This room provides the only communication to the outside world, and this area is also the Security room. Several security personnel watch the entire facility from monitors that line the room. They can see what happens in every part of the facility including the outside surrounding areas up to 1000 ft away from Hades. This room also supplies a check point right next to the elevator for anyone coming into the lab. In the back of this area are two small cells in order to hold any of the visitors or current occupants if they become unruly.

(( Artemis, Joanna, and Rebecca enter ))
Artemis was going crazy with the very minimal talking going on around the room. The soldiers kept to their small click, and she kept with Joanna and Rebecca. She wasn't able to find out anything else about Rebecca's ability, but she also kicked herself for even mentioning it in this place. Finally growing tired of sitting around she stood up to stretch her legs. Making her way over to the computer she brought up the timer, and was surprised to find that they had only ten minutes left. "Alright. We have ten minutes," she called out over her shoulder. She moved back to gather her weapons as everyone else got ready. They stood ready as the door opened, there was nothing but darkness that met them. Artemis turned on her weapons flash light and the sight was surprising. The hallway leading to the communication room was filled with ankle deep icy cold water. Half the hallway past the room had the metal wall dented in so far that it looked to be a tight squeeze past it, and several lighting fixtures hung from the ceiling. "That first door is the communication and security room. Past that is the lobby, and then it branches off to the rest of the facility." Stepping into the icy water she shuffled past the rest of the group toward the communication room. Carefully opening the door she was greated with more darkness. Shining her flash light around she moved over to a set of cabnites against the wall, and pulled out the facility floor plans. "First thing is to get the power back on. Forget the element of surprise, because were at a disatvandage in the darkness." She looked up at Joanna and Rebecca. "What do you two say?"

"getting the lights back on is an option that should be done. remember people, minimal noise output, keep splashes to a minimum." Joanna started moving forward, keeping her feet submerged as she stepped forward, causing ripples, but almost no noise. the rest of the group followed suite, making quiet headway, as they went further into the darkness.
((sorry for the long wait and the short post, things have been full on over here lately.))

Artemis followed close behind Joanna. With the debri in the corridors it made it harder to spread out, and that in turn actually made it a lot more dangerous. She was carefully to allow her light to aim ahead of Joanna in order to not to blind her. Her weapon pointed in the direction her light moved. As they moved closer to the maintainace room. With a little help from the group they were able to open the door. A set of stairs lead down into a flooded room. "That's not good," she said as she stood beside Joanna her light shinning across the flooded stairwell. "The main power system is down there. There is a second one, but we have to cross the facility and hit the ocean to get to it. We wouldn't have to worry about those unites being flooded. They were built to function off the water." She stepped back from the stairwell and looked at Joanna. "So what's the plan?"

"we go down." Joanna took a rebreather\goggles out of one of her pants pockets and put it on her head. A quick glance told her that Wolf was doing the same. Looking back at the squad, "You guys stay here. Pop a few chem lights into the corridors to make it easier to see anything coming." Looking back at Artemis she grinned cheekily, "Fancy a dip with us Artemis?"

Artemis coughed slightly as she backed up from the doorway. She never thought about mentioning it mostly because it had never come up before. She had never even been in a situation that required her swimming before. Of course she had been on ships, but never over board. An then there was the fact that no one had ever taught her how to swim as she was growing up either. "How about I stay up here with the rest of the team to keep watch. You shouldn't need all three of us down there. An if anything goes wrong while down there I could help from this end." Now that she thought about it she knew that if they had went to the ones in the ocean this issue would have come up there.

Joanna's eyes narrowed slightly. Artemis's suggestion was sound, however it felt like there was another reason for her not coming. "That's fine." she said, "But I think nows the time to have a little discussion." She turned to everyone, "does anyone here not know how to swim?" The squad looked at her in confusion. Wolf snorted in amusement, causing them to look at her. "there are obviously going to be more flooded areas, and there are most likely going to be situations were we have to get wet. So its best we know now who can and cant swim." One of the soldiers looked sheepish as he raised his hand. "I swim a bit like a wrench."

Artemis sighed a bit as she shifted her in her stance. She looked around the group, and then let out a sigh of defeat. "Yeah," she said lightly her hand absently scratching the back of her head. "I can't swim." She felt the prying eyes of the others around her and in a way it felt amusing. Many times before she had been on ships against the BSAA and if they would have known this little flaw they could have dealt with her easily back then, but swimming had never be a proplem because it had never came up. Here she was sure it wouldn't have been a problem or ever came up if Joanna wouldn't have said anything, but it seemed that she wanted the truth out and in a way she didn't blame her. Working as a team was hard, because if you didn't know the weakness of the others then it could pose a problem down the line. In a way it was why she liked working alone, but things were different now. She shook her head as she looked at Joanna. "I was never taught how to swim. Not even the basics. In my training facility they focused on surviving each other, and I was never in the opertunity to learn from any family how to swim either," she pointed out. "Though don't worry I'm not scared of water. I can handle it as long as my feet can touch the floor in some shape or form."

