Andreya looked up at Louis as he answered his phone. She wished that Thorton would have called her, but from the looks of it she wasn't going to get anywhere with him. She was worried to death about him, but it wasn't like she could go looking for him. She didn't have sources or the power like other people did. She was just a lone collage student, who was struggling to get by. She sighed heavily as Louis hung up the phone. She tilted her head slightly as she looked him over, and the perplexed look on his face. "Is e- everything okay?" she asked lightly as she shifted to climb out of bed, but the motion making her sicker than she felt.
She leaned forward with the urge to vomit, but never could. After a few minutes she sighed heavily as she leaned back on the bed, and closed her eyes. She just laid there for a bit panting slightly as she did. She wasn't going to be taking her medication for a while, and she wasn't planning on taking anything extra ever again. Not unless the doctor prescribed it. She now understood well enough why the doctors always gave her different kinds of medication when she got sick. She could always go back to her dorm, because she always had extra there. Never finished taking all her medication, leaving her extra laying around her room. Though she couldn't go back . . . they couldn't go back. That would be dragging them back to the starting point, and it wouldn't help them find his friend. Andreya sighed as she just laid there trying to relax, and deal with it to the best of her ability. "W- when your ready to go, j- just let me know."

Louis looked at Andreya try to get up, then breath in as she felt the pain. She should be in bed still, but there was a change in plans that he couldnt just ignore. Looking outside the window once again, he saw the large clearing in the Raccoon City Park, and knew thats where they needed to go. But he didnt want to force Andreya out of bed, however, did he have the choice? He only wanted what was best for her, but in the long run, they needed to leave. Its not that this place wasnt safe, it was the most safest area they came across. But other matters, that remained uncontrolable to Louis, came into considoration. He looked away from the window, and picked up the backpack onto the bed, laying it out.
Unzipping it, Louis made sure not to look inside, that would be crossing the line. But he did grab a few odds and ends from the room. Food, water, medical supplise, mainly stuff that they would be needing. After cramming some things inside, he layed it beside Andreya, and then zipped it back up. Shaking his head, and sighing, he knew it wasnt something he dont often. But the situation was changing, that call made things mixed up for them both. His job may have him freelance, but someone up there needed his work, his only real horror was the fact that Andreya would have to be there with him. Take your daughter to work day just wouldnt cut it for the big guy, but given the circumstances, everything would be find. At least, Louis hoped they would. "Hey Kiddo, dont mean to be quick, but... We gotta be outta this place in fifteen minuits... Yeah, sorry. Just... Try to take the pain like a big girl. But I can carry you, if you need me to..."

Andreya smiled weakly at Louis as she shook her head. "No, it's o- okay," she said lightly as she tried to sit up, but found it nearly impossible. Her stomach burned when she sat up, and that was most of her problem. Though considering she felt weak and nearly helpless. She couldn't believe what all was happening in such a short time. She closed her eyes for a moment, and then with Louis' help she was finally able to sit up. She panted heavily as she looked up at him. Her eyes drifting to the door, and the sighed heavily as she then looked toward the window.
"Looks l- like were go- going out the window," she said as she picked up the back pack and followed him to the window. Just a second story, not much of a problem for her . . . it was a major problem if she landed wrong on her feet. She climbed out of the window with his help, and down onto the awning on the first level. Walking over to the edge she waited until Louis was down on the ground, before she edged herself off, and he caught her as she fell to the ground. They quickly made their way over to the car, as Louis took the driver's side, and she took the passenger seat.

