Andreya smiled as she stroked the kitten lightly. "Thank you," she said as she looked up at Joe. She scratched her ear again before looking at Thorton. "Thank you too. I would give you a hug, but for some reason it's hurting to move," she said as she finally laid down on the bed. "My body is getting stiff, and my head hurts a lot," she said as she looked up at him. It was then that there was a small tap on the door. The doctor stepped in with Andreya's chart in hand. He looked at Andreya and smiled lightly.
"Hold on," she said as he stepped out of the room. Quickly returning with a bag. He walked over to her bed and sat it down on the table. Pulling out a syringe and injecting it into one of the IV lines. "That should help with your head. It wont be to much longer. I say after a couple hours of sleep, and then you'll be good to get on the plain. If you don't sleep. The wait at least four hours before getting on a plain. We want this medication to take affect. He sat four more syringes on the side table. "Take one every hour. Then you'll be good to go. As for now your still free to roam if you feel like it."
"My body hurts to move," she said lightly as she looked up at the Doctor without even moving since entered.
"Yeah it will. Your body is stiffening up from the cuts and stitches. You'll be good if you get up and move around, but the stiffness will be there for a couple of days. Make sure you change your dressing each day at least twice a day. Well if you need anything just let me or one of the staff know," he said as he nodded to Marvin, and then to Joe. With that he left the room.
Andreya looked up at Marvin with a tired smile. "Is it possible to get a private plain home," she said lightly. Looking down at the ground she let out a heavy sigh. "I don't want to be around a group of people. I . . . I just . . . I don't know . . ." she trailed off.

"I'll see what I can do." He said, not moving from his chair. He wasnt sure how it would work out. Best he could do was find an Osprey going back to base, pull rank and hitch a ride home that way. Probably be for the best anyway. If there was a secure way to travel, it was one of those things. Able to hold its own against a tank squad on the ground or an F-16 in the air. He doubted many small civilian planes were going to be taking off any time soon.
"Try and get some sleep. I'm sure Shocks will stay here with you." He told her, finishing off his burger and sticking the wrapper in his pocket. He'd stay with her when she fell asleep, then go and link up with the pilots, see who was going where.

Andreya smiled as she looked down at the small kitten. She then looked up at Joe and Thorton. "Thank you," she said lightly. She shifted slightly flinching as she did. She looked at the cup still full of soup and sighed. It would be cold when she woke up, but maybe she would finish it off then. She rested her head on the pillow, and stroked the small kitten. Smiling lightly as she nuzzled her head into the pillow. She let out a long yawn, before closing her eyes. It didn't take her to much longer before she had completly passed out on the cot. The small kitten letting out a 'mew' before stretching. It walked around for a little bit, before crawling up on the pillow. It nudged Andreya in the cheek slightly before moving to the top of the bed and curling up. Shocks let out a big yawn, and quickly fell asleep as well.

All the people running back and fourth, everyone has something to do, somewhere important to go. Every story is different, the airport was either their ticket to escape or their ticket to rescuing someone important. What if Thorton & Andreya already left for Hawaii? Its not like we marked anything on a calander, they didnt need me anyways. Theyd definitely make it this far, knowing Thorton, nothing would stand in their way. So regardless, I dont have anything to worry about, I never did.
Louis felt a sharp pain in his hand, but this time it was getting worse. He flinched on the bench, grasping it tightly, and staring above his jacket collar at the blood dripping into the floor. He kept his mind on the pain, at least it wasnt numb to his other senses, but he needed medical attention. The wound opened up, it would be reckless to ignore it for this long. Tilting his head around through his collar, Louis searched for signs of the medical section, he saw it when he entered.
Catching it in his sights, he nearly jumped from the bench, in the instant another sharp pain shot gun his arm. As he moved away from the bench, he felt the blood soaking his jeans, seemed he had lost more then he even noticed. Louis bumped into someone passing by, knocking them to the ground from his forward momentum. He muttered out an appology, but it could barely be heard, he couldnt think about anything cept his.
Fatigue overcame his body, how long had he been sleeping on the bench? Nobody even noticed his condition, the sleeve of his jacket covered the bandages. Louis could sense the people around him getting freaked out, but he could stop and assure them he wasnt infected. All he could do was keep moving toward the entrance, now using the fence to keep his balance. Upon reaching the gate, a security officer grabbing him by the shoulder, holding him up. "Im not..."
I could feel them taking inside, my eyes are too blurry to see anything around me very clearly. Really shouldve had Joey take a look at it back in Arklay, but there was just too much going on, I couldnt let it bother me. I had to protect Rey, I couldnt let Joey down, not after all I put him through.
"Im not infected..."

