<sorry for not posting yesterday, was in the hospital and yes I am fine, just over exhaustion>
As the import of the words sunk into Sin, she felt a flash of warmth-searing erupt in her chest when Dominique said those words and though she lacked how to describe the feeling. Feeling like she could take on any challenge, any foe as long as she felt this way and inwardly she felt it was un-crusader this feeling but it was one she momentarily allowed herself to enjoy. There was always that tinge of guilt and she knew deep down the guilt was true but it was hard to find fault in this feeling as she nodded towards Sin, her impassive mask cracking slightly at the corners of her mouth as a smile threatened to break out before turning around brusquely-not wishing to falter again with the hope of seeing Simon again that Dominique has offered her and though she knew she couldn't really be what Dominique wished her to be she would not falter to be a crusader.
Walking over to a simple light fixture that had remained unlit, though before reaching out towards a chain that dangled from the plain imitation gas lamp-Sin paused as she said over her shoulder, "I understand Lady Crusader, I shall endeavor to meet your expectations of me in all my actions from now on.", and yet despite the words, and her own resolve not to let herself falter again there was just a tiny bit of joy that tinged her words, turning with her voice that simple statement into a song almost as she reached out to pull the chain. From behind the wall came a loud grounding noise, before a section of the cement wall slid away revealing a well lit corridor, the light glistening off the white granite into the distance. "From here we can walk side by side for I am sure there will be no danger. If there was this corridor would remain dark when I used the chain to open this passage, the way shouldn't be difficult and with luck we will run into one of the patrols that move around through the tunnels that connect the base to these out posts.", though Dominique asked her not to do it again, Sin could not deny the training as she turned briefly before Dominique before adding, "I would be honored to be your Crusader Lady Templar, if only to be of use to you.", with that said she brusquely turned around and began down the well lit corridor, taking care to move at a pace Dominique would find comfortable as her armor instead of absorbing the light seemed to reflect it instead.
They walked with only the sounds of their footfalls echoing back around them, though the tunnel was well lit and very well sealed it was chilled despite the summer heat as they two walked. During the walk Sin dwelt upon Dominique's words, and still felt that strange burst of feeling that made her almost lightheaded, it was so strange this feeling where as the Crusaders were instilled to remain emotionless in order to be effective, that emotions hampered one's ability to fulfill their duty. Yet, Sin found it hard such a feeling could be so delibitating, [i[Perhaps...I just don't understand enough, it is so knew and yet...somehow it feels like I felt like this before..[/i], and after some thought she knew why, it was a feeling Simon instilled into her during their sessions, something she felt when he complimented her upon achieving something difficult-yet he did it through actions and Dominique through her words but the results was the same.
For a moment doubt clouded her as she realized that Simon was taken from her, yet then something a story came to mind, These feelings...they are my weakness, where as Samson had his pride these feelings are my weakness...when Samson showed humility he was given back his strength...if that is so if I can control these feelings Simon will be returned..., relief flooded as her mind wrapped around that, yes this was a test like that story she would have to learn the same lessons as Samson had to learn before she too earned what she had lost.
So deep in her own thoughts, she barely heard the swish of a blade being drawn it was only by the barest of a reflex that she stopped as a sword pierced the cement wall to her left, as she stepped backwards the gleaming sword reflecting her face back at as she reached down to the hilt of her sword. From a side corridor to her side walked a hulking man in black armor, his height impressive that he towered over Sin and yet he was well portioned for his height as he pulled the sword from the wall. As the two black armored crusaders stared at each other, both now holding their weapons before them.
The moment stretched, time seeming to slow down before speeding up as the male black armored crusader attacked bringing his blade downwards towards Sin, who because of the confines of the corridor used her sword to block the descending blade. The impact echoing off the walls as Sin was brought to one knee as she finally slowed the descending blade of the other crusader before finally stopping, her body trembling from the effort of keeping the other's massive weapon from going any further. As time seemed to slow down again, the man suddenly moved forward, the length of his blade sliding along across Sin's blade before the hilt of his blade collided with the blade of Sin's weapon and though a for a moment Sin might retain her weapon, it was suddenly knocked from her hands as the power of the other crusader became evident as he twisted to pant one foot against Sin's chest.
The force making Sin fly backwards before sliding along the floor, her armor sparking as it slide across the granite before she came to rest in front of Dominique, her sword stopping beside her. The entire moment happening within moments that both she and her sword and landed and slid along the floor at the same time. With barley time at all the other crusader had his sword point resting upon Sin's throat. In a voice where as Sin's voice was melodious, his sounded like the drums of war and yet his words weren't angry merely curious as Pride motioned with his head towards Sin's fallen sword, "Where is your mace Sin, you have never been that skilled with a sword.", with one fluid motion he had moved his sword from Sin's throat before sheathing his weapon upon the scabbard upon his back.

Dominique walked beside Sin her mind wrapping around how to approach her father about Sin. She knew he would refuse her request, and then she would demand to go to the Counsel like always. Then there was the Counsel that she would have to propose why she wanted to take Sin on as her Crusader. There was the fact that no Crusader ever survived the mission she was sent on. Every single one of them always ended dying in battle. They were never trained like the other Crusaders, and they proved to only be a hindrance to her missions. Though this time maybe there was a reason, because if she hadn’t lost her Crusader they would have already been inside of the fort and she wouldn’t have been there to find Sin.
She was taken by surprise at the sound of metal clashing. Looking up she could see Sin trying her best to stand against the other Black Crusader. She couldn’t understand why he would attack one of his own, and knowing Sin still wasn’t up to her full strength she knew that she wouldn’t stand a chance. Though she couldn’t believe how large this other Crusader was. An knew well enough that the sword back in the outpost belonged to this individual in front of her. She went to speak, but Pride had knocked Sin back where she comes to stop in front of her. She felt herself hold her breath as Pride’s sword come to rest near Sin’s neck. Everything happened in a matter of second, but seemed to take forever. An when he pulled the sword away she was able to let out a heavy breath.
