The New York hotel is a NYC themed hotel, with miniature replicas of famous buildings in the lobby. The building also has a small gambling area in the large lobby, but the center of attention is around the gigantic buffet area.

[-.Daisuke enters the parking lot.-] Daisuke's footsteps carried him into the empty valet parking lot, his attention shifting about as he realized that there was no one there. Probably changing shifts? Daisuke couldn't help but grin to himself as he moved to the Valet booth and swipe a set of keys, walking through the parking lot and pressing the unlock button repeatedly as he listened for the alarm unlocking. After a few minutes, Daisuke found the car, a Kia Forte. Daisuke shifted his head about and watched for people, before opening the car door and sitting in the driver's side. Daisuke checked the glove compartment and found a map, guess it was obvious there'd be one since the plates were from California. He scanned over the map, trying to decide for his next destination. A soft sigh escaped Dai's lips as he stuffed it in the glove compartment and decided to just wing it. Dai would head east, see what was out and about in the distances of the United States. Daisuke put the key in the ignition and turned it, hearing the sounds of the car starting up, Daisuke slowly pulled out of the parking lot and out onto the streets of Vegas. There was no time to enjoy the gambling, it was time to go out and see what he could salvage from the dead streets of the Land of the Free. [-.Daisuke is moving towards Minneapolis, Minnesota.-]

((Group enters))
Elijha leaned forward as Malcom pulled the van up behind Daniel's car. "You know. You would figure that they would at least have a motel 8 around here or a village inn. Why does every hotel have to be in a casino," she grumbled as she climbed out of the car. "Stay here. I'm going to see what they have," she said as she walked into the building. It was about thirty minutes later before she exited with two sets of room keys. She looked at Daniel. "That side road. Take it and follow it around back."
She climed in the van as Malcom started to follow the car around back. Once they pulled into the parking lot Elijha climbed out. "We're on the third floor. There is a service elevator that they'll let us take," she said pointing to the door that was opening. She walked around picking up Rio and waited for the others to pick up a few bags. She then lead them to the door, and nodded to the person holding the door open. Once inside they made there way down the hall and to the service elevator. Up to their floor and down to their room. Once inside one room Daniel went back out and to their room.
Elijha set Rio down on the bed, and checked her over. Satisfied she walked over to the door that lead to the other room. "Pass through," she said as Daniel opened his door. "We can keep these open so just incase anything happens," she pointed out.

“Hey, casino’s are built on greed. They take your money at the tables, why not squeeze a bit more out of you for the room?” Daniel had said to Elijha when she wondered on why they couldn’t find a normal hotel.
“Besides. Who is gonna expect us to be in such a high end place?” He asked, looking at the flat screen TV mounted on the wall of the main/bedroom of the room. “I aint stayed in a place this nice since…” He began, thinking for a moment. “Never, actually.” He said.
They got Rio squared away in a bed, and Daniel took a seat at their table. He pulled out a map of the country he’d grabbed from the bedside table and spread it out over the small work table. “All right, this is where we are now.” He said, marking their location with a pen. “The lab is in Dakota.” Marking it as well. “So, we can head further north from here tomorrow, curve right here and start heading west again. We could make it in… nineteen hours, depending on conditions.” He said, some quick math almost doing itself in his head.
For the moment, they were anonymous, but staying somewhere new each night was a habit that would work out for them. At least until they got to the lab. Like his house, it was off the grid in almost any way possible. No one knew where it was. They just needed to get there, and they didn’t always have the best luck with… Anything.

After the unpacking Malcom set about giving the rooms a check over with the scanner, just in case anyone had managed to set them up with a bugged or rigged hotel. Thankfully it got the all clear and he set to work taping a few of the spare handguns under beds, sinks and such. No such thing as overpreparing.
"Great that they can keep some cities running, the economy might collapse if the showgirls and slot machines stop raking in the cash. By the way go easy on the minifridges, that's how they really gouge you."
He checked Rio was resting okay before joining the team in checking out the map. Whilst Daniel talked he fiddled with a custom mount he was trying out, it could be attached to a rifle or smg and connected to a windowframe or other level place for setting up a defensive firing position.
"Think we ought to throw a little cash around? Send some hired guns to stir up the area? draw out any trouble and give us a clear run for the lab? Plenty of good and bad people in this city but I don't think any of them want the turd reich setting up as a neighbour."

