After the creature had left, the first thing Louis had done was get to the SUV and make sure Andreya was alright. She was unconcious inside the drivers seat, but didnt appear to be hurt. He shoot his head, leaning up against the vehicle for a little rest. Louis reached insde the SUV, and took his coat off of Andreya. It was getting warmer out, she didnt need to anymore, and he would like the extra space for transfering ammo. Opening the trunk, he pulled out the already manged backseat, reveiling that all his stuff was still in tact. Grabbing all the Magazines left in the rig, he set them in the appropriate pockets inside his coat. He didnt have anymore bottles, so this gave him enough room for everything else to fit nicely. But Louis noticed a note tucked on the seat. Picking it up, he read it in his head... To Louis. Sorry for running, I would only slow you down. Please, forget about everything, and move on. I will to. About who your looking for. Try The Sonata Hotel, Room 108. Rey should be there... Hope we all meet again down the road... Louis smirked, and then pocketed the note in his pants. Once Louis had most of his thing salvaged from the SUV, he packed the rest of the ammo and such into a duffle bag. Walking down the street, he saw a white car parked on the street. To his luck, the doors were unlocked, and the keys lay on the seat. Setting his things into the back, Louis then returned for Andreya and her backpack. Lifting her from the SUV, he carried her and her stuff to the new car. Setting her in the passenger side, he sat down in the drivers side, but didnt start the car yet. Looking over his shoulder, aswell as inside his coat, he made an inventory of things. Inside his coat, his knife, his .45 with four clips, lighter, two glowsticks, two SMG clips, silencer, his cellphone, and his wallet. In the duffle bag, .468 Bolt Action Custom Sniper Rifle, addons for it, Three boxes of bullets, extra SMG and .45 ammo, three fragmintation grenades, and finally, his lockpick set. Starting the car, Louis secured the SMG hanging from his neck, and drove down the street. Looking at the peice of paper, he read the address back to himself. This was a place he had never heard of before, but it seemed causual enough for him. It would probably be night time before they got to the hotel, but maybe it would be a good time to take a breather aswell. Louis headed in the direction where he only guess this place was. Maybe Amanda was going there, and if that was the case, it couldnt be too far away... [Louis & Andreya now at the Sonata Hotel, Uptown]

Wraith limped towards the main building, lights were on, but doors were locked. He started to listen, but other than a hungry moan of the couple zombies from across the street it was dead silent. Wraith chuckled at his grave humour. He shurgged and turned back maybe somewhere else there will be place where some survivors were. "Heh how is it that my main directive was written with master program?" Asked noone and put two walking corpses out of their misery with well placed bullets.
He fund a working van and checked the fuel tank, it was only halfway full. Wraith pryied ignition mechanism open and connected to wires, which was followed by car's engine roaring to life.

Joey had gone the whole day without his father, they separated so that he could take care of a group of survivors they ran into. The uptown streets were pretty harsh and heavily populated with the undead, but without father around, he had the advantage to avoid them on foot fairly easily. Not firing any rounds would save his low supply, and keep himself behind the action as well. Making his way into a nearby house, Joey trekked around the home with his knife in front of him, scanning the area for any infected, or survivors, before lowering caution.
Interesting as it was, Joey recognized the photographs around the rooms. They were of Lisa and Logan, oddly enough, rarely together in a single frame. It was then he knew exactly which street he was on, and knew who owned this house. An eerie feeling filled inside of him, why was he drawn here? It was obviously just coincidence, but he was ready to believe anything after the passed years. Moving up the stairs to the higher floor, Joey made his way into Lisa's room. The only reason he could tell it was hers was because of the surroundings, just had that feeling. After seeing the open window across the bed, he moved closer, and put his hand on the handle. But before shutting it, he noticed the roof was accessible from here and decided to climb out and get a better view of the streets.
Perching himself on top of the highest point, he could see that this house was one of the tallest on the block. It wasn't the most convenient viewpoint to scout the remaining streets, but it was the best he could see in this part of town. Joey wished he had his father rifle now, he could hit anything in a half a mile radius. But he took the time to draw a mental map of where he should go next, using every known landmark around this half of the city to guide him closer to what he was searching for.

