[From Brocket's Gas Station]
A flare went up from 4 blocks away at Brocket's Gas Station. Lilly watched as it sailed up into the air and then slowly drift down toward the ground between the two buildings. Lilly then took her mirror and began to reflect light off of it trying to catch their attention. She didn't know if they had binoculars, a radio, or anything, but she wanted them to know that she was here... maybe they could help each other. She had her cell phone, but even if they had one, she didn't have a way to get her phone number to them. Short of acting out the numbers, they would be stuck on these two roofs with zombies wandering around between them.

"Yeah, I can hotwire, sure. But all the cars on the streets are either surrounded by the infected, or too destroyed to even run anymore. I got something on my mind, though..." With that, Cale walked over behind his little sister, and then put his hands on her shoulders, pointing her in the direction of an ambulance far down the single street inside the quarantine zone. "Take a look at the ambulance over there, its pretty much completely untouched. Plus, Itll be able to run right through these walkers, and get us out of here. The hard part would be getting to it first, though. With dads condition, it wont be as easy as just sprinting there, we have to find another way."
Before they could relish the idea, a flare had went, coming from the backside of the Gas Station rooftop. With the sun almost down over the hills, it lit up the dark sky like the fourth of July, and it was definitely a living person who fired it. Cale ran to the edge of the building, his little sister following at his side, the both of them started to wave their hands. Looking carefully, they could see the outline of somebody wave their arms too, trying to get their attention. "Theres other survivors in this place? We cant just leave them here, I cant just leave them here!" Quickly running to the emergency ladder, Cale was ready to go over there on his own, risking his own life to make sure the survivor would get out alive. But before he hit the ladder, he took out one of the two radios from his belt. "Quicker if im on my own, its just across the street, ill be fine. Ill radio in when im on the roof, five minutes tops."

Jamie groaned and watched her brother run off for the damsel in distress unless it was a guy, then that'd just make him a loser for not taking care of himself, properly. Either way, she didn't care much about the other person, but she was concerned of her brother's wellbeing. She took the radio and stayed behind with their father, who of course, was just as worried about Cale as she was, but also about the other survivor. He did care about people afterall. One very similar trait her brother and father shared.
"Alright, alright, I'll hang back with dad, just be careful, bro," she told him, sighing. As he disappeared from sight, she looked down at their father miserably. His leg did look pretty bad and she was definitely worried about it.
"You're not in alot of pain, right, Dad?" she asked, frowning faintly.

"Yes sweetie. I'm not in any form of pain." Jensen managed to say. He was in a large amount of pain. He decided to not say anything, Jensen didn't want to worry anyone. He looked down at his leg where the wound was. Blood was seeping through the wound. Jensen knew that in a matter of time, he would be slowing his children down. Worse than that, he knew that he would become one of those abominations that walked the streets. At that point, he would send Jamie and Caleb to handle something. Jensen gripped his revovler, he shuddered at the thought of pulling the trigger. Until then he had to remain positive. "Be careful Caleb, Jamie will need you soon..." Jensen muttered.

((Well, Rhinn isn't responding so I'm gonna.))
Jamie noticed her father's grip on his revolver and narrowed her eyes at the reverend. She crouched down to see her father eye to eye and as firmly as she could, she told him, "You do know that sucicide takes you straight to hell don't you, reverend-dad?". Ofcourse she didn't really believe in that, but she still knew her way around the bible much to her dismay. She also knew it could help remind her father that there were other options.
She didn't know what she or Cale would do if they'd lost their father. She, for one, would be entirely lost...He was all she knew and despite any fallouts over God and whatnot, Jamie loved her father more than anything. That being said, it wasn't long before she could hear the door down in the Sheriff's office being torn into. The familiar groans of the undead had haunted the lonely building.
"Sh--crap. Dad, we gotta get moving, come on, get up!" she cried out, grasping under her father's arm to help him to his feet.

Sliding down the ladder, Cale took out his handgun, and aimed to toward the back ally. Moving at a quick face to the corner, he moved around with the gun still up, but backed away when he saw the infected breaking through it now. Pressing his back against the fence, Cale put his gun away, and then ran back to the ally, away from the undead that now piled in from the street. But he tripped over a waist oil can, knocking it over, and watched as it spilled and pooled across the ground. After seeing the large group if zombies now trailing through the ally, Cale pulled out his small book of matched, and lit one up. Tossing it into the crowd, he leaped back, hanging onto the ladder as the horde was set ablaze.
Pulling himself back up and away from the charred infected, Cale climbed up quickly, and then popped his head back up to speak to the others. "Change of plans, theres no way out the back, were taking the front. Just, not now, ive it another fifteen minutes." It wasnt like he was ignoring the condition of his father, but Cale wasnt thinking about it at the moment. He wanted to get in contact with that survivor, tell them it wasnt safe to be on the street, in case they didnt know that already. After getting up onto his feet, Cale spoke out again, this time in a more collective manner. "Put your shirt over your mouth, Jamie..." The putrid smell of the burning corpse would be too much for her smaller stomach to even handle, Cale probably would have to do the same before long.