Elijha looked over Daniel's shoulder at the map. "Looks like this lab is in a relativily secluded area." She traced her finger around it finding nothing but woods. "Looks like the home Rio was talking about has the same deal. If that's the case then we should have the woods all to our self if the lab is clear," she pointed out.
She walked over and sat on one of the beds. "Right now we need to think about gettin a bit more clothing and something to wear up there. It's the middle of winter, and it's probably more than likely blizzard weather up there," she said as she looked at the others. She then turned to the tv turning it on, and flipping through the channels. All she came up with was the news, and pramotions for Vegas. "Well there not really showing anthing good on," she said as she turned off the tv. "So do we shop now or tomorrow?" she asked as she turned around on the tv.

“We could start now. Check the hotel store first. Probably get discounts because its out of season.” He said. He took a look in the mirror for a moment. He looked presentable enough. Anything he was carrying was hidden, he didn’t look too out of place. The whole city was crawling with mercenaries, wearing the same thing as he was for a uniform. Either he’d be taken as one of them, and make it a lot easier to pull a gun if he needed to, or he was just some civilian who got a set of clothes from them. Seemed normal enough for the time.
I’ll go down, see if I can find anything.” He said. “Do you think they carry child sizes?” He said with a smirk as he looked at Elijha, and then to Rio. Standing up, he exited the room after taking a look out in the hall. Empty. He made his way to the elevator and hit the button, waiting for it to come back to this floor. As he did, he took one last look toward the room and entered the lift, hitting the button for the lobby. If this hotel didn’t have anything, he’d come back and they could all go out to a dedicated store for their needs.

"Check the pay per view, see if they're showing any good movies."
Malcom sat on a chair next to the window and started flicking through his PDA files again, thinking he might find something about the area they were headed to that would help out. If Daniel found anything in the shops he'd likely warn them so they could take a trip out in shifts so Rio wouldn't be left alone. Not that it would be easy to rob a vegas hotel nowadays, with all the casino money the owners would blow away so much as a litterer if they caught one.
"Hey Dan, ask if they have a traders market nearby, maybe we can get you some explosives. Embarrasing to be seen with you when you aren't equipped for your job. and ask what the show is tonight, if David Copperfield is on we're going to have to see him."

Elijha looked back as Daniel walked out of the room. She looked down at Rio and then stood up. "I need to get Rio and myself a change of cloths that actually fit. Not to mention I don't think Daniel has any idea what size we actually wear," she said as she headed for the door. She stood there for a moment and then looked back at Malcom. "Keep an eye on her. She should be fine, but with that virus in her I don't know what to expect." She walked out of the room, and headed down the stairs. She met Daniel halfway and patted him in the shoulder. "Don't worry about getting anything for Rio."
She looked around as they came into view of the ground floor. Her hand instantly gripping his arm and pulling him to a stop. It wasn't until now, but she could feel his presence close to them. "The virus is getting stronger in Riko," she whispered under her breath. Her eyes scanning the crowd but she couldn't see him. "I think I know how he keeps tracking us," she said as she looked at him. "If I can feel him now I wonder how long he has been able to track the virus in me," she pointed out.
"We need to get our stuff, and stay out of sight until we leave. It seems that there just keeping an eye on us for now." She paused for a moment in thought and then looked back at him. "That or there waiting to see how the virus takes tole on you. Lets say you may be their human gunie pig," she said as she followed him down the stairs.