July stopped running away from the zombies one street prior to entering the Starlight Road Residence. A few quick turns from the pharmacy caused some of them to lose track of where she was going and how long she'd been gone. Every so often she would turn her head back to see if a human had followed her, but so far no luck. Either she was too fast for them or they just didn't care about following her. Well, whatever the reason, it didn't matter to her. Nothing was after her and that's all that mattered at the moment.
July wrinkled her nose as she turned into the streets. The smell of blood and decomposition touched her nose. Trash was littered in the streets. Fences were knocked down. Cars were either broken into, crashed, or simply flipped onto the roof or side. A handful of the bodies on the ground seemed to be of those that were not previously bitten by one of the creatures.
The hell happened to this place? She wondered as she looked at everything. It looked more like some riot in a large city went out of hand rather than the dead taking over and she knew the difference between both riots and the dead.
The street used to be absolutely clean and the houses perfect...perfect for looting that was. If this outbreak didn't happen, it would be her turn to move from robbing rich homes to actual suburbs. Now, it looked like lots of places were already broken into. It almost seemed pointless to continue looking around this place, but before she could turn around to leave, something grabbed her arm.
It was one of the dead that patrolled the streets looking for a living meal, a muscular man with blood that seemed to be coming from the stomach. When July tried to remove her hand, she was unsuccessful. The undead man moaned and leaned his face towards her arm to take a good bite, but didn't make it. One quick bullet to the brain from the girl's handgun made sure of that even though some of the blood splattered onto her cheek.
The gunshot and the moans called over two of the man's friends. This wasn't good. One was enough and these two were going to practically corner her if she didn't start running into safety. A house was nearby and the muscular man's grip loosened when he died so July only had to give a weak yank from the grip before running into the house with a person sitting atop the roof. She slammed the door shut behind her and searched around for something that could get her or could catch her eye.

Joey was a little surprised when he heard the gunshot, and quickly scanned the screen around him for the maker. It was a woman, fending off a small group of infected. He would have helped out with a rifle, but he didnt have it on him at the moment. Before even making an attempt to anything, the woman seemed to take care of the issue, and ran for the house he was sitting upon. Their eyes met for a moment before she entered, and Joey slid down onto the balcony, entering through the window to Lisas room.
Running through the hallway, he looked over the railing, seeing the girl down below, checking the place out. Joey quickly but silently moved down the steps, and slid into the living room behind her. Speaking out, trying not to startle her, he explained. "Its just me in here... This side of the street was pretty vacent, I wouldnt expect them to wait outside for very long." Looking out the window with the corner of his eye, Joey saw that there was three, maybe four infected on the streets. But that was it, cakewalk to deal with if they did happen to break down the door. "Names Joey, anyone else know your here?"

residentevil9.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=accepted&action=display&thread=9663July turned around long before he stepped into the living room. She was able to hear him coming from the floor above. She blinked at what he said, trying to get the words through her head. The hell does 'vacant' mean? July wondered as it was the only word he said that she didn't understand. She took it as being empty after listening to the rest of Joey's words. If she was wrong, then it wouldn't much matter. "I'll blow their brains out if they come after me again." the child said confidentally before taking a good look at Joey. Not only was he older than her, but he was actually so much taller than she that she had to turn her head up just to take a good enough look at his face. However, he also seemed to look like the type of person she would be looking for or someone that would have a huge grudge against her if he knew what she was up to. "I don't need to tell no one where I am." she added on sharply. She then looked back at the door she entered. No knocks were coming, not even for somebody trying to get in. The creatures were probably dumber than herself. She then shook it off and headed into the living room, scavenging items she could take with her eyes.