"Okay," joanna smiled at Artemis, "now that we know who cant swim we now have a slightly better chance of all of us surviving this little underwater adventure." one of the soldiers snorted, and as the three women looked at them they noticed all of them trying to hold back laughter. Rebecca raised an eyebrow, "something you guys want to share?" the soldier who had snorted looked at artemis, still trying to hold his laughter in. "I was on the BSAA ship you were on last year, the BSAA'S Heart of Courage, I was the last guy you shot before getting on your exfill RHIB." suddenly the squad couldnt keep their laughter in, and gripped their sides in pain, crying in laughter. "If I wasn't such a bad shot on the HMG while you were running away, you wouldn't be here right now." Joanna smiled, laughter in her eyes, "Alright, calm down you guys. we can all swap funny war stories after we ditch this joint." She turned to Artemis and clapped her shoulder, "Thanks for being honest, it makes things easier." she grinned, "Besides, I don't want to lose my new partner so soon." As she turned to the stair well she brought down her rebreather and started down into the darkness, followed by Rebecca.

Artemis sighed as she watched Joanna and Wolfe disappear into the water. Even though it was out she still didn't feel the least bit releaved, and now she was left alone with a group of soldiers. One at which had already reminded her well enough that at one point they were enemies. She shifted on her feet and adjusted her grip on her weapon. The small ripple in the water disappeared as Joanna and Wolfe moved further in the water. She turned and made her way back to the communication room.
"Where are you going?" one of the soldiers asked.
"That water is below freezing. When they come back up we'll need to warm them up. The communication room should have some type of emergency blanket. It was made to be the central post for security." Two more soldiers joined her as they headed back to the room. After some shuffling through the cabnites in the room she managed to find several thermal blankets and heating pads. She set them out on the table and took two blankets and followed the soldiers back out into the hall in order to wait for Joanna and Wolfe to surface again.

Even though both Joanna and Rebecca were wearing arctic thermal wetwear under their layers of clothing, the water was shockingly cold. As they dove further into the generator room, Joanna cracked a chemlight so they could see. As the greenish light illuminated the walls, they saw holes. They were big, easily larger than 2 meters in diameter, in walls of steel at least 2 inches thick. Whats more, it was obvious that the holes were not part of the original structure, seeing as the edges were torn and uneven.
Something, or Somethings, had made them.
After 10 more seconds of diving, they saw the Generator control panel. thankfully, as they got closer to it they saw that it was of the 'push the button' variety instead of needing a key. It took a few seconds for the generator to powerup the lights in the room. As the light turned on Joanna and Wolf started to move back to the group. As she passed one hole however, Joanna noticed what looked like a small light in the darkness beyond. Bringing up a taclight, she saw an antennae that was emittting the light. Behind it was teeth. Lots of teeth. 'Oh F**K Me.' She thought as the teeth started to rush her.
Rebecca was 6 meters below Joanna when something came out of the hole 3 meters away from Joanna. Its front was a mass of large needle-like teeth, with an antennae just infront. The rest of its body reminded her of the body of eels, only huge.
The BOW{what else could it be} slammed into Joanna, pushing her across the room and into the hole opposite the one it came from. The force of the blow had ripped Joanna's rebreather off her head, rebecca quickly grabbed it{Best to keep it} and rushed for the exit.
As soon as she broke the surface of the the water, hands helped pull her out. one of the squad wrapped her in a thermal blanket. after a few seconds, one of them asked. "What Happened?" "After we turned on the Generator a BOW showed up. it slammed into Joanna and dragged her into one of the holes in the walls." She looked at the shocked faces of the squad, and then saw Reaper. She smiled slightly. "She wasn't dead when I saw her, so dont go and mourn for her just yet."

Artemint found herself a bit shocked only to see Wolfe return, and even after waiting a bit with anticipation Joanna never serfaced. She knew what Wole said, but it was hard to believe that while she was holding Joanna's rebreather in her hand. They were under water, and if something dragged her off it was no doubt into the ocean. There was no way that Joanna could survive it. Her hand gripped her weapon tightly as she tried to think of the possiblity of Joanna survivng something like that, but it was easier said than done. She sighed a bit as she turned to look down the hall back to the communication room. Cursing herself for not being able to swim when she could have been down there able to help them. Joanna was the only person in the group that she had felt the least bit comfortable with, and now she was left with soldiers that she felt were only held at bay because of Joanna. Moving down the hallway back toward the communicaiton room.
"With the power back on we should have access to the camra's to the facility." Joanna was gone, and they still had a mission to finish. She was left in an awkward possision that was going to force her to watch her back even with the people she worked with. It was starting to feel like she was working with Umbrella all over again. This was going to be a long and depressing mission, and she was going to make sure that Kyle paid for what he had done. He was going to pay for making them come down here, and for losing Joanna.
Shaking her head as she entered into the room, and made her way over to the computer consel. Flipping on the computer sparks flickered in the counsel, but it turned on. It seemed that the water wasn't to high to affect the electronics. As the screen powered on only a select few camera's were working. Sighing a bit she looked through the camera's to try and find Kyle, but he wasn't on any of the working camera's. "I think he may be in one of the rooms with the non fuctional cameras, and that's still a lot of ground to cover." She turned around to look at Wolfe. "So how do you want to proceed with this now?"

