I loved Claire also. I mean Jill is pretty cool but I grew up with Resident evil 2. Jill wasn't around back then when I first remembered. I did love Code Veronica though. I never got to finish it but it was amazing. I couldn't survive Steve.

Yay this thread was deemed awesome! I feel special for making it.  Looking back at my posts though, I am quite the RE nerd, aren't I? Although in my early adulthood I sorta converted to Silent Hill. I'm a traitor.... D8 EDIT: YES! Exactly! I grew up with Resident Evil 2 as well. Infact it was the very first videogame I ever beat. I mean, I played Mario and all when I was a little girl but when I saw my brother playing RE2 I was smitten. |

I never finished RE2 Until a while after like years. I gave it away cause I was scared of the zombies but I do love silent hill. Silent hill 2 was the better game IMO.

I wasn't afraid of the zombies but Mr. Smex. I used to scream for my brother to leave his pothead buddies to come beat scenes with him in it for me. *sigh*
Also, yes, I loved SH2. Cried like a baby.

I spotted this again while looking for that video I put up. Read through it, none of the humor has been lost on any of those images or conversations, I had to give it a bump.
Also Revolver originally put that video up, I reposted it here because the person who originally put it on Youtube set his account to private so nobody could watch it. I found the video again from another person and embedded, figuring it would be better to have it in this collage of wicked Resident Evil stuff.

LOl. Silent hill 2 didn't scare me but more along the lines of intrigue. Also, I am not sure if I beat RE2 but I did love The outbreak series. I hate all this new action crap. The former resident evils were all about survival. Conserving ammunition, health objects. Not kill an infected " Ooh like a nickle. "

I have yet to watch the vid, Edgey, I will do so soon.
I didn't say SH2 scared me, I said it made me cry as in, it was perfectly emotional and vaguely creepy. It was flawless of the entire series. Also I loved Outbreak, better than the L4D bullsh**.... I stopped playing Resident Evil when 4 came out. My heart couldn't take the terrible game and upcoming ones... Ruined my childhood fondness.

I agree I didn't like RE4 or 5. It strayed away from the zombie aspect that made the RE series awesome.

I find that really astonishing. I adore the original Resident Evil games, but I accept the current generation games openly. Their game play is heaps of fun, especially for completionists, and they're adding to a story I got really sucked into.
You guys should keep your eye out for Resident Evil: Revelations, I think that might appease your appetite on the lost game play of the original Resident Evils.

I could understand that, especially if you're a zombie fanatic; if it were anything else I'd be inclined to say it seems like you're overreacting.

I have to agree. I mean I liked RE4 it was actually an amazing game but I miss the survival horror and zombies. I mean it would be scarier to make actual zombies for RE6. New types maybe ones that do run but are so graphically enhanced that you see the flesh rotting off them.