Despite her appearance, which he had quickly judged by mistake, she was a fairly young girl to be wandering along on her own. But then again, he had thought about Rey before he found her, she could handle herself if the opportunity approached her as she spoke in a very tough girl tone, he kind of smiled, not letting her notice as she turned away to search around the house. He had followed her from behind, looking around the place himself, he hadn't had time to explore since he got here.
But it was just as he thought, everything really useful had already been taken when Lisa left, this was her house after all. And whatever Lisa didn't taken, Logan definitely took. The only thing left was food in the kitchen, and some odd and ends around the house. Common household items that would only be useful if you know what you needed them for, makeshift items. Joey didn't like the idea of the younger girl walking around the streets alone, but she probably knew enough about how to survive, just by appearance. "Take whatever you need, don't think anyones coming back for it... Do you need any, uh... Ammunition, or, anything?"
This was very difficult for Joey to word out, offering a little girl something like that. He was used to having Rey around, but she was much older before she was carrying around a gun on her own. But as much as he felt it was dangerous under normal circumstances, this definitely wasn't your average lifestyle anymore. Nor was he about to tell anybody what to do, little girl or full grown woman. She seemed well enough to take care of herself, especially with the braveness of carrying around a gun at her age in the first place.
The only thing that put him in an awkward situation now is the fact that he wouldn't morally be able to let her leave on her own, he would feel like he was losing his faith in being a father, even though this wasn't his own kid. Looking back at her to speak again shortly after asking the first time before she could answer, Joey glanced out the window. "We should keep away from the windows, theirs more out their then just those walking freaks..."

July, though fully aware that she was being followed, didn't say anything to him. Her eyebrow did twitch a bit but if she would say anything to him, ordering him to leave her alone and stop following her, her true intentions would sound suspicious and the man looked like he could pin her to the ground if he was fast enough. He was most definetely more muscular than her.
July walked into bedrooms, the living room, the kitchen, and what looked like some sort of dining room. The only thing of use to her was a small amount of coins she found on a corner of the desks, which she snatched and placed into a pocket before anyone could catch her. She did find what looked like some fancy vase that looked like it could be worth money, but chose to put it back after picking it up. If it broke before she left the city, it would be worthless.
When she was done taking what was useful to her, she began to answer the questions asked. "I don't need nothing. And I already saw the dogs and the things with huge tongues." she said with no emotion in her voice. She said nothing else, but walked towards the back door and looked out a nearby window, despite the advice that she stay away from them, to see if anything was around the back.

As much as Joey would've liked to believe, they weren't safe inside the house. There were no barricades on the doors nor the windows, and those things were onto them. As the girl explored around the whole house, Joey sat down on the steps and looked around at the shelves. Mostly photographs of unfamillier people, and random trinkets that would be of no use to him or anyone else.
As the girl went back into the living room to talk to Joey, he after then watched her walk to the back door and check outside. She had some nerve doing that, but he couldnt stop her. But there was something else grabbing his attention now. A banging at the door, forced him to his feet, and move for the doorway. As he opened it up, an infected lunged inward, only to get thrown to the ground, and a quick heel to the neck to snap its neck. Looking out onto the street, he saw a few more, but he could easily pick them off with his handgun. Aiming carefully, he postponed taking any shots, and yelled to the girl prior. "Run if you want, im staying here. Its completely up to you."
Within that moment, the girl chose to run, get out of the danger zone. Joey didnt blame here, they didnt know eachother, and she seemed to have other business to take care of. He had to wait here, no matter what. He was waiting for something, and wether it would take the rest of the day or the rest of the month, he would wait in this house. She would return, Joey knew she would. Joey ran back up the stairs, and climbed out of the window, balancing along the corner of the roof. Jumping up, he pulled himself onto the highest point, and perched comfourtably once again. The infected were starting to gather, but they wouldnt be able to get to him. As the sun set behind a building in the western part of Raccoon City, it cast a shadow across the street, making him nearly invisible from the ground.

July was gone as soon as the man went onto the roof. There was no need for her to stay here and nothing was in the back yard, so she simply opened the door and headed outside without being seen. She ran through the yard and climbed over the fence with ease. Nobody probably saw her, but she decided that she didn't care if they did. If a person wanted to follow her through the city, she had no problem so long as they didn't get in her way.

