The Hoover Dam is one of the largest concrete structures in the world. It regulates millions upon billions of gallons of water each year. A group of survivors barricaded themselves inside some time ago, but they haven’t been heard from since. Weather their just playing it safe or dead is not known.

Hammer drove away from Nevada going to wards the great Hoover Dam.Charles was in a company car,his company that was still intact armed and stocked with chemicals.Charles had to leave his men to fend for themselves...they had what they needed but they wouldn't survive for long hordes would come in from everywhere.Hammer had the information he needed, now he just needed things to create "It" the Hoover Dam seemed like a sufficient HQ.He sped up then looked to the gas meter,it was near F but it didn't matter he was there, the car came to a stop in the middle of the concrete mastodon. He swung the heavy door open and stepped out,he holstered his Ruger and gripped his slightly customized Browning shotgun and swung it over his shoulder into it's holder.
"Place looks abandon...that's good...no zombies." He strutted to the back of the car and popped the trunk open, there were two large crates in it and 4 smaller ammo boxes. He looked to the large metal bulk doors that were at the end of a small concrete walk way,on the door read:"No trespassing, will be shot if area is trespassed."Hammer thought if they were still alive they would kill him...or he would kill them.He UN-holstered his shot gun and walked over to the large door,he pulled on the handle and to his surprise the door was UN-locked.He walked down a small case of stairs then looked down a small hall and saw a lift,he walked down the hall and looked at the large lift...looked like a service elevator of sorts.
"Looks stable enough" Hammer set down his shotgun and walked back up to the car,he grabbed a rusted metal bar on the railing and stuck it under the door to hold it open. The warm air hit his face as he walked back over to the car,he placed two of the ammo carts on the larger crate and walked it over to the door and put it down.He walked back to the car and did the same with the remaining one,he walked over and into the door to the lift and put down the boxes. He walked back over to the car and got in,he put it in reverse and backed up a good ways,he sped forward through the cement barricade and hit the door.He heard the door snap off the hinges,he hopped and and smirked at the decimated door and front of the car,he hopped over the hood and made the final trip to the lift.
"I imagine this thing works like a regular lift...green for go red to stop." Hammer placed his hands on the controls of the lift and pressed the green button, the lift began to descend into the heart of the concrete mastodon. The sight that Charles saw on the bottom floor was haunting, the survivors that were held up in the dam were dead, looked as though they shot each other...the human way.He walked over to the one stuck at the door with a bullet hole in his head,he gripped the diary that was in the front pocket of the man,he flipped through it then put it in his coat pocket. He pushed the man away from the door and pulled on it,it was locked not to his surprise,he walked over to the lift and grabbed his browning. He aimed at the handle from a downward angle as to not harm what was behind the door since the door said no access without permission on a metal sign, causing him to think there was something valuable behind the door.He shot off the gun and the door propped open,he kicked it all the way open and walked in,computers two of them on opposite sides of the room and two small generators at the wall.
"Looks like I've struck rich boys...oh wait you cant hear me...your dead. But you wouldn't be if you idiots had any sense...guess you can be my test subjects." Hammer placed his things on the floor in front of a large metal table,he placed the larger crates on the table and opened it up,the crate was full of chemicals and small glass and metal vials. He walked over to one of the generators and turned it on,one of the computers turned on...within a few seconds the screen lit up and a server list popped up...Hammer was in business apparently other people were still alive.Hammer looked for anything that had the Umbrella signal next to it but no such luck..it was dead along with its vital members, but he did see something interesting the TriCell symbol something that thought could benefit from his genius not he just needed to get in contact. As of May 9Th: Hammer had sent a request to be a member of the large corporation and received a response.Tricell had placed him in the Biochemistry department and gave him the location of their H.Q,now he just needed to be able to get there.Hammer looked to the decaying slightly moving infected on the metal table that he had injected his new anti-virus into. There was somewhat an affect, the subject had returned to "Look Normal" but still had everything else as an infected...needless to say the anti virus needed work.Charles walked over to a door at the back of the room, when he opened it a gust of wind hit him and he was surprised when he saw a light from outside at the end of a tunnel. He walked to the end of it and turned the corner gripping his Ruger tightly,he grinned a large toothy grin when he saw a small 2 person helicopter...though he shrunk the grin when he realized he didn't quite know how to fly one. After he packed everything he had in the chopper[not including the tested on infected]he hopped into the Small helicopter and turned it on with a button. To his pleasure it was full of gas which meant he would be able to get to the Base with little to no problems, other then the fact he might crash due to him not knowing how the hell to fly this thing. "Well...if i crash at least my body will probably be destroyed and i will have tried something new..." With this hammer lifted the small chopper into the sky a few feet above the dam,as he tried to turn the chopper around he grimaced when he saw a small horde of infected approaching the dam.He thought to himself 'dam im glad i got out when i did'.Then charles flew towards the coordinates given to him
Dr.Charles Hammer is now in Tricell's Grounds