“Act natural.” Daniel said, stopping and looking around the lobby like he was looking for a certain store. He scanned the crowd like she did, but didn’t see anything. Maybe he wasn’t actually in the building. He pointed toward the clothing store he had already located and motioned her to follow.
He waited until they were in the store, down and aisle with a clear look at the security camera. Covered with a mirror, they could easily see in all directions with a quick look up. He pushed the cart he’d grabbed and came to a stop in the middle of it.
“Guinea pigs? I thought they were trying to kill us, not use us for experiments.” He said. “Or are they going for time management and trying both?” He asked. He had a feeling he may not be going by their expectations. Rio was instantly ill, and she’d go downhill soon if this virus was like any he’d ever seen before. But he was the exact opposite. That couldn’t have been on purpose.
“All right, these look good.” He said, looking at a few jackets on the wall. Good winter coats, bright colors for ease of locating someone in the snow, insulated. Seemed good. He picked one off the shelf that was his size and tossed it into the cart. Down the same aisle, a selection of boots. He picked a set that was two sizes larger than normal and slid his foot inside without taking off his boot. It fit. The boots came up past the knees, strapping down in a water proof seal to keep the wearer dry. Looked good.
“What do you think? Miss America approved?” He said with a smirk as he took them off and put them in the cart. He then started to look for Malcolm. About the same size as him, even though he a few inches taller than the engineer.

"Okay, have fun I guess. Suppose I'll just sit here and order room service or something.....maybe call up for a massage therapist or bet on the sports channel."
Malcom took another look around the hotel room for anything useful, eventually raiding the medicine cabinet in the bathroom. Aside from a few basic supplies he added to their gear he found a pack of antivirus tablets, the kind that helped the body slow down the spread of T or G virus infection until they could get to a real doctor for treatment. He filled a glass of water and left it with the pills on the cabinet next to Rio's bed, deciding to let her sleep for now.
Afterwards he moved a small table and chair out, sitting with his back to the wall and facing the door. His sword on the floor next to him and his machine gun on the table, he shuffled a deck of cards he'd found and started a game of solitaire to pass the time.

Elijha looked around the shelves pulling off a jacket and holding it up to her. "Think we could go snow boarding before we leave there," she asked with a small laugh. She tried on the coat and zipped it up. "Kind of tight. Though it will be perfict for Rio," she said under her breath. She picked up a larger size and tried it on when she was satisfied she threw it in the cart as well. She gathered up some boots and snow pants as well. "Alright. I'm going over there to the normal cloths and picking up a couple of outfits for Rio and myself," she said as she walked across the room. She looked back to make sure she was still in sight of Daniel. As she wondered to pick up out some outfits including new shoes she wondred a bit out of Daniel's sight.
Standing on the other side of the racks Daniel was looking at was Riko. He waited until Elijha was out of sight and ear range. He leaned up against the rack as Daniel was searching through it. "You seem to be doing quite well for being a man on death row." He laughed slightly. He watched as Daniel came around the racks ready to kill him. "Hold up," he said raising his radio. "Make one bad move, and your friend over there goes through one of her killer rampages again," he said with a grin. "I just come to play messanger. Just know this that no matter where you go you will never be able to hide from Sincell. Right now we just leave you alone, because you prove to be a perfict distraction against Art and her team. As long as she still searches for you and your friend she leaves my boss alone," he said as he turned to walk out of the store. "Dr Wolfe wont mess with you as long as you stay away from the labs. He will even help you out if you ask." He looked at Elijha as she was heading back. "Tell Rio she can start griving about her brother. Dr Wolfe got all he wanted so the brain was desposed of." With that said he disappeared into the crowed.
Elijha looked a pale in the face as she walked up to Daniel. "We can't tell her that," she said looking at him. She through the close in the cart and leaned up against it. "What are we going to do now?" she asked looking back to him.
----------------------------------
Rio shifted on the bed a bit before she opened her eyes. Looking around the room she realized that it was just her and Malcom. She smiled lightly as she struggled to sit up, and after a bit of grunting she was finally leaning up against the headboard. "Looks like everyone left you with me," she said lightly as she looked around the room. "Sorry for that," she said as she shifted her feet to hanging off the bed. "No I'm okay," she said as soon as she seen Malcom getting up to help her. "I need to move around. I think my legs are going numb," she said with a laugh.
She stood up staggering a bit, and then stumbled into Malcom's arms. She laughed a bit as she rested against him. "Well okay if you insist," she said as she regained her balance. She looked around the room, and then down at the cloths she was wearing. "Wow . . . who's clot . . ." Her words dropped off as she collapsed into his arms. Her knee's giving out as she cried out slightly. Her hand's gripping Malcom's arms as she burried her face into his chest as she continued to cry. Her cries quickly dying out as she laid in his arms panting heavily as she continued to hold onto him tightly.

