This pharmacy is just like the rest of them in Raccoon City- looted to near extinction. Though, this one has something the rest don't have: a panic room. There's a hidden hatch behind the counter and lead to a storage room, stocked full with canned goods, medicine, urine-water purifier and a bed along with a small stall for showers. The actual first floor has been looted ten times over, but without looking closely, one would never find the secret to the pharmacy. Oh, and there's gore sprayed about the trashed ruins of the building.

Louis knew where the place was for one reason only. He was here several years ago, during the first outbreak. The place looked considerably newer, but still gave the same vibes as it did when he was with Jake. Pulling up close to the door, they both got out, and checked the streets before running inside the pharmacy. Upon entering, Louis pictured himself laying against the same wall he did years ago, wounded to near death. Just the fact that he was in this place before, the scars on his chest hurt. He felt his torso, feeling the scars pumping, but it was just is imagination taking control. They felt so real and alive, but it was just a reaction. This place haunted him, perhaps more then any other place in Raccoon City, for those reasons.
Louis reached for his SMG, which was hanging from his shoulder, and searched around the place for any traces of the undead. Most infected wouldnt have any reason to walk the floors of the pharmacy, because it wasnt populated with anyone or anything of intrest, except medication. He reached inside his pocket, and pulled out a bottle of painkillers, which he knew were nearly empty. Tossing the pills to the ground, he replaced his pocket with a full bottle from one of the shelves. Louis checked around the whole pharmacy, and found no sources of infected around. The only one were outside, so just as long as we stayed quiet, they wont be a bother.
Louis turned his head down, checking his bullet wound. It was healing up quite nicely, given the cheap treatment it had received. As he opened up a room near the back, he heard a shuffle coming from inside. Closing the door instantly, he heard scratching and moaning from a zombie on the other side of the door. Louis hung his SMG at his side, then reached inside his coat for his .45 and one other tool. Screwing on a black, tube like peice of equipment, he aimed it forward. Making as little noise as possible so he didnt attract the outsiders, he opened the door slowely. The infected lunged forward, as Louis fired a well placed shot into the zombies head. The silencer made only a small tick, while the body made more noise then the shot itself.
Searching the room, Louis came across more shelves which had some useful medical supplise on them. Leaving the door open, he left the storage, and then walked back out front. Staring out of the main windows, he saw a few long zombies pacing the street. None of them have noticed the building was occupied by the living, and Louis would love to keep it that way. Seeing Andreya scanning through one of the shelves, he slowely walked beside her, then leaned near her right shoulder to whisper. "Place is all clear... Remember, keep it down, ok? We dont need to advertise a tourist attraction..."

Andreya looked up at Louis and nodded her head slightly as once more she stifled another cough. Though painfully as she put her hand up to her chest. It was throbbing slightly as she stood there. She sighed a bit as she looked out the window as a walker passed by seeming off in it's own world. She sighed a bit as she wiped the sweat from her forehead. She had been freezing, and yet burning up since the other day. She was hoping that it was nothing more than a simple cold, but nothing was ever simple with her. This time she coughed heavily without being able to cover her mouth. Her cough was deep, and painful and she coughed for a good minute before she was actually able to catch her breath.
Sighing heavily she rested her head against the shelf. She looked back at Louis with tired eyes, before she went back to searching. He had said they were friends, that meant that she couldn't let him down, and if she was sick it was going to interfere with helping him find his friend. No she had to push it aside, she had to ignore it, but the coughs weather holding them in or not they were still painful. Andreya sighed as she picked up several different bottles of cough syrup. She just dropped them to the ground when they didn't appeal to what she was looking for. When she found one, she moved on to the throat lasagna section, then the dayquil and nightquil. She kept going threw each section until she had several different bottles of medication.
Day quil, night quil, Halls, Vick's 44D, Spray soother, and about five different other medications. She started oping up the day time medication and reading the instructions. Andreya sighed again as she sat there looking at what she pulled off the shelf. She wasn't use to picking out her own medication. When she got sick she always went to the doctor, because she had to be treated different. It was always a different kind of medication, but not this time. She had to stick with what she had. Finding it a bit odd in trying to pick out what she needed. She looked back at Louis as he walked by. "L- Louis," she spoke lightly as she looked back at what she picked out. "I d- don't know what to t- take?" she said lightly. She felt ridiculous that even now she always needed help in what decisions she made.

