Jay listened intently to the man's words and a grin spread across of her face. Holstering her weapon, she brought her hands up, placing them above her head as she stepped into visible sight. She tilted her head and blew a piece of hair out of her face. The light attatched to her belt had shone on the man, a glint of light reflecting from his scop lense.
"I don't blame you for your suspiscions. The way the world is now, there isn't any decent human beings left alive. I would normally have shot you by now, but you're so polite, it's refreshing," she said, laughing softly.
She knew he probably wasn't amused. Clearing her throat, she carefully walked forward. "My weapons are holstered, see?" she stated, turning around slowly to show she was unarmed. She wasn't going to hurt him or attempt to kill him. Not unless he was going to attempt to pull that trigger or take her supplies.
"To be honest," she said slowly. "I'm actually glad to see another living, breathing, intelligent, human being. I've been alone for way too long, I needed some conversation or else I'd go nuts."

Brezhnev and his men moved quickly down the darkened road with their weapons up. Brezhnev stood in the middle with one Spetsnaz in the front and the other in the back, who turned every so often to check their back. Brezhnev was beginning to feel the love of his work once again...it had been forever since he had been in a zone that offered up the opportunity of combat around every corner, near every door. Nothing was truly safe in this city. The men stopped when ahead they spotted people. The soldiers moved behind the cover of a nearby overturned van. Brezhnev's breath came out in a fog as they looked over in the direction of the people.
"Possible target spotted, Comrade General." one of the Spetsnaz said softly. Brezhnev nodded as he began to attempt to think of the proper means to speak to these people. Or shold they even speak? He could just open fire, better safe than sorry...collateral damage is to be expected when the number or look of your targets was unknown....decsions decsions...
The Russian decided it would be best to see what these people were up to before he acted in one manner or another.

Allister relaxed slightly as she spoke kindly and laughed. After taking a good look at her, Allister was content that this girl was not the Tricell agent. He lowered his rifle and stood cautiosuly. Allister walked forwards slowly and then extended his hand.
"I really am very sorry for all of this but I am currently being tracked and have no intention of being captured." Allister lowered his head and muttered the next part to himself. "And I especially don't plan on helping develop another bio weapon." he shook his head, raised it to the girl and smiled slightly. "My name is Allister, Allister Wright. Who might you be?"
As Allister waited for the girl to react he instinctively glanced over her shoulder and tuned his hearing behind him, waiting for any sign of his pursuer.

Jay had returned the smile, grasping his hand and firmly shaking it. She was ready to speak when she heard faint steps and minor clacking of what sounded like metal or possibly buckles. It wasn't long that they'd immediately stopped. She frowned and took a carefully side glance but only saw a white van and some trashbags near. She wanted to look under the vehicle but that'd be way too conspicuous.
"I'm Jeanette O'Connell, you can call me Jay. Listen, I think your stalker is close by. But I think there's more than one, maybe you should start tailing it to the end of the alley. That takes you to Varner Street. I'll come along if you'd like," she said quietly. She wasn't sure if the stalkers only wanted the man, but she wasn't about to take the chance in finding out.

Being followed, eh, Brezhnev thought to himself, as a thin smile came across his face. He looked at his soldiers and nodded. The men returned the nodd as they readied their weapons. He raised his hand and extended five fingers. He then started to drop them.
Five....
Four....
three...
two....
one...
The soldiers rose from their positions, weapons aimed at the group.
"Death to Umbrella and their allies!" shouted one of the Spetsnaz in Russian. The three men had their weapons trained on the people. General Brezhnev kept his weapon trained on the man as he and his men stood their ground.
"Are you now or have you at ever at any time been under the employ of Umbrella Incorporated!" he demanded of them as his men kept their weapons aimed. Depending on the answer he got would determine his next course of action.