(Sherry and Kevin entering the Dam)
Kevin gotten changed pretty quick and fast. His style of clothing he had packed, made him looked like the kids in Philly. A fresh white t-shirt and nice pair of jeans, with a black fitted cap. He thrown his pack on his back, kept his weapons in the bag as well. He looked around, it was the Hoover Dam alright. He stuck by Sherry's side. "We're gonna have a long way to go" He said to her. He Also brought two bottles of water, knowing their luck, the heat would kill them if they hadn't had any fluids in them.

As the chopper came to a hover miles above the target location, Sherry had started to get goosebumps. Things were actually coming along, she was one step closer to where she needed to be. This was the closest she had ever gotten to Vegas since the outbreak, and it felt like she was coming home. One of the only places she could call home, besides her apartment at the BSAA HQ. Looking out of the window, Hoover Dam was right below them. From this high in the sky, Vegas could be seen only mere miles away. But it was still much too far away to know if everything was still secure, hard to believe that the BSAA had little connection with Vegas. But then again, it hasnt even been a month, only time would tell.
Sherry was ready for the mission, but then the pilot spoke into the radio, which only happened because something urgent needed to be said. "The dam is too overpopulated with walkers for a reason, somebody is down there. We have visual on a live one, you should check it out. They were up in a tower, but had to lock up in a hurry." Listening to the voice, Sherry looked at Kevin, knowing well enough that they would have to investigate. There could be people still alive in there, and ignoring them now would be a mistake. The mission plan had changed for now, but this is what they were here for. Reaching under the seat, Sherry pulled up two large packs, and then tossed them onto the floor of the chopper. "Parachutes, were going in from the sky. Buckle up."
With that being said, Sherry slipped on the parachute, locking herself firmly into it. Opening up the side panel of the helicopter, she peered out into the air, and looked down. "Theres a clear catch on the east side of the dam, lets use that to our advantage!" The red head yelled to Kevin, almost in the most craziest tone. But she wasnt joking around, not when she jumped from the aircraft after giving the marine a wink.

Kevin griined. As fast as he could, adjusted his hat to the side then his pack moved and strapped to his chest then the Parachutes, jumping out of the chopper as he did some last minutes strap tighens. always wanted to see how them damn fly boys feel jumping out,the Airborne troopers were always the cocky ones, but he could tell why they live for jumping out of planes. this was his first jump out of a chopper, most their times were fast rope desents out of black hawks. As he kept his free fall steady and kept a good eye on Sherry, he also looked over at the survivores and the walkers. They weren't knew to him, several of them look shriveld, which could only mean they hadn't eating anything for while. He got in shounting distance from sherry. "The tower is our best chance in landing!" He He adjusted his angle a bit so when they had to pull the Parachutes they wouldn't effect their flight path.