Wolf moved to one of the consoles, "There's a better way to find kyle than searching this entire complex. we rewind the tapes and follow either kyle or the cameras being taken out." stopping the live feed, she hit the rewind and after a couple of minutes, the screens started coming back to life. a little while longer and all the screens were static free, and Wolf hit the play button. what followed was quick, everyone followed the progress of the dying screens and eventually, Wolf hit the pause button. "The bastard's in the moon pools room."
"Well lets go get him then." one of the soldiers exclaimed, turning to the door. as everyone started making their way to the door, Wolf indicated to Artemis to stay back. "Listen, just because Joanna isnt here right now doesnt meen that you should start getting paranoid, these guys might dislike you for your past actions but they'll let you show them that you have truly switched sides before passing judgement."

Artemint looked at Wolfe for a moment before nodding, but some how it didn't feel comforting coming from her. Still she was right, but she was still going to watch her back just incase. She followed the team out out of the communication room and down the hall. The lobby would come first, and then from there they would hit the labs. The moonpool wasn't far beyond the labs but they didn't know if they would have to back track at the moment or not. She stopped as the team stopped at the end of the hallway one waited against the door before pushing it open into a large room that surprisingly wasn't covered in water. The ceiling looked like it was caving in, but the step up into the room told her that the elevation difference was why the water from the hall hadn't leaked into here yet. Moving into the room it felt a bit nice to get out of the freezing angle deep water. In the lobby Umbrella wasn't shy in letting people know they owned the place. She sighed a bit as she walked over to the recepsionist desk. Leaning over it she was quite surprised to find a body, and not bones or a decaying body. She walked around the desk and knelt down next to the man covered in black combat gear. "Wolfe," she called out as she examined the body a bit closer and found fresh wounds on him. "Something tells me either Kyle brought friends with him, or Umbrella want's Kyle dead just as much," she pointed out as she stood up. "My question is why didn't they bother turning on the power when they arrived, and how far are they into the facility?" She looked back at Wolfe. "What do you think?"

As Wolf knelt beside the dead Umbrella soldier she started sniffing. "The body hasn't been dead for very long, I estimate between 2 and 3 hours." she looked around, noticing blood trails leading from the passage that would take them to the moon pools. "Based on the blood trail, and the body's position,", the body was sitting up, its back to the desk, "I'd say the guy dragged himself here before bleeding out." Wolf started patting the body down, looking for anything that could give more information. she soon hit pay-dirt, a tac-pad and a hard-drive linked to a helmet-mounted camera, the helmet was laying on his lap. Taking out one of Joanna's USB's (like the one she used in Washington DC), she first plugged it into the tac-pad, after a few seconds the green LED on the USB turned green, indicating that all the tac-pad's data, and any data on its servers, had been taken. Holding down a button on the USB she then inserted it into her own tac-pad, where a password authorization screen popped up. After inputting the 18 digit password, all the data in the USB then became a file in her tac-pad and, through its network with the rest of the Groups tac-pads, including one given to Artemis, their's as well. as the others started looking through the newly stolen data, Wolf inserted the USB into the camera's linked hard-drive. a few seconds later, the green light came on and Wolf went to work with the new data, soon pulling up the file. it had several video files, including what looked like a briefing, the Umbrella teams insertion and subsequent venture into the facility, and what might be the soldiers last moments. she pressed play on the last video file.
As the file started to play, they could all hear the laboured breathing of the now dead man as he started to record. the screen jostled for a bit before settling on the soldiers face. "My name, is Joseph Townsend. I was a member of an Umbrella USS task force who's mission was to Eliminate Kyle Heller. We infiltrated the facility via submersibles through the Docking Port, everything was going smoothly until we found the Bastard in the moon pool room. We had 4 squads, and we threw everything we had at him. it didn't work. Bullets bounced off him, several of us died from bouncers. the best we did was when Hendricks cut him with his machete before he was torn into pieces. I locked the door behind me. He's trapped in the Moon pool room now, but I don't know if that will hold him. I'm the last one, everyone else died in front of me, and I know I wont last much longer. If anyone see's this, please. tell Rachel ... tell her I'm sorry I was such an a**hole..."
the video stopped, and the room was silent for several seconds.
