Yellowstone was established in 1872, and was America’s first national park. When it opened, it was home to a string of animals of all types, and was open to anyone who wanted to come and see them, or to see the huge geysers and hot springs. People around Wyoming seemed to congregate there, and that turned out to be a mistake. Undead have taken over the park, and are running rampant.

(Rio, Elijha, Malcom and Daniel enter)
Rio set down the map as she looked up to the snow covered road ahead of them. One thing she liked about this land was the snow no matter how it looked it was beautiful. She looked over to Malcom as he staired straight ahead of him, and Daniel's car seemed to be driving quite well on the road. Rio picked up the radio again. "Drive for about another twenty miles. Then start looking to your right. You should see an old store called Pikes. You want to turn right at that store. You'll be going off road then. Stay straight. If you have a compus. Stay going North. Here you'll have about another thirty minutes. Then look to your left . . ." She paused for a moment before letting out a heavy breath.
"Why are you giving him all these directions at once?" Elijha asked as she leaned forward.
"My chest has been hurting for the last hour, and I haven't been feeling to well anymore," she pointed out. She looked forward. Picking the radio up again, but with a shaky hand this time. "From there you'll look for . . . for a rock formation that looks like a large cave. Pull into it. It's a small cave that opens up into an unmarked road. It's open on the top, but surrounded on all sides by rock. Follow it all the way to the top of the . . . the mountain. You'll see a frozen over lake. If you take a left that will lead you to the labs. A right will lead you straight to the cabin." Rio dropped the radio as she clutched her chest. She leaned forward as she cried out.
"Malcom pull over," Elijha said as she tried to move inbetween the seats to get to Rio better.

"Gotcha, hold on a sec."
Malcom pulled the van over at the store Rio had mentioned, radioing Daniel to do the same and informing him of the situation. He stepped out and got one of the medical boxes, taking out a bottle of water and some more of the antivirus tablets.
"I've seen this stage before, most of the pain is panic induced, try to keep her calm." He told Elijah as he handed Rio a tablet and a drink. "Stay hydrated too, you'll be feeling feverish soon, it's mostly in your head though."
Malcom took a pen and marked off a roadmap with the landmarks Rio had mentioned, looked like a nice open route to the lab, worst they could expect was a military checkpoint, but they could easily get fast tracked due to medical needs.

Daniel skidded to a halt when he heard the radio come to life, the message from Malcolm come through. He flipped around and pulled next to the van, opening the door and leaving it open as he ran around to the sliding door of the van. He yanked it open and took a look inside, saw Rio laying back as Elijha worked on her.
“What’s wrong?” He asked out of habit, but it looked fairly obvious from where he was standing. She was getting worse, that was clear.
He looked from Elijha to Malcolm, seeing the map Malcolm had in his hands and looked over his shoulder. He had already memorized the map, this time instantly memorizing the marks Malcolm made.
“I’ll drive ahead a mile or so, check out the terrain.” He said. “Call me if you need me, I can be back in less than thirty seconds.” He said, staying at the van for the moment. “When we’re ready to go, give me a thirty second head start.” He said.

Elijha looked up as Daniel made his presence known on the sceen. Malcom had just finished helping her get Rio in the back to where she could fully lay down. There wasn't much she could do but try and ease the pain as much as possible. That didn't seem to do anything with another shot of morphine. She cursed slightly as she looked up at Malcom and then to Daniel as he mentioned going to scout out the terrain. "That would probably be for the best. As it's looking there isn't much we can do, and getting her to a bed so I can set up some IV's will be in our best intrest."
She looked back to Daniel as he disappeared, and then looked down to Rio as she finally seemed to calm down a bit. "Damn. One more shot and I would have put her into a coma. I'm glad she's settled down a bit." She reached down and ran her hand over Rio's forhead. "She's burning up. A lot of this may be from her fear, but still a lot . . ." She was caught off guard as Rio shot up.
Fear ran through her that she turned right under their own gaze, but as she wrapped her arms around Malcom she sighed a bit. Rio wrapped her arms around Malcom and started crying as she gripped him tightly. As Elijha tried to pull her away she shook her head as she continued to hold onto Malcom. Elijha looked up at him lost as what to do.