Thorton didnt turn to look at the source of the noise outside, but hearing it was enough. He tossed the paper on the bedisde table and drew his Glock 31, moving to the door and looking out. He saw a man being restrained by security, bleeding badly. He looked off, like he was disoriented. He understoond the guards actions. It wasnt uncommon for that kind of behavior to surface when someone was close to turning.
"Stand down." He said. They looked at him. He wasnt wearing his armor with the TFP patches anymore, but they could tell he was military. He grabbed the man by the shoulder, spinning him around and looking at him. He hadnt been sure what he would do. The obvious was to check him for wounds that could have been made by an infected creature. But when he saw who it was, he wasnt sure about it. He had hoped he had seen the last of Louis in the forest, that he had walked away and never bothered them again. He had hoped...
"Medic!" He yelled, watching a group of doctors, nurses, and the soldiers guarding the medical station come out and assisst Louis to the area. The doctors started to work on him, and Thorton stayed back. He didnt even know what he was going to do. There wasnt any running now, no matter how he thought of assissting a contract killer.

((Throwing Joe out of the room so Andreya can get dressed. XD))
Andreya shifted awake as one of the doctors stood over her bed with a chart in his hands. "Good to see you awake. It's late, and you seem to have slept quite a bit," he said as he knelt down and started taking her vitals by hand. Once he was satisfied he removed all the medical equipment. He gave her one more shot, before handing her the clipboard and a pen. "Your free and clear to go, but I do suggest that you rest a bit. This room will be yours until tomorrow evening. In which case we'll have to make room for upcoming patients." He pointed at where she needed to sign the paper work. "Good good, if you have any problems after you get home . . . these are your copys, and this number at the top you can call. Also if you have any problems while your still here feel free to come to us," he said before leaving the room.
She looked at the yellow copy of paper in her hand, before setting it on the counter. She looked around the room, and seen her backpack laying in the corner. She smiled lightly as she realized how much it had been through. Andreya climbed out of the bed, the motion causing Shocks to roll down the pillow. The kitten let out a small yawn before getting comfortable on her back. Smiling a bit she staggered to the curtan door and looked out. Joe and Thorton were no where to be seen. Satisfied she looked over to the cloths that layed on the tray table.
Picking them up she laughed slightly as she held them up to her. "Geez, these may end up falling off me," she laughed a bit. She slipped off her dress and threw it on the bed. She then slipped on the black tank top that was rather loose on her, and then the white long sleeve overshirt that she only buttoned up halfway. She then picked up the badge colored cargo pants and held them up to her. "Most deffinatly will end up falling off me," she laughed again as she slipped them on. She wasn't like most people her age. She had to wear children's cloths, and even after that she had to take them up a bit.
Andreya grabbed the belt and slipped it on, and as she had thought when she pulled it tight enough to work there was no belt loop. She walked over to her backpack, and pulled out the pocket knife that Thorton had given her a long time ago and made her a hole. She then tied the belt slightly and let the rest fall. Andreya put the knife on the belt, and looked threw the rest of her backpack picking out what would be needed. Her inhaler which she pocketed one of them. She second one she hooked up to the chain that she had made for her and slipped it around her neck. The rest of her medication had either been crushed beyond use or lost so she didn't even bother with that. She grabbed the syringe case with the epi pen and stuck it in one of her side pockets. An then finally her small billfold chaing purse she stuck in the same pocket as her epi pens.
She sat down on the ground, and put on the shoes that she was amazed actually fit her. They were more boots, but she liked how they felt around her ankles. Tying the lose strings of her pants around the boots she stood up admiring her new attire. It wasn't the dress she wanted . . . it wasn't even a dress, but it looked nice once she had it on. She finished with taking a rubber band, and putting her hair up. Looking over to Shocks she smiled a bit as she unbuttoned her other pocket on her side leg. "Guess where you get to stay," she said as she slipped the small kitten down into the pocket.
It quickly adjusted itself before poking her head out of the pocket and letting out a 'mew.' Andreya smiled as she walked out of the room. Looking around she tried to think of where Joe and Thorton may have gotten off too, but the low growl in her stomach made her venture else where. "Food first, then we go find them," she said as she looked down at Shocks. Her closths though seeming twice her size were quite comfortable, and rather warm in the cold airport.

