Is this the right way...is what Dominique says the path I should follow...Simon what would you have advise...what would you have told to me...what story should I draw from in order to see my way clear through. I desperately want to follow Dominique, her light is so soft so warm...she was like your light Simon within the darkness that I have felt for so long stranded within., with a sigh, her hand reaching up to rest two fingers upon the smooth wooden cross, Sin didn't know what path she should follow, and though others might curse what Simon and Dominique had done to them, Sin instead felt like their presences had moved her along a path that she still could not quite yet see. Letting her back rest against the pillow that was still propped up against the head rest of her bed, Sin allowed herself for a moment to feel that strange feeling, it felt like floating when Dominique told her she was perfect. It was a pleasant feeling, something Simon made her feel with simple actions and now Dominique did it through words as her eyes roamed around the room, and for a moment she let them rest upon a row of book shelves that lined one wall. These were the books whose stories Simon read to her and yet she could not real herself, written in some form that eluded her, Perhaps I should ask Dominique if she could read them..., it was a pleasant thought to hear those stories again that she allowed herself a small smile before getting out of the bed.
Though her body still ached, it was more of stiff muscles instead of fiery pain, a fire that had grown chilled as she went about getting dressed. Yet, as she was lacing up her boots, in preparation of only putting on her breast plate, there came a knock upon her door. It was such a strange occurrence, though it was her private room most of Seraph squad would have entered without preamble she froze a moment before standing up her hand reaching out to grab her sword before letting it rest within the sheath upon her hip. So clad in her usual black shirt and pants with black boots Sin made her way to the door, and within moments opened to see who it was, for a brief moment she felt that slight heady feeling for it might have been Dominique.
Yet as they were Templar's none of them were Dominique, and all of them had their weapons out the guns though not actively aimed at her did not leave that they couldn't be suddenly drawn upon her as the lead one, a woman who was older than Dominique strode forward, "Crusader Sin0048D42, you have been requested to appear before the head Templar of this base in regards to your past performance upon the field. We request that as Templars that you will obey and fulfill any punishment or obligation that is mete out as per your oath and vow as a Crusader.", though the words were strict, the woman couldn't hide the slight tremble of fear that shifted and moved along her words, nor could the other Templar's behind her hide that emotion from their faces-yet Sin who had no definition of fear didn't see the signs instead she simply bowed, her golden hair falling to hide her face before straightening.
"I swear as the tool and implement of the Crusaders I shall accompany thy blessed company with my meek self.", with that she stepped forward, the leader moving ahead as the other four closed ranks around Sin, their weapons though not holstered most still had their hands upon them as the group proceeded through the hall ways as quickly as possible before any other crusaders witnessed the procession. Yet despite their speed, and the one viewer's tendency to keep her eyes half closed, Sloth watched the group move through the hall way, the package of food she was holding forgotten as she watched this new development. "Leon will want to be informed of this...and I owe Wrath a cake...", with a soft mumble Sloth dropped the package of food before sliding back down the corridor towards Leon quarters.
Walking within the folds of the Tempalrs, Sin though she expressed no emotion upon her face-those brilliant blue eyes betraying nothing, and yet beneath that placid lake was turmoil. I promise no matter how flawed I am...I will prove myself to Dominique...not matter what I must do to make amends for my failures..., there was no hesitation in her that she was walking towards her punishment, the only time Templars would escort a Crusader was fully armed towards a punishment, though Sin didn't realize the reason for her punishment was something altogether different, instead she was bracing herself not to fail herself or Dominique when the punishment was inflicted upon her. So engrossed she was within her own thoughts she didn't see the reactions of those they passed, not the Templar's open look of fear upon seeing her so guarded or the weapon that hung around her hip so easily, nor the Crusaders the goldened armored ones and grey armored ones. In later there was a look of respect upon seeing her, acknowledging one of their superiors but also realizing they were all peers.
So it was with a strange detail that followed the group, the crusaders making the Templars nervous till they reached the safety of their area, the crusaders stopping there though standing as the party vanished around a corner.
With a sigh, the relief audible, the leader of the Templar's opened the door that led into Richard's area, Sin following her with two of her fellow Templars to stand in front of Richard. For a moment, a very brief moment Sin's mask cracked for a moment a look of concern passing briefly upon her face seeing the taxed look Dominique had upon her face, or the marks upon her throat that for the tiniest of moments made Sin's hand clench. Even that tiny movement was noticed by the Templars as several of them had their hands upon their guns before Richard waved, and though they fell back most of them still had their eyes focused on Sin.
Yet, as Sin turned her gaze towards the head Templar, she realized that this man was Dominique's father and yet were as Dominique seemed to cast out a light, this man...it felt like only darkness seemed to emit from him as he gave a sharp look towards Dominique who looked away. Sin not understanding the action, and for a brief moment she felt despair realizing that Dominique would be forced to watch her punishment...those kind words, those thoughts would make this unbearable for her Sin thought...she would not crack in order to spare Dominique seeing her break.
With a voice filled with contempt, "Crusader Sin0048D42, you have been found wanting in regards to the field report that has been issued in regards to your performance, and though the Lord blessed you with only of his children...", his eyes glancing towards Dominique whose face paled, before returning his focus towards Sin, "..this blessed child had received numerous wounds dealt upon her body from your lack of protecting her. We find this less than what an average Crusader should be able to do especially as we are discussing the performance of a Black Armored one.", remaining silent, her eyes impassive as the man spoke, and though her heart felt each word as if it were a dagger, she refused to break, "Whats more....many of our Red Armored Crusaders had died in their duty protecting her on her missions, and though they had died she had come back to us unscathed from each of her missions. Yet...", sweeping his arms out, as he gazed towards Sin, "...and yet upon meeting you one of our advanced, nay one of our special crusaders and she nearly died several times through the night while you lived.", yet from the condemning figure Richard softened his face and appeared as the kindly, understanding as he continued, "Yet, after some thought I found it was my personal emotions that clouded my mind about that night, and admittedly it was never planned and unlook for considering your squad did complete their mission with your assistance during a crucial moment.", with an almost fatherly look as his eyes surveyed all those in the room , many of the Templars nodding their heads.
Yet, his eyes hardened as he turned his gaze back towards Sin, "Yet, upon a mission you briefed about and suitably prepared for I allowed you to become my daughter's crusader thinking this would be a good way to see how the two of you worked when the mission was simple.", even as Sin quailed, she refused to let herself break as she stood emotionless, yet the words that followed hammered upon her, "...nothing was achieved on this mission, whats more you failed to give your life in protecting your charge and when she returned she she...", unable to continue Richard fell back to lean against his desk, "To think...I thought...no no more thinking, considering the rest of your squad came away with not a scratch and my daughter was wound terribly I find that I must punish you severely for this...yet how must I punish you...", for a moment Richard looked carefully towards Sin, annoyed that she hadn't broken when his eyes fell upon the wooden cross that Sin had not hidden beneath her shirt...he knew that cross, and for a moment rage filled him as he reached out snatching up the cross in his hand and pulling till the rope snapped.
Yet, he didn't expect Sin's reaction from losing the cross the mask crumbling as the crusader reached out tenatively towards the cross, "Please...please can...can I have it...back...", and for a brief moment Richard felt surprise, his eyes snapping towards the Crusader reaching out towards the cross and holding back her blue eyes filled with pleading. Amazing..., his eyes straying towards the cross, and within the wood was a set of initials and a symbol.
"Since you must be punished, you have lost the right to wear such a holy symbol such as this...", his eyes lifting to look at the fireplace, a fire burning within as he smiled, "Perhaps...this demostration will prove to be enlightening to you...", turning his back from Sin, he didn't see two of his Templars wrap their arms around her, and yet they barely held her back as she moved slowly forward her hand outstretched towards the cross as Richard drew his hand back.

