James could not believe it he had to go back to the garage where he came from, it was funny in some way it James just couldn't see how yet but he'd find it funny one day, He took a step down and shook his head once not stopping James continued down moving one step at a time, He wondered if the car he took would still be here and if it was-which it surely would be who would take it, What kind of condition would he find it in oh well there's a lot more they could take most of which are better anyway.
Once James reached the door leading into the garage he stopped and awaited Alex James knowing that there was at least five members of the undead army in there didn't want to go it alone, He looked over at Alex and said in a light tone.
"Keep an eye out i know there's something dead in there that's why i"m being kind enough to let you go first." James held a hand out waving Alex in with it.
(Seeing how there in the garage now i"ll make sure it clear: James and Alex are now in the garage of the hospital, There we are, just to make sure its all clear Mask you make the next post.)

[Amanda and Clarissa enter the 2nd floor]
As the two girls made it up the stairs because of Clarissa's paranoia with elevators, she groaned and looked up at the ceiling. The entire hallway had been completely crowded with smelly bodies and broken medical instruments. She walked forward, looking about at the nurse's station and reaching her neck forward to look over the desks where a near completely decomposed body had laid of a nurse.
"Oooh man, that is gross...urgh, that's the rottenest I've ever seen 'em!" she exclaimed, covering her nose and mouth, feeling vomit reach up the back of her throat.
She pulled her hood back over her head as well in a fail attempt to keep the smell out of her hair. Not liked it matter though since she smelled like death, sweat, blood and possibly charcoal for reasons she'd rather not speak of...
Striding forward, she pulled her handgun out from under her jacket and first top, firmly gripping the weapon in her hands the way her father showed her before. Moving forward, the light fixtures began to flicker and there was a mild trembling that was noticable enough to force the duo to stop and look around, raising their weapons in a quite paranoid manner.
The rattling of equipment and empty pill bottles and syringes had startled the young girl up until one of the doors to a lounge had creaked open from the shaking, making her spin around, fixing her aim at any possibility of threats. She gasped, nearly dropping her gun as she peered into the room. All the while, the halls had abruptly stopped shaking, pieces of debris and dust crumbling from the ceiling slightly.
When Amanda ran up to her side, she could see the body of a doctor hanging from his self made noose created from his belt attatched to the ceiling's piping. His feet swayed side to side, exposing a few other bodies that laid behind him on couches, tables and a bloody heap of dead patients that were drug into one corner prior.
It was easy to assume since there were massive blood stains and smears leading to the said pile from different corners of the room. Why they hadn't reanimated yet had kept Clarissa uneasy.
"Christ..."
((Temporarily assuming Chris stayed behind the first floor to do, Chris things. Like pointing dramatically at men with sunglasses and accusing him of killing them with his own dirty hands, then commencing the calling him a "sonuva b*tch!" ))

Staring up at the corpse of the doctor who was suspended from a belt attached the to piping, Amanda only gazed into his lifeless open eyes. she could somehow sense happiness inside of those eyes, he was free from the horrors of Raccoon City. He didnt have to worry about finding shelter, finding food, surviving. Amanda wasnt a religious girl at all, she never really cared enough to think about all of it. But wherever the mans soul was now, anywhere would be better then down here alive on earth. It was a scary thought, but even she had considered it. Especially with nothing left to really life for, Rey was gone, she couldnt even keep her alive long enough to make a difference. "Theres no hope to move on, no motivation to keep surviving. Everything I do from the rest of my life onward will be meaningless..."
Amanda hated to have such a cold reason to just give up, but was she right? She definitly wasnt wrong, no matter what anyone thought. Even if they could outlive the infection, the world wouldnt be the same. After the first outbreak, she life changed. She was no longer then maturing adult she thought she was. When you grew up fearing the world at the age of twelve, you dont know anything better then running for the remaining years of your existance. Amanda was dazed by the corpse, which seemed to be swaying back and fourth in a mezmeric pattern. It was until then that the limbs of the body jerked around, a loud moan escaping from the zombies mouth, as it choked on maggots and swung around interal organs from countless gaps in its body. Amanda cried out, falling to the floor, tears of horror filled her eyes as he closed them and scrambled away from the rotting flesh that dripped down ontop of her.

