The second Sherry was tackled to the ground, evidently as quickly as the gunshot rang off, she nearly dove herself forward behind the cover of an overturned pickup. She seen the glint, knowing that the Vegas Security would probably have some protection along one of the main highways to the city. However, this target was shooting at them. Vegas Security werent stupid enough to think the small group were walkers, and if they were that strict about Tricell it wouldve been the agent that was shot at first. Within seconds, all of them had been in cover, but Sherry was still trying to figure out who was shooting at them, and why. Seemingly, there was a single guy, and if he was in up on the billboard, this could be a problem.
It was then that the idea of a spotter and a shooter came to her. They had the advantage on their side, easily being able to point out where the shooter was, while another took the shot. But what if the hostile had been doing the same? By the reaction time of each shot, there was most definitely somebody else with him, telling him when and where to take the shots. If Kevin and Sherry were going to do this shooter/spotter tactic, it would be better to go all the way and make use of the Tricell agent with them.
Without giving any warning, Sherry rose up, fired several blind shots toward the billboard, and then sprinted across the highway. After taking three or four shots, she vaulted herself onto the other side, and then dipped back into cover. At this angle, the sniper would be out in the open, Kevin could get a clear shot if he knew where to look. Even if he missed it, both of the BSAA agent were on opposites sides, split apart. It could either turn into a game of cat and mouse, or one of the two could take the shot, in hopes it would be a well placed one. Sherry spoke into the radio calmly, breathing a bit from the run not a few seconds earlier. "My guess is hes on he left side, at the back. Ill see if I cant draw him out even further..."

Ahote Calmed him self, Taking deep Inhalations, He watched the girl move her way across the highway, angling the sniper into a bad position, the rate of fire from the Scoped assailant was out outrageous. to quick for someone with out a spotter. He picked his kit back up, And decided he was going for a temporary fix, He removed the smallest roll of gauze, it wouldn't last long but it would slow the bleeding. The bullet didn't exit Ahote felt it stick into his bone, he would have to get it out before the wound closed but for now the current situation, He needed to help the other two, He Then proceeded to roll the gauze tight and layer it, as to help clotting. the pain was bearable. its not like he hadn't been shot before. it was kinda standard process to him now.
"Got his Location Kevin?
Ahote said in a calmer voice looking around and seeing the side-mirrors on cars, seeing Kevin's reflection.
All I have is my solar flares, this m-four a couple more flash bangs, and my sidearm. your the man with the rifle, you call the shots, I'll line them up, Try not to get me killed alright? I trust you can use your rifle.."
Ahote looked around trying to get a fix on the location of the sniper by breaking off a side view mirror of the car he was taking shelter behind, and pushed the edge of the mirror out and angled it in the direction of the billboard.

Kevin looked to the left. He had hope Sherry knew what she was doing, he had confadence in her. When Sherry said she guessed he was at the left side far back, he could actually make out a cap. "I have bearly a shot...I do see a black cap," Kevin said in a even calmer voice. He steady his breathing, inhaling slowly, exhaling slowly. "Drawl his Fire out and be careful" He told Sherry and with his aim at the dead on the cap, he was going to take this shot. The had shifted a little bit as if he was turning to look at something. Usually snipers carried a map on them of the OA (Operation of Area) and pin point every yard, structure, evey tree line and vegitation. This withe the cap shifted back to its position and he seen the tip of the barrel, it was conframation that it wasn't a decore of some sort, which only told Kevin by instint that this sniper was only about a year or so as a sniper. "Lets pull this sucker out..." He said giving her the note that he was ready then he'll ever be with a tone of bitterness in his voice but along with calmness.

A lot had been going on in such a short amount of time, but Sherry had been almost certain by now that there had only been on shooter. If there was two of them, then somebody would have been dead already, as cold as the thought was. Listening to Kevin speaking in the earpiece, Sherry rested her back against the tire of the car, thinking about another way to come about this besides just running out to another car like she did last time. It was too risky, and she got lucky the first time. The next would be a lethal shot, luck was never on her side. She didnt have any ranged weapons either, so she wouldnt even be able to shoot back if things got a little too out of hand.
Then the idea came to her. Sherry opened up the passenger door slowly and carefully, reaching in and disengaging the brakes of the vehicle. With that, she slammed the door, and then pushed the car backwards down the small incline on the highway. Keeping up with the momentum of the car, Sherry used it as moving cover, and hopefully draw at the sniper for Kevin. "Take the shot the second you see him, Kevin..."