Jay groaned and spun around on her heels, whipping her pistol out in mid-spin. She aimed the barrel directly at the leader, her eyes narrowing. "I'm sick of everyone asking me that. No, I've never worked under those dips***s before and I don't plan on it anytime soon. For obvious reasons of course. Now would you kindly lower your weapons before you hurt someone?" she asked.
She was pretty sure they were gonna blast her to hell, but she'd be damned if she didn't go down without a fight. Or atleast a bullet in one of their Godforsaken skulls. What was it with everyone and Umbrella lately? What's done is done, not like killing anyone of em was gonna make the world sunshine and rainbows again.
"We don't want any trouble. We're just trying not to get killed by a crazy person who's mistaken my friend here for someone he's not. Look at him! He can't even spell his name right! Why would Umbrella want his ass for?" she said, obviously lying seeing as how she doesn't know anything about the man. He seemed like a good guy so she wanted to help out incase he did do something shady before.

Elizabeth received some new orders, she was to report back to evacuation.
"Lepidus!Report back to Evacuation Point. Your orders have changed. Orders will be told once you're in a safe position."
Elizabeth went back downstairs, onto the street, into the sewer and went to her Evacuation Point...
[Elizabeth has left Starlight Road Residence.]

Brezhnev grunted, but did not lower his weapons, nor did his men.
"Maybe you are not....but what of him?" he asked, keeping his weapon trained on the male. "Vengence is owed....blood must be repaid for what has been done to our comrades."
The Russians stood in silence as their commander spoke. They, like him, had seen the faces of those who had died....and had risen again. They had aided in the clean up. The General's operation was a personal one, but in this situation, it was understandable.
"Well?" Brezhnev asked the man, his lone eye filled with the combined hatred of Umbrella and eveything that it represnted, captialism without borders or control. "Are you in any way affiliated with the murdering dogs that broke my Motherland?"

Allister inhaled deeply and sighed. This was just what he needed. Working for Umbrella had earned him a lot of negative responses over he years. No one seemed to understand that he was on their side. Had he known umbrella's involvement in the disasters he would have never joined them. He had just been a scientist looking for a job. Allister slung his rifle on his back as a sign of good faith. He stared directly at the leader of the group and spoke politely.
"Sir, as a former army ranger, I will not disrespect you by lieing. Yes, I am a former member of Umbrella, but my involvement in the company was solely for the benefit of the people. They took my research and misused it. I didn't want any of this. If I had known what the world would come to in part by what I have done in my life, I would have placed a bullet in my own skull. However, what's done is done, and now I'm living in retribution. Currently I'm working on developing a cure for this madness, all of these viruses and mutations. I am trying to do good to make up for all the pain I contributed to." Alliser paused and ran his hand throuh his hair. "Jay it's ok, please lower your weapon. These men have every right to hate me. Sometimes I even hate myself, but hate is what brought this upon all of us. Right now we should be working on resolving the crisis, not shooting everyone who has ever made a mistake in their life."
Allister closed his eyes and lowered his head. This girl, Jay, had defended him without truly knowing who he was. What would she say now that she knew the truth. Allister had made few companions in this apocalyptic world for the same reason he was now standing at gun point. He shook his head. There was no going back now. What was done was done, he couldn't take that back, only try to help correct the problem. He hoped the soldiers standing before them now could look past their hate and see that. Allister raised his head, waiting for the next move in his hellish game of chess to be played out.

Jay usually would've kept her aim fixed on her opponents, but since she figured Allister was comfortable enough to lower his guard, she sighed and kept her weapon in her hand but lowered it to her side. She stood inbetween both men, crossing her arms and glaring over at the Russians.
So he did work for Umbrella at one point. So what? Plenty of people had probably worked for them oblivious to their intentions. Even then, she wasn't going to judge him, he hadn't really murdered anyone therefore he wasn't on her bad side. She awaited a response that hadn't come yet.
"So he was a former scientist. It doesn't matter, his intentions were apparently good, shouldn't that be enough for you? He wasn't solely responsible for what happened."

Going to Starlight Road was a simple detour for July. The roads that were going towards the Correctional Facility were completely blocked off and she had no real desire to climb over the destruction. Going through the residence took longer, but it was going to get the job done so she didn't much mind. The streets were sending shivers down her spine although she didn't show it.
The farther she got down the street, the more she noticed that there were plenty of cars just lying around, waiting to be used even by a little girl. One smashed up car with a very bloodied and very dead man halfway through the windshield caught her eye. The pocket had something bulging from inside it.
Hey, he's dead, so finder's keepers. July reached into the pocket and pulled out a leather wallet. She snatched the watch around the wrist of the man and shoved both the wallet and the watch in her front pack. She would look through both of them and see if there something of good use in them when she was out of danger from zombies or dogs.
With that task done, she continued walking around the streets, keeping her large eyes peeled for anything of good use that she could take, unknowingly heading towards a new group of people.