Dominique’s eyes grew wide as she seen Richard grab the cross. From time to time she had seen Sin caress it as if she was seeking guidance. It took her a while to figure out that someone special had given it to her, and that person would have been her father. An now it was about to be destroyed. Richard was about to punish Sin for his own mistakes. Gripping her sword tightly she stopped before standing up. Making her way toward her father none of the other Templars even attempting to intervene, and probably believed that she was stepping up to watch. She was stepping up, but to watch wasn’t her actions. She stood just a hair bit in front of Richard as she looked at the burring flames that would destroy the artifact within a matter of seconds. It would destroy something that was dearest to her friend, and there was something she could do.
“Sin . . . isn’t a monster.”
Richard looked up a bit surprised that Dominique was even standing at his side. He shook his head as he looked at the fire. “You don’t get it do you? They were conditioned to be monsters, and sacrifice in this war to save the world. As long as the future head of the Templars feels an emotional bond toward these creatures then the Templars will fall.”
“Then let them.” She growled as she brought her elbow back striking him in the face. As he staggered back it gave her time to snatch the cross from his hand, and quickly pocket it. Richard shook of the shock of his daughters own attack. He started to approach her with his sword drawn, but Dominique wasn’t about to take her father on in a fight she knew she would lose. Instead she drew one of her guns and pointed it at him. This was low even for a Templar, but she had to do what she could. “Why do you fear me so much . . . why do you fear me having Sin as my friend?”
Richard laughed as he held out his arms. “I do not fear you child. You are beneath me as is everyone here. I have worked hard to bring this organization up to where it’s at. I will not allow you to change it because of your bleeding heart.” He gripped his sword as he moved toward Dominique.
“It’s already changing,” but still with the threat of the gun Richard continued to move closer. “Stay away from me,” she barked.
“Or what . . . you’ll shoot?” Richard laughed as he waved his free hand in the air. “You’re not a cold blooded murder. You have to much honor to fight dirty.”
Dominique knew he was right. She didn’t have it in herself to shoot him even known everything he had done and could do. As she lowered the gun Richard rushed forward swinging his sword, maybe he was trying to make a point or he finally gave in to the need to killer her because the swing was high and quick. She didn’t give it a second thought as a reaction her sword was already out of its sheath and with a single hand blocking the powerful attack. Quickly holstering her gun she grabbed the hilt of the sword with both hands as Richard swung again. An again she blocked. Each attack of his was powerful where she relied more on her agility because she was smaller. He taught her everything even after school she was forced to train more, and he knew everything about her. That made this harder, and it seemed that the more he swung the more he forced her back.
This fight was a losing fight, and it would be only a matter of time before she couldn’t take one of his swings. His attacks where quick and deliberate always offensive and never defensive. He wasn’t allowing her to come out of her defensive stance long enough to make an attack of her own. An then she heard it . . . the reason he kept attacking so hard. The soft but loud cracking sound of her blade. The stress for taking so many strong attacks was finally wearing on it until one of his attacks completely shattered the blade snapping it in half. Dominique stumbled back only to have a foot shoved into her stomach knocking her against the wall. Then there was a stabbing pain that caused her to cry out. Richard had taken his sword and jammed the blade into her hand and into the wall. As he still held the hilt of his sword with one hand he gripped her neck and slammed her head into the wall.
“This is the difference between us. I will go to any lengths to get a task done. I have set everything up within the order for you to take over, and you are willing to throw it away.” He tightened his hand on her neck as he spoke. “If I have to punish you and take you within an inch of your life each time until you learn then I will do so. I will not have a child of mine running around disrespecting or trying to tear apart this order.”
Dominique couldn’t breathe anymore and the world grew dark, but unlike the last time he didn’t let go. Not until she completely passed out. He pulled his sword free in order to drag Dominique’s body to the center of the room and let her go. He turned to look at the broken sword that his daughter had carried for over 10 years and let out a heavy sigh. He then glared at Sin as she stood in front of him. “My daughter has never raised a weapon against me before. She has spoken out against me, but I can deal with that. Never before . . .” he trailed off as he looked down at her, before turning to glare at Sin once more. “This is your fault!” he screamed before throwing his hands in the air. “She is so easily manipulated, and everyone seems to take advantage of that.” He shook his head as he knelt down and stroked her cheek. “So what do you have to say for yourself Crusader?”

Sin fell, it was the feeling back when she fell from the cliff and feeling of weightlessness when she felt the cross tugged from her, the feel of the rope sawing at the back of her neck before snapping. Falling inside as everything narrowed as she focused on the wooden cross, desperate to have it back, it was her link to him and all those moments she couldn't lose it as well. Not evening realizing she spoke or how meek and frail her voice sounded as she reached out towards the cross, it was her world, her center as she took a step forward and feeling weight pressing down upon her as she took an another agonizing step forward. Richard ignorant of what his demonstration was causing did not see how much his Templar's struggled to hold Sin back and yet she was only a few feet away from him being held back by the Templar's their faces white with the exertion.
Sin didn't have a clue of what she would, just knowing she had to get the cross back as her hand reached out forward, her body leaning forward as those holding her tried to pull her back, So close...its so close..., and yet so far away that she wouldn't reach it in time when Richard prepared to throw it Dominique came into view, the relief Sin felt when she saw Dominique saving her cross that she had no thoughts towards the feeling that blossomed within her as she suddenly stopped causing several of the Templar's to stumble before regaining their feet, their hands pulling out their guns and yet now their gazes were turned towards Dominique and Richard.
Sin though was watching the fight with confusion, Dominique drawing her gun upon her father, and the pride she felt when Dominique put her weapon and fought with honor-something that Simon stressed the most when telling her those stories, to hold something dear if its a principal or and ideal never forsake that. So it was with her heart beating fast as she watched Dominique fight, and the heat that built up when Sin watched Richard strangle Dominique till she passed out, no one who carried such a light such ideal and words she be treated so basely. Her eyes straying towards the torn cords of her necklace, an image of Simon coming to mind and words he told her, Crusaders, the true ones would fight even against the tyranny of their own organization it wasn't for the group but for the people they stood upon those embanketments so long ago...to fight for that ideal.., and though Sin did not yet know her own ideal she knew that Dominique fought for her own...she would fight with Dominique in order for Dominique's ideal to be defended.
Within Sin that day something broke, or perhaps something was set free for a moment within herself, and so when Richard asked her what she would say for herself Sin knew her answer. Before the Templar's could react, Sin had draw her sword-the sound of metal sliding free loud in the air as she twisted about striking the man to her left with the flat of her blade, and though it wasn't the edge the blow was hard to cause blood to poor from the head wound. With her free hand she reached out to grab the Templar who led the group, fingers wrapping around her neck before lifting the woman off the ground, Sin's blue eyes blazing an eerily bright blue before tossing the woman through the air into the wall, her form crumpling as she twisted around her sword flying in the air.
Richard's sword blocking the attack, and yet though the attack was a feint he fell back a step as Sin pressed forward, her cold blue eyes staring into his own before stepping back her sword held at the ready, Richard remaining in a guarded position as his eyes looked around the room to see his guards crumpled before returning Sin's cool gaze with his own red hot burning glare, "You have trained me to fight for the Templar's, I have been bred to be a weapon...", lowering her sword her eyes remaining upon Richard, "...a weapon to be used by a Templar, and a Templar has chosen me for her weapon. That is what I say for myself...I am Dominique's weapon, her will guides me...her passion draws me...from here we are one as a weapon and its wielder.", her voice turning those words into a hymn almost as she sheathed her sword before walking towards Dominique, her eyes finally leaving Richard to look tenderly towards Dominique.
Carefully as not to jumble her, and mindful of her awful wound through her hand, Sin gently picked up Dominique till she cradled her within her arms, her head resting upon her shoulder as Sin's golden hair seemed to blanket Dominique in a shimmering veil of gold. As she turned she looked towards Richard, her voice still melodious, "Simon told me...he told me that I would be a weapon...but a glorious weapon in the right hands...I have chosen your daughter's hands to wield me..and I will defend her even from her own father...rest assured I will not leave your daughter's side willingly.", with that said Sin exited the room, cradling Dominique within her arms heading for the infirmary.
Yet from another corridor Leon held his arm up forestalling Sloth and Wrath who had their weapons, and several others before shaking his head, "It looks like our sleeping beauty has finally awoken...though never thought it would have been from a princess.", with a final look towards the retreating Sin, Leon motioned for his team to fall back for now, since they wouldn't play their hand so soon apparently.