Ding.
The elevator came to a halt on the second floor, reserved for doctors and nurses alike who both had their own individual resting areas. Of course, Nathan could never possibly have known that, and as he took a single step off the elevator, he also couldn’t have imagined how wrecked the area was. Everything was in shambles, most of the cabinets rifled and hanging off their hinges. Corpses scattered the floor’s the majority of whom were nurses and doctors, which of course was expected. From his right jacket pocket, Nathan produced a small handkerchief and held it up to his nostrils to mask the smell, at least a small amount.
In his free hand hung his Mk.23, somewhat loosely yet still ready to fire. Taking another step forward, Nathan felt the familiar squish of gore on the floor and immediately took another step, his footstep making a bloody print on the ground. Everything seemed quiet, and he proceeded carefully forward, making sure not to step on any bodies, just in case. Eventually the destruction lessened, and the area became notably nicer. Some cabinets were still tightly shut, small locks holding them closed from outside intruders. Obvious no one had thought to use a gun on them, and as Nathan leveled off his Mk.23 at the nearest one, he pulled the trigger and watched shrapnel spray out form all sides.
With the destruction of the lock, the cabinet doors flung open and Nathan closed the distance to peer inside. Various different medicines varying from some sort of green substance to morphine rested dormant in the cabinet, and Nathan took his sweet time in finding something to carry it all.
It wasn’t long after popping open the cabinet that he came across a small first-aid kit, attached to the side of a cabinet. Nathan could only imagine it was for emergencies, and quickly pulled the small metal box off it’s hinges, meeting little resistance on the way. Next, he circled back to the open cabinet and began to pop in as much medicine as he could into the box, and even filled most of his pockets as well. When he felt like he’d had enough (and had almost cleaned out the cabinet) he headed back to the elevator, and left back to the first floor. Hopefully, Logan had finished what he’d needed to, and they could continue on.
(Nathan came and left the 2nd Floor)

(-James and Alex Enter-)
“I’m feeling a bit ‘peculiar,’ so guess what? I know a guy, who knows a guy, who… You get the picture, in other words, I’d rather not give you detailed reasons why; but I’ve got a grasshopper that’ll probably bounce around these buildings in a while. Unfortunately, I don’t know the when, where, and how questions you may have…. That is, less you’ve got some Revolver rounds dragging down your sleeves?” Alex said, straightening up against the corridor wall as he spoke, reaching for his Revolver with precision. The weapon slowly lifted from its holster and the barrel aimed down the corridor for a minute or so, before Alex’s tense grip was released and he let out a long sigh.
“Odd, I expected the bougie brigade to start marching down our way, guess there’s not as many on this floor as I thought. Four leaf clover for us, right comrade?” He chuckled, moving down the hallway, still pressed up against the wall. He reached the middle section, where the wall ended and transformed into a corner piece. Alex motioned back to James with his left hand, whispering, “Eyes on me!” He pointed at himself, before shoving off of the remaining wall, encompassing the middle section with the Revolver ready for defense. He finally stopped spinning, beckoning to James, “Come on James, we should be good. I can say, we’re not the first to adventure through this area. Someone else already read the book, wish we knew how it ends. Anyhow, I know you’re up the gutter, but try and search around for any items. Find me some ammo, and we’re in good shape.” Alex smirked slyly at James before disappearing into the Nurse’s Lounge.
“Take another section, will’ya, sooner we loot this cargo hold the faster we can get outta here,” Alex shouted back from inside the lounge. He cautiously stepped over broken bottles and miscellaneous glass. To his dismay, most of the drawers and cabinets had already been left opened. Someone, or more than one person, had already stepped up their competition. He frowned, pulling out the remaining few available drawers, but they were either empty or contained useless medical equipment. Another drawer was locked, but he avoided tampering with it, as the sign simply read “Staff Charts/Medical History.” He grabbed the door to the fridge, closing it after barely opening the door. The stench reached his nose, even before the sight, and he was clever enough to save himself the scarring image of rotted food and decaying meat.

James remained quiet while they moved through the second floor now deciding he hated hospitals it seemed like everything in them was there to freak you out, The lighting kept flickering on and off, The random peaces of hospital Equipment made there varying sounds at the worse times, And most everything smelled vile, But James managed he look through the things that hadn't already been thrown around but in the end he was only able to find some pain killers watch he took with him, Walking out of the room James move carefully over to where Alex was, James moved his head into the doorway checking out what Alex was doing, He was still searching and had just grabbed the door to the refrigerator and Alex did the smart thing by not opening it if he did there would be no telling what kind of disgusting, Filthy, Horrid, Nasty, Smell would fill the air.
"Good call." James said has he moved into the room looking at the thing scattered across the floor. "I think its pretty clear there isn't going to be anything useful look you said it you self, Someones already read the book, And they took the free prize that came with it, Lets move on." James walked out of the room checking the hall for anything not alive...then again it wasn't dead ether, He couldn't see anything but down the hall every other light was out making it harder for James to see, He looked back to see if Alex had fallowed him.

