The second largest airport in Canada, and the only other one still under control by the living. Transportation is still connected to Vancouver via several planes and jets for civilian and military use. Its under control the the RCMP more than the military, but the joint effort keeps the place 100% safe to the public. The largest safe zone in Eastern Canada, the airport itself has several other building that branch off from the grounds. Two hotels and a casino occupy the remaining land, which are all walled off and guarded at all times.

[Anna and Arc enter the Inter. Airport]
As the airport came into view, Anna had glanced at Arc from the corner of her eye. The entire walk there had been mostly silent. She hadn't really noticed it before. She was busy trying to sort out a way to get back into Pennsylvania, how to get to Rich, how to explain to HQ that she wasn't dead...Then figure out what to do to keep her loved ones safe and help Arc while trying not to get her own ass killed. Arc on the other hand, well, he looked distracted.
"You should probably try to work out a strategy to keep yourself calm, keep whatever it is inside of you, from slipping and killing everthing," she finally told her friend. He was quiet.
"I don't want to have to pull a gun on you one day because I can't snap you out of your violent stupor. That'd suck and I'd prolly hate myself for it, you know..." she said. Still not much had been said from him.
Sighing, they'd neared the airport and much to her suprise there were soldiers spread out and scouting the area, securing it, heavily. She'd grinned widely. Maybe they'd be able to take them back to Pennsylvania, she was B.S.A.A., surely they'd oblige to the request. Of course getting through security with a man with red eyes seemed pretty impossible.
"Put your hood on or sunglasses, if you have any. Pretend you're blind or...something," she told him, grasping his arm as they'd gotten closer to the entrance.

Off in the distance, SS Jackson could see two figured approaching the airport entrance. Radioing to the men in the towers, he spoke out in a professional tone. "Two unidentified figured coming from on he west side, have your men be advised." Three soldiers in each of the two towers readied their C7 Assault Rifles, but hoped they werent infected. As they got closer, it was clear one of them was with the BSAA. As for the other, it was unknown. "Theyre with the BSAA, jurisdiction doesnt cover Canadian soil, inquire details on the prisoner before you open those doors, and keep an eye on them."
~~
"Yeah, ive been trying to keep in control. The more I try, the worse it gets when I fail. I cant even remember killing them. But I have nightmares about it when I close my eyes, recollection." It was unexplainable, he couldnt explain what goes on in his head when he does frenzy. Its like a combat high, but its impossible to kick out of. "Anna, if a bullet is what it takes when the time comes, just make sure you dont miss." Arc wanted to speak out loud, but he only kept the comment to himself, not wanting to press it further than it needed to be pressed.
The baggy hood over the uniform his was given was all that he needed to keep his eyes covered. It worked all this time, no reason it wouldnt work now. Worst case scenario, they wouldnt be allowed to enter, and asked to leave. Keeping his eyes focused, and partially closed, dimmed out the red from glowing any under the hood. The blood would need to be explained, or at least cleaned up as soon as they got through the gate. By the way Anna held onto his arm, Arc didnt really know what she was trying to do, but maybe it was for better. As they got to the gate entrance, a handful of men had stood on the other side, each holding rifles. Arc kept his head down, and put his trust in Anna.

Security had confronted the duo at the gate entrance, all of which had their rifles at the ready incase of any suspiscious activity. Anna held her other hand out to them, showing she'd meant no harm. She was sure her branch had no jurisdiction in Canada but atleast they'd know she was safe.
"Identify yourself and your business, newcomer" one of the men asked. The other man, however had squinted his eyes through his helmet at her and lowered his weapon a bit.
Anna pulled her badge out for confirmation, handing it over to the helmetless man. He'd taken it and scanned the picture and the information printed on it. She was definitely B.S.A.A., not some civilian impersonating an agent. He'd handed it back and looked at Arc, suspisciously.
"Welcome, Agent McGraw....Your friend here? he asked.
Anna gestured toward him and frowned. "He's blind. Found him in the middle of the city near the border after a battle with rogue mercenaries. He was too close to the explosions and...I don't think he wants to show his face. It got pretty ugly. No offense, Griff," she told her friend.
The men were skeptical but the agent seemed to hold some sincerity about it and before he could comment further, the man with the helmet had lowered his weapon for him, gesturing for security that they were safe.
"She's safe, Emile. I know this woman, personally. For years, actually," he said. Anna tilted her head at the man. Was he helping her? She hadn't the faintest idea who this guy was considering his voice was completely muffled from the helmet.
He'd stepped forward to Arc and peeked under his hood. His face looked fine to him.
"Damn, son. F*cked ya up good." he lied, glancing back at his superior and nodding a bit and removing his helmet. His short, brownish blond hair and blue eyes had swelled Anna's anger and uneasiness. That bastard was alive.
"So can we come in, for a bit? Griff really needs some rest."