Louis looked at Andreya, and then at the contents near her. Picking up the different kinds of medication, he read the lables in his head. He wasnt a doctor or anything, but he knew his basic treatment. Picking up the Halls and Cold Medication, he shook them each briefly, explaining there use and reccomendations. "The Halls are easy to pocket, and theyll help your throat. The alcahol and sugar will sooth the roughness, all you gotta go is suck on one or two... As for the cold meds, they wont help you as much. So, id reccomend the Halls for while your up and around, but take the Night Time medication when you go to sleep. Itll also help you through the night, if you find yourself awake and exausted... But as for the Vicks and Spray stuff, I havent even used them before..."
Louis took the spray bottle, and assumed its made to be applied to your throat. Trying a squirt for himself, it seemed to have quite a fast effect. Looking at the Halls, and then at the new spray bottle, he contemplated on the advantages and disadvantages of each. Smiling, he took both of them, and placed them in Andreyas pocket for her. "Well, you cant go wrong with both, can you?" Louis walked behind the counter, searching around underneith for something, knocking down a box to the floor by mistake. Picking it up, he noticed its what he was looking for, walking it over to Andreya. He passed them to her, and then made sure it would actually do her any good. "Refills for your inhaler... These the right ones?"

Andreya opened up the halls when Louis had said that it was a good one. She smiled weakly as she popped it into her mouth. When he had brought a box over to her she was surprised to see that he was right. "T- that is s- sorta my medication," she said lightly as she opened the box and took out one of the metal cylinder tubes. Looking it over she nodded slightly. "L- lower dosage . . . it w- will take a bit longer to take a- affect, but . . . b- but we used the l- last of my medication l- last night," she said as she pulled out her inhaler, and removed the empty cylinder tossing it on the floor. She replaced it with a new cylinder and pocketed it.
"I- it's okay though," she said as she put the medication she had on top of the box. "All these s- should last for a b- bit even if I ha- have to use more." Standing up she slowly walked toward the window of the shop. Looking out at the street, and she sighed a bit before returning back to the counter. She opened up her backpack and stuck everything in it. Though having to up the cylinder tubs in since the box would take up to much room. She then stumbled casually threw the store picking up several bandages, and things that would help threw out their journey including drinks and food.
"O- okay, I've g- got a l- lot of things. We can leave when y- your ready," she said as she walked to the window and nearly froze. It was no longer sunny and cloudy like it had been when they entered. Infact it was almost grey out and the light was only that from the clouds. It had even started snowing heavily outside. Andreya never remembered seeing anything in the for cast about snow, but it was snowing pretty heavily. Looking back at Louis she sighed a bit. "D- do you think w- we can drive in it?" she asked lightly.

Louis nodded Andrey and then looked out of the window, seeing the heavy snow fall to the ground. The sun was starting to drop, but ontop of that, he was being blocked out by some clouds. He knew that when they left, it was going to be cold outsite, and he would want to give his coat to Andreya. But stripping Louis of his coat meant stripping him of his equipment. Everything was inside that coat, and he needed it close to him at all times. So for the next ten minuits, Louis spent time looking for something to keep Andreya warm while it was cold outside. Heading back to the storage room, he noticed the dead body on the floor from earlier. Its white pharmacist jacket was in great condition, and fairly clean as far as bloodstains went.
Louis took it off of the body, and then shook it a few times before searching its pockets. Not much useful inside, acept for a small LED flashlight and multipurpose razorblade. Folding it up, he placed it under his arm, while looking down at the body. Removing the name tage, he read the words "Dr. Carol Malcom" before dropping it near the body. Marking the dead was important, especially now because they dont stay dead for very long. Louis walked back out front, and then handed the jacket to Andreya, hoping it would help. "I found this. It should keep you a bit warmer... Sorry if its not what you had in mind, but..." Louis looked back outside, and noticed the snow was coming down harder. He had never drivin in the snow before, and wondered if it was a good idea to be out when it was like this. "Think maybe we should stay inside for the night... Whatdya think?"

