Bad news linked to this. That's not demoralizing that there are people out there who enjoy the movies. Anderson has put forth that Afterlife, or the fourth film for those unbeknownst of the film franchise, is essentially only the beginning... Of a new trilogy... I take it that the interpretation of this 4th itteration will be a little off from the past three flicks then, and will essentially leave a billion and one doors open for more Resident Evil garbage in the future (Just because Anderson can). Oh yeah, and Afterlife is in 3D. F*ck knows why. |

Ok....a NEW TRILOGY!?!? That...is sad. Cmon Capcom, pull the plug on this guy, or atleast reign him in and stop making crappy films. And why in the heck would you make it in 3D? For movies like Up, its understandable, but Resident Evil? Not commenting any further.

I don't like 3D full stop, even in movies like Up. The only logical reason I can fathom as to why it's there is just so people can say "I saw it in 3D". Now if it's actually ground breaking then it's a different story, as I haven't heard of a movie without childish animation use 3D; 'what' will pop out assides from Sienna Guillory's ass is beyond me.
Too bad I don't plan on watching it in cinemas; or at all, if I can avoid it.

Can't wait!  I loved the alternate reality of the films, and I'm probably going to enjoy these new films. But I swear to god, if he puts Leon in a role, I'm going to choke a b*tch. |

Or Ada or Chris, in fact I'd rather they didn't use any of the main characters out of the games and have new characters like they did with outbreak, then they probably wouldn't have as much critiscm apart from the fact that Wesker looks like a damn noob in Extinction.

Have to agree to an extent, I didnt appreciate how Wesker looked in Extincion (Well, I didnt like ANY of the live action movies, but that seems to be a common feel here) But Axel has a point, I think I would of hated it a bit less if they hadnt screwed with the set characters, and came up with a new set, maybe even followed up on Outbreak (Always been hazy how that worked out)

Woot Moar n00b Resident Evil with a DMC style. Lol... Alice needs to just enter the Matrix and fight Neo...
Watch him add Wesker.... all jack'd up on Mountain Dew or something. It will be superhuman clones versus something...
Gawd... a Trilogy? I loved the movies but I think he is making too much of a good thing... Jurrasic Park was pwn... I could stand the 2nd one... then I was lost...

I'm glad Padardox posted that and rebooted this thread.
I got my GAMEINFORMER Magazine today, and I read that Freddie Krueger will be coming to Theaters Friday, April 30th. Now, RE:Afterlife will release it's trailer along with other trailers for the first time before Nightmare on Elmstreet. (You know, opening trailers in theaters).
So, expect to see a trailer leaked somewhere online before April 20th.