A shot rang off and a smoking hole had appeared inbetween it's eyes. The corpse was once again, lifeless. It's feet swayed beneath it, a smelly, gunky, liquid had excreted from the hole in it's head. Little ways behind the terrified, Amanda, Clarissa stood firmly, his sidearm fixated in an angle as the barrel itself smoked slightly.
She stared up at the body through her own tear-ridden eyes, her cheeks flared with heat and her stomach churning. She'd listened to Amanda's words previously but she hadn't really felt the same. Not in the least. Although it was probably different seeing as though she was a tiny girl in Raccoon when her dad found her. Or so he explained. Somehow, she couldn't remember any of those horrors. So the past didn't bother her one bit.
Still though, this image before her and Amanda had been too much. Just way too much for them to see. Clarissa lowered her arms and glanced down at the woman, kneeling down and placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't get any crazy ideas. There's still hope, Amanda. C'mon, let's find some firstaid," she told her, trying to help her up. The teen stood up to her feet once more before the entire room quaked again, this time it was larger and pushed both of them back down in an attempt to keep from colliding into anything. The light fixtures had cut off completely, everything went pitch black.
"Oh crap!" Clarissa exclaimed, freaking out as she reached toward the pocket in her bag for her flashlight. There were multiple sounds of mono-esque groans, some slushing noises as well. Amanda and Clarissa both identified them well, it was the undead. Possibly the ones in the very room the doctor was in. This wasn't boding well for the two.
At this very moment as the young girl felt around for her flashlight, she lowly yelped out for her father. She'd give anything for him to be there with her. Or even John would be very comforting about now.
"Back away slowly, Amanda," Clarissa whispered in desperation.

Amanda took out her cellphone, and opened up the LCD screen, turning it on and shining the light around. It wasnt able to go very far, but it was just enough to guide their way out of the room and into the hallway leading to the bathrooms. She could tell the infected were following them by the sounds, but it would take only a few of them to follow, which thinned them out some. After getting into the locker rooms, Amanda closed the door, and put the dead bolt lock on it. There was no way they were getting through now, and they were safe inside the changing area. Ironically enough, they happened to be in the females changing room, not that it mattered.
"Im, sorry for back there... Ill try to stay possitive. Its just not my thing..." Amanda was rarely ever possitive, but she would try to maintain a sense of reality, and focus on survival. Amanda lay the phone on a bench in the center of the room, and it lit up a good portion evenly. They could at least catch their breath for a little bit, without worrying about the infected getting in.

Clarissa sighed and sat back on one of the benches across from the lit up cellphone which she coulda swore she saw Amanda throw out earlier, shrugging she pulled her knees up to her chest, afraid of letting them on the dark floor.
"Trust me, it's for the best to stay positive otherwise you'll lose your mind....you don't want that, trust me..." she trailed off before feeling a hard lump in her stomach. She raised a brow and stuck her hand in her jacket pocket, pulling out the cylinder. Much to her suprise she groaned, flipping a switch and releasing a shaft of light.
She'd found her flashlight. She pointed the light at Amanda's face and then over at a few of the corners of the locker room. Loud thumping on the doors could be heard coming from the otherside. It was nervewrecking.
"I miss my dad and John. If they were here, I don't think we'd be in this predicament..." she trailed off, frowning. After a moment of silence, she realized Amanda had probabaly wondered who she was talking about. The young girl kept the light illuminated on the doors, back and fourth.
"My dad's missing, I sent out a distress signal from the RPD...er, well, whatever's left of the RPD, I mean there was some giant ass monster thing there that chased me out. I'm not sure if he got it, he was part of S.T.A.R.S. branch of the B.S.A.A. so maybe he knows I'm alive and will come lookin for me....if not, I can hope that John, this boy my age I spent months with, will find me. We had to split up thanks to some big ass man-eating worm that ripped up half the town, he was on the other side, unfortunately. I know he's alive too, he's tough...he was my friend..." she explained.
It probably didn't matter too much about her past to Amanda, but it felt good to be able to talk about it. It'd been an entire year since she got to talk to anybody and that hadn't boded well for her mentality. Either way, since they were stuck here, someone had to say something.
Of course it wasn't too soon afterwords that there was creaking coming from above. Bits of drywall crumbled down and there was another, large, quake. Both girls moved away from the area that seemed to have collapsed from above, a body falling through and catching onto a thick piping that hung from the inside fo the newly formed hole.
"Ah s***!" the man yelled, dangling and kicking his feet. Clarissa winced and shined the light up at him. "Uhhh, you okay?" she asked.
The tanned man winced, looking down at the two women he could barely see but could immediately make out the woman. "Amanda?" he asked, shocked.