Alex grinned and waved his hand in the air, “That’s the ticket, we’re playing Chess on the same board now man, you’re a quick one to learn. Anyhow, back to our little adventure.” He exited the lounge, glancing down each hallway, a frown slowly coming over his face. There was nothing of value on this floor, searching it thoroughly would just be a waste of valuable time. The Hospital was a dangerous and useless place, anything price-worthy was either gone or destroyed. He needed to figure out another building to explore. Still, what part of the city was underused and worthwhile for profits? It seemed the Hospital was his best bet, but now that goal had been trashed.
“You know, I’ve always just loved goi-“ Alex began, but stopping abruptly at the sounds of moaning coming from both sides of the hallway. He swore softly, reaching for his Revolver, fumbling to lift it up to shoulder level. “Lighting’s too bad, I can’t see a bloody thing! Sounds like we’ve got a small procession coming from both sides… Uh… I don’t have a plan for this, I’m screwed…” His hands shook slightly as he held the handgun in front of him, cautiously moving forward from the center of the hallway to the left section, hoping to get a better sight at the group of zombies approaching. “We’re surrounded, both sides… I, u-uh, guess that leaves me with one elaborate scheme, eh?”
His confidence came back slightly as he looked back at James, “I got the info, you give me the answer, alright? And it better be the right one, I’ve got no idea, just hope you know what’s best. My guess is we can flip a coin and ‘Blitzkrieg’ down one of these corridors and aim for the stairs. Trouble is, we could wind up in hell of a lot more trouble. Other option, we could jump into one of these rooms and form our own trenches and defensive position, war or attrition, eh? Just the problem of running out of ammo or something. Your call, less you have a better idea? I sure hope you can tell me what to do, you’re a cop, I’m a con. What say you James?” He took a step backwards into the middle of the hallway, failing to make sight of the horde coming down the left side, not even bothering to check on the sounds coming from the right side.

James heard Alex dropping the responsibility of what to do on his shoulders, For some reason that seemed to happen a lot with anyone not just Alex James wondered why that was? Now wasn't the time to find out way fate always placed the most important decisions on James he could do that later, James started to ran the possibility's through his head they make a run for it, Plus there wont be cornered, And a higher chance to find a way out, But they could always make there way into a worst situation with even more members of the army of the dead could be there, They could always stay in one of the two or three rooms in the hall block it off and see if something better comes around, The plus about that would be there is a lower chance of not running to meet death at it door instead it would come to his, James hated making decisions like this and he hated Alex to some degree for making him do this.
"I think i have a plan." James said loudly in a strong and commanding tone so has to give the illusion that he knew what he was doing and that he has faith in the choices that he made. "Fallow me!!" James ran towards the room to his left-the one he searched not five minutes ago-while head to it he yelled to Alex. "Come on!" He got in the room and ran behind the door waiting for Alex before doing anything else.

“Aye, Captain speaks, better give the Cap’n what he wants,” Alex said, rushing into the room, “Hold the line, eh? Am I sensing a bit of trench combat? Seems like a stretch, but it’ll do. It’ll do, I might as well get prepared for the worse.” He hoped over a wooden chair, flipping it onto his side and pulling a nearby table closer, forming a small barricade in the back corner of the room. “Now James, I, uh… Kind of lied for the first time, though I believe you’d doubt that. Anyhow, I do remember one back-up plan, we could just nuke’m, though, I can’t guarantee our safety,” Alex continued, focusing on setting the rounds in his Revolver, plopping the handgun onto the table. He unlatched the Scorpion once more, fitting it up over the table, letting the tip face the doorway in a concentrated effort to save ammo.
Only a door or two away, the mob of zombies, at least eight or nine, continued to get closer. Their sorrowful and hungry moans grew louder as they approached, and the shadows could be seen sweeping the walls as they slowly walked onward. Alex let go of the Scorpion, letting it hang gently in place, facing the door. He held the Revolver in his left hand, nodding to James, “Alright, now now, let’s hear it. What’s the plan? We’re outnumbered, but we’ve got weapons. Unfortunately those guys’are gonna be stubborn, they are not going to retreat, therefore weapons will either be put to use in coordination, or we’ll still get swarmed. Tally’then, what do you think?”