When Anna shown that she was serious about lying to the military personal about him being blind, Arc was uneasy at first. However, thought it wasnt explained immediately, the pair had been let through by a voice that sounded reasonable enough to him. However, he kept quiet the the whole. It was never in his interest to speak, only when it was needed, but he just didnt feel safe talking right now. His voice has been undergoing some differences as well as his personal ability, and it wasnt until the latest even that he noticed the swelling in his throat. It hadnt been blocking air passage, or anything vital, but would make him sound a lot more rusty, almost like and elderly man, it was the same feeling you got when you had a spreading cold.
Caughing several times, not making it apparent whether he was trying to get Annas attention or if he needed to actually clear his throat, Arc spoke out the best he could, trying to hold back any indications that he was feeling sick. "Something to drink, actually, does the airport still have cafeterias open for business?" Another soldier heard the question, and immediately spoke out, almost as if he as assigned to answer any questions related to the Toronto-Pearson. "Somewhat, yes, but any forms of currency or bartering isnt permitted up front. We do have a small compound in the luggage storage area where you can trade just about anything for tokens, and then use those tokens on food, supplies, or even the casino, if thats your thing. Heres a few, you and Agent Mcgraw take them, consider it a welcome gift."

Anna had taken the tokens and glanced up at Arc before looking at the other soldiers, nodding. She'd closed her hand around them and stuck them in her coat pocket. "Alright, thank you, much appreciated," she told them as they'd allowed her to pass through. The familiar man had followed suit, teling his peers he'd show them around.
"The mess hall's this way," he told them, walking infront of the two. Anna glared at him so hard, he could have sworn he'd felt the hairs on the nape of his neck, rise. He'd shivered a bit and coughed.
"This your way of thanking me for not lettin' them shoot up your friend here? Some things never change, darlin' ."[/b] he spoke. The redhead wandered on behind and when they were brought into the empty messhall, he'd stopped in mid step and turned to face them, only to get a punch thrown his way. He'd quickly grasped onto her wrist, evading it and grinning, only to get a boot slammed into his groin. He coughed out and grunted, lurching over. "Oomph! Urgh....argh damn..."
The redhead glared and walked passed him. "So why's it empty in here?" she asked.
The man coughed and limped away to take a seat, catch his breath. "Everyone else ate their lunch already, they're cleaning up in the back...sh*t Anna, those steel toe or what?!"
Anna ignored him and looked back at her friend. His voice had been raspy and seemed hoarse. Was it because of the infection? "You feeling any better, Arc?" she asked.

Trying to hold back the feeling inside of him, Arc just stood his ground, and watched as Anna was "attacked". At the same time, she had delivered the last blow, and then spoke. But something wasnt right, he was missing something here, and couldnt figure it out in the moments he was given. It was when Anna asked him if he was feeling all right that Arc tightened his hand into a fist, trying to control the urges. Staring at the soldier, he gazed form under the hood, breathing heavily. Ignoring her question, he finally opened his fist, and grabbed hold of the soldier that escorted them. Throwing him onto a table, his grip tightened, holding him firmly in place, and just giving him enough vocal capacity to run on fifteen seconds of air, including the part where he answered a question of his own. "Im feeling a little pressured... Is there something youd like to say? Something that might give me a good reason let you live?"
Letting go of the man, Arc back away, turning around as to not even look him in the eyes. Caughing several times to himself, he covered his mouth, trying to get it out of his system. But after a good ten seconds of violent hacking, a strange consistency of a dark, quagulated blood lined his palm. Arc didnt let Anna see it, making a fist and turning to face the man, who had been back on his feet. He didnt look to thrilled, but before he could retaliate even with a few words, Arc spoke out, walking to the exit door of the mess hall. "Ill meet up with you later..." This small sentence had almost been inaudible, the rasp in Arcs voice had been severe.