Joe had went back to the main terminal earlier to give Andreya and Thornton the room to themselves to get some rest. He spent some time in the airport cafe mulling over a milkshake, wondering if he should spend more time helping out in racoon or move on to other parts of the country to help people. The medical crews seemed to be able to take care of themselves and there were likely other people like Thornton and Andreya that could use help in the larger cities.
After about twenty minutes he caught sight of Andreya queing up for some food at another shop. Joe made his way over to say hello.
"Evening Miss Andreya, good to see you're feeling well enough to walk again."
Another man pushed past the two and joined the line ahead of them. Joe tapped him on his shoulder.
"Excuse me sir? You may have missed my friend here, she was in this line."
The man turned and blew cigarette smoke in Joe's face.
"and this is an airport, I don't believe smoking is allowed in the main area, they move a lot of wounded through here." He remained calm.
"Jeez buddy, are you looking to start some trouble?" The man was getting mildly agitated.
"I'd just like you to apologise, put out the cigarette and join the line from the back like everyone else did." Still calm but now firm
The man lost his temper fast and took a jab at Joe, who sidestepped his fist and stuck his leg out, tripping the man sideways away from him and Andreya. Joe plucked his cigarette from him as he stood and stubbed it out on a bin before disposing of it. The man lunged again as Joe dodged him, gripping a nerve in the back of his neck as he passed. The man slumped face first onto a bench snoring. Joe joined the line again with Andreya.
"Hopefully after a sleep he'll wake in a better mood. Sorry you had to see me get so aggressive."

Andreya looked at the sleeping man before looking up at Joe and grinning. "Can you show me how to do that sometime?" she asked lightly. It was about then that the small black head popped out of her pants pocket. The kitten looked around before sniffing the air. Looking up it let out a small 'mew' and then slipped back down into the pocket. "I guess Shocks is hungry too," she said with a laugh. She looked up at the board of food as she approched the counter.
"These companeys must make a lot of money in places like this, but I guess it's better than dry stored MRE's. . ." she shook her head at the thought. "I remember the first time Thorton made me eat one. I nearly threw up," she laughed slightly. "I don't eat the rice one's anymore because of that. The chili and beef stews are good. I can eat those like there going out of style, but there hard to come by anymore," she pointed out. As she reached the counter she felt her pocket moving.
Looking down at Shocks she smiled as the kitten clawed at her pants. "Hold on I'll get you something too." Andreya reached behind her pulling out her wallet and looking it over. "Can I have two cups of your vegtibal soup, two slices of corn bread . . . A large coke . . ." She looked back at Joe and smiled. "Don't tell Thorton. I'm not really suppose to drink softdrinks, but I've had a couple since I've been here and I'm craving one now."
She smiled and looked back at the woman behind the counter. "Two of your double cheese burgers, a bottle of water, and a cup of chili." The woman nodded and as someone prepared the food she payed for it. Andreya took her drinks, and stepped aside with Joe. She looked around the airport trying to see if Thorton. "Hmm I wonder where Thorton is?" she questioned aloud. "Thank you," she said to the woman as she took her bags. She walked over to a clear table and sat down.
"I got two cheeseburgers, do you want one?" she asked as she sat the bag down. She pulled Shocks from her pocket and sat the kitten on the table. She opened the bottle of water, and pored some of the water into the cap and sat it on the table. She smiled lightly as she started lapping up the water. Andreya then sat a couple of napkens on the table, and pulled out the meat from the vegtable soup and sat it down for the kitten to eat. She then started to eat away at the chili that she had.
"These cloths are like double my size," she said with a laugh. Looking at Joe she smiled lightly. "What are you planning on doing? Are you going to stay here and help out, or do you want to come with us to Hawaii. You could probably use a break from all this hero buisness for a bit," she said with a grin. "Lord knows you and Thorton had to save my butt quite a bit." She looked down at the table with a heavy sigh. "Thank you for everything you've done," she said lightly.