Sin meanwhile walked straight, she had made a decision...and though she still quailed at the thought of what she did, her eyes would look upon Dominique and know that she would follow her to hell if she must...and she would give her soul gladly if it meant she would save Dominique, that was her purpose.

‘Richard will always test you,’ she could remember her mother telling her. ‘He will try to turn you into something you’re not. You must remain strong, because if you were to fall so would everyone else.’ The smile was one of kindness and warmth. She always carried a smile regardless of how awful Richard had treated her. ‘You must promise me that if you ever lose your way that you will find how to come back.’ After that she had gone to see Richard, and the next thing she knew her whole world had fell around her. Yet when she recalled her mother talking about Richard to her she always said his name, and not ‘your father’ or ‘your dad.’ It always felt like she was ashamed of being married to this man, but she couldn’t blame her. In fact may times she had wondered why she had ever married him. Her mother could have done a lot better, but she had chosen him. Though she knew she should be grateful for being alive, she wasn’t. Somewhere deep inside she whole heartedly wished that she had married someone else. At least then she would be happy and many others possibly along the way.
When she thought about Sin though she seemed to want to change her mind, and change the way she was thinking. She knew she had lost her way to the point that she was even lying to herself. An then came along Sin, and she had a drive once more. A drive to change a want to be what she wanted to, granted it took some harsh words from Leon to even make that push. Sin was pure in so many ways, and more pure than any human could ever thing about. From her looks to her personality there was no mistaken that someone else had a help in her upbringing besides humans. An it was the thought of Sin being an Angel sent by God as a sign for her to awaken to the truth around her. Sin seemed to have brought back the feeling she had lost when Serga had left her. Dominique shifted slightly in Sin’s arm her hand brushing against her armor.
Feeling the hot searing pain that radiated from the wound through her arm caused her to gasp and jerk awake. It took her a moment to come to terms that she was even awake. Everything was just a haze as her eyes tried to adjust to the lighting in the hall. It took her even longer to realize that she was being carried. She looked up to see the young beautiful, but yet impassive, face of Sin as she carried her down the hall. The lights from above seemed to shine off her golden hair as if her body was glowing with a warm light. Dominique couldn’t help but smile as she rested her head against Sin’s shoulder once more nestling her head as she found herself comfortable in Sin’s grasp. It was strong and yet she somehow managed to be gentle in the way she carried her. In fact the longer that Sin held onto her the harder it was to fight back tears of the prior event or any event. It was like the times when Serga held her when her father would strike her or cut her down. But she was older now, and she knew she had to be strong. Though the longer Sin held onto her the harder it was becoming. She found herself burring her face into Sin’s shoulder and found herself surprised at her sweet scent even when she didn’t we are any perfume. She smiled tiredly as she closed her eyes.
She couldn’t help but think about what she had done in her father’s office. The actions were far beyond what she had ever done. Of course she had spoken up against his actions, but never before had she ever drawn a weapon on him. An yet there wasn’t a since of despair in her action, but one more of pleasure. Granted she had lost the fight, but there was a bit of weight lifted off her shoulders knowing that she could go to great lengths to stand up against him. For her entire life he had dominated her telling her that she would amount to no good, and that she had failed as a Templar in many ways. The moment she had pulled her gun on him she found that a weight had lifted off her shoulders. She remembered a brief glance toward Sin as she held her cross in her hand. It was because of her she found courage to stand up against the one person who scared her the most. Though she knew her actions today would start something totally different than what her father had planned for her. She could still change the organization, but now it would be harder. An she could only imagine what her father was planning on doing next, and even that thought scared her as she thought about Sin.
Though she found the comfort of Sin’s arms had disappeared forcing her awake only to find herself lying on a bed in the infirmary. She looked around frantically until she seen Sin walking over to her bed. She smiled and rested her head back on the pillow as a nurse walked over and started to wrap her hand to stop the bleeding for the time being. “The doctor will be in shortly to tend to your hand. The wound is pretty bad,” she said as she finished wrapping it. “I will warn you there will probably be some nerve damage.”
Dominique shrugged her shoulders. “It was worth it,” she said lightly as she maneuvered slightly to reach into her right pocket to pull out the cross. She held it up to Sin as the nurse walked away. “I think we’re going to have to get you a new chain, and I don’t think it was damaged,” she said lightly as she placed the cross in her hand. “I’m so sorry my father tried to hurt you.” Shifting she forced herself to sit up on the bed. She felt pain course through her body and could only laugh at the cause of it. “I never thought I would have the courage to do something like that, but seeing you . . . seeing you like that I knew I had to do something. I didn’t want you to suffer or hurt anymore because my father was mad at me.” She looked at Sin and smiled as she reached out to take her hand. “Sin,” she said lightly as she looked at the doctor who approached. She knew him quite well, and didn’t care for him either.
“What are you doing here?” she growled slightly before she realized she was squeezing Sin’s hand tightly. “I thought you had transferred out of this facility.”
“I did . . . I did,” he said as he brought up a tray with surgical utensils. “The other day your father asked me to postpone my transfer since you seemed to be getting hurt a lot.” He looked up at Sin before looking back at her. “So this is the new trouble you’ve gotten yourself into?” He asked as started to remove the wrapping from her hand.
“Best trouble I’ve ever gotten into,” she said with a grin. “I want to request a different doctor to do this.”
He shook his head as he removed the rest of the bandage and lifted up her hand to look at it. “No can do. Your father personally requested me to take a look,” he said as he started pressing on the wound.
Dominique flinched and held back a cry as he touched her hand. “Aren’t you suppose to numb it first,” she said with a heavy breath. He shrugged his shoulders he continued to test the nerves in her hand. “Answer me!” she growled.
He let her hand go and sighed as he pushed the tray away. “No. Your father specifically told me to use no anesthetics on you. Call it a punishment for your outburst in his room.”
“You have no balls,” she laughed slightly as she looked at him. “None of you have any balls to stand up to him.” She shook her head before looking at him. “If you’re not going to be a doctor then get out of my sights. Your oath as a doctor should come above all else.”
He slid the cart across the room causing it to slam into a table and knock over. “Fine with me. I’m not the one who could lose the hand, and your gifted ability as an archer.”
Dominique snorted. “That man hasn’t let me pick up a bow in the past three years and you know it.”
“And the daggers?”
“I have my left hand. Remember I can use both,” she grinned as he threw his hands up in the air. “Have a good day, and don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.” With that he slammed the door shut behind him. None of the nurses in the room moved for a moment, and after they were sure that the doctor was long gone they went about their work. Another nurse coming back to rewrap her hand, and disappeared into a back room. Dominique finally let go of Sin’s hand as she went to cradle her own. She hung her head and laughed a bit but she knew she was also fighting the urge back to cry. “He was a doctor hired by my father to specifically tend to those who are important in my father’s eyes. He was once a doctor before the outbreak, but then for a couple of years he was placed under a special team in the Templars to torture those they caught from Umbrella and all those other organizations in order to find out information.” She shook her head as she looked up. “He’s a good doctor to my father. Does everything he says and could care less about his oath.”

Sin sat quietly, though she felt the warmth of the cross within her hand, the feelings that seemed to grow when Dominique returned it to her...it felt pleasant as she simply sat and listened to Dominique speak. Yet, when the man caused Dominique pain her hand tightened slightly upon the hilt of her sword, her blue eyes growing hard as she viewed an unclean touching and causing pain to her chosen templar. Though Dominique was finding out more of her father's machinations there was something that he had held sway over all the non-templar personel, the knowledge it was only the Templar's who held the Crusaders at bay from eliminating them, and though Sin had slowly started breaking free from that idea through Dominique's and Simon's kindness she could not help herself when one of the unclean caused her pain. It was Dominique's presence that calmed her and later her words when Dominique forced the man to leave as a woman wrapped her hand up. Though Sin frowned at Dominique's statement of the man failing to uphold his oath, the reason of he was it was an unfamiliar idea for her as a Crusader her oath was sacred, when given she would give her very life to ensure she never failed her oath.
