Raelynn eyed the man with suspicion, slowly lowering her gun she slipped it into her jacket after putting on the safety. If the area was that empty then maybe her brother hadn’t made it to Raccoon City or had been placed somewhere entirely different. Or had Izzy lied to her? She couldn’t see her friend doing something like that but it was a possibility.
“This would be my first time here. My camp was over run, someone told me my brother was transferred over to Raccoon City. But if there is no one here I don’t see why I was told that.” Raelynn’s lips curved into a frown, worry creasing her brow.
A tour guide? She looked around the place, how else was she going to get around without managing to get herself killed. Raelynn nodded “Sure. Not like I know the place. I’m Raelynn by the way.” she held out a slender hand that was encased in a smooth leather glove. “Do you happen to know where Arklay Mountains are? That was another destination that someone suggested I check out.” Raelynn questioned with indifference, her voice not as hysterical as it had been before; her voice was now smooth and low almost silky.

Joey looked at Raelynn, there was someone she knew with a similer name, someone close to her. Pretty like her too, just much younger, of course. She mentioned something about a camp, that would imply that she was with others. There werent many camps around, unless of course she was with the military, but she didnt look it. But having Arklay Mountains a point of intrest? Maybe she was part of the military, or at least her brother was. Never the less, Arklay was the direction he could be going easily, he had something to take care of there anyways, the forest was just off the highway. "Hey... The woods is just down there. Dont worry, I know those woods like the back of my hand. I think I know the place your looking for... Were better off this way, but your gonna have to leave your bike..."
Joey looked at Raelynn, and then motioned, then gave jog toward the side railing. Vaulting himself over the edge, he rolled down the ditch, and into some shubbery near the fireline. She didnt expect her to get down the same way he did, but the ground was soft enough to not worry about the impact. As he walked out of into the clearning, Joey looked up at the woman, and then waved. "Watch your step, now... Its not gonna get you there faster if you hurt yourself..." He aimed his rifle into the treeline, and then scanned around for any signs of movement, he could take them out for a distance without worrying about getting too close.

Raelynn watched the man, Joey carefully, she generally wasn’t the suspicious type but after being in these conditions for a while you get a feel for the way people behave in such circumstances as these. And Joey seemed almost at ease in the chaos. That generally spelled bad, but it could be to her advantage. At least he knew what he was doing, where he was going and he might even help her out. One thing was for sure, she wouldn’t let her guard down. Not from him or being in a forest where anything could pop out at any moment.
Unhooking the saddle bags from her motorcycle, Raelynn attached them to her back pack. She could last on what was in this thing for about a week without any humanized resources. She had listened in on the survival meeting at the camp and had packed accordingly.
“What place do you think I am looking for? I, myself am not even sure of that.”
Raelynn jogged after Joey, stopping at the side railing she looked down. Watching Joey roll down the ditch she raised her eyebrows. There was no way she was going down there like that. Raelynn stepped over the side railing and held on, slowly lowering herself until she had to dig her feet into the ground, unfortunately her plan not so well executed as Joey’s she fell the rest of the way and landed on her ass. Luckily it was only about a foot and a half. Her backpack took most of the fall but she would probably have a bit of a sore butt for a bit.
“Ouch.” she pouted and swatted the dirt and dead leaves from her backside. “Are there many… of the… them around?” Raelynn pointed to a zombie that was about 20 yards from where they stood.