as soon as Alex got in the room James walked around the room once taking note of a few things, After that he saw Alex set up his barricade and heard him start talking about the last plan he decided to leave out from the first time they where making there move, It didn't matter James never wanted to fight his way past them but it was the fact Alex had another plan and didn't inform James of it, Right now James had more important thing at hand he'd address the these things and more at a more suitable time, James moved over to the door shutting it and then pushed a cabinet full of a number of different medicines over the door effectively sealing off the room from the rest of the hospital...at least of now.
"I think we shouldn't worry about that any more." James now replying to what Alex said earlier, He began towards the windows looking down at what was below them he then turned back into the room looking up at the ceiling, After keeping his eyes out James as always lucked out he saw the air vent that would get them out of the room...assuming they can fit in it that is, James grabbed one of the other wooden chairs that were in the room setting it under the vent, he looked at Alex. "Keep an eye on the door." James after some trouble got the vent up but only because someone before him started to go this way and loosened the screws, He then peeked his head in it looking both ways it seemed alright for what he needed it for James jumped back down and looked at Alex."Do you want to go in first?" James asked with a smirk.

With a twirling motion of his right hand, Alex thought for a moment, before hopping over his makeshift barricade, picking up both weapons, and hurrying over to James. “Do I want to go in first? Normally I’d be the last to go in, but judging from the angry mob pounding at the door looking for a scapegoat, I’m totally all over this like maple on pancakes. Reading me Jim?” Alex swiftly escalated himself onto the chair, and squinting his eyes he stared into the dark abyss. He sighed, strapping the larger weapon back into place, “Man, man, then again, I’m having second thoughts. For all I know, this could lead to the elevator shaft, then we’re screwed. Boy, I ain’t ready to be crushed or splattered on the ground floor, but still, not ready to be eaten alive.” His voice flowed inconsistently between determination and weakness, witty remarks and logic were no longer available to aid him in his decisions.
“James, you’ve done a grand job so far, deserve a medal or something. Stomachs already down for the count, but you’re still trudging onward. Me? I’d take a forever nap if I ever even broke my leg in the middle of a crisis, it’s how I roll though,” Alex continued to quietly talk, almost as if he was procrastinating their next move. Finally he glanced at the Revolver still resting in his palm, “Well, here goes chance, I’ll secure the area though, just watch and see.” He flicked the handgun around, letting it drop down on the chair, “Not enough time for show-and-tell, but you mind holding onto this? Serve you a lot better than me, six shots with a powerful punch. It’ll do you some good for a quick draw, discard it when you run out.” He grinned, lifting himself up into the vent.
The Scorpion on his back constantly bumped up against the metal and pipes above him, but Alex was still able to pull himself through the maze of air ventilations. The vents turned left, followed by a long straight pathway, then turning left once more. “Blasted, let me push onwards, and get in here! Think I got a head on where this thing goes, might be my turn for a bit of brilliance in the stem, righto!? Maybe this thing drops off on the other side of the hallway. Perhaps there’s a section to cut through and land by the stairs, we can break out and get down to the first floor before those guys can even turn around.” Alex reached the end of the straight passage, taking the turn, but still unable to gaze down through any of the ceiling panels or vents.