He asked about her mace she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of guilt. She knew well enough that Sin had lost her weapon because of her, but this gave her a bit of insight on how Sin handled a sword. Considering being taken by surprise she thought she did well, and then there was the fact that her opponite was a bit more experienced and stronger considering the past situation. “She sacrificed her weapon for my life,” she finally spoke up before stepping in front of Sin. She looked down at Sin to make sure she was okay before looking at Pride. “An if you’re done trying to take the head of this Crusader I need to get into contact with the Counsel.” She fought the urge to reach down and help Sin up. She didn’t know how she would react if she did that in front of another Black armored Crusader.

Sin looked up towards Pride, trying to catch her breath as Dominique stood between them-even through her armor she had felt the impact of Pride's booted foot as it slammed into her only a few moments ago. It was with some effort that she got up from the ground, minute tremors shaking her body as she reached over to grasp her fallen sword before sheathing the weapon. Though she sucked in a sharp breath at Dominique's words as she used the wall to keep her balance before placing a hand upon Dominique's shoulder, and though her voice was breathless she managed to answer Pride, "I lost my weapon to carelessness when I was guarding the Lady Templar here. Though I am not as skilled with the blade it was the only choice left in the outpost.", gaining her strength, a bit of breath she managed to move herself in front of Dominique, and though she was taller than Dominique Pride easily overshadowed them both as he looked down upon the two.
For his part Pride simply nodded, "You kept your weapon longer than Lust did though she earned the accomplishment of the mission you led.", for a moment it appeared that Pride had forgotten about Dominique but almost as if in second thought he looked over Sin's head towards Dominique, lowering his head slightly before adding, "But bringing back the Lady "Templar", should earn you some accomplishment as well to compare with that of Lust's.", even though his tone was civil there was an undercurrent with the word "Templar", almost patronizing that a Templar was brought back by a Crusader and something that was simply the only event that could occur.
Nodding her head, though long association with Pride she had long grew accustomed to how he spoke about Templar's through she simply took it he respected him as much as she did, "I am glad that our Divine mission was accomplished when I came across your battered sword within the outpost, truly I am shamed knowing I failed in leading the squad to the final objective.", though she tried to hide it, there was a tone of bitterness that betrayed her matter of fact tone that she tried to instill in her voice as she strode up to stand by Pride's side, "Yet, hearten to hear that Lust accomplished the missions despite my blunder at the cliff.", still that tone of bitterness as she and Pride began walking side by side with each other, a life long habit and almost natural-to Dominique despite the introduction it would appear as if they were two long accustomed friends use to each other.
For a moment Pride walked in silence before speaking, though it was not to Sin he addressed but to Dominique, "Lady Templar, the counsel is still in session if you deemed yourself "presentable" for the "August" body, I believe they are still going over the night's missions and their results.", and again that slight undertone that though fight was unmistakable as he turned towards Sin, "Though I am hearten by your return, it also darkens my mood for Lust's advancement and my own...", Sin for a moment tensed, her face paling and yet she didn't miss a step as the two walked, taking a corridor that would lead them to a certain room.
The sounds of their footfalls were the only sounds made till they reached a certain set of double doors, before Sin spoke again, "Would I rather have not failed so dismally upon that cliff not to see these doors ever again for it is a stain upon my performance. Yet the judgement is justified for the act of failing is it not.", it was a small statement as they opened the door that led into the bloodletting room for black armored crusaders to prove themselves of a rank within their squads.
Following behind Sin, Pride let the doors close before unhooking his sheath from his back, leaving the giant blade upon the wall which was soon join by Sin's new sword, "Failure in the eyes of "some", but a deed worth praise to others but we must do as the "Templars" ordered for they are our will and we their weapons.", as the two faced each other, each falling into a fight stance in preparation to see who would claim the rank of second in command of Seraph squad, to the side of them was each of their crests and above them all was Lust's.

As Dominique lay almost forgotten by the two as they walked down the hall she knew what awaited them, but hated it. To her Sin did not fail in her mission, but almost sacrificed her life for it to succeed. But yet it seemed that the Crusaders were taught that sacrifice was a failure. The more she time she spent with Crusaders the more she hated how they were raised. They weren’t given the opportunity to see what the world was truly like through their own emotions, but deprived of that chance to them having emotions were weak. They didn’t seem to grasp the thought that emotions could give them more strength than they ever thought. She stopped following Sin as they moved into the arena. It seemed that they had everything planned, and were waiting on Sin’s return.
Turning she knew well enough where the Counsel was, it was always the same in all the place. Still she couldn’t help but think of the fight it was one sided considering that Sin wasn’t in her best shape at the moment. Her hand drifted to her neck as she thought back on what had happened in the woods. She let out a heavy sigh before stopping in front of another Templar. “Stop,” she growled when he went to speak. “I do not intend to interrupt the meeting, but I wish to speak with my father as soon as they adjourn for a break.” The Templar nodded before stepping into the doors. She on the other hand walked over to sit on a bench waiting for her time to enter. She knew she wasn’t dressed appropriately to even approach the Counsel, but she knew this couldn’t wait. She knew Sin would lose her rank, and it wasn’t right. So the next best thing would be to promote her beyond that of a group leader. At least when she thought about it earlier it sounded better.
She paused when the doors opened and her father exited. He didn’t wear normal armor like the rest of the Templars. He wore a long black robe with golden trim, and the Templar’s symbol in the center of the robe. A hood draped over his head to hide his face, but everyone knew who they were. It was more for show now than anything else. She had only seen a couple of the Counsel members on the battle field, but never once had she seen her father on the battle field. She signed and stood up bowing before her father before he motioned her into the currently empty Counsel Chambers. Out of sight of everyone he quickly wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into an embrace.