Raine continued to lead the way through the streets with Lisa and Logan behind her. She prepared herself to eliminate any threats that they came across. The sun was setting making it difficult for the undead to be easily seen. But with Raine's eyesight... this wasn't a problem. She looked back to Logan and nodded toward a nearby house, which belonged to Lisa ''Thats where we're going... stay close.''
Raine pulled out her gun as she counted about 5 zombies wandering around in front of the house. There was no way to get inside without being seen, so the three of them had to work together and get this done as quickly as possible. Logan and Lisa both pulled out their weapons and Logan pushed Lisa behind him to keep her safe. Raine and Logan would do most of the work so Lisa could open the door for them. The easiest way to do this was to get their attention. Because just running over and shooting wouldn't do much good. Raine licked her lips and winked at Logan, barely giving him a chance to ask a plan, but he knew Raine had one. She held her gun in the air and fired one shot... giving Lisa a chance to run for the house.
Lisa took the chance and ran before the zombies could notice her. Raine waited until Lisa was in the shadows before she took a step closer. She didn't want to fire until they moved closer, she couldn't afford to waste ammo right now. ''Lets do this now... I'm hungry and extremely irritated...''

Logan got Lisa and Raine inside the house, knocking away the nearest zombie with a metal pipe he kept from the hospital. Finally locking the door behind them, he used the metal pipe to jam the doorknob in place, holding it against the floor. Quickly looking back out the window, he knew it was too strong for the infected to break through. Insurence used to rebuild the houses these days made the doors and windows unbreakable by human force, just incase this whole infected ever happened again. Sh(t happenes, and being paranoid is being safe. "Theyre not getting in here, dont worry. Now, lets get something to f*uking eat, damn!"
Not long after everyone had got settled in, Logan began searching for anything that would still be eatable in the house. Most of the food groups were already wiped from existance, milk and bread expired and never to be made again. But there had to be something left. If not, they would have to go looting around the other houses on the block. As Logan looked around the bottem shelves, he heard a phone ring, turning to see that it was Raines.
~~
Joey sat on the rooftop in the darkness, when the scene unfolded below him. He wasnt sure if Raine was on his side or not, so he kept quiet and out of sight, until jumping back inside the house once they all had made their was inside as well. Moving silently to the doorway, Joey pressed his back against the wall, and listened to the others downstairs. As much as he wanted to come out and greet them, he knew it wasnt so safe for himself to do so. If Raine was with them, things would get ugly, complicatedly ugly.
"We have to talk. Second floor, guest bedroom...." Joey spoke in a soft, dull tone. He waited inside the closet for Raine to make the time and meet him upstairs, clicking the cellphone shut and breathing a heavy sigh of anxiety.

Elijha and Marc enter
------------------------------
Elijha walked down the street in silence as she had done so many times before, but this time it was slightly different. There was someone else with her. Never before had she brought anyone home with her. She looked around the street before opening the iron rod fence and allowing Marc to walk up the sidewalk. "This fence circles the whole house. Six feet high. Mom and dad had it built because of the swimming pool in the back. Since I couldn't go swimming in the day they went ahead and built one in the back. City law stated that they had to have a six foot chain link fence, but they put up the iron rod fence because it made it harder for the children in the neighborhood to climb it," she explained as she secured the fence behind her.
She lead him up the side walk to the front door. Unlocked it and stopped for a moment. "You would believe how hard it was to do that," she said pointing to the wood covered windows, and then around the house at all the windows that were covered in wood. "Being a hemophiliac made it hard. I thought I was going to get myself killed doing that. Ended up getting very sick when I was done. Took over a year to do the outside, but only a month to do the inside," she pointed out. She didn't know why she was explaining this to him. He probably didn't care about any of it, but for once she was finding herself happy that she could show off her work to someone.
On the inside she shut the door, and flipped on the lights. "Generator. Don't know why, but dad had two of them. I keep them both full and one is a back up just encase I can't get out," she pointed out. She turned back to the door, and slid down a long board to cover the front of it. "The inside windows were the first I boarded up. It allowed me to move around on the inside of the house without worry. The outside bored . . . well i think I did that because I was mostly bored . . ." she shrugged her shoulders as she moved across the living room. "Gave me something to do." She walked to the kitchen and turned on the light. She sat the bag down on the counter, and started to shuffle through it. "Fridge still works, stove is gas, microwave still works, toilets as well. Showers do too. Don't worry about the water. Dad said something about having the water filtered because of some bacteria that can escape the filtering plants."
Once again she shrugged her shoulders as she started putting everything up in the cabinets. She dropped a can when she picked it up with her right hand. Her mind finally grasping the pain that was coursing through it. She sighed a bit and closed her eyes. Finally picking it up with her left and and putting it up again. "There are beds upstairs. Four rooms. I took claim to my parents room which is at the end of the hall. You can take any of the others. There is a bathroom right around that corner," she said pointing to the living room. One in the upstairs hall, and one in the master bedroom. Generators are downstairs, along with my dad and mom's office. I never been in them mostly because it makes me uncomfortable," she pointed out. Elijha turned to Marc and smiled weakly. "So what would you like to eat?"