Daniel examined a pair of boots to replace the ones he wore now, happening to look up and saw a face looking at him. His dropped the pair of boots on the ground, his hand instinctually reached for the handgun at his side. He unsnapped the holster and pulled it halfway out, rounding the shelf and holding the weapon at his side, pressed against his leg. He stopped dead when the radio came into view.
He wondered for a moment what the lesser of two evils were, or weather he could both stop Elijha from hurting anyone and killing the imposter Riko at the same time. He didn’t have enough faith in himself to try, and he slipped the weapon back into his holster.
He listened to everything Riko had to say, never saying a word. Every single word built the urge to kill, peaking when he told them about the real Riko. Reaching out and gripping Riko by the collar of his shirt, seeing the radio held up one more time. He slowly let go, stepping forward to whisper in his ear.
“It doesn’t matter where we are. Next time I see you I kill you where you stand.” He said, a calm voice that didn’t display emotion. Not a threat, not a promise. Just the truth.
“What should we tell her then?” He asked, looking over at Elijha. He thought for a moment and sighed. What could they do? Nothing. Nothing right now, anyway. He had a laundry list of things he was going to do soon enough. And he had a feeling Sincell had given him the tools to do it.
“Lets just get the s*** and get back to the room.” He said, pushing the cart filled with items toward the front of the store.

"Nah, I just prefer guard duty to going out shopping y'know? Unless they're selling something I can tinker with I don't much care, just let Daniel and Elijah handle that for now. Hey, watch yourself."
Malcom rushed over to help Rio stay steady when she started to wobble. He decided to hold off on panicking her with a medical update for a while just yet, a bit of positive reinforcement might help her out some. She staggered again as she tried to talk. He helped her back to the bed, mostly carrying.
"Careful, I don't think you're fully rested yet. We're in vegas now, booked into a hotel to take a break before we move on, I doubt Art of Sincell are going to start anything on private property. Just rest up a little more, take some pills, and if you want I'll order out for something to eat, even if you want to skip straight to desert your call on what you want."

Rio calmed down a bit as Malcom put her into the bed. Once she was laying back down the pain seemed to ease up greatly. She closed her eyes and rested her head on the pillow. "Thank you," she said in a whisper. She finally opened up her eyes and looked at him. "In truth. I am hungry," she laughed slightly thinking back to when they were at Daniel's home. She couldn't eat anything there, but for some reason she was starving here. "Ice cream, soup, oh . . ." she trailed off as she looked up at him with a grin. "And steak. Well done. I'm for some strange reason starving," she laughed slightly. She watched as Malcom walked over to the phone to place an order.
-------------------------
Elijha sighed a bit as they walked up to the counter to pay for their cloths. She looked around the room before looking back at Daniel. "We're going to have to tell her at some point, but . . ." she trailed off as she helped him with the bags. "I agree with waiting. Right now we need her to get better, and find out exactly what is going on with you," she pointed out as they made their way back out to their room. Her eyes continued to scan their surroundings, and after a minute she stopped. "I can't feel him anymore," she said as she scanned the floor. "I still wouldn't judge that though. He's getting stronger fast."
She tilted her head as she seen a hotel employee exiting their room. He nodded to them and continued on down the hall. She looked back, but he disappeared down the hall. Upon walking in she seen a cart loaded with foods of all types. "Wow, I didn't think you would be starving after that fantastic meal at Daniel's place," she said with a laugh.
"He ordered for me," Rio said as she sat up in bed with Malcom's help.
"Well it's good to see you awake," she said as she set the bags up a gainst the wall. "Still isn't this a bit much."
"Some of it's for me, but I told him to go ahead and order everyone else something. I just want the soup, Ice cream, and steak." She laughed slightly. "I'm starving for some reason."
"I'm not surprised it's been a while since you have eaten," she said as she helped Malcom set up her food. "Malcom why don't you go try on your cloths to see if they fit. An we have to figure up a sleep schedual."
"Why?"
"Just to keep an eye on you. I don't want you falling out on us again, and all of us being asleep," she explained. Half of it was the truth, but most of it was toward Riko and if he was still here." She looked to Daniel. "So what do you think?"