“When they told me that they couldn’t break into the Fort I feared that you had been lost.” He pulled her back noticing the bandage on her shoulder. “Were you bitten? What happened?”
“Just a rough time escaping. Do not worry. But I do want to speak with you,” she said as she pulled away. She knew his answer before she even asked the question, but she still had to ask. “I am sick of the Red Crusaders. None of them even survive my missions, and most of the prove to be a hindrance.”
“No. How many times do I have to tell you no,” he said as he threw his arms in the air. “Why do we have to go through this every time?”
“Because I am right. The Red Crusaders are barley trained enough to even fight. They can’t survive long enough for anything. If you want me even succeed at anything then please. There was a Black Crusader that helped me and saved me. Regardless of her wounds she still fought to keep me safe.”
“Didn’t seem like she did too good of a job.” He said motioning to her neck.
Dominique growled slightly before crossing her arms. “This was my stupidity and my misstate. She was able to save me when I failed. She was nearly on death bed when she saved me the first time. Why . . . as a father and the head of the Templars . . . why can’t you see that I am right and grant my request.”
He shook his head and walked back to her. “Because I want you to grow strong to take over my lead when the time comes. An with someone who will be doing all your fighting that won’t happen.”
“Then I want to see the Counsel.”
A loud slap echoed through the empty room as he hit her across the face. “How dare you undermine me!” he shouted before turning to head to the back of the room. “You know well that the Counsel does as I command with it comes to you. But if this is what you seek then so be it.” With that he disappeared.
Dominique’s hand went to her cheek as soon as he left. She felt the tears like so many times before. She knew she should have been used to it, but still she could always feel the tears. She knew that a father should never treat their child like this, but she always wished and prayed that at one time he would wrap his arms around her and say that he was proud of her. She fought back her tears and stood straight when the Counsel entered the room. Her father taking the center chair as the others sat down.
“Dominique Laurence you have come to me with a request that I have refused. You have then requested to see the Counsel. I have spoken with them, but I will allow you to make your request.” He spoke the tone in his voice cold.
“Very well. I have lost my Crusader during a mission I have failed. The Red Crusaders have become a hindrance to my missions. Not a single Crusader has survived with me, and I cannot keep going on knowing well enough that all a Crusader is going to do is dying on my mission. I have encountered a Black armored Crusader who had above all odds proved herself to me. Even when she was hurt beyond all measures even to the point that other Crusaders could not move she still managed to keep me alive and in general overall good health. Her name is Sin, and I am seeking the Counsel’s permission to take her as my Crusader.”
From the left another Templar spoke her voice in a way reminded her of Sin’s voice when she spoke. It held almost a musical tone. “Is this your proposal for this Crusader?” When Dominique nodded the Counsel stood up. “Then give us time to take your request into consideration.”
As the Counsel left she couldn’t help but wrap her mind around the woman’s voice and how much it reminded her of Sin. It was just another reason why she wanted to have Sin as her own Crusader. At least with her she could allow her to be more free of her emotions. Dominique sat down in the middle of the floor waiting for something she knew wasn’t going to happen, but she had to try. Still once they denied her request she had to keep another part of her word toward Sin. She would have to start finding out what happened to Sin’s father. She wasn’t going to go back on her word to her. At least then she knew she could make her happy. When the Counsel started to enter the room she quickly stood up to present herself as best as she could.
Once the Counsel took their seat the woman stood up and looked down at Dominique. The look on her father’s face told her well enough that she had lost what she wanted. He didn’t even try to hide the smirk beneath the hood. “The Counsel has talked over your request, and we have decided on the answer. Even though you have failed your mission, and we have lost the Fort and a chance to move forward at this time. You have brought back a Black Crusader, and considering the training and time it takes to raise one. Losing just a single Black Crusader is devastating. You have redeemed yourself by bring back the Crusader names sin.” She then took a seat.
Normally her father would be making the statements, but considering it was her he couldn’t with the fear that he would change the answer in her favor. Still she knew better than that nothing was ever in her favor. Another Counsel member stood up beside her father. “Dominique Laurence you have requested the use the Black armored Crusader named Sin. We have spoken over your request, and in your favor we grant your request.”
Dominique struggled to keep her composure when they said she could keep Sin. The Counsel had never voted in her favor, and at first she was going to think her father knowing he must have told them yes. But the look on his face said that he was against it. She looked to the Counsel as they all nodded in agreement except for her father didn’t move. The rest of the Counsel stood up to excuse themselves from the room her father standing last. An even through the noise she could barely make out the words. “I should have known Simon would interfere.” She tilted her head in confusion, but it was something she would have to think of later.
With excitement she made her way out of the Counsel Chambers heading to the arena that Sin was in. She knew time had passed, but had also known Crusaders to fight for a long period of time. If she wasn’t there she would find her. She couldn’t wait to tell her that Sin was going to be working with her now. She was finally given a partner that she could depend on, and not fear she would die within a few hours of the mission. She finally approached the doors leading to the arena still hearing the fight going on.

Crusaders vying for rank would have to settle the choice within the hallowed room that Sin and Pride now stood crouched in their chosen stances. Sin settled for a stance alike to when she fought with her mace in one hand, one foot edged forward of the other, while her arms were up in a guard position, her upper body weaving slightly and though she wore armor the rigid metal seemed to flow now with her body as she eyed Pride. Unlike Sin who had taken a more fluid stance, Pride stood in a stiffer style, like a wound spring ready to explode. They both knew the rules of the fight, there was not agreed upon start, most times it was a fury burst of movement and then one would be lying upon the floor defeated, yet this was not young bloods but two experienced fighters, veterans in their own rights who now sized the other up, one who was not at her best and one who was fully rested.