Through he was nodding towards what Elijha was saying, Marc was instead intent on studying how the house was set up. What disturbed him was the iron rod fence the most, his eyes taking in the sturdy fencing as his eyes trailed over the boarded up windows, he wasn't privy to what Elijha's parents did, he knew their employers just not how deep they were, the fence disturbed him greatly. As Elijha was going about how hard it was to board up the outside windows Marc was instead delving into what he remembered about her parents and found out he knew very little. For security fences, wooden plank fences were more appealing...even chain link fences served their purpose but these iron rode fences...and 6 feet high... In terms of security it would be the best commercial fence to install, lending the entire property an almost fortress like appeal. It was a fence he would have used prior an outbreak, and that is what disturbed him about it as Elijha ushered him into the house itself.
"Yeah...it seemed like it took a lot of time to set all this up...", his voice oddly distracted which was against his grain, not often did something surprise him but this did...it made him wonder as to what purpose all this served. With that fence out there....it wouldn't be too hard for her to set this all up during the initial outbreak...and with her condition working at night wouldn't have attracted much attention from looters or rioters...the fence itself would deter a lot of people...what were her parents thinking...could it be.. Though such thoughts would be best when he was alone, not to mention it wasn't really part of the job...still it gave him something to do while he figured out what the key was during his stay.
"I-I am ok with food..I am kinda of in shock at seeing all this...", which in truth he was, but it was also to cover his distracted moments before as he stared around at his surroundings, it wasn't overly rich in standards, his own clothes if one paid attention were top of the line for their make...even his sunglasses told a story of how well off he was, "Your parents must have treasured you...", inwardly he knew what this statement would bring up, but it would also drag away any suspicion towards him as Elijha's own emotions would erupt hearing that statement, a bit dirty but a useful trick.
It also gave him a chance to think of how many his own answers, not to mention the possible completion of the this job was since Elijha pointed in what direction her parent's office were kept. "Actually...I was wondering if you had anything like beef stew or something that can be heated up real quick.", smiling, taking note of Elijha's emotional state as he strode over to kitchen counter, turning around to face Elijha as he leaned himself against it.

Elijha stopped packing when she heared Marc mention her parents. She looked down at the counter and sat the can down on the ground. She closed her eyes as she thought about her parents, and that one night. The only happy night she had in all of her years, but in the end that one night was nothing compared to what those many years of lonelyness. She let out a heavy sigh and shook her head. "My parents . . ." she trailed off as she opened up a cabnit and shuffled through the cans. She pulled out one of the cans of beef stew, and opened it up.
"My . . . parents, aren't really parents," she said lightly as she pulled out a pan and set it on the burner. She turned on the stove and put the stew inside the pan. "In all my life . . . in all my years that I lived with them . . . only one day have I ever spent it with them. My sixteenth birthday . . ." she trailed off as she felt the tears in her eyes. She whiped her tears away feeling more take their place. Elijha sniffed again before looking up at the wall. "Best day of . . . of my life . . . the only day my parents acted like parents . . . the last day I would ever see them alive," she trailed off.
She poored the stew into a bowl, and set the pan in the sink filling it with water. She fished out a spoon and fork and set them on the table. She walked to the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water and set it on the table. She stopped for a moment not looking at Marc. "Please make yourself at home. I . . . I'm going to call it an early night," she said as she left the kitchen and him with his food. She made her way up to her room, and as soon as she hit the bed she started to cry.