"Stay safe dude. Watch out for Yogi." Malcom told Daniel, joking with a serious face failing to lighten the mood.
He got back to helping Elijah check over Rio, seemed a lot of it wasn't in her head as he'd seen previously. Probably a worse strain of the virus.
"I don't know if the IV can wait for a bed, I could call Daniel and look for a steady route and we can set one up now."
Malcom flinched slightly as Rio shot up and grabbed a hold of him, calming himself when she started crying, he patted her on the shoulder encouraging her to let it out and take as long as she needed.
"Take your time kid, nothing is going to happen on my watch. Elijah, you mind calling Danny and asking about that flat route to the lab?"

Daniel couldn’t help but smirk when Malcolm told him to watch out for Yogi bear. He almost said something back, but stopped at the last moment.
He just got in his car and started it up, putting it in gear and pulling forward. He went along the path and into the mouth of the cave Rio had mentioned, pleased to find that it seemed to have been fitted for cars to go through. That or the bottom had been worked smooth enough for them to go through. Either way, it looked like they wouldn’t run into any problems from the terrain in the worst possible place.
He grabbed his radio and hit the talk button, holding it to his mouth.
“The cave’s are looking clear, smooth ground all the way.” He said.

Elijha heard the radio blare to life with Daniel's voice, and the good news. "Alright, IV it is," she said as she grabed the items, but as soon as she reached for Rio's arm she fought back. She swung her hand around and cried out as she continued to hold onto Malcom. She finally hit Elijha hard enough to knock her down into the snow. "This wont work," she said as she reached for another bag. "Hold her I'm going to sadate her," she said as she drew up the liquid. As soon as she went toward Rio with the needle she found that Rio just clinged even tighter to Malcom. Elijha sighed a bit as she gave her the shot in the arm.
Rio hung tightly to Malcom as she felt the prick. She kept her face burried in his chest, and held on as tight as possible. Though with each passing second she grew weaker, but still didn't pass out. She looked up tiredly at Malcom as he laid her down on the floor of the van. She never even paid any attention to Elijha as she placed the Iv's in her arm. Tears feel from her cheeks until she passed out.
Elijha sighed again as she looked down at Rio. "Stay back here with her. She seems to be comforted with you by her side. I'll drive," she said as she shut the door and climbed into the drivers seat. She looked back to make sure he was ready and then took off down the road. The van slid a bit on the road before she hit the durt road. She followed it down the path to the cave before seeing Daniel's car waiting for them. Picking up the radio she called back to him. "Take the left and head to the cabin first. We need to get Rio into a place we can easily warm up." With that she carefully followed them down the snow covered trail and took the turn by the lake. It wasn't long before they were at the cabin.
Hopping out she moved around to the back of the van, and opened the door. "Mind carrying her inside and finding her a place to lay down?"

"No problem. Just steady that bottle will you?"
Malcom carried Rio into the cabin, lightly kicking the door open as Elijah followed with the IV bottle. The inside was well furnished if a little dusty in places. He asked Elijah to throw a clean blanket over a bed near the rear wall before laying Rio down and hooking up the bottle to a wall fixture. Afterwards they each took turns bringing in gear and watching Rio.
"Could get a fire going, the wood outside might be a little wet though, but no fear."
Malcom tore open a bag and pulled out some magazines, newspapers and flammable alcohol in mini bottles.
"I helped myself to the free hotel stuff, figured I could afford it even if they gouge me for the cost." He left a small tub of ice cream and a pack of skittles next to Rio. "For when she wakes up, keep her mood up to help her feel more up for this."
Next he unloaded a few guns and set them up at the windows to cover them in case of any trouble, then dug through the drawers for any other supplies, finding a box of shotgun shells and a handful of loose rifle rounds.
"Might be a few guns left by the owner, better watch out for those, could be useful. So what's the plan?"

“I don’t know…” Daniel said, pacing the room for a moment. “We can’t move her right now, but we don’t have the time to wait until she’s stable.” He said. More and more it seemed like they were going downhill.
He busied himself taking a look around the cabin. It hadn’t been used in some time, that much was clear. It was also pretty much stripped of supplies. Whoever had left looked like they knew they were leaving, taking the important stuff with them. The shells Malcolm found were probably small change compared to what the person left with.
“Elijha? Any ideas?” He asked. She seemed to be the one with the most knowledge about the virus. Maybe she could find a way to slow it down.