Folding her hands within her lap, the cross wrapped within her fingers as she looked towards Dominique, her lake clear eyes puzzled as she replied, "Then how can be a good doctor if he broke his oath, is it not an oath that ties a person to what they are as a Crusader takes an oath to be a weapon for a Templar if we break such an oath we become lesser a tool without purpose, trash...", lowering her gaze, golden hair framing her face as she stared at her folded hands, "I too broke my oath tonight...I turned my weapon against the head Templar, that would make me a flawed weapon, a broken weapon to be discarded. As a Crusader my oath is everything...and yet I broke it in order to fulfill my other oath...this conflicts in what I am...a flawed weapon...a Crusader..", lifting her gaze to stare towards Dominique, her blue eyes clear, free of puzzlement, "But I swore to uphold my oath to the Templar that would wield me and has chosen me as her weapon...my purpose follows that oath to be your weapon...in case you can't wield a weapon, you may wield me as your weapon against your foes.", without looking away she stared in Dominique's eyes, those blue eyes revealing her dedication to Dominique before lowering her gaze to peer at her hands.
For a few moments Sin remained quite, not sure of what to say, that outburst seemed so random and yet felt right as she instead lifted her gaze to look around the room. Many of the nurses avoided looking at her, yet when she caught a few looking at her their eyes filled with an emotion, a widening of their eyes and slight paling of their skin before turning away and yet twisting around to look real quick before turning away and busy themselves with something random.
Sin found these actions, confusing as her gaze drifted over the faces, how hands seemed more tensed upon their instruments, the low whispers of conversations, "...what is the deal with that...thing....she came in one night with so many wounds...now look at her as if....they are inhuman....thank god for the Templars...". confused at the comments, though her face remaining impassive as she looked down at her hands, it was something she had heard often enough in regards to herself and the rest, it was natural and she accepted the comments.
Beneath her breath, she said something that she wanted to tell Dominique but could not for it would fail Dominique's expectations of her, "Sorry...Lady Templar...but I can never be human...", and if Dominique heard she took no notice or it could have been the sudden appear of four dark armored figures that entered the infirmary that caused the staff to freeze in their place.
Striding ahead of Sloth and Wrath, and a third Crusader that was completely covered in armor, a bright white light glowing from their visor as the quartet made their way towards Dominique and Sin.
"Well, Well Templar b*tch, is it me or do you have some perverse wish of always needing stitches, I mean only having met you recently this is probably twice you had acquired some sort of bodily injury.", and though his voice was filled with sarcasm, the smile that touched his lips also lit his eyes as he gazed at Dominique before motioning behind him for the fully armored Crusader, and though most of their armor was form fitting this one's armor left the question of their gender a mystery as it sat upon a chair before getting to work on Dominique's hand having taken over a cart with medical utensils, the nurse that was near it offering a quick squeak for sliding away.
With a slight nod towards the silent Crusader that was cutting away the bandage, even wearing gauntlets, their fingers moved dextorously at their work, "I believe you haven't met Greed, and yes Templar b*tch even I haven't quite figure out if they are a guy or a girl...but as a medic Greed is probably better treating these wounds then some stuck up doctor in this s*** hole of a ward.", with a chuckle he walked over and stole a swivel chair, the nurse jumping up before she landed upon the floor before bringing the chair over to Dominique's bed side, sitting on it backwards before folding his arms across the back rest.
Eyeing the wounds before shaking his head, "Of course there will be nerve damage...what you do get try to catch a sword point first....", chuckling slightly as Sloth took a seat upon a bed near Dominique's, lifting one leg up so she could rest her chin upon her knee, her arms wrapped one her one raised leg as Wrath, and Dominique raised her eye brows in surprise when she noticed him eating a whole cake sat upon another bed, forking another mouthful of cake into his mouth as he grunted a greeting.

Dominique was shocked to see Leon in the infirmary along with Sloth, Wrath, and another Black Crusader she didn’t know. His comment though sarcastic made her smile. “I would flip you off, but I’m too tired to use my good hand.” She looked up at Greed as it started to work on her hand. She was surprised at how gentle this one was even with all the armor on. She looked around the room finding herself glade that there were more Black Crusaders in the room. She did have one worry that Richard may have tried something, but with the others here she doubted he would do anything. She looked over to Wrath and the cake he was eating. Dominique couldn’t but laugh, but that was quickly replaced as she flinched from the pain in her hand. She looked back at Greed as he numbed it again. She had almost forgotten this armored Crusader was even working on her hand.
“To your question earlier,” Dominique said as she looked at Sin. “An I’m pretty sure Leon would agree with me. An Oath is a promise with many loop holes in it. Granted I must say I am surprised and very proud of your actions in that room. As your oath is to be a weapon of a Templar and to protect a Templar you did just that. You defended me and protected me when I no longer could. You didn’t fail in your Oath, but upheld it to the worst challenges of that.” She smiled lightly. “As for that doctor his oath is to help those who need help, to be kind and gentle, and to be there for the patients. He doesn’t do that unless they help him. An you’re neither a weapon nor a tool in my eyes. You are a friend and a partner. An don’t worry about me not being able to wield a weapon. Nerve damage or not I can still hold a sword just not as strong. An I may also pick up the bow again, but I’m thinking of dulling it down a bit. I have a set of throwing knives hidden in my room.” She laughed and shook her head. “Mom gave them to me for my 7th birthday when she found out I loved to shoot a bow . . . dad hated it.”
She sighed a bit before looking at Leon. “Sin,” she said lightly before looking at her. “You are right. You are not human,” she smiled lightly at the statement. “You are far from being human.” She sighed and shook her head. “Humans lie, cheat, steel, and murder for themselves.” She looked up at Wrath as he looked at her and then at the cake. “No you earned that,” she said with a laugh. “Besides it looks like you’re enjoying it more than anyone else would.” She looked back to Sin and reached out to pat her hand. “God had created humans in his image, but in the end all we did was betray him and turn against him.” She shook her head. “My father is evident of that.” She looked back to Leon. “As I met you I’ve come to terms that you are better than humans. To own the title of human is beneath you, and for my father to label you as a monster is only because he fears you.” She looked at Sin again. “You are God’s warrior. Everyone just like you. His Angels put on earth to fight a war that humanity is losing, and I’m not talking about those of the undead.”
“Angels?” the voice laughed from the doorway. The doctor had come back with Richard at his side. “An what does that thing think he’s doing?!”
Dominique took her hand from Greed as he or she finished up. She looked at the stiches and smiled. “Doing a damn better job than a Doctor trained to do this.” She flexed her fingers feeling the pain in them but smiled. “I thought you left . . . what are you doing here?”
“I went to tell your father that you were refusing your punishment,” he growled.
She smiled as she let Greed wrap her hand. “Punishment? I don’t recall you mention anything about a punishment.”
“How dare you,” he growled as he threw his hands in the air. “Get these freaks out of my lab.” He looked at Wrath and pointed. “An that one. Where did he even get the right to have something like that?” He started to approach Wrath.
Even only knowing Wrath and the others for a few short hours she knew they were like Sin, and different in their own way. An she was worried that Wrath would act out if the cake was taken from him. Knowing well enough that her punishment for rebellion wouldn’t be far less than a Crusaders. She removed her dagger and flung it forward. The doctor had barley taken two steps toward Wrath before the dagger crossed in front of his face. “You take another step toward Wrath, and my next throw won’t miss,” she growled. She didn’t have another dagger on her, but he didn’t know that. “He has permission to eat that cake. So if you don’t mind take my father, and get out of the infirmary.”
“This is my ward, and I won’t leave.” He looked at Richard who remained silent during the entire situation. “Would you say something?”
“Don’t raise your voice at me,” Richard barked before looking at Dominique. “I came to give you a new sword, and apologize for my actions today. I have over stepped my boundaries, and have taken my anger out on you instead of where it was deserved,” with the last statement he looked at Sin.
“Take it and shove it,” she said as she looked at Sin. “Your just jealous God didn’t give you an Angel to watch over you.”