The tower? Did the marine really think I was some kind of skydiving expert? I could land on the opening, but not that tower, thats too small of a landing for me. Sherry felt like maybe this was a good opportunity to go along with a plan of arrangement, but it might even work out that they split up once landing on Hoover Dam anyways. She could lure away the infected from the entrance, and Kevin could get access to the survivors. She wasnt going to yell out a plan, but the both of them seemed to have the right idea.
Sherry landed on the east side of the dam, while Kevin landed on the tower. Both of the landings were good, and the parachutes were ripped off quickly. She didnt bother pulling out her gun, just grabbing the attention of the walkers. Running for one of the bases, she jumped up, and grabbed the railing. As she pulled herself, she kicked one of the undead back. It sent a little shiver down her spine. This was the first shes dealt with the undead in over a week, to be honest with herself. But standing on the base, seeing the waves of infected, Sherry got back into game mode.
Seeing a hatch below the base, Sherry knew it lead to one of the engineer quarters, which lead underground to all of the main sectors of the dam. This would be her escape route. The only problem is that Kevin was too far away to hear or see her, thus leaving communication up to the radio. Quickly switching it on and turning it to the right frequency, Sherry spoke into the mic with a calm voice. "Sorry about that, had a bit of a problem. Ill keep the walkers over here, while you round up the survivors. Radio back when theyre all ready to head back to the surface, and the main entrance lobby doors should be safe."

Kevin, taking the tower, he knew it was risky. but it was his opportunity to get access from the top since doors below was locked. as he pulled the shoot out , it violently jerked him back hard and he knew about 25 seconds he would land slow down. He stirred his way to the tower and he had one shot only to get this right. as he got closer to the rails, he quickly grabbed on and held on tight, in case of wind picked up and hanking him off. so far that wasn't the case.
He immediately thrown the Parachutes pack off his back and climbed up. He watched in the distance she she got the zombies attention. his personal pack, he placed he pack to were it was before. After He was ready, his radio buzzed in his ear peace from Sherry. "Solid copy. I'll let you know." He went to the door and quietly turned it, it wasn't unlocked, which was good. He open the door, there was very little chatter, but lots of panting and breathing. Very good. He walked down the steps, every one seemed to pay attention to the door.
"Is everybody alright?" he asked in a clear tone, everyone jumped, and startled. He counted about six survivors four being males two blacks and one Korean and white, the two others were Caucasian females.
"Were the f--k did you come from, homie?" the African American closest to the door asked, as if he saw a ghost.
"High in the sky" "Well your trapped with us, dawg. We can't hold up for long" "I wouldn't worry, my partner got them distracted, but I'd like to get you guys out quickly as possible so I'm not letting them bastards try too hard to get her"
"Well do you have any plans to get us out?" the one female asked, almost in an madish tone. Kevin looked around and saw some of them had Melee weapons besides the Korean. He held a M1911. "May I see your gun, sir?" He handed him the firearm. "Any mags for this?" he also hand him a mag "Why do you need it?" Kevin Looked back up. at him. "like i said, i want to get out of here quickly as possible." He thought about it then handed it back.
Kevin Dropped his bag and took out two mags for his RFB and started to go over the plan "OK, listen up. I need you guys to get behind me in a single file line," He quickly put them in his back pocket, then started to open his main pouch that held his two guns his uniform, ghilli and such. "I'll radio my partner and get further orders from there. once we get out into there, you have to stay close." He pulled his Kel-tec out and straighten belongings and threw his bag on his back strapped on tightly
He pointed at the man with the M1911. "your my spotter. If we move straight, I'm only going to be focus were I'm going, whats in front of me, and the groups safety, you let me know when you see on from my left and right." He then looked at the two girls. "You two stay in between us," he monition his head forward pointing out who he was talking about the Korean. "And the three gentlemen with bats. Now you guys listen closely, if we get any stragglers coming from behind and they close enough, just whack them and keep moving" they all nodded. "Get ready" he said opening the door to the lobby he moved as close to the door that lead outside he unlocked it.
He looked back at the group. "everyone know what they're doing?" they all nodded. his fingers was on the push to talk button slightly. "Are you some black ops or some sh*t, dude? the pal skin guy asked him at the back. "Wish i could tell you the truth" he push the button firmly. "This is Kevin. the survivors are ready to proceed with extraction. standing by"