Kevin watched The sniper get distracted with the moving vehical. There was long delay. between him and his communication with his spotter. "Take the bait..." He said over the mic. He kept his patiace in, Kevin glanced over at Sherry and the moving car. The sniper took his final call and started to follow the car. He slowly got up, trying to get a shot. "Sweet dreams..." he whispered placing his finger on the trigger and kept his breathing steady, but there was another shot. It startled Kevin out of his moment, he pulled the trigger hair and It found its path right into the throat of the sniper one down. one more to take care of. "Stay by the car." he said over the radio's mic.
That spotter now acted as the sniper. Kevin looked over his cover, the next round almost got him. Sh*t A few more shots at his cover, Kevin fell to the ground. He was starting to take pot shots at the Mazda. "This guy is getting desprate." He thought about what need it to be done. then he realized he had his fitted on and his RFB on the ground. "I'm going to try something." He took his fitted offand braught his rifle to his side. He braught it up with the barrel to the ground and placed his hat on the butt. Kevin slightly raised the gun up to the passanger door. He laid down flat on his back and used his shoulders and foot to guide himself to the back side of the bumper, trying not to know his decory down. He looked at the area where he last saw the spotter. He scanned the top floor he then saw the flash from the barrel, soon that happen he took the bait and Kevin didn't waste time aiming his M110 at the position He saw the guys look on his face then turn his direction at Kevin. He pulled the trigger and, the bullet went through the spotter's sniper scope exiting at the back of his head. "Jack Pot"
Kevin stood up. "We're clear" he walked over to his pack and picked up his rifle and his hat. he looked at the show from his hat and shrugged. It was a nice hat, but he had to use it for a decory. He ran over at to Ahote, lifing him up, after getting his things together. He then started to help him over, jogging over to Sherry.

Ahote let kevin help him up, but he would to properly dress his wounds soon, somewere with running water.
"Nice shot, Kevin... You ain't gotta carry me around like this, For all you know I could be under contract to kill you both.."
Ahote said in disorientation, his voice reflecting blood-loss
"Either way... I need running water so I can properly dress my gunshot..
As they moved closer to sherry Ahote smiled abit,
"Sorry for pushin' ya little lady...and just to let you know, there's going to most likely be a post change in guard duty, sue to time and what not, note i have no... idea who those guys were just taking precaution..but I'm in no shape to lead...and i was following miss bright-eyes here.. anybody got an idea?...I kinda like not being filled with more holes this one hurt enough already.."
Ahote joked, wincing a bit his battle field high wearing off. the pain was setting in. The bullet, beginning to grind on his bones.
"Either one of you got and field experience, I've got some but the bullet didn't exit, and I'm gonna have the time of my life if I have to pull that bad boy out my self.

Kevin threw his bag on the ground and pulled out a military looking first aid kit, twy by three. "I have water. its the onlything you're gonna get with running water." He told him, he wouldn't last long enough to get the running water, not to mention he lost lots of blood. He took out a long metalic clamp, a small vile of morphine, a medical rag, and a clean needle. "It's a good think I took that class two years ago." he muttered. He took the right amount of morphine and administer it to him in his arm. He then took the clamp, The clamp was state of the art, it was met for taking out bullets. once it was attached, he could pull it out. He got the rag ready. He pulled it out and placed the rag quickly on his wound. "hold it on their tight" He chucked the needle aside, Kevin got a few sterl wips and started to clean his hands and clamp off. He looked at Sherry. "If those guy were set there to watch the roads, chances is, they'll probably they ran on a comms. If that's the case," he threw the wipes away and started to put his Emergancy kit away. "Someone is probably raising them for SitRep" He got up and threw his pack back on. He looked at Ahote. "How long does that dressing take?" he asked him.

Hiding behind the car was the only thing keeping her in cover, but sooner or later, it would run past the shooters location, and Sherry would be back into range of his shots. It seemed like forever she was hiding behind the car, but a few shots later, from both sides, Kevin had spoke out that it was clear. Standing up after that killed her knees, but she was glad that things had worked out in the end, despite the new guy being. Point her gun around, the area itself seemed to be free of infected, just a long, empty highway from here to Las Vegas. Which would b a good thing, too as the sun was getting way too hot to travel with the length of time they had been out here walking for.
Sherry listened to the Tricell agent speak out, but she ignored his words. Saving her life or not, he didnt have to jump into the bullet. She might have been stubborn beyond anything hes seen, but this about about the mission, not thanking him for anything. By the time Kevin had got out the field first aid kit, Sherry was already hiking down the highway towards the billboard the snipers had been placed on. She couldve sworn that one of them fell off when Kevin shot them. At a closer look, there was a ladder climbing up the entire length of the pole, and it was obvious that this was used on a regular bases. Seeing the body laying in the sand not far from the billboard, Sherry crouched down, and inspected the body.
The first thing she reached for was the sidearm, a standard 9mm pistol. Looking at the magazine, it only had four shots left, so she left it where it was. No need to carry it around, somebody else would find it, somebody more appriciative then her who would need those bullets. A pair of sunglasses caught her attention, picking them up off the the ground not two feet from the body. The were a nice pair of aviators, perfect for the sun, and now belonged her to. Placing on her face, she grinned, looking up at the horizon and not having to squint or raise an arm. However after getting closer to the body itself, Sherry noticed the badge on the right upper sleeve. Sherrys eyes went wide when she read the initials L.V.S., Las Vegas Security. "Kevin, I think you should come see this..." Sherry spoke in a slightly worried tone of voice.

