The thunderstorms continued all throughout the night and are continuing into the morning and have yet to stop. Allison awoke in a jolt to Amelia's wrist watch going off. Amelia and Katy awoke slowly afterward and Amelia turned her alarm off. Allison gathered her things and arose to her feet, stretching. No light was entering through the cracks of the blinds on the window in the far corner of the room, which meant the sun had yet to rise.
"4:00AM," Amelia said plainly, sitting on the edge of the bottom bunk and rubbing her eyes. Katy climbed down off of the top bunk and adjusted her shirt. "Feels like we slept for five minutes," she said.
"It was only about three hours, but it's better than nothing. I still have plenty of coffee left and I'll boil some water before we leave. Start loading the humvee so we can drive out to that helicopter, we'll have to drink on the way" Amelia told the group, walking out of the room.
Allison walked into the lobby and opened the front doors. The humvee sat where her new companions had left it, keys still in the ignition, barely being kept dry by the overhang of the building's roofing. Allison started the vehicle up and backed it up into the lobby of the clocktower.
Amelia began walking down the hall toward The Doctor's room. "Rise and shine, boys!" she yelled. As she rounded the corner, she called out to the Doctor, "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have anything I could boil water with, would you?"
Katy began loading several things into the back of the Humvee with Allison's help.

Hearing the voice of Amelia from behind the large metal door, Arc woke up to the clanking. The second he jumped up from the floor, he reached for his knife, which had been missing. Looking around for the doctor, not to even ask questions, but to kill him with his bare hands, he wasnt anywhere in sight. Seeing the blade sitting on a table, all cleaned up, along with a black leather jacket, Arc picked it up and sheathed it back into his jeans. "Calm down, I injected you with the Ur6283-A478b, you dont worry about the changes..." In all honestly, Arc had been angered by the Doctor, and didnt quite remember him even going out. But, he wasnt tired, nor was he frenzied, despite his anger. Deciding to let it slide, Arc put the leather jacket over his now just slightly damp tanktop, and spoke. "I dont know how you managed to get that into me, Doctor, but-|
Before he could let Arc finish his sentence, Shplain opened up the steel door using a code, and than ignored the man, going straight for the woman. He than handed her a small booklet of filled syringes, and a hotplate. "Take zese wichu. Zese syringes contain the Ur6283-A478b compound, its ze only vay for this man to sleep! Ze rapid growth of ze virus inside of him is proving everything to be difficult, but zose will let him rest at ease, no vurries." As Amelia took what was given to her, Arc than moved out of the small lab, and into the hallway. It seemed it was time for them to get going. The German doctor spoke again "...and ze hot plate is for your coffee, im not useinzit, so you may hold onto it." Arc was ready to honestly thank Shplain, but he wouldnt even let him do that. "Na dante me, danke you, silly goose! For letting me study you so... Eeeek, oulalalalala."
Either of them really knew what to say, and quite confidently, Arc could only imagine that Amelia was trying to hold back from laughing. But the door closed over, and the locking mechinism was set in place not a second later. Looking at Amelia, and what the doctor gave to her, Arc replied. "I dont know what that stuff is, but it works... A dozen of those should do me for awhile, and if you can test them somehow, see exactly what they are, we could make more ourselves. I dont like the feeling of him injecting me with the same thing he gave that half eaten corpse, but im still alive, and I feel better than ever, so I cant complain..."
As Arc and Amelia would move back into the lobby of the clock tower, they couldnt help by notice that Hal was missing, as well.

Amelia looked around for a wall outlet, then headed toward the nearest one, plugging the hotplate in.
"Arc, find and round up your friend," she told him, pulling a metal thermos from her bag and setting it on the hotplate. She took three small water bottles from her satchel and filled the thermos to nearly the top, leaving it on the hotplate to heat up. "Five minutes, guys!" she shouted to everybody.
Allison and Katy continued loading the Humvee. They had retrieved the bedsheets from the other room and were drying off the few places of the vehicle's interior that were hit by the rain with them. Allison finished up and tossed the bedsheets out of the truck and onto the ground, then climbed into the passenger seat. Katy walked around to the other side of the vehicle and climbed up into the back seat, directly behind the passenger seat. The water in Amelia's thermos had began to boil and she took it off of the hotplate, holding it with the fabric of her shirt. She immediately dumped plenty of instant coffee into the thermos, fixed the cap on, and gave it a few good shakes to fully integrate the mixture.
"Looks like we'll be sharing out of a thirty ounce thermos," she told the group.
Amelia unplugged the hotplate and wrapped the cord around it once it cooled off, then stuck it into her satchel for later use. Amelia walked around to the Humvee passenger seat and hopped in, closing the door and turning the key in the ignition. "Come on, Arc!" she yelled behind her. She turned around to see Arc standing outside of the vehicle.
"Where's Hal?" she questioned.

Nodding, Arc moved off into the back of the lobby, and began checking the rooms back there. If he knew Hal, the man was most likely getting further away from everybody. But when he was nowhere to be found, not even on the upstairs portion of the clock tower, he really gave up on the search. Upon returning to the hummer in the lobby, he stood at the door with Amelia, and than spoke out when she questioned where Hal was. "Im gonna guess hes at the helicopter, no doubt getting things ready for the departure, checking to see if their was any weather damage. He was always like that, making sure to settle things that nobody else did, this time being our ride."
Looking back at the hallway leading to the metal door, Arc couldnt help but think of the doctor. He was a strange character, but no doubt would stick around there for a long time. He had been in there for the last two months, living off of military rations that he stole. It was just himself, and he was pretty smart. He could live there for the rest of the year if he had to. If their mission hadnt been sucessful, they could probably return anytime and check up on him, his progress, it would be worth it.
Arc jumped onto the side of the hummer, and then rolled onto the roof, holding on tightly to the window that had been rolled down. He would ride on top to the chopper, keeping a close eye out on the surroundings, he couldnt stand being inside of vehicles. Speaking down into the window to Amelia, Arc tapped the hood twice. "Lets move out, there no time to waste."

Amelia wasn't convinced, and was a bit worried. Allison interrupted, speaking with an annoyed tone. "Let's get a damn move on, I'm sure he's fine. It's not like we can take off without him."
Amelia was strangely reassured and nodded her head. Arc hopped on top of the vehicle and let Amelia know that everyone was good to go. Amelia pulled out of the clocktower and drove across the path out into the road. The storm from last night continued, but was less intense and was alright to fly in. She pulled on the steering wheel, turning out left and began driving out toward the park.
[Arc, Amelia, Allison, and Katy are now at the City Park]