Sliding her feet one of the other but remained their distance and form from one another, Sin inched to Pride's left side-he making a minute move to keep her facing him. As the moment dragged on, Sin realized how different their styles were, while she moved in larger areas Pride was known for utilizing as little movement as possible with both defense and offense, even earlier his attack was purest symbol of movement with no waste and she realized that she would only win if she could force him to over extend his precise movements with her elaborate ones. She would have to attack from different directions, feinting in one then attacking the other to force him into defending without attacking, and inwardly she realized she had no chance at winning, with her body still tired her biggest asset was her speed and it would be handicapped even more with a tired body wearing armor...but that was part of the test, the more exhausted the Crusader that greater they were if they won such contests and earned the rank they deserved within their ranks.
Bunching her leg muscles, Sin lunged forward using her forward foot as a pivot to bring her back foot into a kick towards Pride's right side, he having prepared for such an opening attack was already moving catch her leg between his side and arm. Using the momentum of her spin to twist in the air, the added support given by Pride allowed her to kick out with her free leg into a donkey kick. Not risking the attack Pride released his hold on Sin's other leg to bring his hands up to block the other attack. Though she struck hard, she didn't even hear a sound escape Pride as she used the impact to push herself away from Pride using her foot, allowing her to gain some space from Pride as she rolled into a crouch after landing. It was with some dismay to see Pride once more falling into his previous stance, the realization that with him fully rested the only thing he had to do was wait it out while she exhausted herself in meaningless feints and attacks.
Getting back up into her original stance, Sin realized that she would have to try to duke it out with Pride and hope she avoided his hits while landing hers. It was not the ideal of situations for it put her firmly into his advantage without gaining anything herself but the asset of her agility versus his quick powerful attacks.
With a burst of speed she launched herself forward, twisting to the side to avoid his first jab then jumping back to avoid his follow up jab as she counter attacked along his forearm. Her fist screaming as it connected with the his armored forearm as she ducked to avoid his back handed swing, crouching Sin rolled to the side to avoid the knee that was aimed at her face before rolling back up to swing a leg towards the back of Pride's leg, nearly crying out in frustration when he moved but a fraction faster to turn his leg enough so her leg slammed into the muscle of his calf while retaining his balance with his other.
Recovering from her failed attack, she slid away from his attempt to grab her leg before regaining her feet, already launching herself into a series of fast jabs, landing a number of them before he could recover but eventually he started blocking them, absorbing her blows as he launched his own. She weaving to the side, jumping back and twisting only bare inches away from each haymaker, jab and lunge using her agility to its greatest strength landing a blow once in awhile when he overextended himself.
Yet, through she had landed many blows Pride hardly seemed phase as she started to find herself slowing down more and more. Already her breathing was coming harder as she could no longer keep up her frantic offense or defense as when eventually one of his blows did land, though she had managed to twist away enough to avoid full impact the mere glancing of his blow upon her armored shoulder was enough to cause her to spin out of control and before she could regain her balance she felt her gut explode in pain as Pride drove a fist into her midsection.
Gasping out her breath as she folded over his arm, before she felt his hand closed over her neck before feeling herself bodily lifted armor and all off the ground. Feebly she reached out to try to unwrap his stiff fingers from her neck but already she was slowly blacking out, the blow to her gut having sapped her strength and breath and with him preventing anymore she was already seeing black stars before darkness took her vision as her hands fell limply to her side.
Pride gently placed Sin upon the ground, making sure she was breathing after he had released his strangle hold before standing up to stare at the fallen form of his former leader. Moments dragged on before he knelt down in homage towards the woman who had held his respect and still did and but for a twist of chance was now below him, "I respect you Sin, would I rather follow your lead as you did back on the mission then Lust. Though she and I are comrades I do not respect her as I respect you Sin. Lust fights for herself, and she fights for what she wants but cannot have. You I respect for you fought for a cause you believe in even though you appear lost you follow that path with honor, It is sad we have to live our lives like this I would rather follow you again then follow one who won through guile and trickery.", with that said Pride gently lifted Sin up into his arms before standing up, and yet without turning around, "You may enter Lady Templar...our fight has been concluded."

Hearing Pride's words made her think a bit more. The Crusaders were growing even with the tactics and training the Templars forced them into. They were becoming different in subtle ways, and Pride was one of them. An from what she heard about this Lust she was another. Crusaders and Templars both were taught to fight with pride and honor not to cheat or use decisive measures regardless of whether they were losing. When she heard Pride's voice stating she could enter the room she carefully opened the doors almost taken back by the scene in front of her.
She bit her lip before shaking her head and making her way over to Pride as he held Sin. Relief flooded her when she seen that Sin was still alive. She smiled weakly as she looked up with Pride. "You fight with honor, and have rightfully won the rank you seek." She fought the urge to reach out and stroke Sin's hair. Her heart feeling a bit guilty seeing her warrior angel in such a shape, but now at least she could rest more. "Could I request your aid in carrying her to the infirmary?" With Pride's reluctant nod she couldn't help but laugh.
She followed him as he exited the room, and waited until no one was in ear shot before she spoke. "I do not blame you for despising the Templars. I do not care for the way they train soldiers, and I do not care for the way my father treats you and the others." She looked up at Sin as her head rested against Pride. He seemed to carry her with a respect and a bit more sympathy than the others would. From that point their walk seemed to be a bit more quitter than normal. She felt a bit of relief when the infirmary came into site.