Richard’s hand tightened on the sword he held. “God gave you no such creature. Watch yourself you’re treading on thin ice daughter.”
Dominique couldn’t help but laugh. “I think that ice has already shattered, father.”
“This is my . . .”
“Shut it, and get out!” she barked. “This isn’t your organization and you know it.” She was fully sitting up on the bed now. “The Templars were passed down to mom by her father, and you married into it. You are nothing without me!” She grinned. “The only reason you were even able to remain on the Council is because I was too young when mother died. You’ve manipulated and twisted people’s arms to remain in order.”
“How dare you!” he barked as he shoved the doctor through the door. “I don’t know where you get your lies from.” He shook his head as he moved to the door. “I’ll be talking with you later about this.”
Dominique sighed as she leaned against the back of the bed again. “So . . .” she said as she looked at Leon. “Can I have my dagger back,” she said pointing to the blade in the wall.

Tilting his head, a lazy smirk upon his lips before shaking his head, "Naw, if you threw it like that you damn well can get it yourself...", though reaching behind his back he drew forth a dagger, its hilt ornate with several holy symbols, the hilt almost looking like a cross with a point at the pommel before, "Of course...considering you might be going all ninja Templar on us with throwing knives and s*** like that you might as well have a descent up close and personal dagger...I don't think Lust will mind if we give you this one....well much.", with a grin he tossed the dagger hilt first towards Dominique, and almost as an afterthought, "Oh yeah...its pretty f**king heavy to for a dagger, but you know...its good at punching through things.", with a laugh as Dominique nearly fumbled the dagger before catching it with her one good remaining hand.
Yet, his eyes grew serious before leaning forward upon the back of the chair he so eloquently asked for, "Though...that ass is right, part of what you say is true, the other part...well let just say you only inherited a branch of a much larger tree.", nodding towards Greed who had finished up the treating of Dominique's wounded hand, the crusader standing up before making their way towards the other end of the ward, having had to much of a situation already the rest of the medical staff fled as Greed sat down upon the head doctor's desk before working upon the computer, soon a series of music began to slowly filter through the speakers as Greed sat back.
Sin, having remained silent and slightly timid about her earlier moment lifted her gaze from her hands to stare at the members of her former squads, the blue of her eyes puzzled, "Leon...what is the meaning of this...", her voice light as she tightened her grip upon her wooden cross, eyes moving towards Dominique then Leon before looking straight ahead, not sure whom she should focus upon as Sloth smiled faintly watching, Wrath still busying himself with his cake.
Letting his gaze linger on Sin, his eyes shadowed before turning them towards Dominique, "Honestly, I know only a partial truth myself...and that's only because some dumb ass I bumped into into oh a few weeks ago decided to let me on some of these f**king ideas.", steepling his hands, the tips of his fingers touching, Leon shrugged before continuing, "But like anything in this century a group needed to branch out do different things...f**k hell, have you ever wondered why there is only a few colors of Crusaders, and hell why are some termed black and the others different, now that I wish I knew...hell I wish I f**k knew what half of this s*** really meant in the long run, but hey I am a tiny picture kinda of guy and since I have grown quite fond of a few of these Crusaders I damn well find out a bit more, ya dig since you also seemed quite fond of one as well.", shaking his head before letting his arms drape the back of the chair, his eyes looking towards Sloth before returning his gaze towards Dominique.
"Anyhow, my take is this Sloth and Wrath well they important to me, and I want to ensure they get a good deal out of this s***...", with a twist of his head, motioning towards Greed, "That thing over there hell, I have no clue what or what reason its been tagging along since its not really part of my merry band.", returning his gaze towards Dominique, his lips quirked in a half smile, half frown before leaning forward.
"Now that I know you think roughly around the same lines, I am wondering why don't you join my band, you know bring Sin along and do a bit of good ole fashion revolution and take out the old fart of a Templar that bastard is and try to get in touch with some of these other branches...you di..", Leon wasn't able to finish as Sin snapped up her blade ringing in the air as she aimed for Leon's neck, "Thou shall not betray your oath as a crusader.", her voice emotionless, the action reflexive as her sword swung towards Leon.
Yet, her sword rebounded back as a blade interposed itself between it and Leon, the almost bone like growth growing from what was Sloth's arm as she eyed Sin coldly, the faintly amused tone of her voice taking on a nearly glacial chill as she stepped back, her arm that was now a blade in a ready position, "I like you Sin, always have...even before...well that isn't something that you need to know, but if you dare harm Leon again I will cut up that pretty face of yours no matter how much Leon wants you on our side.", taking position near Leon, Wrath his cake now forgotten was staring towards Sin as well, his face impassive but somehow he gave the same thought as the crusaders stared at each.
Greed took a glance back, before returning their attention to the game of poker they were playing.

Dominique looked down at her hand that was wrapped almost like she didn’t even see what was happening before her. She sat there for a moment before sliding off the bed. Steadying herself she looked at Sin and Sloth a stance that should never come between friends. “Stand down Sin,” she said though surprised that it sounded more like an order than a request. But given the situation that could possibly unfold she didn’t have much choice. She shook her head as she walked to the wall that had her dagger sticking in it. Wrapping her hand around the hilt she smiled lightly as something Serga once told her about her father. She looked back toward Sin as she pulled the dagger out of the wall. Her friend seemed tortured in the thought of an oath she had given in order to become a Crusader, and she didn’t blame her. When she was younger she was torn between her oath given as a Templar and that of her mother’s teachings. None of it was the same, and yet she knew the oath her father made her give was wrong in so many ways. An when she was younger it was Serga who opened her eyes to the truth about her father once before, and then she closed them only to have others reopen them.
“I pledge myself, from now and forever, to the holy Militia of the Order of the Temple. I declare to take freely and solemnly oath of obedience, poverty and chastity, as well as fraternity, hospitality and prelibation. With this oath I state my strong and irrevocable intent To pledge my sword, my forces, my life and everything that I own to the cause, defense, honor and further knowledge of the Christian religion, of the Order of the Temple and of my companions in arms; to the rescue of the Temple of the Holy Sepulcher of our Lord Jesus Christ, of the Land of Palestine and the East and of the domains of our forefathers. To submit to the Rule of our Holy Father Bernard, to the Transmission Chart, the Rules, Law and Decrees and all other statements issued in conformity to the Statutes of the Order; not to invest any knight or divulgate title, grade, ritual or other custom of the Order unless authorized by the Statutes; to obey unconditionally and always, within the Establishments of the Order and without, and in all walks of life, the Grand Master and the high Officers of the Order, collectively and singularly.” She paused in thought as she looked down at her dagger.
“To love my brothers the Knight and my Sisters the Dames and help them, their children and their widows with my sword, my advice, means and wealth, my credit and everything in my power, and will favor them, with no exception, over those who are not members of the Order. To defend the pious pilgrims, to aid and comfort those who are persecuted for the Cause of the Cross, the sick and the poor. To fight the infidels and the non-believers with my example, virtue, charity and convincing arguments; and to fight with the sword the infidels and non-believers who attack the Cross with their own sword. To abhor all immodesty, and not to indulge in illegitimate pleasures of the flesh and then only with my legitimate spouse. Finally, barring rules dictated by Religion and the Order, to conform to the Laws and Customs of the countries in which I may reside, to fulfill my duties of citizen, and to be loyal knight in those countries which entertain relations with the Order. This oath I pronounce loudly before the Knights present at this Convent. I sign it and confirm it by my blood. Again, I write it and sign its registration in the documents relating to this Convent and witnessed by the Knights. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. Amen.” She looked up at Sin and smiled.
“This is the oath of a Templar given and signed for by blood. Each document a will and testament for each of us to do the right thing, but we make mistakes and we correct them. We fall from grace, but we earn our but we build our repor back. We lean on God and his glorious son, Jesus, during everything we do and everything we say.” She walked to stand beside Leon as she continued to look at Sin. “My father has long ago broken his oath to the Lord and to himself. This organization is no longer bound by the oath that was once the Templar’s. This organization is run by fear, power, and greed. Everything that the oath forbids is what runs rampant through these walls and others.” She walked to stand in front of Sin. Her hand reaching up to brush a strand of hair from her face. “You have never broken your oath. Not even in that room when you raised your blade against my father. An as it stands . . . as I look upon this facility with opened eyes. None of us here are true Templars.”
