(I dont think four days is long enough to say he's dissapeared. I think we should wait another day or two.)

((( Well okay. There's still room for him to do something sense moving slightly into a room isn't that much of a change )))

(OOC: Though I also agree that four days isn't exactly "inactive", it's best to keep our momentum going and leave him in a place that can easily be picked up from. Also, lets go crash the party on the second floor. ). As they set Desmond down on the table, Simon tilted his head, hearing gunfire from the upper floors. Instantly, he was on guard, listening further for the roar of monsters or explosions. They weren't alone, that was apparent from the moment they stepped inside, but Simon never guessed that others would be fighting upstairs. Was there a gunbattle raging, or was there a monster upstairs? Simon didn't want to get caught between the TSTU and a monster, but this warranted investigation. "I hear gunfire" he said, again resisting the urge to slap himself for pointing out the obvious. Motioning with his hand, Simon peeked out of the doorway, and glanced, looking for the nearest stairwell.

Richard had heard the gunfire upstairs as well. He showed little sign that he had actually heard it, short of his eyes wandering up to the roof. He slipped his Sig Sauer back into its holster and brought the M4 back to his front. He brought it up and gripped in front of the magazine well as well as the grip of the weapon. He looked at Desmond, wondering if they should keep him there or try and take him with. No, that wouldn’t work. The last thing they needed was for him to take advantage of the danger and confusion of a full on firefight and escape.
“B… Jam door. We go see what about gunfire.” He said, trying to say barricade and that they’d go see what the gunfire was about. He knew they got the gist of what he was saying, and moved to the door. As soon as he was in front, he opened it up and raised the rifle. The stock was at its shortest setting, allowing for quick shouldering and firing if he needed. He looked out into the hallway for signs of something coming, and saw nothing. He gave them the all clear signal and went out. After checking to make sure they were following him, he made his way to the stairwell and went up.
(Group now on Second Floor.)