(ooc - Sorry, I didn't want to jump over Jensen in the posting order)
Lilly couldn't believe her eyes. She had just signaled the three people over on the Sheriff's Station when one of them climbed down the ladder.
"What the hell are you doing?", she yelled, knowing that the person couldn't hear her. She also knew what he was doing. Without any other way to talk, he was coming to her, probably with a radio so that they could plan their get away.
The young man had made it too the ground and was trying to make his way to her. She snapped her AR-15 and sighted down through the scope, concentrating on the undead around him. She pulled the trigger and sighted another one, pulling the trigger again. Two of the undead had their heads explode and they hit the ground. She would try to clear a path for him so that the could concentrate on running. Lilly cleared off another 5 rounds, downing another 3 zombies.
But the swarm was overwhelming. He seemed to go down and Lilly began to worry. Then, as suddenly as he went down, he was up and a fire was burning through the corpses of undead. Through the blaze, she saw that he had made it back up to the top of the station. They were safe for now, but the zombies were coming in contact with the building. If the building didn't burn down, the smoke circling the structure would give them trouble.
Lilly knew that she would have to get them. She fired 3 shots into the air to get their attention. Then she acted out what she had planned.
She pointed to herself. Then she motioned driving a steering wheel. Then she pointed in their direction. She hoped that they would get the message... she was going to drive to them.
Without waiting for an answer, she climbed down to the garage. It was now or never. She dropped the last 2 rungs to the ground and began to pack up her supplies, the gas, her ammo, weapons and food into the trunk of her car. In the front of her car, she loaded her rifle and her pistol. Then she looked around. Anna was no where to be seen.
Not having any other options, she pushed the button on the garage door, slowly opening it. Than she ran back to her car and started it up. The gas gauge held at full so she knew that her repairs would hold... for now.
Putting on her seat belt, she gunned the cruiser out into the parking lot. The fire had attracted most of the zombies around the gas station, which was good for her right now... bad for her because that was where she was heading. She honked her horn and gunned the engine, going faster than the undead could walk, but slow enough to keep them interested in her.
As she turned down a street to go parallel to the station, she honked more, seeing the zombies turn away from the building and began to slowly pursue her.

Jensen ripped of part of his shirt and tied it around his mouth. He followed Caleb down the ladder. As he saw the burnt bodies, gave them a silent prayer. Jensen lost his footing and fell to the ground. The pain in his leg was becoming unbearable. He shook the pain off and stood once more. "Don't worry, I'm okay Jensen said. He heard a horn blare, looks like the survivor had a car.

Jamie had used her jacket to cover her noise from the vile smell of burnt, rotten, flesh. Things were happening so fast, there were undead pushing down doors to get to the family, there was Cale, barking out madness, Jensen was hurt and a car was honking it's horn, blaring throughout the streets and attracting more undead. To her, but hey, better her than them, right? When the family had slipped off the rooftop via fire escape, the area was pretty clear since the undead had been thoroughly spread out as of now.
Things had only gotten worse, however. The roads began to quake violently, the terrible tremors had come closer and closer until the family had began to run away from what looked like the earth ripping apart beneath their feet.
Jensen had reached for his nearest child, Cale, shoving him forward as a massive, gulp worm of some kind had emerged to the surface, Jamie had been knocked onto the otherside of the giant chasm, smacking her back into a crushed, car, door. Groaning, she winced, opening her eyes. Her vision was blurred but she could see the monstrocity clearly. It was one of the damn grave diggers, of course that was just a name they'd given it way back in 2000, when they first experienced one.
"DAD! CALE!" she cried out, searching for them. They'd been sending off a couple of stray rounds at some closing in undead and the worm that only went back into the rubble. There was no way she was gonna be able to get around the damn thing now.
Frowning, she looked back at them as the ground began to shake again. "I can't cross! Go without me!"

The tremors had started up, and everything seemed to just give way as they got worse and worse. When that creature rose to the surface, Cale knew they were in trouble. It was creating holes in the ground, making it nearly impossible to cross. But the family tried, and succeeded. All but Jamie had gotten to the strangers car, the gap was too big for her to jump, and Cale knew it. He wanted to go back for her, but the tremors were just too violent, and he could be at risk of falling in. As quickly as it happened, Cale yelled out loudly to his little sister, opening the door or his father. "Get back on the roof while its occupied with the walkers, Jamie! Well meet you at the quarantine zone, use the back alleyways to avoid the streets!"
As much as he was against leaving her there, Cale knew it was the only thing to do right now. They wouldn't be gone for long, and he knew that Jamie would be able to handle herself. Shes done it before, plenty of time before. As Cale jumped in the front seat, he just not got a glance of the survivor, a female, gunning the peddle to the floor and racing down the street. "The quarantine zone, I saw an ambulance. We can use it to ram through the infected at the entrance of the town, plus its high enough for Jamie to leap onto from second window. Just keep driving!" Cale didn't know this woman, but he got a good vibe from her. Something told him that she knew what she was doing, and would help them get back to Jamie.

