Louis could hear a lot of noise, and then the voice, it sounded like Andreya calling his name. He wanted her to just get out, if the snake was occupied with him, both her and Thorton should just get out while they could. But it seemed that she wanted him to live, as the calling repeated, telling him so. He felt his body hit the ground, the snake had let go, but why? Louis opened his eyes to see the serpent now on the ground, jerking around violently, but it seemed that it couldnt move around the room. There was a sharp pain in his chest, but he just sucked it up and rolled to his SMG, picking it up. He then pointed it at the snakes head, from near point blank range, and then yelled out as it opened it mouth. "Why wont you just die motherfu-!"
His words were cut off with the sound of his machine gun filling the room, firing a whole magazine into the snakes mouth. Blood matted the roof above them, but the large creature stopped struggling, and just lay motionless on the ground. "Urgh...!" Louis dropped his SMG onto the ground and lay down onto his back. His lungs were trying to pump as much air as they could, but his ribs were in rough shape from the snake. He managed to pull himself against the wall, and closed his eyes, breathing heavily. Without looking up, Louis spoke out. "That was... One... Ugly... Son of a b*tch..."

Thorton slid down against the wall after the rhetoric of the fully automatic gunfire died down. Finally. Finally, the f**king thing was dead. Good god... All the things he had done in his life. From being a kid working his ass off on a farm to being a Marine and busting his ass on the PT grounds and the battlefield, he had never been this sore. All the zombies, the monsters, the killing machines made for only the purpose of killing other beings he had killed in the last years had nothing on a creature of nature on a bad day.
"Everyone..." He said, panting a breath out after saying it. "...ok?" He finished, coughing from lack of air and clutching the wound on the back of his head. A damn shower wall hurt him more than the damn snake, and that was just f**king embarrassing.

Andreya laid on the foot of the bed after finding that Louis was okay. She was crying silently to herself as she held her arm to her chest tightly, and nearly laid curled into a ball. She trembled on occasion, and her silent sobs held painful coughs in them. Above them it shouldn't like furniture was being moved, but in the room a dead snake laid sprawled out in the middle of it. Blood soaked the walls. The movement and the sound seemed to go on for minutes before all fell silent. Not even the sound of footsteps. Andreya laid on the bed nearly half in and half out of her sleep. An her heavy coughing seemed to dye down a bit when she was half a sleep, but not as much as she herself would have liked.

Louis sat and rested for another few minuts, and then got enough energy to pull himself up. Using the wall as balance, he held his breath, and moved toward the bathroom, or what was left of it, rather. He had to manuver around the dead snake, but it was rather easy to get over. Upon moveing to the mirror inside, he leaned his hands on the sink, holding himself up. When he tried to take a deep breath, his chest didnt respond very well, and the pain struck him sharply. Louis turned, and then fell into the bath tub, laying at the bottem with his head resting on the edge.
Louis knew Thorton had the door covered, and Andreya was already laying on the bed, they should all be fine for the night. "Im done... We'll..." He let his arm drop out of the tub, holding the SMG against the side, and then closing his eyes. There would be no way he could move around much, and even if he managed, it wouldnt be a good idea. They all needed rest, recooperation until tomorrow. "...We'll be fine..." Louis drifted off to sleep, not exactly peacefully, but he was out like a light.

"What the hell are you up to now?" Thorton whispered to himself, eyeing the cealing. He wouldnt be surprised if a hole appeared out of nowhere and out shot that f**ker throwing crazed parrots everywhere. After sicking a snake on them that didnt have any business being here on them, nothing was going to surprise him.
He fought against the pain in his skull as he stood and looked around for his Glock. About now, it was the best weapon to use. Unless this guy had more snakes around here, which was doubtful, a big bore weapon wasnt the answer. But, an automatic firing .357 SIG rounds would be perfect for the psycho.
He limped over to the bed and took a seat on it, checking Andreya over for any bad injuries. She seemed 'ok' for now. They should have just kept running.
"Lou." Thorton called from where he was. He waited for a response before he went further. "How much ammo you got for that MP5?"