"Okay sure." James took the gun from Alex and as he went through the air vent began examining it, Truly a beautiful weapon James didn't have the time needed to look over everything about it and so pocketed it and looked up to see that Alex was already going on James stepped onto the chair again and started to pull himself up through the vent, While doing so the shotgun was hitting against the far side of the vent which was keeping James stuck where he was standing, grabbing the gun from his back James threw it down and moved into the vent leaving the shotgun in the room.
After a few moments of moving through the vents at full speed James found Alex again and stayed behind him allowing him to take point, but James couldn't help but wonder what he had planed and where they were going and so said in a whisper, "Do you have a plan? Or at least a idea where we are?""

“Well, well, plan? Hmm, haven’t much in experience in using those, but I’ll give it a go. Let’s move up a tad, shall we? I’d rather not fall out on top of those guys, doubt they’ll lift me up like a singer in a concert. Rather, it’d be like a bug in a fly-trap. Enough jibbering,” Alex muttered back to James, still pulling himself through the narrow shaft. He finally stopped momentarily, easily grasping a panel and pulling it aside. Glancing down, the area below them was the same exact hallway, but they were once more at the beginning, safe by the double-doors leading to the stairs. The mob of ten or so zombies was slowly turning around to advance on their position.
“Com’n you lot, James, get down here stat! We got bougies advancing, and I’d rather not waste the little ammo I’ve got. Let’s scandle through the door and hurry down to the first floor, sound good? Now that, that my companion, that is a plan. Too bad it doesn’t involve money or food, more importantly money, but… Whatever,” Alex shouted after landing clumsily on the ground below them, dashing through the doors that were still being held open by the tray. He spun around, Scorpion at hand, setting his sights up in order to cover James once he had jumped down. “Wish I brought a flashlight…”

After Alex jumped down James began getting ready for his drop he was still hurt and didn't want to hit the ground to hard be what was he going to do about that, James moved his body so that his feet were in front and would hit the ground first he pushed forward with his and and started to fall and a moment later he was on the ground not as bad has he thought which for once was something he was happy about.
He ran towards the door a slight pain in his side that thanks to the adrenaline in his system he didn't even feel, While James was running towards Alex he began to wave his hand for him to keep going anf then yelled out. "Lets go! Lets go!" he ran past him and down the stairs tripping slightly when moving down the stairs.

Alex nodded, kicking the tray into the hallway, letting the doors slam shut. He took the stairs two at a time, catching up to James with no significant difficulty. “Plan, eh? Scaddle out the front of this complex and we’ll be home f-hold tally, getting a call from my parents,” Alex added in a rushed tone, slightly out of breath from their descent to the next floor. The green light on the side of his headset began to blink, and he tapped one of the buttons professionally, continuing to hop down the next section of stairs. “There we go, what’s up? Got the detail?” Alex questioned, turning his back to James and speaking with a quieter voice into the microphone.
“Indeed, full tank of fuel, we’re good to go. Just need you to meet at the rendezvous point with the stuff, copy?” the other end responded, mostly covered in static and high pitches. Alex fiddled with the door, finally shoving it open. The corridor leading into the first floor and lobby lay only yards ahead of them now, but Alex didn’t press onward. Instead, he turned over to the corner of the room, “Yea, yea cookies and milk. Listen, I ate all the cookies and drank all the milk. Supervised also, you know?” There was silence on the other end, but finally there was a response, “Disappointing, perhaps we can go treasure hunting another time. Get onto the roads and signal me, shake the sweat off you if possible.”
“But Mom! Anyhow, it’s no problem, you gotta sweat to keep on rolling, out BT,” Alex replied, grinning and returning his attention to James. Readjusting the headset, Alex chuckled, “Telemarketers, always call at the worst times. You know? Still, they can be of some fun, if you can control them without them knowing it. Alas, it’s hard to shake them off though, anyhow, you gonna be good getting down those stairs? We got a new mission log, credit is all mine. Though, that credit unfortunately is bound to become blame… What am I saying!? It’ll be fine!” Alex flipped his knife, pointing down the corridor with it, “We gotta hustle down to the garage, nab a vehicle and scram to the roads. Then, perhaps we can be airlifted to a safer location. I just have a hunch it could happen if we go double time.”