Enter Leo And Private Tim Kale (NPC) Leo looked around the police station as they entered the building. She held her AMT in her hand and looked to Private Kale. "We can move my bike into here." She walked out and moved her bike into the room. She pushed it against a wall and Private Kale walked towards the staircase. "I'm going to check upstairs. You secure this floor and we'll meet here in 10 minutes." Leo turned to him and nodded. She pushed her bike against the wall and walked behind the desk. She looked at the dead body and shot it in the head. She looked around the room and pulled out her phone. She dialed Erie's number and put it to her ear. "Come in Erie..." Static came back to greet her. She put it into her bag and walked towards the stairs. "Private Kale, I have a bad feeling about this." She walked up the stairs and looked around the room. She looked up and saw an open door. Leo lifted her gun and walked in. Kale rested on the floor while the room was empty, save a desk with a bunch of papers on it. She walked over to Kale and tapped his shoulder. "Private, we need to hole up this place. No telling when those infected will show up." She looked around the room and moved to the window. "My Sergeant told me to wait for you because I was bitten by a zombie." She turned and saw Kale reveal a bite mark on his arm. "I will leave you to handle the infection. I'll secure the exits." Leo walked out of the room and down the stairs. She closed the door and put a chair under the door knob. She heard a gunshot from upstairs and walked up the stairs. She walked into the office and looked at Kale's body. She walked over and pulled the gun from his hand. "Rest in peace, Private." She took the clip from his belt and pulled his walkie talkie from the belt and walked towards the door. She turned back to him and shot him in the side of the skull, before closing the door. She put the walkie talkie in her backpack and walked towards the jail cells. She looked around and stopped at the bottom of the stairs. Her phone rang and she pulled it out. "Agent Leo speaking." "Leo, we are sending a helicopter to go pick you up in 24 hours." "Thank you, Tesla." "That's not all, we sent Erie in to Still Creek. You have to meet with him. Last I heard he is at the Gas Station looking for survivors." "Tell him I'm at the Sheriff's Office. He'll have to come in the front door. He should knock first. Where will the Helicopter be?" "The Quarantine Zone." "Thanks again, Tesla."

==== Cameron and Rissa entering from Brockett Gas Station ====
A moan went up from the larger group and many of the walkers stopped and began to turn towards Cameron and Rissa. "Run!" whispered Cameron and he took off at a sprint for the last 10 feet to the sheriff's office. He put his gas can down by the door and stuck his blade through the hole in the door. It hit nothing but air and nothing tried to grab him. The moans were getting louder, but for now, they were blocked by either group by the short covering over the front door. Cameron pulled the damaged door open and quickly went it. Then he looked around his immediate area for any threats, which were none. When Rissa came through the door, he pushed the door closed and then sank to the ground under the front desk, waiting to see if anyone would follow them.

Rissa placed her gas can against the door, trying to block it slightly and kept low, letting the door conceal her presence as well. She silently prayed that the undead would keep walking, and that they would be safe. She looked around, checking to see if there was a better place they could hide, or if they weren't the only occupants in the building.
She looked at Cameron, wondering what their next move was going to be. Do they wait? The door wouldn't slow anything down if one of them tried to get through it.

Cameron waited for what seemed to be hours. Really, it was about 5 -10 minutes of hiding under the front desk. Soon, though, the sound of moaning grew silent as walkers found something else to chase or look and at wondered off.
After a few minutes of silence, Cameron stuck his head out from behind the desk and looked at the door. The top half was still broken open, but there were no zombies to be seen. He looked over at Rissa and nodded toward the back of the office, where he thought the weapons locker was at. Cameron stood up and began to make his way down the short hallway. He looked back to see if Rissa was following him.
When he reached the door, Cameron gave it a three light taps, waiting to see if anything thing slammed against it. He waited a few seconds and gave three more taps, this time louder and quicker.
Nothing stirred.
Pulling out his machete, he slowly turned the doorknob, opening it.
He was mildly surprised when the nothing jumped out and tried to eat him. He stepped inside and quickly checked the area for anything dangerous.
Then he waved Rissa in. "Shut the door", he whispered.
Let's check the closests (there were two) for the weapons locker and then check the room for a key for it."
Cameron went to the left door and opened it, looking inside.

Rissa closed the door behind them, glad to have a real door between them and the hungry dead roaming the streets. She saw one of them, saw that he was freshly dead. It was Parker, one of the men sent to bring her back. She wasn't sad he was gone. She had a nasty bruise on her left side from where he had kicked her when she had fallen. It didn't look like he had died quickly.
"I'll check the other cabinet. I hope we find something."
She pulled at the latches on the cabinet, but it didn't budge. She pulled harder, then stopped, letting out a yelp of pain as she felt the bruised muscles and ribs protest. She put on shaky hand on her side, and resisted the urge to kick the cabinet doors. All it would is make noise, and probably hurt her foot. She didn't need to be hobbled and surrounded by zombies.