Partway through listening to Clarissas story, Amanda had thought about a BSAA agent who had been frequently flying around Raccoon City. She dialed a number, already in the recently dial list, but got a voicemail that came up instead. But, she decided to leave one. When Clarissa was done, Amanda spoke into the phone with a calm, quiet voice. "Tell Arc that another survivor and I are inside the Raccoon City hospital, second floor..." Before she could say anything else, there was a loud crash and rumble around the room.
After the dust cleared away, Amanda heard a voice say her name, but she had no idea who it was. Trying to get a clearer look at his face, there wasnt enough clear air to make out exactly who it was, but he definitly knew him. She was a little scared to answer, there was only a few people left on earth who knew that name. "...Who are you...?"

The man tried grasping noto the pipe but it tore and sent him dropping onto his ass. With a loud thud and a grunt, he groaned and struggled to stand up. Clarissa on the other hand had stared at him almost mistaking him for John.
When she shined the light on his face, he was a much older man, more than likely somewhere around her father's age. Although it was odd that the resemblence between him and her lost friend were uncanny.
"What's goin on, who are you?" she asked as well as Amanda. She noticed a wave of astonishment in Amanda's face when she got a clearer look at him. The tanned man shook some of the settled dust out of his black hair.
"Jake, urgh, Jake Farlund...who are you and where the hell have you been, Amanda? Where's Katie?" he asked, looking around to see if his old ally was around too. Atleast he felt a little better knowing Amanda was alright. Katie was the other person who had helped claim his guilt.
"Clarissa and who's Katie? You guys know eachother?" she asked quite confused. Before long the sounds of creaking floors and inevitably beedy, red eyes had looked down upon the trio from the hole above.
Several, unusually large bats had swooped in, biting at them, forcing Clarissa to drop her flashlight and flail her arms as they chewed at her hoodie, trying to get to her flesh.
Jake, blindingly had batted at them with his shotgun, grumbling a couple of crude explicitives. "Get em off!" they heard Clarissa growl.

Before Amanda could respond to Jake, she too had noticed the bats gushing out and swarming them all in seconds. She had began to swing her arms around, feeling his fingers touching the furry airborn rodents. She wasnt scared of very many things, but went crazy when she delt with stuff like this. They were ganging up on her aswell, ripping away at her white vest, and even at her hair, which made her scream. But suddonly, there was a loud ring coming from the cellphone in her pocket. Through all of the movement, the phone fell out and slid across the floor, the ringtone beeping a melody on the other side of the room. The bats in the area all stopped attacking them, and went for the cellphone, as it was making the highest pitch.
They could all take this time to run, but the infected were just outside the doorway, and it would cause even more problems for them. Amanda made a quick choice, diving for the cellphone, and hurling it out of the glass windows. The bats all followed the ringing, and pooled outside of the room, untill al that was left was the thumping at the doorway. Breathing heavily, Amanda lay on the ground, still shaking shaking and wiping at her arms where the bats had been attacking. Just thinking about the sound have her the shivers.

((I'll reply here and then tonight I'll reply as Alex. I'm just having alot of issues right now, so my posting is really slow...I'm sorry..))
When Amanda's cell flew out the window along with every single bat, Clarissa yelped and shivered a bit, pulling her hood off of her head which protected her from the little bites. It all happened so fast, Clarissa's head felt like it was spinning from adrenaline. The teenager quickly picked up her fallen flashlight and fixated it on Jake and Amanda who were not that far apart.
Amanda was lying on the ground, freakin' out and rubbing at her arms, Jake was scratching at some of the left over scratches left by the big ass bats. He raised a brow and looked down at Amanda, reaching down and pulling her up to her feet. He brushed her off and sighed.
"Calm down, kiddo. It'll be alright, they're gone now," he said to her in a father-like way. Clarissa tilted her head and smiled. "Well now, I didn't know you had a dad, Amanda!" Clarissa said, brightening the mood.
"Oh yeah, illegitamate daughter, it was along time ago, the 90's were such a blur," Jake replied, chuckling and slinging his weapon behind his back.

