Joseph pulled into Minneapolis. He recently just came from a town in Nebraska and was now heading north. "Damn it," he mumbled to himself as he stopped his car in front of a huge mass of stopped cars. "Well just my luck," he looked at his gas meter. The little needle was near the little E. "Well I would have had to stop soon anyways," he told himself. He stepped out of his car and quickly pulled out his gun. He pointed it in every direction until he was sure there were zombies nearby for now. He reached into his car and pulled out his back pack and flung it over his back.
Joseph shook his head. "Were to first," he said looking around. Well his first objective would be not to die like always. "I'll go look for supplies I guess," he told himself. He took a few steps only to here something else down the street behind him. Like he expected it was a zombie. "My luck only in a town for five minutes and there already after me I thought I would last at least ten," he chuckled at his own joke but was quickly taken away from it as he saw another zombie down the street. "And so i guess my way of direction is that way," he said running past stopped cars down the streets off Minneapolis.
Joseph saw more zombies as he made his way down the streets. "Hmmph," he said to himself. He was careful not to cut himself on any cars.

He walked heavily on top of the cars with his gas mask hanging around his neck, saving his last filter in case he needed it. He was nearing the next town near this godforsaken highway, "swear to god it doesn't end" he complained tiredly. He walked closer and closer to the town and noticed a small and interesting group of zombies, shambling a small ways from the town. He pulled up his rifle and looked through the scope as he walked, before bringing it back down and began jogging towards the group. Where there were converging zombies there were usually people, or at least an animal to rescue.
Once he Was a closer distance to town he once again reared up his rifle, he hadn't seen any infected in days so probably no problem in sparing a couple shells for some fun. What he hadn't noticed before was the human walking ahead of most of them, still heading toward the few ahead of him. He took to careful shots and nailed the first zombie in the temple dropping it instantly, the next was a shot to it's jaw and only slowed it for a moment. He looked up from his scope and shrugged, eh guns were never his forte. He decided the only proper way to kill a couple zombies and give somebody a slightly better day in the process, was to do it up close. Maybe he could get a drink or two as well, he hadn't seen another building in a couple days. He strapped on his cestus and walked toward the man, the town, and his next meal.

Joseph herd gunshots. Gunshots were only caused by living things and living things were good at this time and age. Should I turn around, he thought. He still herd some moaning from different parts of towns. "Why not," he said to himself. He quickly spun around gun at the ready in case of more infected but to his surprised it was a man in the gas mask. It could be a zombie but zombies don't hold things most of the time, he thought. He narrowed his eyes to truly see if the the person was alive or dead. Well he did hear gunshots and this person was the only other person besides himself that had a gun.
Joseph kept his gun aimed at the man even though this man was most likely alive and he took a closer look at the man he was was a grown man by the looks of it and he was wearing a gas mask. The virus isn't air-born though, he thought. He also looked around and noticed the two dead zombies. Yeah this man is most likely alive I mean gun in hand gun shots dead zombies but I netter make sure, Joseph thought. "Are you dead or alive," he called out to the man still keeping his gun aimed at the man Because in these times even though evidence matched up you still don't know if you can trust a person.

He stopped in his track's, the man asked him if he was alive...? "huh not the sharpest knife in the drawer." "Yea" he called out "i'm alive and as you can tell i can also see", he said pointing to the dead zombies near him. He lowered the mask once more to being around his neck and began walking toward the other survivor. He hadn't seen another survivor since he left his fort in mexico, "hey we should probably find somewhere in town before it get's real crowded real fast.
he looked around to see a few more infected in the distance before taking fuller clip from his pocket and replaced the used slightly used one, nothing to worry about. He looked over to the man, "i'm garfeild, what's wrong with your car?, pointing to the only car just before the traffic pile up that wasn't dusty,

