Trenton pulls the plunger back and removes the now full vial. "Stalk tissue and a blood sample. If it wasn't so dangerous I'd suggest catching a leech." Trenton says smiling at the sample before tucking it into his bag and drawing one of the berettas. "No hive mind, means headshots, right?" he says as he raises the handgun and pulls the trigger. The subsequent splatter sets part of the autopsy table on fire and Trenton's already dwindling overshirt. Trenton pats the flames out, sighs, and begins undressing his upper half. "You two go on, I'll catch up in a minute." he says as he pulls his undershirt off...

Alex looked at Trenton oddly. "Rule one of the BSAA, never split up. Never go alone. We're in hostile territory. We can't risk to lose sight of each other even for a moment. You have to pee? We'll turn around, but I'm not losing the last man on my team because he wanted some alone time in the creepy lab under Umbrella control." He then went to his sister. "Mia's sick. We need to get to the medical labs so we can't afford to fall behind. Either you follow, our you are dead to me and will no longer be benifitted with my aid. The mission has no time for such distractions."

Trenton lets Alex continue with his rules rant while he slips his armor and webbing on without a shirt. "Sorry I mentioned it. Figured you two would want to get going while I changed." Trenton says picking his rifle back up and stepping out the door. "Which way to the medical lab?" he asks, raising the rifle and sweeping the hallways. His mind said clear and his scope agreed. 'Mr.Umbrella probably thinks he killed Mia, maybe even us. So resistance from him should be at an all time low till he looks at the security cameras.' Trenton thinks to himself, adjusting his scope. "Damn licker, my scopes gonna be off at least till we get to the medlabs." Trenton cursed in a wisper...

Mia shook her head as she pointed up to a camera moving back and forth in the hall. "If he's in one of the security rooms then he already knows. All camra's are set to motion. That was set up just to keep the cost of elecricity down. Especially when it runs off a generator," she pointed out. She motioned for them to head down the hall. What was left of it was clear from the fire and everything else that had happened over the short period of time. She turned to look at Alex and smiled tiredly. "I'm sorry about that. I was rescless going out on my own. I will do better next time."
With that she walked up to the door and slid her key card through it. The door opened revealing a still frozen garden. She stepped in zipping up her coat and rubbing her hands together. "I guess the plants are carrying over the cold."
"No not really," a voice called from behind a tree. Mia looked up to see an older man with three younger nurses standing behind him. "Mia, dear. Your not looking to well," he said as he walked up. "Sorry for the cold. Please come this way," he said motioning them across the room. "I'm assuming you are the people we should think for the heat."
"Alex and Trenton turned it on."
"Alex?" he said turning to look at Mia. She smiled and nodded slightly. "Well well. I am glad you were able to make it. Before I transfered sections all she could talk about was you. Never could get her to shut up." He waved them into another side room that was much warmer and hotter compared to the outside. Inside were a couple more nurses and several patients. "We welded the vents shut. Those things were trying to move in through the vents. It was the only thing we could think of. When the heat in the room died out they started to move fast. So we had to act quicker. Even this room is shut off," he pointed to the steal welded over the vents. "Indoor heater always worked."
"There are more survivors at the communication tower."
"That's good." He turned and whispered into one of the nurses ear and he ran off. "The door on the other side of the room isn't welded shut. I've changed the coding to it and put in a bit of security." He looked at the nurse as he returned with a card and handed over to Mia. "This will get you through the other door. Though Mia. I suggest that you should stay here. You really don't need to be moving around that much."
"I am fine Doctor. I'll be okay. Alex said he was going to get me to my treatment. So I'll be okay to wait a little longer."

Alex came up. "No she won't. she needs medical attention before we can proceed. You of all people should know you can't trust a patient." She then pushed Mia to follow the doctor. Walking to Trenton he stopped and shifted his gaze. He then came up close. "I don't trust all of this cover." He said indicating the tree's and bushes. "Let's do a sweep to be safe. You take the northern greenhouse, I'll take the south. We'll meet at the main console at the north end where the civilians are. Sound good?"

Mia as bout to protest, but the doctor held up his hand. "Now now. You of all people should know that your brother knows best," he said with a grin. "Now listen to me and sit," he said pointing to the chair. He walked over to the cabnit shifting through a lot of the medical supplies they had. "Give me the low down on what has happened since you missed your treatment."
"Times been ticking away," she said with a grin.
"Mia this is not a joke." He walked over to her and lifted her hand up and looked at the watch. "Damn. Your not even half way to the lab," he said as he walked back to the cabnite. He came back with several shots. Sitting down beside her he took her arm and tested the bend in her arm. "Lay back," he said as he waited for her to do so. "Until your brother is read your going to rest here." After that he watched her flinch as he gave her each shot. "Still hate them don't you." He laughed slightly when Mia nodded. "I wish you would have stuck with the normal treatment."
"I like having the week to myself."
"But now you lose all that," he said lightly as he finished the last shot. He sat her arm down beside her. He walked up to Alex as he was preparing to head out to check the garden. "Going to let Mia rest while the medication takes effect. Just let her know when your ready to head back out. But your probably already know that all this is doing is masking the pain she's going to feel in the end. I have a techie here who can set up a com link to the lab your heading too. That way if Mia can't walk you through the process I will be able to," he pointed out.