She stepped away from Sin. “I blindly followed my father breaking my own oath in doing so.” She turned to look at Sin. “The oath you gave was to be loyal to the Templars. In truth if we could open the eyes of every Crusader here they would see that they too do not follow Templars.” She smiled weakly. “When I look back to my past I can only see two individuals that would ever be deemed worthy to be called a Templar. An one was a priest that I do not know the name. He was so kind and caring and always carried the Lord with him where ever he went. The other . . . .” she trailed off as she looked at the dagger in her hand. “ . . . the other is Serga. . . .” She cleared her throat and shook her head as she looked at Sin. “I was once told that an oath is only as good as the giver and the taker. If the giver of the oath is flawed in his own being then the oath given isn’t a true oath.” She sighed. “When I was younger I was torn between my oath and what my mother’s teachings were. They were so different. What my mother taught she said was right, but what I was taught by my father he said he was right. When I was told this I opened my eyes. I see the truth behind my father, and seen how he failed in his oath. It made me realize that the oath I had given when I was younger was nothing but a lie. An that my mother was right with her teachings.”
She turned away from the group as she looked at her hand. “That was until my mother was died. I forgot everything and blindly followed that man. Of course I played who I was how I was different from every Templar out there, but in the end I was no better than any of them.” She rubbed the bandage along her hand admiring the wrapping done by someone still wearing their armor. “My eyes were opened, and thought I know I am not where I want to be I know the oath I have given as a Templar is nothing more than a contract for my father to hold onto men and every other Templar out there.” She turned to look at Sin. “Just like your oath is a contract for him to hold over you. But as I see it that contract has already been broken, and by Richard.” She grinned slightly finding that saying his name seemed to feel a lot better than by saying father. Now she knew why her mother always called him by his name and never anything else. “He broke the contract binding you to that oath. Don’t you see Sin. You have no oath to hold you back. None of us can stop you from what you want to do. You are as free as Leon, Sloth, and Wrath is. You just have to open your eyes and see. You can be your own person, you don’t even need to stand by my side if you don’t want to. That I will not hold against you. I want you as a friend and an equal. Not a master and a slave. Not what Richard does with the Crusaders.”
She paused for a moment before looking at Leon. “An what do you mean there . . . there are more out there?” Which she didn’t understand why she was surprised. It would explain how Serga and his little army of Red Crusaders would be able to survive on their own for so long. If there were other groups out there she wondered just how many opposed her father and everyone that followed him

Leon sat back listening to Dominique, though his attention was focused upon Sin, now he was not always the brightest light in a pack but he could tell the words were slowly tearing her mind apart. The way those blue eyes seemed to freeze and unfreeze, the dilation of the pupils, She is free...I had a hunch she might be truly free from the programming...yet unlike Wrath and Sloth she's been indoctrinated into the entire mess...though.., shaking his head, aware that Dominique was asking him a question, yet he was troubled by the nearly subtle hints of conflict, the verge of breaking that seemed to hide within Sin. Turning his attention back towards Dominique, though before he answered her question he reached out to drag her nearer to him while motioning towards Sloth who moved over to the now non-hostile Sin, leading her over to where the remains of the cake Wrath was eating, Sin moving automatically before sitting down, her look impassive as she listened to Sloth tell her about how Wrath found the joy of the sweetness that cake could bring.
Seeing that Sin was busy, or at least not paying attention-he didn't want another repeat of the episode with what he said, though he knew Sloth would be saddened if she harmed Sin, she would not regret protecting Leon, "Templar b*tch...I would try to tone down those speeches of yours, I know you mean well...but f**k sometimes you have to look carefully, those words of yours are slowly tearing apart Sin.", leaning forward, his voice even pitched lower as he continued, "You and me can tell Sin is different, hell look at Sloth and Wrath, f**k...think about Pride and Lust for god sakes, these guys have been programmed to think a certain away and well Sloth and Wrath have been debugged. Yet, look at Sin I know for damn sure she has never been debugged like the Sloth and Wrath...but she acts freer than any damn Crusader...hell she took me in years ago and made her one of squad, now tell me what Crusader have you ran into that would do that...I will tell you none.", letting his eyes drift over to Sin, who still sat impassive, and yet for brief moments those ice blue eyes would break to reveal the lost and scared little girl from within that he noticed back way then.
Shaking his head, "I don't know how, or why but she isn't programmed but considering what you know and I know that Crusaders had to go through...its basically her survival mechanism, push it to much and you might lose that, so tread carefully at least.", leaning, once more his cocky smile upon his face as if the serious chat he had never happened.
"f**k Templar b*tch, if I knew how to contact the rest of these branches you think I would have done so by now, f**k, its why we gotta get your dad's info, he holds that stuff. ", with a slightly smug look, one of his eyes winking, "I also know from a source that a certain meeting about a certain Templar keeping a certain Crusader went against him, and that certain source said that a transmission came in from a different source than the other bases...that gives you an idea that not everything is a big happy family but a bunch of back stabbing s.o.b.s.", leaning forward his eyes serious, "Though...tell me about this priest guy...from what you let out he seemed to be pretty high in the food chain wasn't he...", Leon was all ears now.
Sitting with Sloth and Wrath, having lost track of how Wrath had a piece of cake back when a Templar meal cart was left by his room, the story itself interwining so much that Sin could not really find the thread anymore, and despite the tense standoff between herself and Sloth there was no hard feelings, they were just doing their purpose. No, Sin was troubled by what Dominique said, the words breaking upon her mind threatening...she didn't quite know what it threatened but she felt her sense of stability shaken. It was like she had to retain these thoughts, that something would destroy her if she let them go...that there was a cliff she didn't dare tread. With a shake of her head, her golden hair moving softly along her shoulders. Sin would keep her oath to Dominique, it was her purpose...but she had to keep her oath to the Crusaders, though they conflict she would keep to both of them because they both would lead her back to where she wanted to be...where her world was not so chaotic, and she could be the weapon she was born to become.
Yet, Sin wasn't deaf to what Leon said, and though she only caught patches it left her even more troubled, as she sat passively.

Dominique looked up at Sin as Leon lectured her about watching what she said. She never even thought about what she was talking about. She only wanted to help, but it seemed that her words only conflicted Sin even more. She felt bad as she watched Sin, and when Leon had pointed it out she could now see it. She could see the conflict in her eyes as she sat listening, but not really listening to Sloth talk. It was as if she was trying to fight back to gain what she had before Dominique had torn it apart. She looked down at her hand again feeling the pain killer starting to wear off she tried to ignore it as she thought about what happened in the room. Sin’s reaching to the cross being taken from her was so childlike, and even the look in her eyes was like her life was being taken from her. She looked back up realizing that the mask she had on was to hide something different than what she thought.
She shook her head as Leon asked about the priest she knew. She smiled at the thought about him trying to get her mind on a different task. Leaning up against the medical bed she folded her arms across her chest flinching slightly when she bent her right hand slightly. “Before my mother passed away we lived about an hour away from here in a mansion. It was set up to withstand the outbreak. We weren’t the only one’s living there several members of the Council would stay there from time to time. Many of the Templars would live there to guard the place, and even their families. Their children would attend a class in the study. There were no Crusader’s there either. He forbidden any Crusader from stepping foot on the grounds, and kept them at this facility. The priest lived with us at the mansion, but no one ever said his name.” She paused in thought as she tried her best to recall the past she whole heartedly wanted to forget at one point in her life.
“In fact. I think it was Richard that forbid the use of any of the Priest names within the mansion. I don’t know why.” She shook her head as she looked at Sin. “He was a very kind man. He would always come see my mother and me. An he would spend two or three hours alone with mom before seeking me out and spending time with me. He was more of a father in my life than my own father. He would ask me how my day went, and even helped me memorize my oath.” She laughed a bit and shook her head. “I think in the way of rank. Priest Templars always hold higher ranks than the fighter Templars. So I would say he was higher than Richard to be honest. Richard always seemed a bit intimidated by him, and would always forbid mom and me from seeing him. Yet she always told me if I had anything wrong I could always go to him, and that he would protect me.”