Elijha looked out the window into the woods. This cabin was rather extravigant. From what she originally got for first entering was that it was two stories, and that gave away to the balcony that looked down into foyer. She could also make out three bedrooms, a bathroom, living room, and kitchen on the first floor. That made her wonder what was on the second level of the cabin. Outside it didn't look this big, but the inside was completly different. "For her I don't know. All we can do is slow it down," she said as she turned to the others.
She looked down at Rio and then made her way to the bedroom door. "For a place like this they should have a generator. Hopefully it will have fuel, and as for wood . . ." she looked toward Malcom. "If this place doesn't have any in the basement then were stuck with that on the outside. We do need to heat this place up."
As she walked out of the bedroom she heard a relativly loud click. She glanced to her side at the barrel of a shotgun, and behind it a rather tall and skinny man. He looked well into his fifties, and maybe older than that. He stepped around so he could see the others in the room while his weapon remained on Elijha. In his other hand he held up a small device that looked much like a voltage monitor.
"That, Sir, isn't wise to be pointing it at me," Elijha said rather calmly.
"I know what you are foul creature. I just want to know one thing before I make quick work of you and your other friends . . ." he growled slightly. "What are you damned things after, and why are you in my house. I am sick of dealing with your s***."

Malcom waited in the main room with Daniel as he started trying to plan the next move for the group. He did sadly make a point about being short on time.
"Maybe we could bunker down and I could run up to the lab for a look around. If we keep in contact over the radio I could warn you guys if it is a bust and you start moving out to our next lead if we have one."
They didn't notice Elijah leaving the room during the conversation, but the sound of the gun being readied was unmistakable. Malcom scooped up his MP5 and aimed past Elijah's head towards the newcomer.
"Hold it buddy, I think my thirty rounds has your two shells beat. We're just looking a little stalling point until our friend is back in better form. So let's not be starting nothing and we can all come out of this happy, we'll be out of your hair and you can get back to your moonshine still."

Daniel had heard the old man speaking. He couldn’t hear the words from the next room, but he heard a voice that didn’t belong to anyone he knew. It was enough for him to draw his handgun and move out into the main room, aiming out and seeing the scene in front of him. Malcolm was trying to talk him down, and Daniel wasn’t going to interrupt. But he did line up a shot with the old man’s chest. He wasn’t much worried about the shotgun being aimed at Elijha. He was pretty sure she could take the pellets and be ok with minimal effort. Rio, however. The spread could hit her, and that would be worse than a healthy person being hit.
Keeping his shot aimed at the chest of the man holding the shotgun, he narrowed his eyes and looked at the trigger guard of the weapon. If the old man moved his fingers a millimeter, Daniel would fire. Maybe he’d be quick enough to stop it, maybe not.