Louis wasnt even sleeping, he just couldnt seem to, it was the best time anyways. After hearing Thorton shift outside of the bathroom, he then heard him ask how much ammo he had left for his MP5. Bringing up his arm, unavoidably clanking it onto the bathtub, he ejected the magazine onto the empty floor. Looking at his belt, he had saw five more magazines, but four of them were empty. Placing the lasted one back inside his gun, he reloaded, and then placed the empty one back to his belt. Letting it drop back down in a slump with his arm by the side of the bathtub, Louis responded out with as much effort as he could. "Other then the full clip in my gun now?... I got nothing left for it..."
Louis did feel pretty bad about not having more, but they did do a lot of shooting ever since he left his SUV, whats where he kept all the ammo. He couldnt salvage most of it, mainly just the odds and ends he carried around now. But he did have more then enough ammunition for his .45 sidearm, thats what he will be using for the duration, saving the SMG for a tight spot. Louis turned his head toward the doorway, staring into the only mechanical lightsource, a bloodstained incandesent bulb. The lighting of the whole room was now painted with a reddish tinge, and mixed with the moonlight, it produced a deep glow.

Andreya laid nearly in a ball at the foot of the bed. She wasn't sleeping, but rather half awake. She sobbed slightly as her body trembled in both pain and a slight chill. She was still running a rather good fever, but she had managed to stop coughing once all of the events happened. She wanted to sleep, but she couldn't. She was almost terrified to sleep. Outside the wind howled and the rain beat against the side of the building. On the upstairs movment could be heard once more. Even now the faint barking of dogs seemed to echo threw the building.
She turned slightly to look at Thorton, before moving so that she could actually use his lap as a pillow. Her good arm reaching up and gripping his pant's leg tightly. She just laid there staring out at the wall. Sniffing slightly she closed her eyes, but still sleep wouldn't come to her. It wasn't to long before the sound of the dogs grew louder almost as if they were now roaming the halls, but it didn't sound like one. Rather than eight blood thursty bull dogs. They weren't the only creatures to be released into the halls, but for the time being they were safe within the confines of their room.

"Oh jeez, what now?" Thorton muttered as he got up and listened at the door. No mistaking the sounds. Barking, claws hitting the floor, all that noise that meant things were just getting worse.
"Ok, ok... Improvise. Been through worse with less." He said, checking not only his combat equipment but the mundane equipment they had laying around the room. Even for McGuyver, the options were slim. No explosives, even though it wouldnt be good using them. Ammo situation wasnt good so a shooting range was out of the question. He was only seeing one option. Armor up and get in a knife fight. That was going to suck something awful.
He started getting ready, sitting on the chair at the desk from earlier to get a small break as he did. While moving his arms, he bumped the MRE that had been ready to be cooked. The chemical heating bag was lying there, ready to be set up. "Wait..." He muttered, thinking. He had five MRE's. That meant five of the heaters. All of the powdered chemical in one bag, add water. Eventually it would blow under pressure and cover the entire hall in gel that was heated to about 300 degrees. And something told him these dogs were normal, given the fact that that weird f**ker was keeping them around.
He worked in silence, opening the first bag and then robbing the other packaged meals for their chemical bags. All of the powder fit, barely, into one bag with enough room to dump some water in, seal it, play hot potato to the door and toss it out. Chances were the things knew this was the door to go to. They'd be able to smell the blood a mile away. But just in case.
He wiped his hand over the back of his head, scooping away a fair amount of blood and smearing it onto the bag. The blood would heat and vaporize, putting the scent into the air. They'd probably grab the bag and try to rip it open before anything else. Perfect kill for that one.
He stood near the door with his canteen and the bag at the ready. The canteen was about half full, but it would take about all of that for it to do what he needed it to do. Moving slowly at first, he unscrewed the cap with his thumb and middle finger and let the cap fall to the ground. He then held the bag open by the corners, started to carefully pour the water in, and increased the speed. When the water was all in, he let the canteen drop to the ground and seal the bag quickly. Already the plastic was starting to stretch.
He ripped the door open, tossed the bag to the ground and snapped it back shut. The dogs snapped and barked at him, one of them getting its snout caught in the door as he slammed it. Wimpering could be heard among the barking as the others seemed to go ballistic.
Now, the waiting game...

Louis lay in the tub still, closing his eyes, and listening to the sounds from the room and in the hallway. Dogs? Someone wanted them dead, this was evident by this point. But they didnt know everyone was inside the room, so staying quiet was the best way to avoid them. He wanted to get up and out of the bathroom, but then he heard the shuffles from Throton. He had something planned, but Louis didnt know what it was, just the sound of him moving round. The door opened, as he gripped the SMG tightly and had it ready to aim at the door, but then it was closed instantly.
Louis wanted to speak out, to ask what was going on, but didnt want to attract the attention of the dogs. But when they started making more noise, he got a little uneasy. However, they werent going to the door, they were going somewhere else. But then suddonly, he heard a loud bang from the hallway. Rolling out of the tub and then to his feet, Louis slowely walked into the bedroom, and spoke out to Throton. "What the hell... Was that?!"