The man who asked the question about Kevin being in a Black Ops unit had took the answer with a grain of salt. Nobody was anything anymore. Military background was obviously, judging by the guns and the radio with the guys partner. This made the group a little more easy, knowing that if they were willing to risk theyre lives getting to them, they were willing to risk them to get out with the group in tact.
Meanwhile, Sherry had the attention of the walkers, and jumped down from the base onto the railing side of the dam. Holding onto the steel, she worked her way around the side of the dam, making sure to keep her distance between her and the infected. Thats when she got the radio call from Kevin saying the survivors were ready to get out of there. "Roger that. Take them to the west side of the dam, I only saw a few of those walkers in the way."
Keeping her balance, and holding a quick pace, Sherry moved around the infected horde using the steel barrier as a guiding system. Everytime they would come closer, she would shimmy further down. It wasnt until she hit the edge of the quarter when she realized getting back up would be a problem. Vaulting to the other side of the barrier, Sherry ran into a sprint toward the next tower base, and then leaped upwards, climbing the vertical with her shoes and holding onto the ledge. Climbing around the front would be difficult, as her grip wasnt exactly in her favor. She was nearly to the front when Sherry lost her footing, and was sent down onto the dam road from eight feet up, leaving her winded. Though unable to radio, she pulled out her FNP45 and unloaded several rounds into the undead that come closer and closer, hoping Kevin would take the shots as a call for help.

Kevin open the door, quick and swifft, covering left shooting the two point blank in the face as fore the korean man covererd the right, putting one in the head. "Ok, Follow me and stay close!" he shouted as he follwed the side of the damn to the west. He looked back at the group and the mob of walkers, then followed his attention to the west. Gun shots were fired from the distance. he looked around and seen that Sherry was in need. He lined up the sights, it was a long shot, which was difficult. "...I got this..." he whispered and took a deep breath, and fired a round into one head after the next and after the next. He fired until his magazine went dry, he removed the Mag, putting it into his back pocket and loaded a fresh on in while he was in his shooting stance. He got on his radio "Get clear from them, before more regroup." he said to sherry, as he made sure she was clear from the walkers. "Spotter," he said to the korean man. "yes?" "Give the green that he got no more of them behind us" He looked down from were they came from. "no" He wasn't going to continue with the group until sherry got clear and safe from them walking corps.

It was then that the group of survivors had started to have mixed feelings about the military pair, they were all out of harms way now, why did they have to sit around and wait for this guy to save his girlfriend? They stood back for a good five minutes, watching as Kevin picked off undead from a good distance away with his gun, taking out each undead around the pretty red head girl. But their patience were wearing thin. The taller African American man, named Brosco, looked back at the edge of the dam and seen the whole route clear further towards Arizona. Didnt know about the rest of the group, but he was going to make a run for it. "Man, f*ck this, im out!" As soon as the others in the group had started to follow the African American now, as he quickly nominated himself as their new leader, there just Kevin left sniping at the undead, and the Korean man, Lin.
Sherry seen the infected getting dropped from the gunfire, and quickly took the advantage to get to her feet, standing in the same line as not to get in Kevins fire. As she was running for the rest of the group, Kevin was bravely taking out the infected near her, so she didnt have to worry about shooting while running. She was so stupid to think of climbing around the tower, that was a mistake. But having a good partner cleared her mind, and went back to the gameplan of getting the survivors out of there. However, upon return, Sherry noticed the Korean was the only of the group left, and hand his handgun aimed toward Kevin from behind while he didnt even notice. "Kevin! Behind you!"

