Maybe I'm naiive but why is Jill so cool? = / I thought she sucked up until RE5 where she was a total badass despite being controlled by Whiskers. (I still like RE3 though.)
Personally I like Claire better.

Yeah, I liek Claire better too, but Jill has been through more, but then she hasn't really lost anyone she loved, although, how do they get to love each other in a course of a few hours? LeonxAda and ClairexSteve?

Well, I personally like Jill more then Claire, but thats only my opinion. I mean, in RE1 and RE3 her character was pretty cool, a woman who was with professional cops, fighting for their lives, and making it out alive. That's pretty cool.
Claire went through a harder time in Raccoon City, because it was obviously a bigger than the Mansion. Her character in RE2 was fantastic, and I was attatched to it, but in CV... I don't know, she was pretty much the same in CV, but I just didn't like her as much.
I have thought about that in the past too, but I can easily think of it. When in the course of surviving a zombie apocalypse, the characters grow more on the other characters. They begin to bond with the other character fast and faster, when they finally fall in love after a certain event. First, Ada and Leon, they fell in love after Leon saved Ada. For Claire and Steve... I think after the plane crash they fell in love.

Maybe I'm naiive but why is Jill so cool? = / Honestly, I think it's because Jill is just a well-trained chick with a gun. She didn't start out uber-badass, she grew into it. Jill's just trying to get by, whereas [EDITED OUT BECAUSE I HATE SAYING ALICE'S NAME] was godmodded. Part of it too, is the Samus Aran effect. She's completely awesome, but at the same time, not some smoking hot Femme Fatale. Just a regular looking chick. These are my personal speculations, however. Jill's awesome for more reasons than one, but I honestly think it has to do with relating to the strong women of this generation. |

Oooooh. I can tell you aren't going to like Other M Thom. Don't get me wrong, I still adore Samus Aran. Honestly, I think her suit's sexier than she is, at this point... Look back to the first Prime. She looked just like a regular chick. Nothing unrealistically hot. Now she's like, anime. e.e But yeah, I plan on reserving Other M the second it comes out. Other M = the next God Of War/Devil May Cry. |

I just grew up thinking Claire to be my role model. I was a very dorky kid, haha! But yeah, I love her character even more now cause of her personality expansion in DSC. It's a tad bit embarassing but when I was a kid I use to like to think of Chris and Claire's sibling relationship to be like mine and my older brothers. I also use to be pretend to be her when me and my friends would play around.
Yeeeah.

^_^;;; Eh heh heh, well, I was a crazy kid. I even remember I tried my hardest to do the famous gun drop/catch scene from CVX. I failed horrifically but I tried anyway. I remember my dad even bought me a vest once. It's all small and for little kids though.
When I have a daughter, hopefully she'll appreciate it the same way I did. Haha, I'm a dork, I know.

I dunno, reperforming the gun drop catch is pretty cake taking. It must've sucked having to drop to the ground faster than the gun every time.