Joey slightly gasped to himself as Raelynn had fell, but kind of smirked it off to himself. She seemed fine, so it wasnt much to worry about. The packs on her would make mobility somewhat harder, or at least not as easy as he moved, but she had her own supplise. He wasnt too needy, everything was still stocked up in his place, which still hadnt been over run with the infected. As she spoke, he was paying more attention to the treeline. But once she had pointed far down the open area, he noticed the infected. He pulled the rifle up to his eye, and aimed through the scope steadily with his arm. "There wont be too many out here... But inside the city..."
Joey paused, and then fired a single round far. Watching as the corpse fell onto the ground two seconds later from the headshot, he lower his rifle, and then looked back at Raelynn. "...Theres more then you can count... Unless you have a deathwish, or important business, id stay clear of that place altogether..." Pausing again, Joey looked around the area, making sure there wasnt any others he missed. It was getting dark out, great time to be in the woods, he thought sarcastically. After he was satisfied it was clear, he turned back to the woman Raelynn again, and then made a serious face. "Heh, well... By the sounds of it, your looking for the Military Camp on the other side of forest... I can take you there, but you gotta do me a favor in return..."
Looking up at the sky, as a string of dark clouds passed infront of the moon, he knew it wouldnt be as easy as just hiking. It was pretty dangerous in the daylight, but when you cant see whats attacking you, things get a bit harder. As his serious face dimmed out into a smile, he looked at her again, and then spoke. "... My damn light went dead... You got any batteries? Double AA's? Or im afraid we wont be going anywheres tonight..." Youd think after all the time he spent hiking in the woods at night he wouldve invested in a pair of NVG's. But he had to make due with what he had, and right now, he didnt have much. A stop at his place before they went to where they were heading would be needed, for a lot more reasons then one...

Raelynn’s eyes followed the point of his gun, the shot was perfect. The distance, she hadn’t shot something that far with a handgun since… well it had to have been at least six months. “A military camp. I wonder if they have faired better then my old camp outside of Washington.” she murmured, in thought. Her thoughts didn’t last long when the last of his sentence phased her.
::.But you gotta do me a favor in return..::
She looked at him sharply, but she laughed as he explained himself “That is the only problem. Isn’t it? Our society was brought up and throw away toys. I had a flashlight until a small incident involving someone running over it but it was one of those ones you didn’t need batteries. Now I’m in the same boat as you. Except I have batteries.” she winked. Luckily she had Double A’s. Slipping one of the padded shoulder straps of the backpack from her arm she swung the large pack around and opened up one of the compartments. She pulled out two batteries with an elastic around it. It signified that they were new and fully juiced batteries. She held them out to him, her hand was small “Here, it’s the least I could do.
She pulled out her own flashlight and her gun. “I guess we can’t be to careful with the sun going down.” Her lips twitched as if wanting to smile and yet she couldn’t the same sadness that engulfed her delicate features, she looked a little tired too.

Joey grinned at her wink as he took the batteries, it was perfect that she had some. He would, without a doubt, owe he. After placing the batteries into his own flashlight, he flicked the switch on, and then clipped it onto the top of his shoulder. Tilting his head toward her, not wanting to shine the light directly into her eyes, he spoke out with a greatful tone. "...But just so you know..." Trailing off, Joey clipped his rifle away, and pulled out his handgun. It was better to use a gun for close range, nothing out be worth hitting a far in the woods, the infected were too stupid to manuver the branches. Looking back at Raelynn to finish his sentence, he spoke in the same ton. "...I dont beleive in 'even stevens'... You save my ass, I save yours..."
Nodding, and then taking move into the forest, Joey left at a moderate pace so that Raelynn would be able to follow him closely. The last thing he wanted was for her to get lost in here, he would never forgive himself for letting someone else go so easily like that. Kind of an oath me had made to himself, the code of a knight. Protect the innocent, guide them through the dangers that lie ahead. It seemed a but medivel, but it still stood true, even in this day an age.
Judging my the flora of the wood, they were at least three miles from the stream, which they would need to cross to get to where they were going. Things kept quiet, but it was definitly for a good reason, as the both of the ventured further into the Arklay Forest.
[Raelynn and Joey now in Arklay Forest]