When Arc attacked the soldier, Anna had gasped and reached a hand out to grab him but figured it'd be dangerous to do so. Scott was thrown into a table, causing soldiers outside to come rushing in and the cooks to come out from back of the room to see what the ruckus was. By the time they'd gotten there, Scott was up on his feet, gesturing to them that he was alright.
"It's alright, he bumped into me and I fell into the table, it's good, carry on," he told the others as they'd hesitated to break up and return to their posts. Arc suddenly began coughing violently into his hand. Before long, he'd managed an almost inaudible choke of words, saying he'd meet up with her later.
She'd placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. "No, no, in your condition, your ass is staying where I can see you, Arc," she told her friend before glancing at the man who was glaring at him.
"Scott, take us somewhere private, we'll get some water later," she told him. Scott felt his fists clench tightly before switching his glances between her and him. He finally nodded and took the liberty of taking the lead, yet again. Anna looked back at Arc again.
"If you're not sure you can keep this inside for a bit, we should probably leave and come back later so we can catch a ride back to Stoneville, PA," she told him.

"Ill be fine once I have something to drink..." Arc spoke out, sort of gesturing for Anna to just trust him, and then he walked away on his own. He didnt really care if they were following or not, he could catch up with her whenever he was settled, but as for now, he needed to numb down the feelings inside. Walking out of the mess hall, Arc quickly came about the trading post within the airport. Not even did he look back over his shoulder to see anybody was watching, not even to see if Anna had been following him. If she was, maybe she would understand, but it wasnt something he was willing to bring out in public. Especially not in the security of an airport on forign ground.
Taking the PSG1 from around his back, Arc lay it on the nearest table, assuming the whole setup wasnt even open yet. However, there was somebody working on the other side, and when he seen the large rifle, he questioned his intentions with curious eyes. "Two bottles of whiskey, for this..." The woman on the other side of the counter looked at the gun in its entirety, picking it up and checking the magazine. In that time, Arc brought up two magazines full, tossing them onto the table as well. "Take these, too..." The woman looked back and fourth, making sure nobody else had been paying attention. The whole area wasnt even open yet, but she was willing to make the trade. A value like this, the man mustve been strange in the head, for two bottles of whiskey? "Here, this never happened, okay?"
Nodding to her, Arc began to caugh violently once again, covering his mouth. The woman did look a little worried for him, figuring he mustve had some sort of drinking problem. But after all, it was business, and she was getting the better deal in her eyes. "The airport bathrooms are just around the corner, in the lobby. Thank you for support, please have a safe flight." Placing one of the bottles in his hoody, Arc picked up the other one in his hand, instantly walking towards the bathroom. Out of the corner of his eye, Anna had finally gotten inside the lobby, but he wasnt taking the risk of stopping out in public. Before even getting to the door, he opened up the first bottle of hard liquor, and began to down the whole seven fifty bottle. Sitting down around the corner out of sight, he gotten halfway through when he stopped to breath. Screwing the cap on the rest of it, he placed it into his pocket with the second bottle, and just sat on the floor with his eyes closed.

Anna followed after Arc but lost sight of him momentarily in a crowd of others, trying to get to boarding terminals. Being pushed around and shoving the bastards out of her way, Scott grasped her shoulder tightly.
"Anna, can we talk? I really need to talk to you,"
She'd shrugged her shoulder from his grip and kept going through the crowds, she'd kept her mouth shut and finally, when she'd emerged from the passing crowd, she'd spotted Arc leaving the trading post without his rifle and turning into a lone hall with the bathroom sign above the archway. She'd continued to follow, regardless of where he was going.
Scott followed and when she'd entered the hall, he'd grasped both shoulders and turned her around to face her, looking down at her angry face. "What?! What is it?! Can't you see I'm worried about my friend? Personal f*cking space," she told him. Immediately she'd grimaced after considering the fact that Arc wanted that too but she wasn't abiding by his wishes. Course this situation called for her presence. It was obligatory.
Scott raked a hand through his hair.
"You're not worried about him. You're ****ed off at me."
She raised a brow farther.
"I'm pretty sure I'm not. Scott, look, it's important that I go see if Arc is alright, okay? After that, I need you to get me and him on a plane into Pennsylvania."
The man glanced at her, his throat dry and itchy all of sudden and his stomach tightening. She was urgent to get back to Pennsylvania for a reason, maybe Lucy was there and if she was...then he'd have to go back with her, right? Make things right, again. He'd licked his lips a bit and coughed, staring her straight in the eyes.
"I-Is she there?"
Anna frowned and looked away. "Scott...
He'd moved to the side a bit, making her look at him. "Is she...?"
She'd sighed and grabbed his hands on her shoulders, prying them off and practically pushing him aside. She'd lowered her head and shook it, moving back toward the bathroom. He'd followed anyway, unaware of her actions. She hadn't seen Arc in the hall which could only mean one thing. She'd groaned and glanced at the Men's Room door.
She'd pinched the bridge of her nose before pushing it open and entering, uncaring of another man who was at the urinals. He'd quickly zipped himself up and ran out, squinting, uncomfortably at her. She'd grinned and looked around to see Arc hanging out in the corner.
Folding her arms, she'd smirked. "You look like a homeless man. And you're s'posed to be blind, walking all the way here on your own kinda f*cks up our allibi, good sir,"