Elijha sighed as she looked at Daniel, and then to the man. "They are right. What do you think those shell's are even going to do to me?" she asked though granted she wasn't like those other creatures out there. A feel pellts would drop her faster than anything else. Granted she would live from them the fact of bleeding to death wasn't comforting. With Rio out she was sure that would happen, but she was also comforted in knowing that Daniel would take him down before he even had the chance.
"Do you think I care . . . these little pellets you speak of can pump you full of more anti-virus than one hundred of those damned needles could."
Elijha froze as she looked at the man. Getting shot was one thing, and she could probably survive the bleeding. She was sertain that the others would have enough knowledge to stop that, but when it came to the anti-virus that was a different story. To much and it would kill her instantly. Her entire body flowed with the virus. A slight moan from behind her caused her to turn slightly. She looked at the bed that Rio laid on. She stirred a moment before settling in a bit more.
The man stopped as he looked past Elijha to the bed. His blood ran cold as he seen the person laying on it. The IV running into her arm, and the pale color to her face. He faultered slightly in his stance, and then turned to glare at Elijha even more. He held the gun even tighter. "Let her go. What ever your doing to her let her go!" he barked.
"You're quite mistaken," she said as she looked back at him. "Ah- I see. Your her Uncle. She has thought of you dead. Brought us here to escape."
"Lies . . . your kind does nothing but lie!" he screamed. His hand shaking as his finger twitched.
Elijha looked toward Danile and motioned for him to lower his gun. She had done the same to Malcom who she couldn't see behind her. "I am not one of them. I maybe similar, but I am not them. Rio has saved my life, just like her friends saved my life. I owe them my life, that I sware."
"No!" he screamed. "No . . . what are you doing to her?" he screamed as he shook the shot gun at her. "Monster . . . what are you doing?"
Elijha studied him. Hoping that she could move quick enough. Regardless of what she said he was going to pull the trigger. She was just looking for an opening to stop him before he did. At least try to save him, because she knew if he fired that he was dead even though the others had lowered their weapons. It was a strange comfort to know even that would come from them.
"We are trying to save her. She was injected with the virus as well as him," she said waving toward Daniel. "Unlike him though her body has been rejecting it from the start, but not turning her like those undead," she pointed out. "Your lab . . ."
"No- no!" he screamed again. "No . . . she's to innocent to be out here . . . be with those. You took her from her brother . . . he wouldn't let anything happen to her . . . Answer me!" Elijha didn't answer him. How could she tell him that it was Riko who had done this to them. How could she tell him that Riko wasn't Riko anymore. "You did . . . you took her from her brother!" he screamed.
Elijha watched, and she seen Daniel raise his weapon. He was going to fire, and she had to move. She shifted slightly moving faster than any human. Her hand reaching for the stock of the shotgun, and shifting it up toward the ceiling as it went off. Some of the pellets striking the wall but most of them hit the ceiling. With the force both him and Elijha hit the floor. She knelt over him glaring down at him as she know had full control over the weapon.
"Riko is gone," she growled slightly. Her body ached and the pain she knew well enough. "Taken from Rio the first day they tried to rescue me. My father the blasted leader of Sincell . . ." she paused as she noticed the resounding hatred of the word "Dr Wolfe took Riko switched his brain, and from there they got screwed over." She bared her teeth as she fought the pain. It wasn't as bad as it could have been. Just a graze, but enough to throw her body into shock. "They stood up for me, fought for me, and defended me. While the true monster roamed freely among their friends. They were ran out, forced into hidding, and while he plays for both sides." Elijha hung her head slightly. "Go to her, but for some reason she believes that your lab can save them."
He moved slightly from under Elijha's gaze, and crawled to his feet. As he was certain neither Daniel or Malcom would fire he ran to Rio's bedside. Kneeling down at her bed he ran his hand over her head. "Rio," he mumbled slightly as he looked down at her.
Elijha didn't move. She just remained in her position for a moment longer. Then she felt what she had been fighting back. The overwhelming heat and dizzyness. She swayed a bite before the darkness took her and she fell toward the floor.

"Woah, hold on a sec. YOU'RE Rio's uncle?"
Malcom kept his gun up and moved around for a better shot, Daniel had the man covered in the meantime. It was somewhat of a kick in the head to find out that the man they needed help from was some backwoods bumpkin waving a shotgun for the 'city slickers to git offa mah dirt farm'.
"Hey, calm down old timer." The man was getting antsy when he saw Rio. "We just need some medical help for her, so if you maybe wind up the wireless maybe we can call for some real help, we'll even bring some white coats to look at you to."
When Elijah snatched the gun after it went off Malcom was down on one knee and ready to double tap the man, thankfully she had the situation in hand. He took the shotgun whilst keeping his own aimed and unloaded the other shell.
"Wait." The second shell was custom made. A glass cylinder filled with pellets and according to the engraved numbers...weaponised antivirus. "Daniel, we got a problem."
A second later he heard Elijah drop. He rushed over and tried to help her up.
"Dammit, nice work you crazy old goon. Now we're in twice as much trouble." He ran through some quick details, Rio needed antivirus, antivirus was actually hurting Elijah and Daniel could go either way at this point. "If you really are a doc old man, you'd best have something to help them both. I'm not the glass half full kind of guy."