[Alyssa Rose Lozier has entered Route 104]
Alyssa traveled down the wreckage of all the cars in Route 104, heading towards Raccoon City. All that she could do is head back to the horrors of Raccoon City, it would take days to walk to Stoneville from here, so she continued on. Every now and then, stopping to breathe. She was currently afraid of what was lying ahead, because she had seen horrible creatures as a child in the labs her parents used to test the T-Virus.
She heard the shuffles of footsteps and a groan, and turned around with her gun aimed towards the source of the sounds. Nothing. She scanned the area to find that there was not a trace of any zombie living. "Sneaky little creature." she thought, and began to walk slowly, with her gun in both hands, aiming around. She heard another groan, and turned around, and again, didn't find anything. She sighed, and turned around to find a crawling zombie right next to her, trying to take a bite of her foot. She let out a scream, and kicked the zombie in the head and fired one round to pierce it's skull before it could get up, killing the damned creature.
Suddenly, three loud barks were heard around the highway. Three dogs revealed themselves from hiding, appearing to the front of her. She stood there quietly, taking slow steps back to avoid them, when the dogs rushed her. She ran backwards, and tried to fire bullets at them. Only one of the bullets hit its target, and the canine was sent flying through the air, but got up again, and chased her. She reloaded her weapon and fired at the same dog, this time, the dog layed there in its own pool of blood.
One of the canines lept at her, and tried to take a bite, when she ripped out her pocket knife, and stabbed the poor sucker through the skull. She took her knife back, and began running.
The last dog was a pit bull, at least /was/ a pit bull before it's infection. Alyssa fired several bullets at it, piercing it, but it still kept running. "So your tougher than the others, more fun for me." she thought, and grew a smirk on her face. She stopped there, and stood, waiting for the pit bull to grow closer and closer. Finally, when the pit bull jumped at her and was in mid-air, she fired. The bullet went right through its eye, and it fell to the ground. The dog whimpered a bit, and was still shaking. Alyssa aimed for it's brain, and then, a gunshot rang. The dog was dead.
Alyssa looked around, the road was clear, for now at least.

Ahote Chua Enters Route 104.
I emerged from The now useless Humvee, Covering my eyes from the harsh light of early Morning. I Study my surroundings. I notice that not much had changed from what I saw last night, As I pulled off the route 104 to Help stay away from any ghouls and or raiders. I Closed my eyes for a moment. Listening for any distant ghoul moans. Nothing I relaxed for the time and checked my gear. The Route was about a mile away. I had driven Down a old service road. And to a old power line station. It was Fenced off. I had driven to the left a bit off to the side and covered my track before heading off to sleep and checked the area as well. I Sighed, And began my solitary trek back to the route.
15 minutes later I heard the first signs of life I'd heard in ages. Cars...Being cautious I Produced my .45 in my left hand The tomahawks Head in my right hand. The bone shaft of the tomahawk Ran along the barrel. It was a technique I developed in my years of working with the organization. A way I could Easily Fire my weapon and if needed use my tomahawk for melee use. Just as a wise man said..Blades don't need to be reloaded. I took that to my advantage, The shaft help hold the gun still, keeping the gun kick free.
I pushed threw the brush for another 15 minutes Taking my time on the rough terrain. I could see the route from the edge of the forest. Cars Leaving the city. In a panicked state. I was astonished for a moment. Confused, I had thought the city was forsaken..But that would be answered only a moment later as I saw Ghouls tearing into the flesh of a victim.
"..Gonna Have. Ta Puta Bullet in 'er brain. If they don't kill her."
I thought. It would be painful for only a second. Then it would all end...Better than having her turn into a ghoul.. I glanced around studying my surroundings and Watched as a Teenage brightly dressed female Step out of her car.
I lowered myself to a kneeling position. I didn't need to get caught up in this. He was only here for one thing. My father. But..I cant let more ghouls come into this world. I raised my head and watched as the girl dispatch ghoul, and spun around quickly and I noticed she whispered something but from all that was happening I couldn't tell what she said. She paced for a bit as nervously, and screamed. Violently kicking the ground and shooting her pistol. It somehow looked...bigger than what her hands really should hold like it was her fathers or something..It was silenced. m9 class. Standard for many Militant operation's. other than that it was not that customized. I figured she was bitten by a crawling ghoul. Adding to my list of who to shoot in the head I silently crept out of the woods. and snuck up to a car before she noticed me. Thats when the Cerberus's came. I grimaced as i watched from behind her.
"This isn't gonna end well. Crap.. That m9 Looks to have a sixteen round clip. She won't have enough bullets to stop them all. I'll have to mask my shots and shoot only a second before her. Here I go."
I thought hoping she wasn't hostile or she didn't notice that my .45 rounds where going to stop at least two of them.
I Watched he feminine body tense up and ready to fire just as the dogs charged. and I Fired at the dogs to the left and right. Double taping as i went adding a hammer effect to the bullets. Killing the first two with the added help of her bullets. I tucked back behind the vehicle I was using to keep me out of her sight. I didn't hit the bigger one I know. But I hoped I helped. And then I heard a thud. And I peered from around the vehicle to see her shoot the Bigger dog. Sending a bullet into deep into its brain. Then returned and expeled my clip And silently Refilled it