Andreya took the jacket as the looked up at Louis. "T- Thank you," she said lightly as she took off her backpack, and put the coat on. She walked up to the window and tapped on the glass. Looking back at him she smiled lightly. "It's p- probably best that we h- hang out here. It will a- also give me some time to g- get this medication in me," she said as she looked back at him. Looking around the room slightly she walked back to the selfs and started looking threw them. "T- Though we run into the problem it's g- going to get really cold in here." She picked up several of the heating pads and walked over to the counter. "G- Give me a second a- and I'll set up a way to keep us w- warm when it gets colder in her, but n- not sooner because it wont last to long."
Walking over to the general isle she picked up several large bowls, and then quite a bit of water. Walking back to the counter she set everything down. Opening the bottles she pored them into the bowls until they were practically filled. She set four packets beside each bowl, and looked at Louis. "F- four packs per bowl. It will w- warm it up quickly, and the s- steam from the water will h- heat up the room." She pointed to the small storage room. "S- Smaller area best to stay," she said lightly as she looked up at Louis again. "W- what do you think."

Louis watched Andreya gather up song materials, and then watched her set it all up on the front counter. He wasnt exactly sure what she as doing, but if it involved mixing thing, he knew that something great would happen if she was doing it. She was very educated, or at least, more then he was. Louis hadnt expiremented with heating packs, or probably %90 of the stuff in this pharmacy. But when it came to science, Andreya exactly what she was doing. Once supposvly finished, she asked what he thought about it. Louis looked at her, and replied, trying to get a hold of what was happening. "So your using the heating pads to boil the water, which will cause steam, and heat the room? Seemed pretty ghetto, but hey, whatever works..."
Louis wasnt accustomed to new technology, or the majority of what the younger generation did in the world today. He spend a lot of his time making newer equipment from old spare parts and the like, so ghetto rigging a heater is just the right amount of old school for him. It was getting on 9pm, and Louis thought it would be best to turn off the lights in this place. Nodding his head to make Andreya knew what he was doing, he flicked off the switches, as the building went dark. Only light now was the moon shining through the window, but even that wasnt much considoring the heavy snow outside. Reaching into his pocket, and pulling out a glowstick, he cracked it, then tossed it in the center of the room.
The light from the glowstick was enough for them to see clearly, but anything on the outside wouldnt notice the light. Louis sat down near the entrance way, and pulled out his .45 ammunition. Taking out a single bullet, he put it back inside his pocket, and replaced the one missing round from his magazine. Placing his handgun onto the floor, he pulled around his SMG. Louis switched the silencer off his .45 and onto his SMG, since it was his primary weapon to begin with. Tightening on the suppressor, he made sure the fence stock was in place, and the scope was adjusted to 3x. Hanging it back onto his side, and putting his sidearm away, he rested his head back onto the metal. He was ready for sleep, but knew that someone had to watch guard.
This place wasnt like the hotel, it was pretty much on the streets, and those undead where still outside, along with worse things. Ever since Louis had that dream, he was almost waiting for the creature to make an appearence. Paranoria was never his concern, he always managed things when they came up in life. But he just thought of that creature, there was more of them around the city, just like the others. These were fast, agile, and could kill a human without him even noticing it was on the same room. Hell, there could be one of them watching him from across the street for all they knew. Louis closed his eyes, and tried to think about the other memories, staying away from all the bad ones.
Memories of Jake, the good fights they had back when the first outbreak casued more problems then they could shake a stick at. Louis and him were just two survivers in the city, trying to make it out alive. But hey survived for a reason, it was their friendship and cooperation that kept them alive. Neither of them couldve done it on there own, it takes great teamwork to overcome Raccoon City. But everyone moves on in life, even Louis moved on after the outbreak. Thats when he went off to work with Allister. He always kept that life a secret, and doesnt even think about it anymore. Nobody knew who he really was, or rather, what he really did for the money. And he got a pretty good thrill out of it in the end, aswell.
Louis opened his eyes quite quickly, realising that he was dozing off. That the last thing he needed, to have Andreya sitting alone in the dark, while he just sleeps. Standing up, he searched around the shelves for the one thing he knew would work fine. Caffine suppliments, they would keep him up for as long as he needed. Grabbing a bottle of them, he notced on the adjacent shelf, some Pentazmin. Benzodiazepine anti-depressant, which would relax his muscles, thus making his aim more accurate. After grabbed a few bottles of them, Louis popped two caffine pills in his mouth, and then walked infront of Andreya. He pocketed his medication, and then passed a bottle of Pentazmin down to her. "Its a muscle relaxant, might come in handy down the road. Definitly keep you focused..."
Louis nodded as he normally did, and then sat down against the wall near her. He would be up and going for hours once the pills kicked in, but until then, he would have to find something to keep him busy. He layed his head back, closed his eyes shut, and then sighed. "Tell me a story... Doesnt matter what..." Louis knew it was a bit strange asking this, but it would keep him awake long enough for the caffine to do its job. Besides, some storyline never hurt anyone, and he still didnt know much about Andreya. "Something just to keep my mind active... Please?" Why she came to Raccoon City, what happened during the first outbreak, these were questions that had him curious. Louis opened his eyes, looking at Andreya, waiting for a responce.