Trenton gave a soft cough to the doctor and tapped his headset. "I'll get in touch with your techie, but so far I think he'd be safer staying here. That being said, Alex, have you had comm with the tower? Mine went out half an hour ago." Trenton says as he strips the scope off his rifle and starts walking toward the northern greenhouse. "It may be distance." he continues over the comm so only Alex can hear, "But we should still be well within range. I'm a little worried. I'm gonna switch to a burst frequency and see if I can patch in to them, but if that doesn't work, we should prepare for the worst." Trenton finishes flipping to through the frequencies waiting for any signs of radio activity...

Alex his the com link on his helmet. "Stop talking about the dang communication and concentrate on your sweep. Let the techie's do what they do best and you can be spared to what you do best. He then activated his heat vision. "Mia, you rest, we still have a long journy ahead of us if you insist on rescuing survivors." Suddenly Alex heard a noise deep in the foliage. "Might have contact. Going to check it out." There was no heat signature so he figured it may be random branches falling, usual forest activity. It wasn't until a carniverous bell flower dropped down and incased him that he realised what was going on. The plant was so big it swallowed him whole and instantly the ensyms began desolving and intoxicating him making him helpless. With Alex out of the way the many Ivy's went on the warpath.

During the events taking place above ground with the others in his group the agent barely managed to avoid and lose the infected and the mass of leeches. After a untold amount of time in the tunnels the agent finally managed to locate a ladder up to the main level. As he was making his way up the ladder he could hear the leeches and infected below and getting closer, quickly making it up the ladder and keying the hatch's controls he climbs out of the hole. Quickly he slams the hatch back down and fires a shell at the controls, destroying them and blocking the exit for the infected below.
The hall where he came up at was covered in burned corpses and fire damage, with his shotgun shouldered he eyes each of the corpses cautiously, he noted damage to the pipes in the hall as he moved forward. After a few more halls and areas like the first he came upon a large room, a creature with a similar appearance to a licker. Around it were some smoldering and almost dead flames, their position similar to blood splatters in relation to the creature laid dead. He figured the blood from the creature was the cause for the fire, reminding him of a file he had read on the T-Veronica a few years back, and wondered if there was any relation.
The agent shakes his head before putting another bullet from his 1911 in the thing's head for good measure, no sense leaving a possible attacker at his rear. As the shot from his 1911 he heard a mass of screams and gun fire a little ways off in the facility, through a nearby door. He rushes to the door, still slightly opened, and busts through it, his shotgun up and his finger on the trigger.
He takes in the image in a split second, 6 people and a mass of Ivy's, he noted two were Mia and Trenton, and the others medical personnel but he did not see Alex in the chaos. In a reaction time honed from years of BOW combat he charged, slamming into an Ivy sending it to the floor in a loud crash and then an even louder shotgun blast as the Ivy's stalk just under it's 'head' vanished, a look of surprise on the medical personnel's faces as Inman gets back up and starts firing into the mass of Ivy's.

Trenton struggles against the ivy that had caught him completely off gaurd. When the ivy struck him from behind his rifle, once again, left his hands and clattered against the ground. Trenton manages to reach his knife and cut the lower vines freeing up his legs. With a few good swings, Trenton manages to wrap his legs tight against a tree branch. Pulling as hard as he can, he hears his ribs crack just before the vines lose their grip. Trenton hits the grass and pants hard. The pain from his ribs was quickly forgotten as Trenton drew his USP and fired the fresh clip straight into the small crack in the wall. The rounds tear the tentacles apart near their base. "Alex, I've got hostiles, looks like they orriginated near the survivors, heading back now." Trenton says clearly before dropping to his knees and coughing hard, sending fresh and intense pain all through his body...

