This mall has been ransacked four times over. The metal shutters that once protected this place have been shattered. The store names have even been torn down. The only way to know which store had what items is to look through the charred and destroyed remains. Zombies and other creatures stalk the halls and stores. Elevators are offline and most of the escalators are broken down into scrap metal. The roof is caved in heavily and the remains of a helicopter are strewn about through the massive fountain in the center of the mall. It seems the helicopter crash destroyed most of the mall and took out the security measures in place, letting in the ghoulies. It's three stories, so there's plenty to explore.

The roar of helicopter blades can be heard as a black craft hovers over the Mall roof, its blades beating the air down onto and dirty roof, blowing dust and debris away. In the copter to figures can be seen.
"Thanks for the lift man, say hey to the wife and kids for me" a man in his mid 30s says to the pilot before roping down to the mall roof.
"Stay safe James" the pilot says over the radio before taking off to the north.
*Switch to 1st person POV*
I watch the copter fly away from the Mall and the Raccoon city area. This is my first time in the city, odd seeing as I was almost destined to die in this god forsaken city. I check my equipment and draw my M9, my 'Samurai Edge', and affix one of my newest purchases onto the barrel, a silencer, bought with my Task Force Pantheon pay.
I check the other weapons and make sure they are secure, as well as my gear, don't want no extra noise now do I?
I move forward to the entrance to the Roof access stairway, taking out a single zombie wandering on the rooftop with a single shot to the head, "Time to aim is a precious thing" I say before sighing and advancing downward.
*3rd POV*
After an hour of avoiding and killing the odd zombie James makes it safely out of the mall, having waited for his contact, who had been a no show.
Now he was stuck in the city with no way out, and was now having to make his way to the Airport, and he was hoping he could explain a few things to get his way onto a plane out of here.
*James is now in the Raccoon City airport*

Riding up to the mall, and shooting the zombie at his back that was trailing him, he looked at the wreckage of what was once a great place, and probably should have held out for a while.
"Fangren, let's stay here, in case anyone is nearby. We can't have others show up and not see if we can help."

Mickey Leona ran throughout the streets. She admitted that she had been lucky. With a baby in one arm and another holding a knife, hiding from zombies wasn't the easiest thing to do. In fact, it was probably something that nobody else had to deal with. Thankfully in the few hours Mickey and Chelsea had been running for help, Chelsea had only been awake for forty-five minutes. Even then she was quiet. Mickey was the only one making noises.
Chelsea suddenly began to fidget. Her lips began to shake before opening. A little cry came out of her small mouth. The noise caught the attention of the zombies around. Three were feeding on the corpse of an obese man while four others were wandering around to look for more food. All of them heard Chelsea's cry and came towards the living lunch.
They followed Mickey as she ran with Chelsea towards the nearby mall. They weren't running, but Mickey ended up getting slower. Running, maneuvering around objects, and carrying extra weight for hours easily tired her body. "Shhh...it's okay, Chelsea. We'll be safe soon." Mickey said softly to the crying child. It helped a little. They baby quieted down, now making soft cries.
Suddenly, Mickey heard a sharp bullet. Finally! Somebody could help her. Who would turn away a woman and baby? She ran up to the person in front of the mall and asked breathlessly, "Excuse me? Can you help us?"

"Yeah, are you all right? I'm Kalonov Dyne. And what's the problem? Zombies? Long-tongues?" Kal looked behind the girl, and saw about 17 zombies. "Fangren, stay back, boy. You too, miss." Kal picked up his shotgun, dropped his bag, ran up to the zombies, and shot them at close range. "Man, I'm out of ammo, and there's more." He ran back and reloaded, and asked, "What's your name, anyways?"(I only killed about 2 who where very close together, and zombies ARE slow. I didn't even do anything to the others yet.)

ooc: You're going to have to write down how many you took down. If you don't do that, then I'll have to go under the assumption that you just went and killed all of them at a close range.
"I'm Mickey Leona." Mickey introduced herself as nicely as she could at the moment. She wished that the zombies were gone so she could put down the knife she was holding and shake his hand, but she couldn't always get what she desired. If she could, Chelsea wouldn't be crying her eyes out at the moment.
A nearby zombie reached for Chelsea while Mickey was introducing herself. He looked very similar to the one that tried to grab her back at the restaurant. Mickey saw this from the corner of her eye and, with her hand on the knife, swung it at the zombie, severing two fingers. When it continued coming, she kicked it in the stomach. He fell backwards but got up again not long afterwards and continued coming towards her.
Mickey swung her knife again when he got close. The slashes on the arms didn't do anything, but then she remembered watching Kal take down two zombies seconds earlier and where their weak spot was. "You will not take her!" Mickey shouted at the zombie before stabbing it in the head with the knife. This time, when the zombie went down, he stayed down, but she had to use more of the little strength she had left just to pull it out of the head. Pieces of brains and bone was onto the now blood-covered knife. Chelsea tried to reach for the knife, thinking it was some sort of toy, but Mickey refused to let her touch it. This caused her to continue to cry.
Mickey looked around. There were more zombies coming and with Kal not being able to use his gun and Mickey armed with only a knife, they wouldn't be able to survive if they stayed in that one spot for much longer. "Could we possibly talk somewhere safer?" Mickey asked hopefully.

[Sorry, but I wasn't able to get on in a while] "Uh, sure," said Kal, drawing his pistol and attaching the laser pointer. Fangren was standing in front of the small group, barking wildly. "I know this is just hope talking, but it may be safer inside. Plus, me making a baby saddle for the kid may help." Kal fired a round, but hit only part of the neck, stunning the zombie. Another round to the head killed it. "I'll slow them down, now go!"