No! Theyre still in here!" Amanda moved herself away from Jake, who helped her to her feet. She ran over to the window, looking outside as they fluttered around the parking lot. Quickly spinning around, she moved along the wall, looking around from where they had all came in, and imagined more of them flying down any second. She stared intently, while moving around the room with her back to the wall, scared out of her mind. Finally, when she hit the corner of the room, Amanda back herself down, and covered her ears. Whatever the bats had done, the chirping was ringing back and forth in her head.
It was the mixture of adreanalin and fear, along with the sensitive hearing that burned the sound inside of her ears. To Amanda, it sounded as if the bats were still flying around her. Reaching for her gun, she was mortified when it wasnt in her jeans pocket. It mustve fallen somewheres on the floor in the scramble. Amanda wasnt paying much attention to Jake or Clarissa, only that one of them would make the flying nightmares go away for good.

Clarissa and Jake both exchanged glances before making their way toward the young woman curled into the corner. Clarissa set her flashlight down, right side up, rays of light illuminating the small area. She knelt down, trying to shake her shoulder gently. The young girl frowned, not knowing what to do. She'd never dealt with someone like this before.
"Amanda, it's alright, calm down...they're outside now, they can't hurt you," she tried, knitting her eyebrows together. Jake looked down at the young girls and rubbed the back of his neck, not sure what to inject into this situation. He only found himself kneeling beside her as well, reaching into his rear pack and shuffling around, pulling out a compact flashlight that could fit into the pocket of her vest. (SH ref ftw)
"Here," he said, hoping it'd make her feel better. Clarissa raised a brow at the man. "What's a flashlight gonna do for her?" she asked.
"Think of it as a nightlight, Amanda. I've had that for years, helped me get through alot. Just hold onto it," he told her, smiling. The girl took it and looked down at it, Clarissa could tell she was still very shaken up.
"Amanda, c'mon, get up, let's find a way out of here so the bats can't hurt ya, okay?" the little girl said, also smiling at the young woman. She held her hand out and nodded a bit.
"Let's go through that hole, Jake can give us a lift, eh?"
"Yep."

When both Jake and Clarissa could be seen next to her, Amanda then realized that the attackers were no more, but the sound was still ringing through her mind. Everything came back into focus when they began speaking, especially Jakes words. The tone of voice was all too famillier, she had heard it before. Feeling the flashlight fitted into the pocket of her vest, Amanda put her hand over it, feeling it securely in place. Being able to see through the darkness directly in front of her was a satisfying feeling, like there was nothing to be afraid of anymore, like nothing even happened. Finally, she stood up, and walked with the other two.
Looking up at the hole, Amanda could see that it wasnt as dark and scary as she pictured it too be. Not with the light shining on it, she could just see the next floor up, which she presumed from past experience to be the Operating Room. "O-okay..." She studdered out briefly. Amanda stood back as Jake easily gave Clarissa a boost up into the room through the hole. After that, she was readying herself to go up as well, picking up her handgun and placing it back inside her jeans before being elevated into the third floor.
[Jake, Clarissa, and Amanda are now in the 3rd Floor of the Hospital]

[Alex and Arc are now on the 2nd floor]Alex took another glance down the hole they climbed through. He frowned and looked around, wondering just where the hell the could've gone. Not long after, he slapped his forehead, muttering a few things under his breath. Looking at Arc, he starts moving down the hallway, looking for a staircase. "Roof, they had to have gone for the roof somewhere, right? Let's get there," he said, walking briskly. ((Kinda in a hurry, sooo, have something badass happen! ))

Thats being said, Arc was thinking about how they could have gotten up to the rooftop. The elevator was out, so that wouldnt have been the escape plan, and the closest thing elsewhere would be a set of stairs. An emergency exit would have to be in place. The main doors werent big enough to fit 500 people, the exits would have to be split between them. Easy access to the roof in an emergency was a necessity, shouldnt be too complicated to find. "Hmmm, well in any case, its getting bright outside, my pilot should be just about ready for an extraction job. So when we do find these survivors, we can easily get them out of here. But im not going back to the BSAA Headquarters anytime soon, so if your staying with me, I hope your down for some unsafe working conditions..."
Partway through a response to the comment, there was a loud group of moaning coming from the hallway adjacent to them. Arc and Alex had to get out of the area before the infected were onto them, or it would make finding the exit stairs even more complicated then just a simple trial and error search. Running for the end of the hallway, Arc knew from past experience there would be a small reference map somewheres in the lounge area. Looking at Alex, he gave him a nod, as if readying him for a door breach. In that moment, Arc raised his heel, and then let it down on the door handle, and waited for Alex to followup with a barge inside.