When they entered the medical team was working on another Crusader who had failed in a training session. She sighed a bit and followed Pride to a bed where he set Sin down. She walked up beside the bed as he turned to leave. "Sin will not be returning to your squad." She looked back at Pride as he was heading for the door. "The Counsel has granted me the right to take Sin on as my Crusader . . . as my partner," she mumbled the last part under her breath as she turned to look at Sin. "She reminds me of a fallen Angel seeking a path to her wings. Thank you Pride for bringing her there."
She could hear his heavy footsteps leave the room. Finding a chair she pulled it up beside the bed. She was going to wait until Sin was awake. She looked back at Sin before looking down at the ground. She was going to do her best to help Sin find her father, and maybe in turn Sin could help her grow stronger to prove herself to her own father. She stood up as one of the doctors came over to check on Sin relieving her of her chest armor in order to make sure she was okay. While they attended to her Dominique had one of the other doctors look at her neck and properly dress it. Once they were done she returned to her seat beside Sin waiting for her to wake up.

For a moment Pride stood outside the infirmary door, his cocked slightly towards the side as he weighed the merits of the "Templar's" word. "She is strong in her own way like us Crusaders...but is her strength enough, we shall see shall we...", despite the bass of his voice, that last was said almost whisper quiet as he begin to proceed down the hallway. He would watch this Templar with a Crusader's eyes and see if she too had merit to be followed unlike her brother and sisters who held sway over the Crusader's fates. Though as he turned the corner another black armored form appeared, unlike him and Sin the latter though slim even with her armor on this one's form was subtle, her armor seeming to be fitted to every curve of her body as each step caused her hips to sway, the brush of ruby red hair dancing along the blackness of her armor. Pride slowed down till the flame haired crusader came up beside him, her emerald eyes the most striking of her features for they seemed to be playing with everything they saw, despite her having the same impassive face of other Crusaders.
Despite the words that were said, each of them were given voice by an almost purr, sultry despite their simpleness, and something that made Pride tense despite himself, "Sin, fight done.", cocking her head to the side, those playful emerald eyes watching Pride as he motioned his head back towards where he left, "The fight was a good one, she fought as you believed she would and had you been there you would have enjoyed it...", for a brief moment, Lust's eyes narrowed as she caught a faint tone that she did not like coming from Pride's words, and yet despite those narrowed eyes her words still had that sultry almost seductive tone to it, "Sin rank squad.", for his part Pride kept his calm, like Sin and himself he knew Lust was a trusted comrade even with their differences but he also knew she was more...unstable than the rest because of her..."view" of Sin.
Choosing his words carefully, not to protect himself but to protect the Templar he had found some merit in, "Sin is below me, and yet she is not anymore. For the Templar's have decided to leave her fate to one of their own for her...failure.", despite his own feelings Pride knew that him deeming Sin's actions as her failure would soften the idea for Lust, and as Lust's face changed very subtly he knew he did correctly as those emerald eyes became thoughtful as she tilted her head to the side before nodding, "Will go see.", with that she dismissed Pride from her thoughts as she swept past him, her hair catching fire as her hips rocked back and forth. For Pride he remained standing, his thoughts upon the Templar, he hoped she would see herself clear with Lust for unlike Sin and himself Lust would easily kill her with no thought if she thought she might be standing infront of what she wants but cannot have, and with that he resumed his trek through the corridors.
Nearing the doors of the infirmary, Lust stopped to peer through the small windows, letting her eyes wonder along the beds a smile crossing her lips at the sight of the one. Her golden hair fanned out around her head upon her pillow, and though she could not see them now she could just picture her almost sky blue eyes. Yet, frowning when her eyes noticed the circle marks along her slender neck, the white skinned marred though after a moment's thought she shrugged causing her hair to dance along her shoulders. In a way the bruises also enhance Sin's beauty to her, it was like a bruised petal of a rose though ruined it revealed how fragile that beauty was as well, she rather like that look. Yet, as she reached to open the door her eyes narrowed upon the figure of the Templar, even at a distance she could see the feelings etched onto the Templar's face as she stared at Sin, her Sin and despite herself she hissed softly as she slid into the room, her figure as always possessing the almost seductive walk as she made her way to the foot of Sin's bed, and though her eyes strayed upon the Templar, her anger slightly raised at the look she found herself unable to ignore the sight of Sin sleeping.
For a moment her mind went back to that cliff, the look upon Sin's face was so beautiful that even now she felt that pleasant heat rise up thinking of those moments before hiding them, "Templar brought Sin.", yet despite addressing the Templar, Lust found herself looking upon Sin, though she had never made a move herself upon the one she wanted and coveted she allowed herself a moment to let her eyes trace the soft curves of Sin's lips, allowing her tongue to slide along her bottom lip before turning her attention towards the Templar, and though with Pride they were playful, with the Templar they were now calculating, "Sin now yours.", and hidden within that seductive voice was a very faint tone of threat that no one could mistake as Lust's hands fell to her sides, where two long daggers rested upon her hips.

Dominique was lost in thought until she heard the voice. She looked up finding another Crusader dressed in black. But this one was different her armor was skin tight to the point it didn't look possible to move in it. Each feature of her elegant body played through her armor. She looked up to see eyes beautiful emerald eyes, and yet those eyes seemed to hold a dark secret. She pushed the thought aside as she watched her closely. Her body language and the way she looked at Sin wasn't the normal way a Crusader should think. The more she thought about it the more she realized it must have been all the Black Crusaders.
Not a single one of the acted like a Crusader. Granted there were some parts of their emotions or training that were the same. Yet out of the three she has met each one had a characteristic that set them apart from other Crusaders. An maybe it was those parts that made them one of the strongest in the group. She looked back toward Sin as she thought of this woman's tone and language. "Sin brought me here," she corrected. She looked at Lust as she realized the shift in body language and not for the pleasant.