Mickey smiled at Kal. It was nice to see somebody that was willing to not only help her but seem to acknowledge Chelsea's presence. It would also be great for a little carrier to be made for Chelsea in order to give Mickey's arms a little rest. Mickey gave a quick nod and said quickly, "Please be quick."
With that, Mickey opened the door to the mall and stepped inside. A hand grabbed her left leg and caused her to let out a squeak of surprise. A man in his 40s with what seemed like a snapped spine and bites on his arms and legs crawled up and grabbed her leg. His mouth opened. "H-help m-me." the man rasped before taking a final breath and released the grip on Mickey's leg.

After about 3 minutes, Kal had finished off the rest of the zombies outside. He ran into a clear area, and quickly formed a carrier about the baby's size out of the ducttape and medical wrap he had.
"Come on, boy. Let's go." Kal brought Fangren and his bike into the entrance that Mickey used. He saw that a man was dead near her, and that he had bite marks all over him. "Mickey, get away from him! He's gonna turn soon!" shouted Kal, not taking aim for fear of shooting her.

Mickey jumped and, in the sudden movement, nearly dropped Chelsea in the process. She never got to see a person dying and transforming into a zombie, but she didn't want to start seeing it now. When the young woman backed over at to where Kal was standing. She stopped when she heard the sound of something wet followed by the sound of a little step and a moan.
Mickey turned her attention towards the sound and saw the same man that begged for help before dying. He was looking at her with his blank, milky eyes. His mouth was open and gave out the moans. His skin was now pale and scabby. He couldn't walk due to his spine, so he was starting to crawl towards the three with his hands carrying him.
Mickey looked at her knife and down at the position of the zombie. She would have to kneel down in order to stab the zombie in the head and she didn't want to risk Chelsea's life just to attack the creature. She turned her head at Kal and pointed at the zombie, hoping that he would get the message to kill the creature.

"Here, take this," Kal said, handing her the carrier. Now having a safe chance to shoot, he took aim and shot the zombie through the back of the head. "I saw the trouble you had with the knife in the zombie's head. Try for the neck. You can stun or kill them via hitting there, and it won't cause you so much trouble. Also, you may need this." Kal handed her the shotgun, and a sack of ammo.
"So, should we raid this area?"

Mickey looked at all the things she was being handed. The carrier was a sweet thing and it looked sturdy enough to be able to hold her down until Mickey got a proper carrier that would most definetely not fall apart. So far, Chelsea was taken care of although it did take Mickey a while to get the baby into the carrier. Her crying was getting louder. She sounded scared, hungry, and confused...plus, Mickey was pretty sure that she would need a diaper change any minute now.
In order to place Chelsea in her new carrier, Mickey had to place her knife on the floor then picked it up again, when the carrier was fastened onto Mickey's body. The extra weight was lifted off her tired arm, but by looking at the shotgun and the bag of ammo, it seemed that she was about to get more weight put on them. She'd never held a gun before in her life so her aim was bound to be terrible if she could manage to juggle both the gun and the knife, which she refused to part with, at the same time. The extra bag of ammo was another story. There was no way she could take it.
"You take the ammo." Mickey said, refusing the bag. She smiled and said softly, "Let's go. We need to get somewhere safe so I can get her to stop crying."

"All righty then," Kal replied, taking the ammo back from Mickey. "We may not have time now, but you may need a holster for that knife, and gloves for hand-to-hand combat. The slightest scratch from a zombie tooth will leave you infected. Maybe there's a sports store with baseball gloves here." Kal looked around quickly.
"Aha! A map! The signs are destroyed mostly, but a map may help." He ran over to a nearby map stand, and quickly scanned it, drawing a rough sketch on his note pad. "Look, there's a guns store on the 2nd floor, a sports depo in the back on the 1sd floor, and 2 stores with baby items; one on this floor an the other on the third. Also, raiding some more may prove useful..." 'Man, I need to slow down.'
"So, where should we hit first? I'd suggest the sports depo, since it's right over there," said Kal, pointing to his right.

"Hand to hand..." Mickey whispered. She'd never had the urge to lay a palm or fist on another person no matter how annoying they were. Even back when she had exes that broke her heart, she couldn't find it within herself to attack them. It just wasn't in her. Of course, due to the current circumstances, she knew she would have to deal with it and find a way to fight hand-to-hand.
She would personally rather have loved to make it to a nearby baby store so she could calm down Chelsea. From the few hours Mickey had been carrying around Chelsea, the woman learned that Chelsea's crying was pretty much a dinner call for the zombies.
"I don't mind where we go first, but I can't spend too much time in the sports shop. If she cries for too long, it could be harmful to her and she could end up calling a wall of those creatures that were outside." Mickey explained. She bumped Chelsea a little bit, hoping the movement would help quiet the building a little bit, but the cries only mixed in with the faint sounds of moans.
"Besides, I think the store for baby items are only two stores up from the sports store." she finished.

"Okay... I'll run in there, grab anything we may need, and come back out. Come on, Fangren." Kal ran inside, and grabbed elbow and knee pads from the first shelf on the left. He looked back, and saw gloves and baseballs, ran back, and grabbed 3 baseballs and 2 pairs of gloves. He slipped on a pair of gloves, replacing the medical gloves he had on, and put on a pair of elbow and knee pads.
"Here you go, boy," said Kal, handing a baseball to Fangren, who held it proudly. He ran up, and grabbed $756 from the cash register. When he got out, he gave $378, a pair of gloves, and elbow and knee pads to Mickey. "So, any trouble?"