She smiled weakly. “I remember the last day I seen him. It was when Richard brought me here to see the Crusaders for the first time. He gave me the sword that Sin now carries telling me when I found the right person I would give that sword to them. I ended up questioning Richard’s motives, and his reaction was way less painful, but still painful. He followed me home where mom and him comforted me. That was the last time I seen him. Mother died that day, and we had to flee from the mansion not even three weeks later. When I think about the times Richard looked at him he never did. Richard never made eye contact with the Priest.” She looked up at Sin, and then to Sloth her mind wrap around something she wanted to ask Leon about.
His reaction when it happened didn’t change almost like he knew that it could happen. She looked back at Leon. “You know a lot more than your letting on. I know you know what’s in the body, and I’m starting to sort of figure out how you know a lot about me. Though I’ll ring Serga’s neck for that the next time I see him.” She looked away at the thought of seeing him again. “I need to talk to him, and find out what happened that night.” She shook her head pushing that thought away. “Now tell me something. Sloth’s arm. How long has she been able to do that? An did does it even have anything to do with the mutated Crusaders in that other lab?”

Leaning forward upon the back of the chair, nodding his head, "I always had a feeling your old man was driven by something other than just being a total ass, the wall he acts it makes total sense that he is trying to surpass someone...though it still makes him a total ass.", with a faint smirk towards Dominique's response about Serga and his own small amount of knowledge concerning what was going on within their small part of the world. Though as he thought over to tell Dominique, it dawned on him that in the end he didn't really know that much other than what Serga told him and he had a feeling even Serga didn't know much other than what he told Leon. Yet, how to tell Dominique, his eyes traveling over to Sin and though she sat passively, well something didn't mesh right in his mind. Reaching into his pocket he took out a small notebook, and a pen before he started writing, while he did this his voice still low, "Now, don't think I am trying to hide stuff from Sin, if I could I would tell her...but, well you will know why its better that she knows very little till she grows a bit more...you know break that little child out of her and s*** like that.", so they remained silent for a bit as he wrote, and after awhile he spoke again, "Have you ever wondered why, considering what went down today your old man or his cronies haven't bothered us...well...lets say they are vastly afraid of the Crusaders...and you will know a bit of why, and understand what went down at the facility.", with a final few words he ripped off the page of paper he was writing upon before handing it over to Dominique, "Oh yeah...don't worry about Sin reading this, Crusaders can't read English only Latin you dig.", pressing the piece of paper into Dominique's good hand before sliding a back to study Sloth and Sin-Sloth was starting to act more like a sister to Sin, and of course Wrath was like a lovable dog, Leon couldn't help but chuckle as he leaned forward, though his eyes strayed towards Dominique as she read the piece of paper. What Leon Wrote

Dominique read the note that Leon had given her, and then had to read it again. She looked up at Leon before grinning but not about the letter, but more about his language. He seemed like a very colorful individual and the way he talked and wrote was evident of that. She did learn one thing about the virus and it scared her even more as she looked at Sin. Now Sin’s fear of becoming one of those things was her own. She didn’t want to lose her Angelic Sin, she didn’t want her to turn into some horrible monster, something that she wasn’t. She looked at Sin now wondering what would trigger something like that, but it seemed that Sloth could control it. Though Sloth didn’t seem like she was masking her true self like Sin was. She smiled weakly as she put the letter in her pocket. Walking over she stood beside Leon and looked down at him as he still hadn’t moved from his chair.
As she thought about Sin and Simon she didn’t realize he was a priest or one of rank. It got her thinking about what Leon said. There was only one person that was above her father, and it was the Priest she knew. But that was some time ago, and he could have been replaced. She shook her head at the thought of all the possibilities, and then the name that Richard mentioned when she first got Sin. ‘Simon,’ was this the same Simon as Sin’s, or was it just a coincidence that they had the same name. She doubted it, but she knew that when she found Sin’s father she would have to ask him herself. She wanted answers, and she wanted Sin to be free. If he was truly able to help Sin this far along she wondered just what all he knew and was able to do. She looked down at Leon as he sat there staring at the others.
“Colorful language there,” she said as she looked over to Sin. The scene in front of her was heartwarming considering she knew where they came from with emotions. She couldn’t help but think back to Famine and his loyalty to Richard regardless of what he had done to him. She didn’t want Sin to be loyal to that man or anyone like him. She wanted her to be free, and now it seemed that she also wanted her to be free of herself so she wouldn’t have to hide any longer. “The Priest that Sin claim as her father. His name is Simon,” she mumbled under her breath as she watched them. She looked at Wrath as he looked down at his empty plate and then at Sloth and Sin. She couldn’t help but laugh a little before shaking her head. It seemed that Leon had a child of his own in the group, but a very loyal and strong one. She looked down at Leon for a moment before think about what he had mentioned earlier in their conversation.
“I can take a look around Richard’s office. I won’t have any problems getting past his security.” One thing she had learned about her father over the years was he wasn’t creative when it comes to protecting his work. He always used the same three five, ten, or twenty six code password for anything. It was what made it easier to get into that lab back at the other facility. An considering that she never knew about the password was one more indication that Richard never even intended on them getting into that room. She shook her head as she looked at the others. “I have to do it tonight. I know Richard has a meeting so he won’t be in his office for several hours. After his office I can search his room. But Sin can’t come with. If any Templars see me bringing Sin into that area without an escort there going to ask questions.” She looked back to Leon.

Turning his head slightly, his look eyes look towards Dominique before shaking his head, "Sorry, can't do a damn thing about that we got ourselves a mission tonight same as Pride and Lust, hell we should have been gone and out but I decided to buck it for a bit so we can have our little chat. Besides....", his gaze wandering over to Sin and the rest before returning to Dominique, "...I got to thinking that it would be nice for you to know you got some allies backing you in your corner, and to give Sin's little family a chance to be together for a little bit as well.", cracking his neck a bit before getting up, whistling to get Sloth's and Wrath's attention as the two nodded before getting up as well to stand beside Leon, Greed seeing the action got up as well though turning off the computer before leaving the room. Lifting his arm up, the two crusaders started leaving though Sloth turned around to give Dominique a half smile before following Wrath out of the room, as Leon was leaving he turned to face Dominique, "Give Sin an order or something, I know you hate the thought but you gotta play by the game's rules till she frees herself...", with that said he left the ward.
Sin watched as the others left the room, her blue eyes trailing them till they left, and she felt an empty feeling for a moment as she sat upon the bed, the empty plate with a few crumbs near her hand. With a small movement, causing her hair to dance along her shoulders she got up from the bed to head over to Dominique.

Dominique watched at Leon left the infirmary with the others. She smiled lightly as she looked at Sin who approached her. She knew from this point forward she would have to be careful on how she approached information to bring to Sin. She reached out with her left hand and patted her on the shoulder as she looked down at the cross. “Let me see your cross for a second.” She seen the reluctance in Sin’s eyes, and couldn’t help but laugh. As Sin handed her the cross they looked at the whole that the string once was sitting in. “I think I might have something to fix this.” She handed the cross back and grabbed her hand knowing well enough Sin would object to where she was getting ready to go. Once outside of the infirmary she pulled her down the hall toward the Templars quarters. She could feel Sin’s resistance, but also that she wasn’t trying too hard. Dominique ignored the prying eyes as she approached her quarters. Opening the door she walked in behind Sin and shut the door.
“Don’t worry I know this place makes you feel uncomfortable. I’m just getting a few things, and we're going to fix your cross.” Her room didn’t have much to it; a bed, desk, and dresser. There was a picture frame on the desk with Dominique and her mother when she was younger. Shoving the dresser out of the way she knelt down pulling a panel off the wall. “Richard has my room searched thoroughly from time to time. “I beat the crap out of one of the searchers when I was younger when he tried to take the picture. They haven’t touched it since.” She grinned as at Sin before turning to the hidden panel. She lifted another panel hidden inside it. “They know about the first, so I had to get creative.” Pulling out a box she sat it on the dresser and opened it up. Pulling out a locket she placed it around her neck and hides it behind her shirt. She shifted through some papers in the box before pulling out another locket and several throwing knives. With the second locket in hand she put everything back up and moved the dresser back in place.