It now dawned on her with the way this Crusader looked up Sin. She thought more of Sin than just a comrade. She had to do a double take at that thought knowing well enough Crusaders weren't even allowed to get that close, but how could one know. They were renowned at hiding or not even having emotions. So how could the Templars ever know if a Crusader fell for another. An then she asked if Sin belonged to her, and the subtle movements toward her weapons. Dominique couldn't believe what she was seeing. A Crusader would attack a Templar in front of others. She knew she didn't stand a chance, and had to defuse this situation before it got out of control.
Dominique smiled softly before looking down at Sin. She was a Templar, and all she had to do was make a simple order but some how she knew that this Crusader wouldn't follow that order. "Sin has been given to me as my guardian. An I believe they are correct in giving that order." She turned to look at Sin though her hand rested on her hilt. She knew that she couldn't stand a fight against a Crusader, but she knew she could try until someone came to help. Watching her out of the corner of her eye for any movements to be worried about she continued. "Your comrade saved my life several times in our journey here. Even with the wounds she had suffered she still fought." She sighed a bit. "We Templars are weak," she said as she looked at Lust. "You know that well enough. We need the strongest to keep us going."
She stepped away from Sin's bed in case Lust tried anything at least she knew that Sin wouldn't be hurt in the process. "Being the daughter of the head of the Counsel. They saw it fit that one of the strongest be my guardian." Granted it was a lie, but she didn't need to know the truth. "An Sin has so much potential it would be waisted being in the bottom of a command unite. At least with me she could fight equally with you on missions." She looked back at Sin for a moment. "I do not intended to take Sin away from anyone. I just need someone strong to help me where I lack strength."

It was a very minute hardening of her eyes, but Lust hissed softly and even before the Templar could react, she was behind the Templar the flat of one blade pressed against her throat while the hilt of of her other dagger was planted against the Templar's hand near the hilt of her sword, trapping it from being drawn as she pressed her body against the Templar. Pressing her cheek against the Templar's, and though she was right in one aspect she did not want to harm Sin she also didn't want to kill the Templar just yet but to speak with the Templar. Wisely the medical personal remained out of the situation, though they might report it to the other Templar's Lust knew none of them would make moves to chastise her as long as she didn't kill this particular one outright, of course there were always accidents.
Her breath hot against the Templar's skin, and despite the threat she posed to her Lust also made it seductive as she played her dagger along the throat of the Templar, its cold blade causing goosebumps to appear on the woman's skin, gone were the simple words now replaced with a throaty purr, "I do not like the thought that Sin might have died protecting you, and after having thought of losing her earlier I find myself amused to think it was you who brought her back.", pressing her blade against the Templar's neck, forcing the woman to press against Lust's body as Lust allowed herself a moment to let a single tremble course through her body.
Once more that strange throaty purr as she spoke, her lips brushing the Templar's ear, "Sin should have been mine, below me...I would rather have enjoyed that thought of her being beneath me and always near. Of course we can't always have we want can we, no Templar for now I will "let" you have Sin for now but remember I will be watching from afar, and lets say I will be very displeased if Sin might die.", smiling playfully before she let her tongue run along the slender curve of the Templar's neck, tasting a bit of her copper blood, "I now have your taste...and you taste quite good so I might pardon your insult that you are equal to me in anyway.", with a gentle laughed she pushed herself away from Domi before sheathing her daggers in a fluid motion before moving back to stand before Sin's bed, for a moment it appeared she might reach out to touch Sin before she let her hand drop to her side.
"Templar understands.", once more returning to her simple phases, gone was the deadly seductress and now in her place stood the playfulness, her green eyes playful as she gazed towards the Templar.

She never even had a chance to draw her weapon or even react to the move. In fact she didn't even realize that Lust had moved until the blade was against her neck. Her hand let go of the sword as it went to her neck. She knew she should respect and fear the Crusaders. They were always stronger than the Templars, and a lot of times even smarter. She had a respectful fear of what they were capable of doing, but never before had she down right out feared a Crusader. She looked up at Sin as her she heard the shuffling behind her. One of the medical staff was going for the phone now that everything seemed to be cleared.
"Stand down," she ordered catching herself by surprise as well as the others. She didn't expect herself to sound so strong given the situation that just happened, but the thought of her father finding out scared her more than Lust's blades. "Do not inform anyone of the situation that just happened." When no one answered she glared at the them. "I will have each of you removed if this word gets out . . . do I make myself clear." Each of them nodded before a resounding yes echoed through the room.
She wasn't protecting Lust or Sin from her father finding out. She was protecting herself at this moment. She knew exactly what her father would say and do considering the situation, and she wasn't about to let him find out. She looked at Lust as her voice turned back to it's child like demeanor. She nodded her understanding, but there was nothing she could do. She looked back at Sin for a moment. "I'm not going to let her die for my sake," she mumbled under her breath. She never intended on her dying for her sake.
Regardless of Lust being in the room Dominique found herself having to sit down. Finding the chair once again she found her hand drifting to her neck. The words that this Crusader has spoken were not like the words before. She knew quite well how to play with individuals, and yet she also knew when she wanted to be serious. Though as her words echoed through her head she couldn't help but worry about what they meant. She looked at Sin again, and couldn't help but find her eyes drifting to Lust. An still she couldn't believe the fear she could gain from just a single Crusader. Where her father had always told her that they were the ones to fear, but if he even knew the slight possibility of what they were capable of then he would fear them as well.