Alyssa searched around for a car that looked in decent shape. "Nothing here," she sighed and looked at the distance she was to Raccoon City. She had at least three miles to re-enter the city, but even then she would have to walk longer if she was going to find any civilization at all. She stomped her foot in anger. It was her fault that she left Raccoon City in the first place, or even came to Raccoon City, but that was the past. Now she really was in danger for the second time, and she needed to face it.
Alyssa kneeled and examined the dead bodies of the cerberus, to see if they were really dead, or just injured. One thing she noticed instantly was that there were more bullets in each dog then she had fired. She rose from the ground with her gun at ready, and began to scan the area, searching behind every car she passed, but she didn't find anything. Then, she heard something clicking. It was a rather silent click, but she still heard it. She crept over to the see what it was, and found a person.
When Alyssa found the man, she lowered her weapon. "Just a human." she whispered under her breath. Normally she wouldn't talk to another person, but this was a special case, and she needed to communicate.
"Hey," she began to speak, "I guess you helped me, so thanks. she thanked the man in a rather short expression. The man appeared to nod, probably saying, "Your welcome" through motion. "What a quiet man." She thought. She liked how he was rather silent. It meant he wouldn't annoy her that much.
She glanced at the man one last time, and then finally turned away. She found a car that looked like it could work, but the keys weren't in the ignition. She sighed, and turned back to the man.
"Sorry for asking, but do you have a working vehicle?" she asked, "I'm trying to get into Raccoon City. It would probably be safer in a more closed environment then wide open spaces."
Her statement was probably true, in the city, if they barricaded themselves into the right building into the right building, they would only have one entrance to worry about at a time. Better that than an open highway, or was it? That didn't matter, she had more to do in the city anyways. She needed to get more ammunition, look for survivors, and more importantly, find out what happened to her father during the first outbreak.