As the rest of the group left, Kevin made about 15 shots after Sherry got away from the walkers.Like I said, you're fine to just leave me! damnit! he was ****ed off with the fact that his group left him there. He heard Sherry say 'behind you' from the radio. His heart ran cold. He didn't want to turn around to either get his brains blown or get snucked. What did kevin do? He drop flat on to his belly hard, he heard the shot, the bullet s hit the grown with great speed. He wrapped his legs around with whoever's legs it was, obiviously The korean guy. then brought him down by rolling on to his back, making him fall flat on the ground.
He got up and dust himself off, then notice he went for his gun. Kevin stepped on his wrist with his one foot and kicked the gun with the other. he released his grasp from his wrist then picked uo by the collar and slammed him against the wall. Kevin was quiet for teh longest time, but he had to get over it. "Be lucky I didn't have to shoot you. Get your ass moving," He looked back at his M1911, so far away to him. "But...I ne-" Kevin pushed the guy a little hard. "No more guns for you so shut up." His part went a little over C.F. but He had his Job to do. "Thanks for the heads up, that was really too close. I'm up now. Whats the status on the rest of the group?" he asked Sherry, not taking his eyes off the man but keeping an eye on the horde of very p!ssed off zombies as he try to move as fast as he could.

By this time, Sherry was closing in one them from the other side of the dam, but the other survivors were long gone. They tried to make off quickly, and the Korean tried to get the jump on Kevin for his gun. It was what commonly happened when survivors all got together, just trying to take what they see, looters. Looking at the man who was shaking from the counter move, Sherry spoke up about the current situation. "You only get one chance with me, that it. One chance. You lost that chance."
With that said, Sherry moved closer to the man, but Kevin got in the way, knowing she would do something drastic. It wasnt a good idea, it wasnt right, and both of them knew it. Before a conclusion could be made, the Korean ran off down the road, and Sherry pushed Kevin off to the side in order to give chase. The man was faster then she anticipated, but it wasnt long before she tackled him to the ground, ramming her fist against his face every times over with her leather gloved. Her knuckles had reinforced steel caps on them, she wasnt going to let the man have any second chances. "You put my men at risk, I put your life at risk."
Drilling the man several time over, Sherry stood back up from the pavement, and then kicked the man in his jaw with her boot. Kevin appeared next to hear, a little baffled by the way things went. Sherry stomped on the several teeth that lay on the ground, grinding them up into small fragments, and looking down that the brutilated man. "Now ill leave you to die. Come on, Kevin." Sherry was obviously enraged, but this was no way for a man to left. The Korean couldnt even stand, just lay on the ground, tears rolling down his eyes. But Sherry wasnt in the mood for helping anybody who didnt deserve it. "Dont even waste your bullet on him, let those walkers have him."

Kevin ahd watched her beat him into a bloody pulp. He could understand why she was furious, the survivors chose to die in the outside of the bitter world then take one that was more safer. He gave one last look at the guy then walked away. He let his rifle's strap rest on his shoulders as he caught up to her. He still had alot to know about his partner, but he would let that rest for now. He advoid to ask her if she was alright. "Are they always that diffucult to maintain. Resucing? the survivors I mean." His career in the service, he hadn't had this much difficulty in dealing with survivors, but the more he thought how much this world was going to hell, the more it became clear.