"As soon as refuel and maintenance are done?" Thorton asked for clarity.
"Yes sir. They just started so it should be about three hours." The Staff Sergeant said, pointing out to his aircraft. The V-22 sat on one of the runways with fuel hoses attached and a team of engineers checking its engines and other systems. "I'm empty, going back for new assighnment." The man said.
"Thank you, Staff Sergeant. Got no idea how much of a favor this is." Thorton said, holding out his hand for a shake instead of a salute.
"Not a problem sir. We're all on the same team." The man said, returning the handshake.
"See you in three." Thorton said, walking out of the room and to the terminal. He stopped by the medical center to see if Andreya was still there, but he saw her bed empty. The clothes that had been laid out for her were gone, and the dress she had been wearing was on the table. He looked at the pile of charts at the entrance, seeing hers and her signature on the release form.
He walked back out into the terminal and scanned the crowd, looking around for her or Joe. He'd left them there some time ago to dig up a pilot that could give them a ride, and he'd lucked out. Found seemingly the only pilot that didnt already have something he needed to do or didnt have a full load.
He finally found them at the food court, knowing that Andreya was going to be hungry. Nothing but a cup of soup for three or so days, he'd have been worried if she wasnt hungry. He took a seat at the table with them, stripped of all of his gear save for his pistol belt. It always felt liberating, getting out of that suit. His unit had been trained, in the desert and the snow, to function at peak levels in it. When he was out of it, it felt like he could move faster, more fluidly. Not to mention the lower weight.
He smirked when he saw the spread in front of Andreya and said "Glad to see your feeling better."

"I suppose I could train you and Thornton some time in the basics, though the full mastery takes years, even I'm not that good compared to other members of the temples. and you'll have to promise me that it's only for self defense, it would be hard explaining to your father if you used it to rob a store."
Joe unwrapped the burger when offered, thanking Andreya. He took a quick bite then chewed it slowly, first fast food meal, it was pretty okay.
"I wasn't too sure what I intended to do next, I suppose I could visit some of the brothers in Hawaii, I believe Master Izo is still living there, he sends our temple in hong kong many postcards......usually boasting about his accomplishments at the gambling establishments."
When Thornton turned up Joe shuffled his chair to the side to give him more room. "Mr Thornton, I trust things are going well."

Andreya grinned when she looked up at Thorton. "Not all of it is for me," she said passing a sandwich and soup toward Thorton. "I got stuff for you, Joe, and Shocks," she said pointing at the kitten who seemed to be having issues with the clumps of meat. Andreya smiled as she reached over breaking the meat up into smaller pieces. She filled the cap full of water again, and then went back to eating. "I didn't get a sandwich. I don't think solids would go to well with me," she said as she looked around the airport. "I have everything I could salvage from my backpack. Most of my medication was either crushed or lost. I did get my last two inhalers from it though. I'm just going to leave it and the dress. There both pretty much trashed anywise," she pointed out.
She smiled as she looked at Thorton. "Besides it doesn't matter now. Were going home soon," she said with a laugh. "I can't wait. I miss my bed." She sighed a bit as she closed her eyes and just sat there for a moment. When she opened them again she sighed again. "I wanted to see Louis before we left. He said he would meet us here, but I guess he couldn't make it." Shaking her head she looked at Joe. "That would be cool if you could teach me that, and yes it would only be used for self defense. I'd have an asthma attack before I got out of the store if I tried to rob one. Stress and adrenalin tends to do that to a person."
------------------------------------------------
As Louis was wheeled into a recovery room a man in a shaggy gray suit followed. He carried a duffel bag with him, and sat it down on the floor. Waiting for the doctors to leave he looked at Louis. This was the man that could get closer to the girl than any of his own men. He leaned up against the wall and waited for Louis to wake up. When Louis finally started to come around he looked around to make sure no one was listening in. Pushing off the wall he stepped up to the bed and dropped the bag on it. "Mr. Johnson," he said with a formal tone. "My name isn't of importance so don't bother asking. I have a job for you if your willing to take it. There is a young woman that none of my men can get close enough to, and killing her has become quite a hassle to us. In our observation of the people around her. You are the only one who has been able to get the closest. I am willing to offer you two million dollars straight off the bat for taking the job, and then another seven million for completing the task."
He opened the duffel bag a bit pulling out a file, and showing a bit of the money inside before zipping it back up. "If you cannot accept cash we are willing to transfer the money to your account," he pointed out as he handed Louis the file. Upon him opening it there was a picture of Andreya along with a brief history. "The phone number on which you can contact us if there is any problem that arises is located on the front of the file. So Mr Johnson, time is short, and I must know . . . do you accept?"