With the loud yelping of the dogs, and a small bit of steam rolling up from under the door. It wasn't to much longer before all went silent. The dogs that roamed freely in the halls now laid dead at the foot of the stairs where they tried to escape. But during those few moments, and unannounced to them. Outside in the raging storm someone worked vegrously to trap his new playmates within the building that had decided to take refuge in. The windows and doors were being borded up and blocked so that no one could get in or out. Well except for those who knew how to make their way around the building without being seen. Once he was finished he made his way back into the hotel, and back into the walls where he found his security. Moving slowly around and slightly morning his pets that he had just lost. He found his way back to their room, except without using the entrance to the bathroom, or the one to the clausent. No this one was well hidden. Mostly for the fact it laid in the corner of the room, and was well hidden thanks to the designs of the wall paper.
Pulling the door back ever slightly. Just barly out of the view of the bathroom's open door, and the other man's back turned to where he was facing the door. Probably making sure that the coast was clear, and that the dogs were dead. His pore pets a mear sacrifice to he could further his pawn in the game. Laying on the bed was his intended target. Something that wasn't going to fight back, and his very own leverage in this spectacular game. He had to be quick, and quite. One wrong move and it was all over. His hiding places his secret room. It would all be lost, along with his own life, but 17 years in this place. he knew it better than the owner himself. Creeping out of the door way he moved quickly to the bed. Quickly covereing her mouth as he picked her up, and finding it quite strange that she put up extremly little fight. He moved back to his hidden passage, and shut the door behind. Setting her down on the ground. He turned to seal off his door to the room so that they couldn't follow if they found it.
Walking to the girl he gripped her by the back of the shirt, and started dragging her down the passage way. Andreya started kicking and screaming as she tried to pry his hands from her shirt. When she had finally managed to break herself free. She was up on her feet in a matter of seconds. Ignoring the pain that coursed threw her body as she ran for her life, but no matter where she ran there was a dead end. She hit the walls trying to find her way out, but still there was nothing. She panted slightly as she could feel her chest tightning as she continued to run. Hoping that she would be able to find some way out of the maze. It wasn't to long before she was stumbling threw the maze, and she stumbled right now a small ramp. Rolling into what looked like a rather large room in the basment. She at least hoped so. She tried to climb to her feet, but only ended up on the ground again. She was panting heavily and trying her best to catch her breath. Looking around the room, the small beedy eyed man was just working away at his table, and in several area's of the room bones laid sprawled out.

"That, my friend, was part of an MRE. thats why we dont eat them when we have the choice." Thorton said, turning around and looking at Louis. As he did, he instantly saw something wrong with this picture. It only took him half a millisecond to see that Andreya was gone.
"Where did she go?" He asked, panic lacing his voice, well disguised by anger. That son of a b*tch did it again. When Thorton found him, he was going to see just how well he snuck around without legs.
"Where is she?!" He yelled, more out loud in general than talking to Louis.

Louis hadnt even noticed, that was the scary party about it. Andreya was just gone, he didnt hear a single sound, nothing. After Thorton called out, twice, Louis responded with a glance around the room. Looking around for a ventalation tunnel, or something that would make for a getaway, there was nothing in sight. Quickly dropping to the ground, he positioned himself under the bed, and then turned on his light. Flashing it around, he didnt see any vents under the bed, either. Painfully climbing back to his feet, he leaned against the wall, still standing, and then responded. "This is bullsh*t! It just doesnt make any sense..."
It was hard to be as worrying as Thorton was, but Louis acted quickly and did whatever he could to help find Andreya. Tightly strapping his MP5 around to his backside, he knew it wouldnt be getting any use for awhile. Instead, he drew out his .45 sidearm, and held it with both hands infront of him. Going over to the door, he opened it up, and stepped outside. But Louis saw the massacre of the dogs, it was really quite a brutal sight. Glancing back into the room, he motioned to Thorton that he was going to scout out the rooms. "We should go see what we can dig up... But you take it easy though, big guy. Im a lot lighter on my feet..." Louis knew that Thorton was strong, but he didnt want him pushing his leg. Especially after the encounter earlier.