Lust stood her eyes gazing at Sin with an almost lustful gaze, which she also eyed the Templar as well after her outburst, licking her lips the taste of the Templar's blood still upon them she found herself quite pleased, though the outcome wasn't what she wanted it appeared it might be vastly better than she could have wanted. With a final look at the Templar, memorizing her face and finding in it the same type of beauty that Sin possessed she found herself liking this outcome better as she turned around. Her hips swaying, her leather clad form slipping through the doors. Yes, Lust found she definitely enjoyed this outcome far more than she could have thought, and with the addition of the Templar she found it quite enthralling. In truth with the addition of the Templar she found herself looking forward to their next meet, and especially about more contact as unlike Sin she found the Templar easy to...it was hard to describe but Sin was inviolate in a way which made her beauty so tempting, with the Templar she was...different. Smiling to herself playfully, her green eyes sparkling she would have to chat with Pride later to learn about his reaction to this Templar, of course the rest she would ignore the only ones mattered in their circle was Pride and herself and formerly Sin. With a turn she vanished down the corridor that would lead her to the area where Seraph squad called their own.
Meanwhile, Sin started stirring from her sleep, disturbed by a feeling of Dominique being in trouble. Forcing her eyes opened she found herself staring up at the white lights of the infirmary causing her to lift her arm up to shield her eyes till they adapted to their brightness. "Lady Templar...are you there...", through her voice was harsh, and raspy it still held a note of its melody as she finally brought her arm away from her eyes to look around the room till her gaze fell upon the one she sought, feeling vastly relieved to see her whole though troubled by something. Yet, as she became fully aware, she was also confused as to why Dominique was there, her last memory was of Pride strangling her and the knowledge that she was now of a lesser rank than when the night started.
With some effort she managed to prop herself onto her elbows, still light headed from the fight she weakly slide herself forward, her body pushing the pillow against the head rest before letting herself lean against it before folding her hands upon her lap. For a moment she felt shame burning her when she realized that once again appearing in such a weakened condition before banishing the thought aside before turning her head to look towards Dominique, her golden hair shining from the light, her blue eyes thoughtful.
Her voice stronger than before, its melody stronger, "Lady Templar why are you here, have you word brought to you of my punishment from the Counsel?", despite her demotion with the ranks of the Seraph she knew that wasn't a true punishment, it was more of a weighing of abilities among peers while her true punishment was weighed by those stationed above herself. As the moment stretched, not knowing why Dominique looked so troubled, Sin found herself feeling that strange emotion that welled from somewhere in her chest and hurt, her melodious voice containing a faint sorrow, "You are leaving aren't you...", once again she felt like a hand was squeezing her heart, once again she felt the same when Simon told her he was leaving, "I am sorry for failing you Lady Templar this night, though I am glad we got to meet and for a moment hearten by your words.", looking back towards Dominique, Sin gave her a very trembling smile something she saw Dominique use often and though it was weak it was a genuine effort, "I am glad I got to serve your even for so short of a time.", her smile crumbling before looking way to stare down at her cupped hands within her lap, her golden hair falling, hiding her face from view.

It took Dominique a minute to grasp what Sin was asking, and even longer before she could think of something to say. She didn't want to tell her about the other Black armored Crusader and what had happened. She didn't know how Sin would react or if she would even believe her. Regardless of what they had been through over the past night she had never truly battled side by side with Sin over a long period of time. She had not earned that bond between soldiers that brought them together as a family. An she didn't know if Sin and the others thought of themselves that way. She wasn't going to take that chance. She wasn't going to tell Sin what had happened, because she didn't lose her.
Though the look she had gotten from Sin seemed that she had made up her own mind about being left. Dominique straightened herself up and smiled lightly at Sin. "Do not worry yourself. In fact you do not have to worry about being punished for anything as long as I live." She stood up and walked to the bed. "I will not let another Templar lay their hand on you ever again. Sin," she paused for a moment before looking around the room more or less to make sure there was no unwanted guest listening in. "I have spoken with the Counsel, and that have granted my wish." Her smile grew. "I am sorry you lost in battle, but maybe there was divine intervention. If you would have gained rank then I would have been very sad to take you away from your team."
"You see Sin. You and I can now be partners." She heard a snort from one of the medical staff in the room. She turned to glare at him. "I fore warn you. I can be a wonderful person to get along with, but I am also my father's daughter. You do not want to cross my path," she growled. The room quickly grew quite and Dominique turned her attention back toward Sin. "An as for what is troubling me I'm trying to figure out where to start looking for your father." She paused as she turned and sat back down on the chair. "I just don't know where to begin." It wasn't the truth on what was really troubling her, but it also wasn't a lie.
Though there was something else that did bother her. She wondered how long her father would actually give her and Sin before he would send them out on another mission. She hopped that it would be long enough for Sin to finally be back up on her feet. Even though with a little bit of rest she was stronger she wondered what she was truly capable of doing when she was back to her full capacity. "Sin, why don't you rest for now. We can work on finding your father once you are fully back up on your feet. Do not worry I'm not going anywhere if I can help it. I finally gained you as my Crusader, and I do not plan on losing you either." She paused for a moment before continuing. "Though we are going to have to work on that 'Lady Templar' thing."

Sin was startled from that crushing feeling when Dominique told her the news, and for a moment she couldn't move or think as she stared at her trembling hands within her lap. She didn't lose Dominique and she would have a chance to find Simon through her, despite her many flaws as a Crusader or failing so much during the night. It felt like a reward but she knew that she was now being tested as she let herself fall back onto the bed, Dominique's words of letting her rest fully to gain her strength. "I understand Lady Templar...and forgive me for the term I am but a lowly Crusader.", smiling faintly as she had seen Dominique do before turning her gaze to stare towards Dominique, "I will try to fulfill your expectation of me and if I fail I will gladly put my life in order to save your own.", still smiling before letting herself fall further back into the pillow, "But I must do it as a true Crusader...", and despite herself she found her eye lids growing heavy before long she was asleep again.