I nodded at her questions. And stood, for a moment Pushing the clip into my Px4 .45, And then Pressing on my way I wasn't in a talkative mood. I made my way towards the first victim The one who's heart was still beating. She looked to be in her early twenty's. Her ghoul attackers Were shot. And she was left to bleed out and turn into one of them. Her Mind slipping away into death. I sighed. As she reached out to me as if trying to say.
"H-Help....M-Me..."
I Grimaced, covering my eyes with my right for arm. I rose my .45 and shot a round into her head. A stream of coagulated blood shot from her wound. And her eyes Rolled back. "Brain dead... At least she didn't feel it..." My voice strained Like a Lowly candle in the wind. "I Don't Have a working...Vechile Sorry." I coughed. Talking took alot of my vocal strength. Then I set out back to the edge of the route and Checked my equipment again, And checked my barrings I was heading towards the city. It was visible from here but just barely. "If you wanna live....Stay off the Main road....I'm off. Don't get in my way if you follow...Got it?" MY raspy voice cracked.
I Grunted As Holstered my Px4, Noticing it was gonna rain soon. The clouds Looming overhead. I Then took the Tomahawk my father gave me And stored it in my sling back bag on my chest. I glanced back at the girl. She didn't seem hostile, and that was good. She looked to young to know anything of fighting. She shouldn't even be holding a gun. But I tore my piercing gaze from her. I closed my eyes. Listening to the local noises trying to pick out something that sounded familiar. Helicopter blades... Chopping in the distance. But It wasn't that noticeable. The vibrations weren't here yet, And there were plenty of Other noises to distract the girl from hearing the very choppy humming in the distance.
I Worried. I stood motionless for a moment. Spinning around, I stared at her Again, in a peirceing manner, And proceeded to speak"Copter. Move. Now. And spun again Reaching for my pack It had a Snipers veil in it. I removed it. Pushed threw the Brush clearing a path for her. she was wearing Bright clothing and the veil would disguise that, and with the woods helping. The copter wouldn't spot her. "Hurry up." I strained holding the veil out and the brush back so she could Get into the forest easily and wrap herself in the veil.

Alyssa just watched as them man prepared to fire a bullet at the woman's head, execution style. As the bullet rang throughout the sky, birds scattered around in the sky. Alyssa stood there, quiet as ever. The female zombie stopped breathing, it was dead. To Alyssa, it seemed that this man was rather cold at, but she respected the decisions he made so far. It was smart to eliminate the zombies before they could transform into the blood-colored improved zombies, called, "Crimson Heads".
"I Don't Have a working...Vechile Sorry." the man had replied to her earlier question, and followed with, "If you wanna live....Stay off the Main road....I'm off. Don't get in my way if you follow...Got it?" Alyssa decided that it would be best to stay in a group, even if this man didn't like to communicate, so she tagged along with him, but stayed silent, obeying his wishes.
The man seemed very professional in the way he worked. He worked swiftly and efficiently, two traits that Alyssa wished she had more of, but didn't have. This man obviously had dealt with this type of situation in the past, but Alyssa just couldn't tell who he worked for. His uniform wasn't like the U.B.C.S. uniforms her brother used to have to wear, but he did seem as elite as her brother. Perhaps he worked with, or used to work with, another unit that had several traits the U.B.C.S. had.
"Judging by his voice, he obviously doesn't talk much. Maybe he just doesn't get that much of a chance to chat, or something, but I shouldn't ask, I wouldn't want to pick a fight with him." she thought.
After walking for a little while, she noticed that the man had stopped walking. "Copter. Move. Now."he commanded. "Wait, shouldn't we go towards it? They may be able to help." she asked, but could tell that the man was pushing for her to run into the woods, so she did as she was asked. She put on the veil, and started running towards the woods, letting the man work on his business.

