Aya Brea is the NYPD cop who begins Parasite Eve at the theatre where mitochondia manifests itself and forces humans into hideous mutants, and ends the second game...y'know, I'm not quite sure what the ending is, something about her neice being used in mitochondia experiments or something. Ada Wong is introduced in Resident Evil 2 as a girlfriend of one of the researchers of the Spencer Estate, and recovers the G Virus after nearly being killed, you can see just how barely she survived in the aptly named Chronicles level Death's Door, and in RE4 she's apparently working for Wesker, but Seperate Ways especially shows that she's not on the level with anyone. I made the comparison because not only are both characters very very witty, they make similar comments about the state of toilets and the like.

Edit> Say, Millenium, you psyched for The 3rd Birthday? God knows there'll be a massive gap between when it's released in Japan, and when it's released to Western society. My to do list has: Learn Japanese, Fly to Tokyo, Snatch up a Japanese PSP and Parasite Eve 3 on it.

I didn't even know they were making a third one, but yeah, if they made Aya like she was in the second game I'd be all for it. Hopefully wait for it to be on PS2 as I've yet to get a PSP, and with the way Darkside Chronicles is shaping up a Wii might be on the agenda at some stage or another.
That, or a computer powerful enough to make up my own Resident Evil game. Take the Outbreak engine, haul in the edit modes from Smackdown vs Raw 2010 and you can edit your own characters and scenarios. Now that would outsell Mario, Guitar Hero and Lara Croft put together.

From what I've heard The 3rd Birthday is PSP exclusive, considering it's a spinoff (Although I, and many other Parasite Eve fans, just take it as PE3), I don't think you'll find it on PS2 like the Syphon Filter games and Ratchet and Clank: Small-er...something or rather. Size Matters, that's it.
Spet 24th Tokyo Game Show starts up, that's when we should be hearing more on PE3 and when it'll be released.

I've never heard of Parasite Eve, so I'm guessing Aya is the lead character. And with Ada, she doesn't really have a boyfriend John, it was only to get into Umbrella as a spy.

Thing is you can never really tell with Ada. Odds are she was using John. Leon on the other hand...well, Seperate Ways is full of suggestion she's sweet on him. And given that she betrays Wesker can we take it to mean she's one of the good guys? Or is who she is really working for worse?

One of many loose ends that weren't tied up. I thought Ada skidaddled with the Plagas sample to give it to another organization, and since then we haven't heard of her. Less she did give it to Wesker in the end. Her ethics are questionable, but if Capcom put a little bit of focus on Ada in Darkside... or even her own title, they could clarify her motives considering she seems to double-triple-pentuple cross everyone.

Maybe their will be a Leon and Ada chapter! Lol, that'd be so cool. 1st scenario, Leon and Claire with Ada submissions. 2nd Scenario, Claire and Steve/Chris with Chris submissions (before meeting Claire). 3rd Scenario Leon and Krauser. 4th Leon and Ada after RE4!!! That'd be so cool, then they get married!? Hmm, too soft CAPCOM.

Wesker wanted Tricell, he used Excella. She believed that she could acheive a right hand seat at the turning point of Weskers endeavours though; dense, in my opinion. I thought it was the fabled S-corp that Ada laid off the Plagas sample to, same with the G-virus sample she swiped. I can't recall too well... maybe she did just hand them both over to Wesker. Plus I'm guessing the Plagas sample was Las Plagas type 2, what you see in Kijuju, which Wesker likely gave Excella, and from there down to Irving who spead it among the Majini. Edit> ^.^.^.^.^.^.^ I found this great picture... I found a lot of great stuff in the last 5 hours actually, none of it related to one another but I had to tell someone... of a Che Guevara take on Resident Evil, it's clever in my opinion as I quite like art compromisations on the black and white image of Che's face. Meet Jill Guevara, or Che Valentine; whichever floats your boat.  Edit2> I totally just saved this thread by putting it back on topic. |