Andreya had take then cold medication while Louis had walked back into the store, and then placed everything back into her backpack. She could already start feeling the chill in the room, but in a way it felt good to her. It helped cool her down when she was burning up. She looked up at Louis as he sat back down, and sighed a bit when he asked her to tell him a story. She didn't know any stories, but those she had to live. She closed her eyes, and laid her head down on her backpack using it as a pillow. Andreya yawned a bit as she looked up at him, and smiled weakly. She still didn't know what to tell him, and finally gave in when she figured the best thing to do was to tell him about herself.
"I grew up in Ireland," she said lightly. "F- Family of eight, all b- brothers except for my parents. I was the o- outcast, d- doomed to live the l- life of a servant. Didn't go to s- school, had to teach myself f- from the books my b- brothers left behind. It wasn't so bad u- until my 12th birthday when my mother passed away. My f- father blamed it on me, and s- said it was because she went to g- get me a birthday gift. I knew t- that it was a lie, I n- never had a birthday gift so what w- would make that b- birthday any different." Andreya sighed heavily as she looked down at the floor. "I was a- always sick, even before my m- mother died. Never went to the d- doctor because my f- father didn't see the point. After my - mother died he finally took me, and they e- explained why I always hurt and w- why I always had problems breathing."
Shifting a bit uncomfortable on the floor, still she let the feeling pass. "H- He only took me because he n- needed someone to tend to the f- family now that mother was gone. Cooking c- cleaning and anything else that a w- woman's suppose to do. I g- got up at three in the morning, and if I w- was lucky got to bed at one in the m- morning. Day in day out, and when I f- failed to complete a task t- to his liking he beat me. It was even w- worse when my father had his f- friends over. I was nothing b- but a game to them, a- something to play with and e- entertain themselves." Andreya sighed again as she wiped the tears from her face. She looked up at Louis with a weak smile before she closed her eyes. "W- When I was 16 I ran away. Stole a- away on a ship, it was hard, b- but I managed. Came to A- America, and hitched r- rides across the states. I was t- trying to put as much distance b-between me and my family. I e- eventually ended up in R-Raccoon City. That's where Thorton f- found me, and so did my family."
Coughing slightly as she just laid there, she remained quite for a moment trying to think of what to say or if she should stop. "Thorton and his f- friend killed off my brothers, but w- while I was in the hospital my father t- tried to kill me. I had managed to get his g- gun away from him, and shot him. Yet w- with his death it didn't stop there. I d- didn't know at the time, but Thorton e- explained it to me later. My f- father was one of the t- top people in the Irish Mafia, and w- when he died they had put a hit out o -on me. It took Thorton a good while before we were both safe. An t- then life started over, except I was with someone who cared, but . . ." she trailed off as she rubbed her throat slightly. "I h- hadn't told Thorton, but the last couple of w- weeks I have been getting strange letters. I- I think they know where I- I am."