"Yea. But Gas something expensive these days. And there are alot of militant groups around this area. I wouldn't like the chance of being shot in the back. or worse than that being captured" I voiced painfully. The words cutting into my vocal cords like tiny razors. "Sorry names Ahote." I said kneeling ,Compelling her to kneel under its shadow as to hide her vibrant colors, Near a Rock formation. It should provide ample cover and wasn't that far from the road. I neared it Checking it as The copter's blades chopped the as the vibrations arrived. The blades cutting threw the air. "...You hungry?...or thirsty for that matter?... Here You look rather...starveing."
I said reaching into my Dump pouch And pulling 2 nutrition bars out. They were In silver reflective wrapping but I concealed them from the light of early morning. And reached for my canteen on my side. opening it and handing to her. "Its purified water. Go ahead and that bar is about one and half pounds of vitamins It'll taste like a rice crispy treat if you know what they are. It full of about six-thousand calories, oh and it expands in your stomach so be for warned. It'll feel funny. I'll eat one to. So you don't think I'm trying to kill you...Sorry I don't talk much." I spoke letting my voice fade in and out.
I began to open my silver package and bit into it. Its contents expanding slowly. I swallowed The taste was amazing but I hadn't Eat anything this morning. so anything would have. But this was different. When this stuff hit your tongue Your body more than welcomed it. Making you just about eat the thing in a few bites. But slowly crunched into mine. Taking my reserve canteen from my Gear sling. and opening it and drank it contents and then sealed it again. "That should be enough for a day for me but maybe two for you." I said quietly .
Taking my Px4 out and reloading its clip and placed it on the ground and removed my tomahawk from my dump pouch. Placing it next to my hand gun, I then reached for my rocket pack. Making it thud on the ground. I opened it and pulled out a arrow sling and a bow string. Placed them on the ground next to the other weapons. I reached to my back and detached a wonderful colored-black, maroon string less bow. Its end curving a bit. I Coughed slightly. My voice aching. I placed my foot Out with and put one end of the bow near it after hooking the said end with a string. And then with one arm compressed the Bow and attached the string. Still munching on the Bar I Held in my mouth.
I closed the rocket pack, And put it back onto my load bearing suspenders hearing a nice clicking sound behind me. Making sure it was locked in place.I my gear sling back on and slung my arrow sling on the opposite should from it. I looked over all my Weapons. The .45 was outstanding. Top of its class. The tomahawk, Beautifully crafted and decorated. The bow and the arrows The arrows where Black And Razor tipped to slice right threw flesh. There where twenty of them. The bow it self was streamline and black as night Only a few maroon areas shown out. I Put the px4 Back into its shoulder harness. Leaving my Tomahawk and bow out. And began to eat the bar again.

"Thank... you. I'm Alyssa" said Alyssa when he handed her the nutrition bar. "It's fine that you don't talk much, by the way. I don't usually talk a lot either." she said, truthfully. "Well, ever since my father....Never mind." Alyssa stopped after almost letting out one of her secrets. She had forgotten that anyone left of Umbrella would be getting killed, and since her parents were in Umbrella, they might even mistake her for one of Umbrella's many personel.
She looked up at Ahote, and thought about him. He didn't seem like a bad person, he was actually pretty kind towards Alyssa at least. She observed as he reloaded his weapons, and was quite shocked when he even had a bow and arrow. Not a lot of people could fight with a bow, including herself. Her brother had tried to teach her in the past, but she never learned. Now she wished she had learned, because truthfully, a bow and arrow could be a better choice than a handgun, if used properly.
She took a bite of her nutrition bar, and stayed silent for a little while. After chewing, and swallowing, she took a sip of the water, which tasted very pure and tasty. She hadn't taken a drink of good water in while now. All she had was the gross tap water offered in Raccoon City. She took another bite of her bar, savoring the flavor. It wasn't often you had such a delicacy even in when the world as at peace.
Alyssa finished off the bar, and took another drink of water. After that, she stood up, and looked around the area. "You know, we won't be able to stay around here forever," she said. "We should probably move somewhere other than here. I think Stoneville isn't very far from here, but thats only a suggestion." Alyssa hinted towards the fact that Stoneville may be a good place to go.
Having been to Stoneville quite often in her travels, Alyssa knew the place pretty well, and thought she and Ahote may be able to hold a defense, or maybe even find one of her old friends still alive at the town, but then again, not many of her friends probably lived there after all these years. It had been fifteen years since she was at Stoneville, but she knew for a fact that the airport must still be there.
"Oh, and Stoneville has an airport. We can try and leave this state, or even this country all together." she stated the facts. "Maybe we would stand a better chance in another state."