Joseph cracked his neck. Alive that's good, he thought lowering his gun. Well it was good to see someone alive in the midst of all the chaos going on the world. He listened to man than listened down the street he heard zombie growing louder and nearer. " Eh crowded real fast by the sound of it," he told the man.
Joseph scoped the city while listening to the other survivor. "I'm Joseph and my car is almost out of gas maybe five, ten minutes of driving left in it," he told the survivor. He continued listening to the zombie moans coming from the inner parts of the city. "We probably should get going but I am running low on supplies and this city I hope will have some more supplies, he told Garfeild.
Joseph finally saw more zombie appear from the alleyways far behind Garfeild. Joseph gestured Garfeild to turn around. "Looks like our hosts have arrived," he chuckled at his own joke. He aimed his gun at some of the zombies but he didn't shoot them for it was better to save ammo until you truly needed it and he figured he could bypass most zombies but still was aiming just in case.

"D*mn" he muttered, they swarm so fast and yet move so slow. "Alright, he sighed" "lead the way". He clenched his fist's and began walking toward the main street of the town, and toward more infected. "you know it'd be a lot easier if people had the courtesy to shoot themselves when they got bit" he said eying the crowd, he attempted to listen for the barks of hounds. He was sure that somewhere in this town someone had to have owned a dog. He just had to be ready for it, he slammed his fist into the closest zombies head, feeling the spikes dig into the creatures skull. "not too many" he said lightheartedly. "See if you can keep up", He shoved a zombie to the ground and began his run toward the other side.
They had reached the other side safely, he started jogging toward the general store in hopes he could make a stand there, along with the chance to grab a few extra supplies. He looked back at Joseph and nodded his head toward his destination. "this crowd's not too big, we can still exterminate it before this get's out of hand". He stopped at the door and brought up his rifle and took pot shot's at the infected and waited for Joseph.

Joseph just shook his head and ran across the street with Garfeild. He observed the zombie mass and shook his head again. "So many I wouldn't shoot them just yet this is my last clip and the sound of Gunfire may cause more to come," he said cracking his neck. "You go check the store for supplies and I'll keep watch or would you like it the other way," he said watching more zombies mass in the distance. "What tragedy it must be to still be walking even while dead," he told himself.
Joseph kept his gun aimed at the undead hordes even though he was for saving ammo if he had to he would shoot one down if only he had a close-combat weapon then he would be in better shape. If only he had kept his police baton. He shook his head at his own thoughts. He could hear even more moans coming from around the city. Who knows how many undead are here in this city could be thousands. He quickly turned his head to Garfeild for an answer to his question.

"you got it" he said before rushing inside the store, He went to the canned good's section and began stocking his backpack with random cans. Once it was half filled he headed toward the drinks and grabbed bottle after bottle of water, listening for signs of infected. His fears were realized when zombies began stumbling down his isle, He looked onward toward the candy section and ran around the isle toward the Hershey bars. He packed six of the small bars away in his pockets and booked it out toward the door.
He kicked it open to see the infected getting closer, "this way" he said tapping joshes shoulder as he ran down the side of the store. Running from the crowds edges, He ran down the main street and off toward a number of cars lining the road that seemed to be in decent shape only to hear a sharp howl pierce the evening sky.

While the other survivor was inside Joseph watched the hordes of Zombies amass. "Filthy things," he mumbled hearing the constant moans of the zombies. They were getting closer while he waited for the other survivor. "Where the hell is he," Joseph grumbled. The zombies were incredibly close now still letting out there dreadful moans. "If only I had a crowbar," He muttered. "This is way to long," Joseph was about to go inside to get Garfeild when he got tapped and on the shoulder by him.
"About time," Joseph grumbled. He ran catching up to Garfeild and took a look back the zombies had amassed in great numbers now and were following them. "Damnit," Joseph muttered. He heard the howl to but it didn't worry him much it sounded as if the howls were far away by the time the creatures causing would have found himself and Garfeild they would have found a safe spot he hoped. "What did you manage to get?" He asked Garfeild. He took another look back only to notice even more zombies in the mass.