Louis sat patiently though Andreyas story, which was really quite interesting. She held a hard life, and then only to get crapped on by the Raccoon City Outbreak? The world changed, its not the same anymore. But he didnt know how to respond to her story, only that is a all drama, something he wasnt a fan of. But he felt her pain, he knew what she went through. With tired eyes, Louis took out his handgun, and then pretened to shoot someone beside Andreya. "They lay one finger on you... And theyll have to deal with me. Just because its the Irish Mafia, doesnt mean they scare me..." Louis himself had such a hard past, but not like Andreya did. His was more along the violent side, the razors edge of his life.
The Irish Mafia now a days are actually padded in Brooklyn, NYC. Its really quite strange why Louis would know something like that, but it all came with the job. Through all the stories, hes convinced himself that the job still was with him, no matter where he went. One job in particular that was one his mind, that he had to finish before Raccoon City does it for him. Louis layed his head back on the floor now, and then yawned. It was the first time he actually felt relaxed and sleepy at the same time. He peeked over at Andreya, and then smiled with a serious face. "Just dont you worry, Kiddo. You hang around me, your safe from whatever is haunting you... But I think its time for some rest, dont ya think? Sleep on the words I said..."
Louis closed his eyes, and then soon fell asleep, not even thinking about it. The drugs really kicked in well, which meant they were dling there job. He naturally slept with one hand on his .45 inside of his coat, he was prepared for anything. But there is a line between Paranoia and Preperation, you just have to find it yourself. Louis slept the whole night to its fullest, and it was completely nightmare free, something he hadnt had days. But, however, the whole time through the night, al he could think about was what tomorrows sunrise would bring him and Andreya..

Andreya smiled weakly as she watched Louis fall asleep. She was tired . . . exhausted, but yet she couldn't find the will to sleep. Her eyes were heavy, but every time she closed them sleep wouldn't come. It was rather annoying to considering how much medication she had taken, and still she couldn't sleep. After a bit it was getting rather irritating, to the point she couldn't stand it. Finally growing tired of it she sat up, but found that her body felt heavy. She felt weak and sitting up alone felt as though a vice was being placed on her head. Still she managed to push herself and walked back to the isle. As she got further away from her make shift heater the colder she felt the room getting.
Yet she wanted sleep . . . she needed sleep, and she figured the best thing to do was find something to help her sleep. Between the Night Quil, muscle relaxer, and her three different medications none of them helped her get any sleep. From all she could tell they were actually keeping her up. Looking threw the shelfs she found many things that said they would help her sleep, but none seemed appealing. Finally giving up she picked up at box and read threw the instructions. Pulling out two of the pills she used her saliva to swallow them down. Hoping that these would work she walked back over to back pack nearly stumbling over her feet.
Just in a matter of seconds she was starting to feel the effects, but it wasn't like she wanted it to. She was starting to feel almost light headed, kinda like her head was swimming in the ocean without it's body. Her vision grew blurry as she felt a slight stinging in her stomach that radiated up to her chest. It was then that she realized her mistake. Andreya hand reached out for he self, but came up short causing her to fall onto the hard tile floor. She looked up into the darkness as she could barley make out Louis sleeping. She coughed weakly before she passed out where she had landed.

A new day. The sun was shining brightly through the window of the pharmacy. The snow had left a wet surface on the streets, melted by the radiance. This was was perhaps brighter then others, the streets were purely silent. Not a single zombie walked around the building, it was just all calm. Aside from the obvious damage, its like nothing ever happened. Louis slowely rose up, and then without even looking in Andreyas direction, he opened up the doors. Stepping out onto the street, he saw that everything was partially intact, not much damage had been done to the city. The bright blue sky cast a shimmer into the moist pavement, almost like he was looking into a mirror. In his eyes, the nightmare was over, this was all just a new day. Louis closed his eyes, breathing in the fresh air. But then suddonly, a loud, heavy caughing echoed through the streets...Louis awoke to the sound of Andreya hacking away, facing the floor. Getting up and moving forward at the same time, he tripped beside her, crawling to her side and trying to figure out the problem. But at this point, it wasnt important, all he could do was search for her inhaler. Grabbing the closest thing, a bottle of water near her bag, Louis tried to get Andreya to drink something. But her response was vomiting onto the floor several times, before finally breathing rasply. At first look, he would assume that she was bitten, and this virus had been taking its effect on the poor girl. However, regardless of the risk, he still tried to get Andreya to drink the water. After the second attempted, she finally took a mouthful of water, weakly swallowing. Louis held Andreya up straight, holding her on his lap, keeping his neck straight so that he could get more water into her. The violent caughing and even more violent vomiting had stopped now, and would hopefully stay that way. She was breathing, but wouldnt open her eyes. Whatever it was had attracted some unwanted attention, as Louis bolted around, staring at a group of zombies coming through the window. Trowing the backpack onto his backside, Louis carried Andreya with one arm over his shoulder, kicking through the doorway. Quickly walking up to the car, he opened up the passenger door, laying he on the seat with the backpack. Louis got into the drivers side, and gunned the vehicle down the street with increasing speed. [Louis & Andreya now in Raccoon City Hospital, 2nd Floor]