Andreya laid in the floor nearly curled up into a ball. Her hands covered her head as her knees were pratically in her chest. She bit her lip in order to keep from crying. She was scared, and all she wanted was to be with Thorton again. The man worked as if he never even seen her. He fiddled with a bit more chemicles, before setting them down on the table. He looked down at Andreya before moving across the room to a set of cages. “My pore pets. I’ll let you have your revenge soon enough,†he spoke with a pore sluggish tone. His words almost seeming forced more than anything else. He finally walked over to Andreya and gripped her by her hair, and pulled her to her feet causing her to cry out. He dragged her over to what looked like a farly deep whole dug into the ground, and at the bottom was what looked like a wooden casket.
It was then that Andreya started to really struggle. She realized what this man was going to do, and she had to get away from him. Somehow gaining the upper hand she had managed to knock him away from her. Though she didn’t get far, as the man was quick to his feet, and with a quick hand gripped her wrist and jerked her back. There was a sickning pop that caused her to scream out as she could feel the bone snap from it’s already set location. Her screaming didn’t last to long, before he struck her hard against the side of the head knocking her unconsious. Dragging her toward the whole in the ground he dropped her into the wooden casket. Picking up a box he dumped the man poisonous scorpions inside. Once he finished he placed the lid ontop of the casket.
Walking toward the cage with his three remaining pets inside he opened it up, and then walked toward the door. Opening it up into what looked like the kitchen portion of the hotel. “Go seek your vengence,†he said as the over grown starving pit bulls make their way out into the hotel. Shutting the door back. He took his shovel in hand, and started shovling the dirt back into the whole. Threw out the hotel Andreya’s screams could be heard as if they were coming from inside the walls. Just as quickly as they came they stopped. It wasn’t to much long before the sound of barking could be heard once more among the halls of the building.

While Louis was starting to look around the room, Thorton started to gather his tools. Tools of war. Of pain. Of death. This guy was f**king with them. It wasnt smart to f**k with a man like Thorton. It was insane to f**k with a man like Thorton. It was a painful homocide preceded by inhuman tourture to f**k with a loved one of Thorton. As crazy as this guy thought he was, he was about to experience a new level of suffering that would end with the sweet reilef of death.
By the time Louis left, Thorton was right behind him, going the opposite way. Light on your feet wasnt bad. Slow and armored like a tank was better, in Thorton's opinion. It was about to come in handy. He had heard the screams, getting louder as he went. He knew he was getting closer, but the ended as abruptly as someone cutting the volume on a radio. Instead, the air was filled with the barking of dogs.
Thorton sighed in anger. More pets. Pets when the master was too much of a coward to come out himself. He pulled the huge steel revolver from its holster and cocked it, a useless gesture for a double action revolver. It had always just been a habit. Plus, it lightened the trigger pull for the first shot. And that was a good thing. Soon after hearing the barking, it got louder and louder. So loud, that it was a given that the dogs were just around the corner. Sure enough, one of the dogs rounded the corner.
The gunshot boomed in the small hallway, spraying blood, turning brain matter into paste, and fragmenting skull like it was glass. The mess sprayed onto the floor and the wall as most of the dogs head dissapeared when the .460 Magnum round entered the side of it's skull. The next dog caught the next round in the ribs, turning most of its innards into outards. The third, slipping in the slick pool of gore, fell to the ground. It was an easy target for what Thorton did next.
He fired a single round, missing anything vital, and blowing the paw off its right front leg. It yelped in pain as it laid on the ground, seemingly screaming out its agony. Thorton walked over to it and gave it a sharp kick in the ribs with his good leg. "Get!" He yelled. "Go on home!" He yelled again. The dog got up and started limping away, trying to get away from the cruel human who had hurt it.
Thorton smiled a quick smirk as he started to follow the dog back home. What the dog was feeling was going to be a hangnail compared to what its master would be feeling soon.

As Thorton followed the dog down the hallway back to where it had come from it seemed that the mut was leading him to a dead end. As the dog moved up to the wall it nudged it with it's head and stood up on it's back paws as it tried to stratch at the door with it's good paw. He was trying his best to find his way back into the safty of his cage, but where he had come from previously wouldn't open for him. As Thorton stood there staring at the wall that the dog so despretlly tried to get into. He could hear the cracking and splintering of wood.
It was almost as if the wood below his feet had been to old for a larger man to stand on for a long period of time. As the wood cracked and broke around him. When he went to move it was to late, and the floor around him gave way and he fell down into what looked like a basement. Almost like a basement. In the corner was a small chemistry table, around the room was several bones, a large water tank to his left, and a group of cages to his right. A tabel with what looked to be a body that was maybe no older than 17 and was maybe three weeks past expired. Then in the center of the room was a small mound. An like clock work the muffled sound of Andreya's screaming could be heard from it. The beedy eyed man though was no where to be found. Most likely trying to keep tabs on what his dogs couldn't find. An once more Andreya's screaming stopped though not as abruptly, but seeming more painfully.