Mia's eyes shot open as she heard screams coming from within the room. She was instantly up and on her feet heading toward the main room. She looked over to the windows now covered in vines. "Alex!" she cried out with concern as she headed for the door, but was quickly pulled to a stop by the doctor. "Let me go. Alex is out there . . . he's . . . he's in trouble," she said as she turned to look at him, but surprise covered her face.
"I know, and I can't stop you," he said holding up two sheathed swords, and a back strap for them. "I know Mr Kemoch has been teaching you behind our backs. You should know that activities like these drain you faster, but . . ." he trailled off as he helped her put them on. "I think it's time to put those skills to good use."
Mia nodded as she headed out of the door with the doctor and nurses fighting to keep it shut. She looked back at the other soldier that entered just moments before. "You watch them," she said as she ran off through the thicket of moving trees. She pulled out the swords, and with one shift of her foot cut through an over growing patch. She kept moving through the trees knowing that Alex was in trouble. Like before, but mostly to her. They for some reason could always sence the other, maybe it was a twin thing, but all she knew was that she had to get to her brother.
She ran past Trenton as he knelt on the ground, but she ignored him. The swords in her hands doing quick work of the Ivy's that tried to stop her. She was surpriesed that she could actually put to work what she learned. She wasn't freezing up like she did when she went one on one with her teacher. Mia could feel Alex, but it was weak. She looked around frantically for him, but couldn't see him. What she did see scared her to death. Several large flowers that moved like the Ivy's. As she took a step to them they went after her, but she quickly jumped out of the way. Another shifted by her, and then another. An then she felt him.
"LET HIM GO!" she barked as she charged another large flower. The Ivy's swinging at her, but she was just as quick on her feet. Her adrinalin working along the need to save her brother. She cut the Ivy's down just as they came up, and then right across the bottom of the plant. She turned and watched it topple over. Mia turned to look at the other plants as the shrank back into the trees for what she figured was just a delay. She didn't care she took it. Sheathing one of the swords she took the other and started cutting apart the plant until she seen him, and unmoving. Sheathing the other sword she reached down and grabbed him by the hand. The slim making it hard to move him, and the tingling sensation that she felt could mean a paraliss or something. She managed to move him free of the plant.
"Alex!" Mia cried as she shook him. She tried her best to whipe the slim off of him. Clearing his face so he could breath easier. "Alex, please wake up . . . I need you," she cried as she continued to try and shake him awake.

Alex's eye was twitching and he could barely feel anything. She shifted over so he was laying on his back and then inched his way so his back was against a thick tree. A tactical retreat if there was one to be had. His limbs were ridged and he fumbled to grab one of his D-Eagles. The weight was heavy and it was hard to lift up. He tried to say something to Mia but it just came out as a gurgle and whisper. With his vision becoming hazy he fired away at an Ivy closing in on there position. The three shots just ripped through the bell of the Ivy barely causing it to waver. It was like shooting paper. Even knowing this he kept shooting punching holes into it until his shots went wide and he passed out completely.

Mia flinched as she seen Alex pass out. She looked up to the Ivy as it made it's way to them. Shifting her position so she was standing in front of him. She held up her swords and waited for the Ivy to come closer. Instead of tiring herself out and chasing after the Ivy's she waited. When they were close enough she attacked, cutting through their vines with the swords then taking out their stalks. When they fell she took back up her guard in order to protect her brother. "Trenton!" she called out. "I need your help. Alex is hurt and I can't carry him." She turned her attention to the Ivy's continuing to cut them down as they continued to make their way to them. She knew it was only a matter of time before she couldn't fight herself, but until then she was going to protect Alex with her life.

The agent watched the sick women cut through the ivy's with disbelief, from what he knew of her condition how she could do that was somewhat unbelievable. Having taken care of the Ivys around him and the medical personnel he draw back on his experience in DC when he and his old unit had encountered Ivys there and drew his 1911. He could see the woman getting weaker with each attack and took no time lining up his shot. As a Ivy was closing in on both Alex and his sister it opened it's mouth to spit acid, the agent squeezed the trigger and sent a .45 slug through the open mouth and hit the Ivy's weakspot.
Using his knowledge of the weakspot and his pistol he made his way to Alex and his sister, having spent an entire magazine and reloaded by the time he made it to them. "Come on, lets go" he says as he grabs Alex's collar and starts combat dragging him back away from the Ivys and continues firing with his free hand.

Trenton finally makes it to his feet and shambles next to Mia. "Get him to the doctor. Drag him if your have to." He says before pushing her back and drawing one of his smoke grenades. Trentons theory was that the smell and the harder to breathe air would be enough to draw the plants away, if not, the light and sound made by the flashbangs would have to do. Trenton yanks the pin, drops the smoke grenade, draws the flashbang, removes the tape and throws it to the farther corner of the large greenhouse. "Go!" he shouts raising his rifle and backing out of the smoke just barely. "I'll get back there to help with the barricade as soon as I can." he says grabbing Alex's chest and pulling him up enough for Mia to get in a better moving posistion...