Laying against the wall, with his eyes closed, Arc breathed in and out until he was nearly completely calm. After a minute or so, he grabbed the bottle, and sucked back another couple of swigs. When it was nearly finished, he just let the bottle sit on the floor, only a few mouthfuls remaining. Thats when Anna came around the corner, commenting on his actions, and her arms crossed. It was evident she wasnt too happy about the condition she was in, but the only thing she could do was tell her how it was. "...Blind, old, it doesnt matter, one lie or another. The whiskey tells me not to care, and if I dont care, than I cant hurt anybody. Im just a drunk, an alcoholic, trying to enjoy himself. I can blend in, I think. Dont you think so, too? If I dont know how to calm myself down, than I can turn to the bottle."
His voice had been much clearer now, but there was a change, anybody who knew what he sounded like before could tell. His change of voice wasnt his concern, nor was the blood that he caughed up. The only thing he wanted to do was forget about everything, and just calm down. There was absolutely nothing on his mind right now, nothing except getting to a hotel room. He seen them from the outside of the airport, they usually had rooms available for people catching early flights. There was no doubt they would be available to the public, even if it cost the rest of the tokens Anna was given. Standing up, and keeping himself stationary using the wall, Arc spoke. "Sorry about earlier, I just didnt know what to do, I dont get to decided what I do. Its all decided for me when the beast takes over." As of now, it was obvious that he was drunk out of his mind, but it was the best thing to happen to him. He didnt have to worry about losing control now. If the alcohol took over, it was better than the beast.

Anna listened to Arc's newly acquired stupor. Which was a drunken one. Not much for her to say now. He was right, if it kept him sane, then it was probably a good idea to drink it away but there was such a thing as "Alcohol Poisoning". When he hobbled upto his feet, grasping onto the wall for leverage, she'd unfolded her arms and walked over, grasping underneath that arm, wrapping it around her neck.
"Well, c'mon then. Let's get you a room or...something. I'm not letting you get wasted alone. Scott'll help us out with that, I'm sure. Just ignore his a*s hole remarks. He's a bastard," she told him as she lead him out of the bathroom. Scott awaited them and when he'd seen Arc staggering about, he could smell the alcohol on him. Glancing at Anna, she'd nodded her head elsewhere.
"How much are the hotel rooms? I think we'll be stayin' the night until we can get a flight in the morning," she told him. He grumbled under his breath but immediately lead them toward their destination. He'd get her alone soon enough and when he did, there'd be questions for her to answer.
"C'mon, buddy, no need to trade anything for more alcohol. I'm packin' my own," she chuckled, patting at her coat.