Shane crouched behind the corner of the street, around which was the short stretch of the next street before Dale's Pharmacy. Once a place of business for medicine and the preservation of life, now a house of horrors, spattered with the gore from those who had once sought shelter there. Shane tried his best to keep his breathing calm and level as he hid, peeking around the corner. There was nothing behind him, Shane and the bat had handled that, but ahead there could be anything, and walking into a situation blind wasn't really Shane's thing. The glance showed him that the street was all clear for the moment, and Shane's batting arm relaxed just a little, letting the tip drop a little closer to the ground. Patting his pocket to make sure that his sidearm was still there and undamaged, Shane left the corner and hefted the bat again, stalking out from the corner, casting one more glance behind him, then another to the left and right scanning the street as he walked, before finally turning his eyes back to the pharmacy. As he moved closer, he saw the broken glass, counters tipped, items thrown about. "Geez." he muttered to himself, "This place has been totally ransacked! Chances are there's not much here." Still, it might be good to look he reasoned, moving closer. Most of the people had probably come looking for antibiotics and any kind of make-shift cure for infected friends, loved ones or themselves, so there should be plenty of painkillers, first aid supplies and vitamin supplements here, exactly what would be needed for the road ahead. Shane's feet crunched on broken glass as he entered, casting his glance around to clear any threat of lurking undead. For now there was none. Still he stuck close to the exit, checking the shelves, and soon found some of what he wanted: Basic Vitamin A, B,C and D supplements which, considering he might not eat properly for quite some time, would be integral for keeping himself healthy. As he had suspected, few visitors would have been looking for such things in the panic and riots after the outbreak. He slipped several bottles of each into his backpack, and continued about his work, searching now for painkillers and hopefully first aid supplies. As he worked he periodically looked up, glanced around and out onto the street, and then returned to his work, trying to keep the intervals between glances random so that a pattern couldn't be read by any of the more dangerous undead that could be nearby, his bat held in one hand as the other searched quickly for the items he needed.

Katherine had paced herself down the street, looking about for anyone or anything useful. As she stood a few feet away infront of Dale's Pharmacy, she noticed someone entering the very building. She wasn't too sure whether they were good or bad. She was positive they were alive, but she had encountered a few crazies before...
Contemplating on what to do, she made her way after the man in high hopes that maybe he had some food, water, or maybe have seen her husband and daughter around somewhere. Since they were separated, it was also pretty lonely on her own.
Entering the pharmacy, she cautiously walked up to the man, holding her handgun up high. The nose of the gun trembled as did her hands and shoulders. "U-Um excuse me...?" she asked, nervously.

"U-Um excuse me?" Shane froze, mid-crouch, sifting through a pile of containers, which unfortunately held only sleeping pills. What the......how'd she get behind me! And, judging from the metallic sound that had come from behind him before she spoke, the girl had a gun. Not another crazy he hoped. Not taking any chances, he rose quickly, pulling his gun from his pocket and turning in one motion. The two of them stood, face to face, each barrel pointing at the other's forehead. Shane stood for a moment, evaluating the situation. She didn't seem crazy. Surely she would have pulled the trigger by now if she was. Slowly, haltingly he lowered the gun, replacing it in his pocket, letting out a nervous laugh. "Sorry about that; I didn't mean to be so brash. Heh, barring any more awkward gun pointing, I'm Shane." Shane extended his hand.