The sound in Sherry's voice sounded worried. He looked around and saw she was at the billboard. "I'll be there." He Looked at at Ahote. "Stay put" He walked to the building and climbed the latter. He got up there. "Nice shades," He said to her. "What's up?" He looked over at the body and notice the badges "LVS" he staired at them for about a minute. "...F--k me" he said. He now understood the tone in her voice. He walked away from the body. He Had to think for several seconds. "Damnit"

Kevin thought and thought. The only conclution he had in his head was to take them back to Vegas, so the familiy and LVS you get a propper burial, no man gets left behind also nagged on the military side of him too. If they had contacted their base, they probably got Kevin, Sherry, and Ahote's faces. Or John, probably followed them froma distance and was listening to the radio chatter. One thing for sure, mistakes were made, but the way the LVS was positioned, he wouldn't be able to see that patch. "What I'm looking at," He finally said after his silence was broken. "We can't leave them here like this. Right?" He sighed in frustration. Did Kevin finally screw up? If he did he would have to take the bodies to the officals himself and explain what happen to them. "We take them back to Vegas. Tell them the bad news." He said to her. He knew she'd understood that, but did she know what would happen if they told him the truth. "I'll even tell them myself if I have to..."

Their mission was simple. Get dropped off in Vegas, check out the place, do a few rounds, and get extracted. A couple of hours wouldve been all they needed. Since day one, things have gotten nowhere but out of hand, and in the end, it was all her fault. Sherry felt terrible for the two men that were positioned here, regardless of them shooting first or her and Kevin, the two young soldiers lost their lives. The body on the ground looked to be in his mid twenties, but thats as far of a connection she could get. They didnt wear any identification, its just not part of the plan when the virus took over, there was no real proticol for this sort of thing. "Kevin, you carry him, your strong enough. Id do it, but you know I dont have the upper body strength for that. Well take him in together, as part of the BSAA. In the line of duty, thats all theyll ask, thats all they need to know. The line of duty..."
Sherry knew that was all that mattered. They could have been here laying on ground yesterday, they could have shot and killed her there on the spot. No matter how you put it, they died just doing their jobs. The only thing that really ticked her off was the other guy traviling with her and Kevin, the Tricell agent. Hes been pretty much nothing but trouble since he ran into them, to think he was doing all of this just for one guy. But, Sherry wasnt going to hold any grudges, there wasnt any use for it. She would just tell it like it is. "If you still plan on sticking around, you better not follow us through the checkpoint. Your after Chinook, right? Go find him. You already know more about him than anybody else does, shouldnt be much a problem for you."

Kevin didn't like the plan of saying they didn't on the line of duty when both side were made, but it seem fair enough. He didn't show it. she told him to take the bodies, She needed the strength anyway. When they got back to the highway, Sherry confronted The Tricell agent. Kevin laid them on the ground and looked at them, one was just only young. He grunted then open a passanger door to a Nissan Armada 2011 SUV. He checked the drivers door side to see if keys were still there. there wasn't. he shut the door in the back after he had laid them on the bench then made his way to the driver side door. He got underneith it and started to hot wair the car. He listen to Sherry's tone of her voice.
"If you still plan on sticking around, you better not follow us through the checkpoint. Your after Chinook, right? Go find him. You already know more about him than anybody else does, shouldnt be much a problem for"
"She's right" He piched in, as he started to get the engine going and he put the AC on full blast cold for the bodies as he closed the door. "If you want to look for him, you'd do it yourself. We go things to do over at Vegas that needs to be done" He said it as bluntly as he could, so they can get to Vegas. He stair at the Native American and said to Sherry "Car is ready. Lets get going" He walked over to the car car and got in the drivers seat Sherry gotten in at the passanger. "Off to Los Vegas..." He murmured. The grey SUV drove off to Vegas.
[Kevin and Sherry are now proceeding to Vegas At the Hotel Mirage]