He quickly attempted to remember the rewards of their risk and failed, "a few cans of food, water, and chocolate" he said breaking the window of an old two story bar, He jumped through the broken window and waved Joseph in, his bet was that they would be able to reach the rooftop through the upstairs window. "we can get on the rooftops and go from there"
He ran around the counter of the bar and ran through the open door up the stairs, he cautiously watched the railing as he ran up the stairs and around the turn, he spotted a moving blur behind the railing to his left and narrowly avoided the wooden railing crushed beneath the wait of the infected as it fell in front of him. He walked over the dead zombie and continued to the 2nd level.

"In most countries breaking windows is frowned upon," Joseph said laughing at his own joke. "But in all seriousnessare you sure getting stuck in a bar is a good idea?" he asked but his words were stopped as he saw Garfeild already running up the stairs. "Damnit," he mumbled. ""Garfeild wait up," Joseph said running up after Garfeild. He made sure not to trip over the stairs like a loser.
This will not turn out well, Joseph thought, if zombies make it up there we will not be in the best shape. He looked at the stairs he was running up, been awhile since these were used. He let out a quiet chuckle at his own thought. While continuing to run up the stairs he asked Garfeild, "So what do we plan on doing on the up ontop of this building?"

"Run and jump, in that order". He said as he kicked the netting out of the window before climbing out and up the ledge onto the roof. He looked to the building to his left, it was close enough to jump into the third story window of another building, "they just get taller and taller". He sighed before sprinting and leaping into the human sized window. He crashed through the window of the much taller building and looked around at the room, it was full of cubicles... It was a zombie survivors worst nightmare, He decided to move ahead instead of waiting for joseph.
He clenched his fist's tightly and kicked down the first flimsy cubicle wall, toppling ontop of the contents inside, he looked onward toward the other side toward the windows, "we can do this all day, or we can find a way to actually lose them, what do you think"?

"Run and jump," Joseph mumbled. He shook his head as he watched Garfeild jump out the window and into another building. "Crazy," he mumbled. "I'll be there in a sec!" he yelled over to Garfeild. He took of his backpack and looked through it. "Where is it......... ah ha," he said pulling a flash light out of the pack. He then turned it on and took a few steps down the stairwell. The sound of windows being shattered and doors broken could be herd all the way at the middle of the stairwell. "That is not good," he told himself running back up the stairs. "Well here goes nothing," he chuckled jumping into the new building. "Cubicles my luck," he grumbled.
Joseph pointed his flash light in different directions looking for Garfeild. "Were did he go," Joseph said inspecting the room for any signs of unlife. He kept silent just in case. He walked a bit farther into the room until he saw Garfeild. He grumbled and walked over to him. "Thanks for waiting," he said sarcastically.
"we can do this all day, or we can find a way to actually lose them, what do you think"?
"Maybe but we are alive no matter where we run they will always find us always it's the life of a survivor," Joseph told Garfeild.

"maybe, huh that's a hell of an answer you know that.?", he said tapping the elevator door on his right. He stood quietly waiting for movement, "well looks like the room's clear, for the most part". It didn't seem smart to use them, if they even could. He walked over to the large office room and eyed the walls, they were nothing but windows. He shattered the window on the opposite side of the wall and looked down, it was a two floor drop, he could make it. Before he dropped he spotted the dogs he had heard earlier, he continued to look down in the alley and saw them. Four dogs steadily walking through the alley before looking up and sniffing the air. "no" he muttered, he felt relieved when the dog stopped sniffing the air. Only to have his heart skip a beat when the lead dog looked directly up toward him.
He turned back to Joseph, who was searching the room for supplies. "looks like we're stuck" he told him. "Zombies on one side dogs on another, if there not already on there way up by stairs or something." "if theres another way out of here besides fighting i'd like to see one." he said before pulling out a Hershey bar and downing half of it in one bite.