“Alright let me see your cross again.” With the cross she placed it on the chain for the locket and the walked up to Sin and put it around her neck. “Perfect,” she said lightly as she stepped back. “Fits you perfectly. That use to belong to my mom. I think she would want you to have it. The chain is longer than mine mostly because she always hated wearing the short chains.” She picked up the knives and motioned for the door. As they exited several Templars were walking down the hall. They stopped for a moment and looked at Sin before looking at Dominique.
“You know if your father finds out he’ll flip out,” the young woman said before looking at Sin. “But I don’t think anyone’s seen anything.” She looked back at the other with her and they all shook her head. “I’ll deal with the others who seen her earlier.”
“Thank you Shasha.” Dominique motioned for Sin to move down the hall before stopping when her name was called.
“How’s the hand?” she asked.
“Hurts like hell.”
Shasha laughed. “Brother says he needs to talk to you as soon as you can . . .” she paused for a moment. “Try not to hurt him to bad.” She grinned before leading the rest of her group down the hall.
Dominique smiled as she lead Sin down the hall, and back toward the Crusaders area. Once they were in the Seraph’s quarters she looked at Sin and smiled. “Not all Templars are what my father wants them to be, but he runs this place by fear,” she said lightly. Though she felt disturbed that Serga would go through his sister to even contact her or even better want to see her to begin with. She sighed a bit before looking at Sin. “Sin, there is something I must do, but I can’t take you with.” She saw the reluctance on Sin’s face. “I hate to do this, but I’m giving you an order. Stay here until I return.” She smiled as she walked out of the area.
Without Sin she was able to move through the Templars area better, and without the prying eyes. Making her way to her father’s office she stopped at the door with the keypad. Typing in the code that she had seen him type so many times before. As the doors unlocked she couldn’t help but wonder why he kept the same codes and never changed them from time to time. Securing the door she moved toward his computer. Again the password was simple, but when she thought about it she never had anything better to do than to memorize his passwords. They weren’t short or easy passwords, and she knew that he never thought she would memorize something like this. Though when she was younger she always wanted to sneak into his quarters to find out why he was the way he was, but over the years she knew.

Sin watched, her heart beating rapidly for some reason as Dominique vanished around a corner-she was concerned for Dominique's safety and with her father, it still confused her how a father would treat their off spring so cruelly, and yet Sin had to admit to herself she only knew it from the words of others and how Simon taught her. Letting her hand drift to the hilt of the sword that Dominique gifted her, the feeling of the chain that now held her cross, yes, Sin felt troubled and yet she was compelled to follow Dominique's order as she turned to head deeper into the Seraph's squads area. Though as she strode through these halls, it felt differently now, her eyes straying towards the doors that led into the areas that each crusader called their own, was it because she had changed through the past few days or perhaps it has never really changed and she was beginning to see what was always there. Like how the Templar's and other members of the staff never ventured here unless sent upon a task, or how quiet and empty the halls were unlike the halls of the other compound where Templar's or the staff would stop to chat with each other.
Of course, as she stopped her mind going towards Leon, and images of him chatting with Envy and Sloth every time he could though they didn't know what to make of it and yet him chattered. Yet, as her eyes strayed towards Sloth's room, ever since a week ago Sloth had changed and Sin could remember moments where the too chatted with each other, or an image of Sloth holding Leon's hand during the mission, or the look upon her face when Lust struck him. Strange...why didn't I put some notice upon seeing those images till now..., it was a disquieting feeling, her hand reaching up to touch the wood of the cross, gaining some measure of peace with the troubling thoughts that were now plaguing her as she resumed walking through the corridor.
"Sin0048D042, halt and be known", the rumble of thunder echoed throughout the halls as Pride rounded the corner, his massive sword clenched in one hand as he strode towards Sin, stopping as the look upon his face made her reach for the hilt when she felt a presence behind her, a subtle perfume wafting from behind her as she felt a hand lightly placed upon her shoulder, "Would not do", Lust's almost childlike words could not help hide the steel that lined those words as Sin let her hand drop to her side.
Her voice, though melodious was matter of a fact, a straight tune instead of a hymn, "The two of you, I thought were sent upon a mission...though...", feeling Lust brush past her, the blades of her daggers shining in the light of the corridor, and Sin noticed that they were far different then what she used before, and it was with steadily growing realization as the two of her oldest comrades held unsheathed blades.
With a faint sorrow marring her words, the voice a mourning hymn, "I do not hold against what you are duty bound to do right now.", her hand once more resting upon the hilt of her sword, "Yet, I am also bound by an oath to prevent what is going to happen.", with that she drew her sword, the blade catching the light of the hall way, giving the blade a glowing nearly silver appearance as she fell into a guard position.
Pride as always remained impassive, his face betraying none of his thoughts as he readied his sword, Lust though wore a conflicted look, and again also a snide look at the same time as she rushed Sin, her daggers flying through the air in nearly a burst of speed, each lunge and draw back she would twirl into a kick.
Sin using as little movement as possible blocked the fury of strikes with the blade of her sword, the weapons sparking in the air, her body twisting left and right within the narrow confines of the corridor, it was almost as if the two were dancing in stead of fighting. Each thrust would signal a twist of Sin's body, each kick would cause a slight jump backwards as she kept her sword poised, yet suddenly the tempo changed when Lust instead of kicking jumped backwards and Pride rushed forward his blade cleaving the air as Sin ducked, the blade shearing off a few strands of her golden hair as she came back up behind Pride's guard, only to be met by Lust and with a fury of strikes sent Sin falling backwards.
As Sin was forced back Lust slid to the side as Pride sword came soaring past her in a lunge, Sin twisting out of the way, though not fast enough as the blade opened up a red line upon her side where armor would have covered now only black cloth protected Sin from the blades of her friends. The knowledge that they were fully armored was not lost on Sin as she jumped further back wards as Lust once more resumed her fury of attacks, her daggers now a blinding dance of steel and though Sin was fast the wound upon her side had slowed her as one out of five of Lust's attacks scored marks upon her body. Though not deep, the accumulation of them was growing and slowly but steadily the wounds were sapping Sin's strength as Lust once more retreated and Pride launched his own series of attacks, Sin's only advantage was that due to the confines of the hallway, Pride could not fully employ his power or reach over her as she was able jumped further backwards, and yet the splattered of red upon the white marble marked each step Sin retreated from the swings and lunges of Prides sword.
Yet, Sin knew that she would eventually be brought down when she ran out of hallway, and she could not, would not yet this fight enter the hallways of the Templar's. So when Pride drew back his blade Sin launched her attack, catching Lust off guard before she could launch herself from behind Pride, the flat of her blade impacting her side sending her falling backwards, the movement sending her bumping into Pride who was now confined by Lust's body so he couldn't use his sword. Of course, Sin knew her time was limited as she dashed away, and yet before she evened made it a few feet she felt the tiniest prick and the world went dark.
Getting up from their fall, Pride looked towards as the figure of Sin fell, her body skidding along the smooth floor as Greed holstered the gun that shot the chemical that shut down Sin. "Mission accomplished, capture of Sin is a success.", sheathing his massive sword, Pride walked over towards the fallen body of Sin before lifting her up, Lust picking up Sin's fallen weapon as they went onto the next phase of their mission.
Greed, their role done stood still for a moment before reaching into their utility belt before taking out a small black box, two switched upon it as they pressed one before pocketing the device and heading back into their room.
-Somewhere out of the base-
Leon reached into his pocket, pulling out a box with a blinking red light before nodding his head, "Sloth and Wrath, time to wrap this s*** up and head on back...looks like the game is about to begin sooner than expected.", with that Leon turned away from the slaughtering of the group of survivors they were sent to eliminate, Sloth and Wrath finishing off the last before falling behind Leon.