Dominique couldn't help but smile when she watched Sin fall asleep again. At least she would be able to get a change of clothing and armor. Once she was sure that sin was fully asleep she stood up and made her way out of the infirmary. Looking around to get her barrings to get to the armory for the Templars. As she made her way to the armory she couldn't help but wonder why the Counsel was even here to begin with. She knew this base was close to the Fort where the original fight was suppose to take place, but they didn't need the Counsel here for that fight. They could always communicate over the satellite link if they needed to get in touch with the Counsel.
Her father was up to something, but she didn't know quite what it was. An then there was Serga she did know if he really showed himself, but then again she was quite sure he did. Sin wasn't telling her what had happened in the woods, but the only way she could have treated her neck was because someone else was there. Something was up, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. She shook her head as she entered into the armory finding a set of clothing and kevlar armor that would fit her.
As she finished changing the door to the armory opened as another Templar entered the room. "Laurance, your father wishes to see you in the Counsel Chambers as soon as possible."
She nodded as she gathered up the rest of her armor and put it on as she made her way to the Chambers. As she reached them the doors were wide open waiting for her to enter. Once inside the doors were shut. Her father was the first to enter the room followed by the rest of the Counsel each taking a seat. Dominique bowed out of respect to the individuals in front of her, and then stood up. She was at least glade that she looked a bit more presentable this time around.
"As I am sure you ware aware of your Crusader's task before you two crossed paths," Richard, her father, begin. With Dominique's nod he continued. "Currently three Black armored Crusaders have gone missing. There original task was to gather Intel into what had happened at the former Cursader's base." He paused to glare at one of the Counsel members before looking at her. "It is imperative that we finish gathering this Intel, and in turn if you are to find these Crusader's alive bring them back . . . . losing a single Black armored Crusader is devastating to the order," he said adding a bit of sarcasm to the last part.
"We expect you to leave as soon as your Crusader is back up on her feet," the woman from before spoke. She nodded her head toward Dominique. "We would send an army in, but that has been done by our best Crusaders. We have seen the out come of that, and believe it is best that a two person team would be easier to sneak by and hide within the shadows. Good luck to you and your Crusader."
"Hope she lives longer than the others," Richard said before standing up. He left the chambers followed by the other members.
Dominique sighed and shook her head. Her father never seemed to want her to have anything good. She let out a breath before making her way back to the infirmary. Entering into the room she found Sin still fast asleep on the bed. Her golden hair plastered around her face. She couldn't help but smile at the angel she was finally given to be her partner. Walking over she took her seat up again right next to the bed waiting for her to wake up once more.

In time Sin awoke once more, feeling far better for the sleep and the medical attention she received during her stay within the infirmary since first when she set out upon her mission with her squad at her back. Sitting up she let her muscles loosen up before sliding off the bed, her bare feet touching the smooth floor and though her legs felt weak at first they gained their strength as she walked around the bed to get her muscles loosened up as she stopped in front of Dominique, touched that she had stayed with her though concerned that she too should have slept as well before performing a quick bow. "Excuse me Lady Templar I must return to the Seraph's area, though I feel rested I must attend to my mediation within my chambers before I can return to full duty.", straightening Sin made her way out of the ward, her bare feet making a soft noise as she moved through the corridors before taking a turn that led her into the rooms of Seraph, a faint sound of music drifting through the air lifted her spirits higher as she nodded to several members of the squad who were going about their own duties, from Gluttony who was busy reading one of the books she so craved to Greed who despite being within the base was still wearing the Seraph's unique helmet that obscured their face before she reached the door to her room, with little hesitation she entered her sanctuary her eyes taking her newly polished armor already set upon its holder before closing the door behind her.
With practiced ease she sat upon the floor of her room, which was once Simon's which was filled with nothing but books and through she read what she could there were many she couldn't read as she reached out to draw his cross from underneath her shirt before retrieving the half empty jar of black licorice. Holding the cross within one hand as she ate a piece of the black candy, enjoyed the taste as she did back when he gave her the first piece all those years ago Sin allowed herself to relax within the room that still held a trace of Simon-though she had moved in some of her things like her armor and weapons, Pride having already dropped off her new sword, she had kept most of the items that were once Simon's in their place only moving them simply to hold them. It was here that she felt most at peace surrounded by the items that she grew up with and always watching him handle them from the stories to the lesson planners that still rested where he left them. Most who would enter would find it disturbing but to her it was what everyone else had a place they could retreat to when feeling lost or when they must gather their strength for what may come.
"Simon, I will earn the right to return to your side so you may once again teach me what a true Crusader should be...and to prove I can be one.", finishing the candy she once more returned it to its place upon the end table next the table before getting from the floor as she once more placed the cross beneath her shirt so she could feel its wood against her skin. Noticing she was still unclean Sin quickly undressed before entering the small bathroom that was a privelege to some but something that she never thought made her different it was once Simon's as she quickly showered before taking care of her other needs. In seconds she was once more dressed in a black shirt and pants that clung to her like a second skin before she started putting her armor on, first the shin guards and thigh guards followed by the wrist guards and forearm guards as she snapped the chest guard on before finally placing the shoulder guards upon her shoulders. Reaching out she took the weapon belt for her Vector, making sure it carried several clips and that there was one within it already before she looped her new sword and its own belt around her hips on the other side of the Vector.
Finally she once more boot on her boots, their tough leather reinforced by thin steel plates before she finally straightened to let yer eyes wander around the room. Drawing that hidden strengthen from the items within that would always empower her to always try to earn the right to have Simon teaching her again. With that look she left the room heading back towards Dominique. as she was striding down the hall she nearly bumped into Lust. Stopping before giving Lust a nod, before side stepping away from the red haired woman who kept her eyes glued on her as she vanished around the corner, before she too went her way to sneak into Sin's room.