As Anna helped him gain his balance, Arc finally felt a load off of his mind. This is actually the first time in a long time where he didnt have a single worry. He didnt have to worry about losing his cool under the influence, alcohol never affected him like that. At the same time, he drank too much for a reason. It took about ten minutes for it all to settle in, and knew it should take about three to four hours to kick out of. Hopefully, he would be asleep before that. Putting that aside, Arc wanted to know how the virus reacted to the consumption of alcohol, would it break it down faster? Maybe it would turn out to be a good method for controlling his urges, at least until he grew into it. The caughing up blood meant that on the inside, he was mutating. He just needed to be away from public when it did happen, the last thing he wanted was to get gunned down by the military. Not because the bullets wouldnt damage him, but he would most likely take down at least half of them before falling.
"I was tired of lifting that thing, anyways. I got it from the BSAA heli before the crash. Worked wonders in the lunatic mansion, but against the shambling freaks? Not enough ammunition, and ammunition is scarce, so it wouldve been better to trade it anyways. Couldnt justify wasting tokens on a mass amount of firewater, so I did what I did cause I did it and did it, did it, I just did do it, didnt yeah? Yeah, I did, and now? Im drunk as a skunk, and feeling better then ever." The whole time he had been talking, the three of them gotten up to the hotel room, Annas friend Scott opened the door for them. Lightly pushing away her arm, Arc stood in the center of the room on his own. First things first, he scanned the sides of the rooms, every vector possible, for camera or any listening devices. The ones in Vegas had camera, it wasnt breaking any laws when there hadnt been any laws anymore. "No cameras?"

Scott shook his head. The hotel room was one of his own and since he was trusted, they'd allowed him to remove the cameras, himself. He'd rubbed the back of his neck, glancing between Arc and then Anna who had disappeared into the bathroom. He'd scoffed a bit and stood quietly in the corner near the window overlooking the airport.
Anna laughed at Arc's drunken rant, she'd never seen him drunk before but it was hilarious and all of a sudden, things felt a little bit better. Moving into the bathroom, she'd looked around to see it was nice sized, not too cramped but not very luxurious either. Her smile uncurled into a frown as she'd hung her head again, grasping the counter and looking up into the mirror at her reflection.
Her face was filthy, sweaty, scarred and had a few bruises. Her skin was greying from soot after the explosion. She'd turned the faucets on and watched the water pour down, taking her gloves off and putting them aside. She'd dipped her hands into the cold water and splashed it on her face, washing away some of the filth.
A whole day sitting in Canada while Crowley or...the German guy could be on their way to the checkpoint to shoot up the damn place. Or both!
She'd shut her eyes and squeezed them tight, clenching her teeth together. The sudden images of people fleeing and being gunned down like animals was alot but when she'd kept reimaging Richard being shot up or Aryn being beaten or taken, it'd brought tears to her eyes. Arc would be able to handle himself just fine but the way he'd responded emotionally to the problem seemed like if anything would kill him, it'd inevitably be, him, himself. Another worry on her mind.
Meanwhile outside of the room, Scott looked back at Arc and then the bathroom door.
"So who are you, anyway? How do you know, Anna?" he asked.

Looking around the room, it was perfect, he didnt like to be monitored by anybody. Looking back Scott when he answered the question, Arc didnt really feel like answering anything he asked, but since he was obviously Annas friend, he could at least tell him their relationship. "Couldnt tell you the exactly date, but a long time ago in Raccoon City, she ran into me. I was abandoned by the BSAA back then, failed to come back from a mission, announced dead. For a few years, lived in the Arklay Mountains, came into the city for food and supplies. Around the time I met Anna, I never really had any place to stay, just lived off whatever I could find. Im a wanderer now, not much else to say. Im making an effort to reviving safezones around the United States, and Canada as well."
It was ironic how Anna was in the BSAA, and yet he was suppose to be killed in action. She wouldnt tell the HQ he was still alive, thankfully. Maybe if his condition got any better it would be an option, but until then, he was just another wandering survivor, trying to do something productive with the life he made for himself. "She came here to make sure the Airport was still under military control. From the looks of things, its not making and slipups, the place is completely lockdown. Im sure you know about the Las Vegas incident, the breach in security. People know how dangerous it can be, and they know exactly how to maintain a defense now." The first part was a lie, that wasnt why Anna was in that chopper to begin with. In all honestly, it didnt matter, because the rest of the group was killed. If Anna was aware of any goals by the BSAA, they would be finishing them up now, not sitting in a hotel room.
"The Stoneville Checkpoint is very safe, Anna's taken it upon herself to make sure of that. Theres a good group of people there watching it over. Im sure if anything happened, they would be able to handle it. But still, thats where were headed tomorrow, back to the checkpoint, check up on things." Anna had left the bathroom just in time to hear Arc speak out the checkpoint, and he directed his attention to her while he spoke, insuring that she knew what he was implying. He might be drunk, and barely able to walk, but his judgement was never clouded. "...And if there was anything threatening the safety of the place, id take it upon myself to deal with it personally. Thats what I do."
