She looked up at the monument as it drew closer. "Stand back and wait for my orders."
The Lincoln Memorial standing tall looking over the pool toward one of her other targets. It made her wonder why people hung onto the past so much that it continued to destroy them. They even sometimes built monuments to them. She shook her head as she walked up to the base of the Lincoln statue sitting tall and looking out on Washington like he was the protecting guarding. Except he sat above something far worse. Edging around the back of the chair she removed the keycard from her pocket and placed it on what looked like a missed place piece of glass. It glowed as it scanned the card and a hidden door beside her slid open.
Putting the card up she turned on her flash light and made her way down the stairs. Spider webs sparkled in the light of her flash light, and below was a utility room with dust and cobwebs covering everything. Probably from the lack of use from so many years. She moved through the room finding the valve she needed. Flipping it wide open to allow the gas to freely flow at a high rate into the hidden underground lab. She thing broke the valve off to divert any use of turning it off. With the first valve deal with she made her way out.

As she continued to move forward Joshua made quick work of any zombie like B.o.W in his path quietly with a knife, making sure as to not lose her in the chaos, the rise in moans continuing to rise as he travelled.
Joshua Reached the Lincoln Memorial behind her, keeping a close watch on her actions. As she took out the card Joshua's expression turned to that of curiosity, the secret entrance opening up, readying his pistol he saw the Neo Umbrealla Lap Dog make her way into the secret entrance, sighing.
*Placing a hand to his ear, communicating with his team*
"I just saw the b*tch doing something with the back of the memorial, it opened a entrance of some sort... What could she be doing? I'm giving you my position, Joanna, get here when you can, I'm going to have a word with miss secrecy..."
*Joshua could hear footsteps coming back up as he stood behind the opening of the secret entrance, as Artimes made her way out, Joshua took aim at her, a smile on his face*
"A little suspicious to be out on a stroll with all that gear... not to mention your little friends... Having a party without me? A little rude, wouldn't you say?"
...
"Lets cut the small talk, I suppose. What do you think you're doing? You going to talk calmly or do I have to get violent? And don't think of moving, i'l blast you full of holes before you make a simple sneeze."
*He aimed the gun for her neck, readying to fire if she moved*

Joanna looked at her team-mate, smirking as Joshua came on air. She had reached her lookout a few hours earlier, a room on the 4th floor of one of the buildings surrounding the monuments. she had setup a rappelling line for when she wanted to get down in a hurry. It was coiled-up next to her. She had switched to the sniper rifle she had brought in case of something happening, an .338 Lapua magnum Arctic Warfare sniper rifle with a silencer from the BSAA armoury. she had brought her M6A2 with grenade launcher and her PT92 for when she went to ground level.
"About time you called in, I spotted you hours ago. looks like you got a fan club." she told Joshua, still smirking as she sighted down and blew the heads of his 'fans' heads away. "The operative's callsign is Reaper, for good reason too. She is NEO-UMBRELLA's top operative, expert in sniping, tactics and hand-to-hand." she watched Reaper snap an attacking zombie neck with one hand. "The latter which she just demonstrated like a Badass. My advice is to not engage unless she sees you and attacks, she is an optional objective anyway. dont get spotted."
Joanna looked back at Reaper as she sent the heli away, presumably to lure away the zombies. This time she got a good look at Reaper's face, 'quite the looker.' she thought. the sun was behind the building Joanna so she was safe from her optics giving her away. As Reaper went into the Lincoln memorial she disasembled the sniper rifle, putting it into a bag for later pickup. she was just repelling down when joshua spoke. "Damn it I told you to not engage!" she said angrily as she headed to the memorial at a near dead sprint, her M6A2 in her hands. "Dont you dare haunt me if she bloody kills your ass!"

Artimes stopped when the soldier spoke. She tilted her head slightly to look at the person holding the weapon at her. To close. Of course he could fire the weapon there was no doubt that the weapon would discharge, but hitting her was out of the question. "I do apologize about your invitation getting lost in the mail, but I had no doubt that you would still show up." She looked out across the field before shifting to her right bringing her right arm around to wrap around Joshua's arm that was holding the gun.
An as predicted the gun went off, but due to her position now she was positioned in front of the weapon with his arm locked against her. Finishing the move she twisted his arm behind his back and wrapped her left arm around his neck. "You’re too cocky."
"It would take one to know one." Kyle's voice came over her radio.
"One moment," she told Joshua before directing her attention back to Kyle. "I'm kind of playing at the moment what do you need."
"Not me . . . you. A high level B.O.W has escaped from the lab and is stalking the area. You’re going to need help."
"An the lab?"
"You have permission to tell them about the lab. We'll be doing them a favor by destroying it anywise."
"Roger that . . . Reaper out." She turned her attention back to Joshua. "Now we have new problems and as much as it would be against BSAA and Neo Umbrella's code to work together we may just have to do it." She still held onto Joshua not sure if he would start firing if she let go of him. "There are still over two hundred active BOW's in stasis unites in the lab below us. It is in both of our groups’ interest if this lab never sees the light of day. An the stasis unites are starting to fail. My commander has also informed me that there is a high level BOW that has been let lose. So the question comes do you want to help or are you going to interfere?"

Joshua grunts as his arm is twisted, being held by her. "Not bad, for a lady... He nods, giving a slight chuckle, hearing what she had to say he quickly answered.
"Well, does a bear s*** in the woods? Question is, why would Umbrella want to destroy a lab of their own creations? Seems fishy... But I guess i'l tango with you for now, but that doesn't mean we're done with our little chat..." He tries to break free, frowning. "Uh... let go?"
( sorry for a short reply, i'm recovering from a hangover and its not in me to type gargantuan pieces of filler text XD getting straight to the point i like)