"You best believe it. Not all of them, but ive ran into enough to realize that their is no justice. He wanted your gun, I can tell you that much, the look in his eye. Thats not the only thing he wanted, probably wouldve shot me. Trying to be a bigshot hero with his friends. People like him disgust me to no end, theres no second chances. While im still in a rage, you should watch your ammo, I heard you taking off way too much shots. But since it was to save my ass, ill let that slide..." Sherry didnt look the type. She never was the kind of girl to play hard ball. But over the years, shes changed into somebody that didnt take any sort of crap from anybody, certainly not lowlife survivors who only care about getting what you have.
That being said, Sherry appologized to Kevin, knowing he didnt do anything wrong. It wasnt his fault for trusting the survivors too much, he didnt know any better. He didnt know that they could turn hostile that quickly, in such a short amount of time take everything from you and use it against you. "I dont mean to be like that, I just have my own share of experiences. Dont take it personally, but out here in this world, you have to be on guard at all time. Even from me, Kevin. I know were partners, but I dont want you even trusting me completely. Just enough to get things done. Im not little miss princess, im a cold blooded killer." Sherry had to make sure Kevin knew her inside out, to make a point. But now that she had made her point, things were going to go a lot more smooth for the both of them.
Hoover Dam was only their first stop, and the rest of Boulder City had to treked through in order to get closer to Vegas. They could go around it, but it would take three times as long. Sure, the wide open terrain would be easier, less infected to worry about. However, getting to Vegas as quickly as possible was the best plan of action. Hoover Dam was just the beginning. Boulder City wasnt very far away, and with the sun going down, maybe taking a rest inside would be an option worth taking.

He shrugged it off, knowing he learned from the mistake, but it wasn't like him to waste a half of clip. Either way, this wasn't Marines anymore meaning he couldn't joke around no more like he did before heading off to a mission...even allowing a survivor one shot to do good. He sighed with a nod. "I though about stomping his face in for trying to put a round in my head, if that that counts for something" he was still ****ed about the group of survivors but not that he felt safe enough to say in his head that he wouldn't give two sh*ts about them now. He continued on with the bigger picture saving her life."and besides. I wasn't going to let them eat you," He left it as is, but least he was off the hook for saving her and had to keep in mind to use minimum shots as possible.
As they walked, he kept to himself for about three minutes. Sherry had apologized to Kevin. He learned few things about her, that he was use to. "It's not your fault that you snapped," He turned his head looking at her for a brief second then kept his eyes on the path they traversed. Sherry in a way reminded her of Lance Corporal Marissa. "I'm use to dealing with cold hearted killers. I'm just worried, that I might f--k this up. Not that I haven't yet..." Kevin trailed off, her words sunk into him. trust was the only thing that A marine was taught. In the streets of Philly trust came to a price, especially in Raccoon. He would have to apply the 'city life' even if that met that she had to leave him behind to fend for himself, which was hardly doubtful sine the partnership mattered to them both. They neared boulder city. He checked his watch, forgetting about everything he said and thoughts diminished. He looked at his watch to check the time then kept his eyes on the trail "Its going to be dusk soon"
There was several structures around. They had let there eyes adjusted to the dark. but most buildings required Night vision. along the way, they passed a Collision repair body shop. Kevin picked up a body hammer that curved scale to it. It was a tomahawk and a mini war hammer all in one. the first house they passed was a one floor house. It made clearing a lot easier. They walked to the house. Kevin open the door slowly and looked around. there was about four minuets worth of sun light, he could make out the features of the inside. He monition Sherry to move up. He walked inside quietly with the body hammer in his hand. he walked through each room back around to the living room were she stood.
Kevin walked toward the door. "Its clear," He said to her as he locked it. He saw the switches to the lights. It was pretty old fashion and slightly modern. He turn the nob slightly only to realize light fixtures were designed to dim the living room area. He slightly turn it more to were there wasn't too much light but enough to were they could see. Right by the light switches was a couch and a coffee table. He took his pack off and sat the body hammer on the table. He remembered back in the apartment, Sherry had said that John Chinook might be associated with the military. As he pulled out the Magazine from his back pocket and placed it on the table, doing a Ammo check, he just had to know what his business was in with the military was. "What does Chinook do with the military, that is, if he still is affiliated with the military. Just curious"
He placed the stack of 7.62x51mm rounds then did his ammo check. He used up one mag and the second mag he shot fifteen. It put his RFB rounds at eleven and a half of rounds. Kevin frowned. The second clip only met he had fifteen bullets left. He placed his mags in his pack and moved it to the side.
