Not to be the sour puss of the group here but, I dislike all the Resident Evil movies....Well the first one was good due to the fact it was how Resident Evil was supposed to be. In the second one...It turned me off the whole idea of Alice. She went toe to toe with Nemesis not in a gun fight but, a fist fight......Then the third movie it pretty much introduced Super Hero Alice who can do anything she puts her mind to. Hell she pretty much turned into Neo from the Matrix minus the flying on her own part. And now for Afterlife.....It wasn't too bad....I mean she lost her powers so she was back to being well...Human for the most part. Wesker was done justice by his appearance...However his fight scene was rather disappointing. All you had to do was watch the cutscenes from when he fought Jill and Chris and the Sheva and Chris ones and you will see the same thing in the movie. (End hating rant.)
Overall Im not too big of a fan of the Resident Evil Movie series...I guess you can blame me expecting things to be just like the games. It kinda throws the series off considering I read something about them having killed Leon off in the second movie and yada.....But, ehh yeah im done now lol.

Paul Andwerson did screw the movoie up, but it was still good until they screwed it up with the second then the third and the fourth (that resdient evil 2 and 3 were on my birthday the fourth i seen in 3D, Amazing i must say for my 20th birthday) but you also have to realized, if they would made the movie the same way as the game, it be considered playdurism. they did the same thing with house of the dead movie in the game it started with a building movie started with an island. I suppose its to keep things simple.

Plagiarism.
And it isn't related to that. Anderson received the rights to create the Resident Evil movie however he felt appropriate. Effectively it could have been exactly like the video games. Plagiarism is when you don't have the rights to use IP (Intellectual Property); an example being if Anderson didn't have the rights, he wouldn't have been able to use the title 'Resident Evil', the name 'Umbrella', or the name of any of the characters or places from the Resident Evil universe.
But alas, somehow, he received the rights.