Louis opened his eyes upon hearing the voice speaking. Turning his head toward the man, he tried to make out a face, but found he didnt really know who he was expecting to see. While the man talked, Louis' eyes closed again, just listening to his words. Could he really be offering this? Obviously whoever was behind this had known about Louis' profession, but could he really go back on them like this? However, if Louis didnt agree to this, that would make him on their own list of people to take out. Being he was in pretty bad condition, this wouldnt work out too well. So there was realy only one thing he could do, and wether he meant it or not, history will tell the story...
~~~
Joey: So this is the path youve chosen, huh?
Louis: Dont make me repeat myself...
Joey: Well whatever you decide, dont forget where you came from.
Louis: Lets hope itll never come to that
~~~
Amanda: Louis, I...
Louis: Just dont worry about, okay?
Amanda: But...
Louis: ...Yeah?
Amanda: What if you ever had to kill me?
Louis: You would have to have done something to make me...
Amanda: And I would accept that.
Louis: ...
~~~
Louis opened his eyes, and looked at the man. "I accept."
The man nodded and turned to leave. He paused for a moment at the door. "Mr Johnson . . . threatening you would probably be out of the question," he said lightly. Turning back to look at him. The money laying on his bed. "I will put it this way. Her death would be welcomed by your own hands, but if you do not fulfill your deal . . ." He paused for a moment and opened the shade covering the door. "Remember that we have all the time in the world, but that girl does not. An when we get our own hands on her. Her death will surly be slow and painful. An I don't believe that you want that on your hands." With that he left the room, and disappeared as he walked into the crowd of people.
Louis eyed the man with a straight face as he left the room, and then looked at the duffel bag on the on the table beside him next to his jacket. He took this time to look at himself, his wounds, he had been treated by a professional now. He was also thankful to wake up regardless, nobody put a bullet in his head under suspicion that he was infected. Nobody was inside the area at the time, the doctor was busy with other people adjacent to his stall, so Louis jumped up from the bed and onto the floor. His body was a bit numb from being treated by the medication, but it was going away as he moved.
Grabbing his jacked from the table, Louis slipped it on, and then grabbed the bag with his shoulder around the strap. Looking at his hand, he flexed the muscles, feeling a sting, but no more bleeding. Before wasting too much time, he searched the room for an exit, and then walked off quickly out of the medical center before the doctor returned. That guy who made him the offer, he must've knows that Andreya, and most likely Thorton, were going to be coming across Louis himself soon enough, so this game him the idea that they were in fact in this airport.
Feeling for hid SMG tucked under his coat, he zipped it up, but untucked his holster so he could pull out his sidearm quickly. He really didn't have very much ammo, but he wasn't looking to be doing that much more shooting with the time he had left. So the contents of his jacket weren't holding him down any. The only thing he really paid most attention to was the bag with 2000k inside, thankfully whoever set this up was would transfer the rest of the money to his account. Wait, his account? These guys knew he had an account? Something wasn't right here, but realistically, what could be right about this?
Louis walked through the crowds of people, searching from the terminal to Hawaii. Chances are they haven't gotten on the plane yet, as it wasn't ready for passengers for another hour. So they would have to be nearby, then, at least. Which made him think of something else, how would these guys know if Louis had actually done the job or not? There must be men around the airport, and in a place like this, they would be impossible to spot unless you knew exactly what you were looking for. Louis roamed airport terminal area for Thorton and Andreya, but his subconscious was also on the lookout for anyone suspicious.
"Whats all this talk about robbing stores?" He said, looking over at her as he unwrapped his sandwhich. He took a bite and looked at the two of them before swallowing and speaking.
"I found us a ride home. It leaves in three hours." He said. "Your welcome to hitch a ride if your going that way." He said to Joe. He'd been more help than Thorton could have ever expected, and if he could do him the small favor of shipping him accross an ocean, it wouldnt be half of what he truly owed him.
"If you want to do anything, we'll need to get it done quick. He wont be able to wait for us if we're late." He told them, mainly Andreya. Joe didnt seem like the kind who would go around and looky loo, but Andreya always liked to hang around and explore.