Brezhnev kept his weapon up, but his gaze softened. Working on retribution? A cure? Maybe this one could prove useful to him.
"If you really wish to work on a cure....then I have a proposal for you." Brezhnev said, as he began to lower his weapon and signaled for his men to do the same. "My men and I have been working towards the eradication of the creations that your kind created....if you truly feel regret and wish to make amends...then join us. Work with out scientists....with your knowledge and expertise, then maybe we can get closer to our goals..."
Brezhnev knew what he had just said was a filthy lie, but if this man was an Umbrella scientist, one that worked on the development on the virus, then he could help his scientists to further in their development of their own Bio Organic Weapons.
"The choice is yours, my friend." Brezhnev said slowly. "Join our ranks or not...and be an enemy of our cause."

Allister relaxed a bit. The soldiers seemed to accept what he had said. Though they were still a bit hostile, the leader had made him a proposal. Should he join up with another group and receive some assistance in creating a cure? Did he trust them? After all that had happened with Umbrella, Allister was weary of any group that was after his research. Whatever the case, Allister decided he would need more information.
"Well you offer an interesting and tempting proposal." Allister began. "But I have a few questions. First what exactly are your goals? Sure, you said the eradication of the mutated, but what does that entail? How do you plan on going about it? Second, will you offer me resources to aid in my research for a cure? If I were to join you this would need to be beneficial for both of us. We need to make our intentions clear to one another. Otherwise I'm not sure if I can accept your offer. I mean no disrespect, but after Umbrella betrayed me, I'm weary of sharing my research with anyone else. You understand this correct?"
Allister stopped and looked the leader of the men directly in the eyes. He was not intimidated. It was indeed an interesting possibility to receive help in his research, but he had to be careful who he received it from, that was all.

Jay listened to the proposal the leader had contributed to Allister. There was something suspiscious about it. Of course it was suspicious, he was Russian. ((Don't get offended, just, playing in character...)) From her experience Russians shouldn't be trusted with damn near anything. She couldn't make a decision for the man anyways, wasn't her place and she barely knew him. As they exchanged words, Jay had noticed a young girl was nearing the group. She looked like a child from where she stood.
She glanced at the girl hoping she could see her crane her neck and gesture for her to beat it. Realizing the girl probably couldn't see her, she frowned and stared back at the men before her then looked back at the scientist.
"Allister I really think it's best you think this through. You can't just expect to follow these men, do their bidding and not be shot afterwards. They're hostile, they're not a force to be reckoned with."

Brezhnev let a small laugh as he lowered his head. He hoped it looked as if he had forgotten something. The Russian then looked back up at the young man.
"Forgive me..." Brezhnev said with a slight smile. "It has been so long since I have had someone not know who we are or what we represent. My name is General Mikhail Jovanovich Brezhnev, supreme commander of the Union of Patriots. My men and I have a simple goal...the erradication of the foul monsters created by the," Brezhnev censored himself, he was about to say 'capitalist', "evils of Umbrella. We also....on the side, seek to restore our Motherland to it's former glory....bring it back from the darkness of the death that the virus has brought....to begin the healing process if you will."
Brezhnev then motioned to the Spetsnaz troopers at either of his sides.
"These men represent only a small percent of my total man power...they are the elite warriors of Mother Russia....they are Spetsnaz....the best of the best. They are the Sword of the," he censored himself yet again. He was abou to say 'People'. "cause. Together with out scientific minds, we search the globe for any who seek the same goals as us....
"We only want to bring the world back to order.....we only wish to stop the blood shed of our fellow man....and if you join with us....we will offer you the protection and the facilities that we have at our disposal....you will find our supplies of chemical agents and contained...examples of the virus quite extensive."
Brezhnev took a breath as he looked at the young man. He gave his best political smile. Come on, idealist...take the bait. Brezhnev thought as inside he sneered like a shark.