I was silent for a moment. Hoping she would understand. His eyes were closed. His full attention was listening to the copters blades Copping in the distance. It Roared Over head as they where eating. Ahote Looked up as it passed. at an opening in the tree canopy I saw the copter pass. And on its tail I saw the Branch of the " The Organization I worked for, Threw the Maps I used to get here. I noticed It was heading in the direction of stone ville. I was Lost in thought...why would they be out here. I thought Raccoon was Forsaken.... "Theres gotta be more to this." I thought wildly. My face was filled with confuseion..I stood repacking all my Equipment and placing my bow around my shoulders.
"Your Father?, Well...To let you know.. I came to find out about mine as well. Funny how the world works...He was.." I stopped Distant Foot steps were approaching Not Ghoul ones...There were four...A militant group...It had to be..I had to think fast. The steps where approaching fast....'Tick...Tock...Tick..Tock.'
The sound of a old style clock, interrupting my thoughts I quickly grabbed the The wrappers of the bars hand looked over at the formation. With the veil he could only hide her, or himself. It was time to choose. The Girl who was now looking at him. it must have been his stressed and panicked face. I didn't speak, I tugged her up And pushed her softly into the Rock formation. In a way that she would not be spotted if she didn't move. I followed her. There was really room for only one person, But Fearing She would mess up and get us both killed. I looked at her and spoke calmly. "You can hit me for getting this close to you later. Right now. I kinda don't like being Filled with holes...That copter dropped people off you can hear them if you listen. Now Drape the veil over me and you....sorry....If i hurt you.."
Ahote Unconnected his tomahawk from his dump pouch. And clutched it in his hand Ready to strike anything that made it way towards them. His face contorted like a wounded dog in corner. He was a predator, and it showed. He was used to Killing and looked like he enjoyed it. The Foot steps slowed to a walking pace. And Audible voices could Be heard now.
"Wheres this Guy?...Dunno They said he'd be around here...Think Hes hideing?...Could be..isn't he native?...Yea he's a silent one to....Ooh Scary. Stupid f**king natives hiding. Bet hes Cowering in the trees."

As soon as the militant group had left, Alyssa pulled off the veil and looked at Ahote with a look of not horror, but shock on her face. He had taken a bullet through the thigh, but he had no sense of pain on his face, at all. There was a bullet stuck in his thigh. "Oh my god, how am I going to get that out of his leg?" she thought, trying her best to come up with a solution to help Ahote out of the trauma she knew he was having, but not expressing it.
As Ahote tried to search through his pack for a med kit, she gently snatched it from him and searched as fast as she could. When she found it, she opened it to see what was within. She found peroxide, bandages, and many other medical supplies, but the only problem was, she didn't know how to help him someone when they have been shot.
"What do you need!? I don't know how to treat a bullet wound!" she asked afraid that Ahote was going to die even though it was just a flesh wound. She had no idea how to treat a bullet wound. She had never predicted that she would ever witness someone get shotand she never thought she would've needed the training to treat these wounds. She was helpless in this scenario unless Ahote told her what to do.
Alyssa shook her head in anger. Why was she so pathetic? why didn't she know how to treat a bullet wound after so many years of her life? Alyssa stopped beating herself up in her mind, and decided to actually do her best to help, as Ahote guided her through the steps to treating a bullet wound.
She took out some cleaning alcohol, and got ready to clean out his wound, but before she started, she said, "This is going to hurt... Please, dont scream in pain," and poured the alcohol onto the hole in his leg. After that she removed the bullet with the medical tweezers that were in the med kit. This was probably one of the hardest parts of treatments. Afterwards, she did her best to cover his leg with a bandage.
Even though she managed to patch him up for the most part, she knew that he needed to get to a doctor as soon as he could, but in the middle of an outbreak like this, it may be extremely hard to find a doctor at this time. "We need to get you to a doctor A.S.A.P." she said, while pressurizing his wound to stop the blood from flowing. "Or who knows what may happen to you."
Honestly, Alyssa knew what would happen. He would almost definitely get an infection in his leg if they didn't, and even though he knew it too, she didn't say anything. Right now would be a terrible time to even talk about death. Especially in the middle of hell like this.
